The men I want are forbidden. What’s worse? I want all three of them.
My father isolated me while chaos swept the country. All my life, he hid me away like a precious jewel for being too curious, too attracted to danger.
Then I got myself kidnapped.
My saviors are three brutal men on roaring motorcycles--the Sons of Odin MC. Death and carnage are all they know, and yet I felt safer on the back of their bikes than in the ivory tower where I was imprisoned.
For a moment, I was finally free. Until they delivered me right back to my father.
I know a governor’s daughter shouldn’t dream of men with haunted eyes. Men who have killed, pillaged, and ransacked this broken country I’m trying to fix. But when the Sons of Odin become my personal bodyguards, I’m not just curious. I’m insatiable.
I want to feel free again.
But freedom comes at a price, one that might be too high to pay. We’re playing with fire, sending our two worlds on a collision course.
And I don’t know if we’ll survive the crash.
Their Property is a standalone reverse harem romance set in the same world as the Steel Demons MC series. An HEA is guaranteed and you do not need to read Steel Demons MC to enjoy Their Property. Contains MMF/MM scenes.
The following ratings are out of 5: Romance: 💙🖤💚❤️ Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Story/Plot: 📕📗📙📘 World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌍 Character development: 😠😘🤓🥰 Narrator(s): 🎙🎙🎙🎙 Narration Type: Dual Narration
The heroine:Kyrie - she is the Governor’s rebellious daughter in a post collapse dystopian world, who ran off at nineteen with millionaire Malcom Blake in order to get out from under her fathers thumb, and ended up being kidnapped by Malcom and locked in a room until they were married and it was time to “break her in”. She was supposed to be silent and agreeable.
The Heroes:T-bone, Dyno and Grudge - They were from the Sons of Odin motorcycle club and they were a triad in a committed relationship. The club worked with the Governor of Four Corners and were the same men that saved the Governor’s daughter from Malcom Blake. Their latest job was to be her bodyguards as she became the ambassador in a newly formed territory.
The Story: After Kyrie was saved from Malcom Blake by men on motorcycles, she has been in a guilted cage in her father’s compound for four years. She finally was able to move to a new territory when she got a job as an ambassador. She traveled to the capital with soldiers in an armored car with bulletproof glass. She was surprised when she arrived that she was practically set up with the the nephew of the governor of the territory where she was sent to be an ambassador. She was also surprised that her guards hadn’t yet arrived.
I liked the fact that Grudge was the strong silent type. He had been tortured years ago and they cut out his tongue, so he couldn’t talk, though the guys pretty much knew what he was thinking most of the time and he kept a pad and paper with him for times when he needed to get his more complicated thoughts across. I have to say though that a bisexual triad in a motorcycle club seemed a bit out there, though I did like that they were out and proud about their relationship.
I liked the fact that Kyrie was smart and compassionate and wanted to make some good changes to the territory, though the people she was working with were misogynistic elitist jerks who didn’t to make things better for anyone that wasn’t like themselves. I also loved the fact that there were some paranormal happenings.
Though I have to admit, I am not fond of the age gap trope. It just makes me think that since women generally live longer lives than men, and there is a 20 year age gap, that the heroine will end up living a long time alone in the future. It just makes me a bit sad. Also I kept wishing that Kyrie would teach the guys sign language from the first time she mentioned she knew ASL.
This book is told in dual points of view via dual narration. It was narrated by Troy Duran and Stephanie Rose. Troy is my favorite male narrator and has a deep, sexy voice which works well for almost any romance. Stephanie Rose is a new narrator to me, and she has an ok voice, which is very feminine, though a bit annoying. Her emotions seem a bit overdone and not natural, but overall she did a fine job.
This is a standalone dystopian RH with MC heroes. It's a spinoff of the Steel Demons MC series from this author – but I haven’t read that, and I wasn’t confused. 4 stars might be a bit generous since I liked this a lot but didn't love it. But it's a very well done book, and most of my issues with it are personal taste, not its quality.
The basic plot is that in the near-future, the US has broken down after political violence took out the central government. It’s now divided into territories with governors. Some of them are stable, but many aren’t. The heroine is a governor’s daughter from a stable territory, and she’s sent to another territory to be a diplomat. The 3 heroes are in an MC, and they’re hired by her dad to be her bodyguards while she’s there.
The heroine is a 23 year old virgin (not a trope I love, but it does make sense in this, since her dad had locked her away) and the heroes are 38-40. This is a unique RH because the 3 guys were bisexual and already in a 3-person relationship with each other before the heroine came into it. That’s not usually my jam, because I like the heroine to be the focus (in my opinion, otherwise, that's a poly book, not an RH book. Nothing wrong with that, but it's not the genre). And also, a lot of authors who try to have MM relationships within an RH don’t develop them well. But here, it was well developed, and it didn’t really feel like the heroine was an afterthought. (Although there WERE some times in the first half where I wished she was more involved).
The characters are all distinctive and likeable: one of the guys had his tongue cut out years ago so he’s mute and brooding, the leader is impulsive, and the third guy is Native American and more mellow, but also likes explosives and is a single dad. Their road names are all ugly and off putting: T-bone, Grudge, and Dyno. I’m not sure why the author couldn’t have given them sexier names. But, whatever. The heroine is very compassionate, but not in a way that’s overly sweet and naive, she’s easy to like.
This reminded me a bit of Last Light and Saving Setora, but it’s got more plot than Last Light (plus, two more heroes, and the MC element) and the romance isn’t as dark as Saving Setora (there's no dub con in this).
There’s a minor supernatural element too – one of the heroes can project his mind into a raven, and the heroine has a Valkyrie who’s like an invisible guardian to her. I feel mixed about that. I like mystical stuff, but it was implied that the Valkyrie might be the heroine’s mom, but that didn’t really go anywhere. So, the supernatural stuff was kind of a, “What’s the point of this?”
Also, the title and cover makes it seem like this is a hardcore smut book, and there’s nothing wrong with that....but it IS misleading here, since this has a lot of plot, the steam is pretty slow-burn, and it does cover some serious issues (like other people being homophobic towards the bisexual heroes).
Overall, this is one of the better standalone RHs that I’ve read in a while, and the world is a great dystopia. I had been avoiding the author’s other series because it’s 10 books long…but now this makes me want to read it.
4.8 stars. Dayum. This was hot. And I loved it. I love the teasing, I love the dirty talk. Everything about this was so cool and so good.
I loved the little bit of magic that went along with the book, too. Im not gonna put this in my pnr list though, because it’s just not. It has little bits of magic and like, spirits, but it’s not a huge part of the story and the characters are mostly just regular people. Whatever. If you read it or already have you’ll understand what I’m saying, if not don’t worry about it.
The plot was sort of simple but with some action and violence thrown in for fun that kept me totally interested. The sex is H.O.T. Everyone is into each other and it’s perfection. Swords are not just crossing, honey. They.👏Are.👏Twining and Thriving. It is fantastic. The relationships are so good. All the emotion. All the growth. It’s beautiful.
Anyway. I loved it. Obviously And I will For Sure be checking out other books by this author. I am so down for all of it.
You know the feeling when you love a series so much, you want every side character to get their own book? And then, the amazing author of that beloved series writes a spin-off featuring your favorite side characters and it’s even more amazing that the original?!? Well that’s exactly how I feel after reading Their Property, a spin-off of Crystal’s Steel Demons series, a post-apocalyptic RH. This book in set in the same dystopian world and while it can be read as a standalone, for the best experience I strongly suggest first reading Steel Demons.
This book is MMMF which means the 3 MMC’s are in a committed relationship with each other and when they meet the FMC, they all fall for each other and she joins the relationship. But of course, it’s not as seamless as that sounds. There is a lot of hesitation, tension, and angst as these characters wade through their complicated feelings. Getting to RH status is more of a slow burn but in the meantime there is some sizzling MMM action from our men. And once this foursome comes together the chemistry is explosive with lots of spicy and sweet moments.
I loved getting a deeper dive into these characters’ stories after meeting them in the SDMC series. The relationship between the Sons is beautiful, passionate and chaotic and the definition of ride or die. Our FMC Kyrie is highly intelligent, savvy and sophisticated yet also gritty and brave, fiercely loyal and compassionate.
The setting is a post-apocalyptic US where there is still quite a bit of conflict, leading to lots of action and intrigue alongside a fast moving plot and a touch of the paranormal element of this captivating world.
If you are a Steel Demons reader this is an absolute must-read. If not, come join me asap in this captivating world!
Thank you to Crystal Ash for this amazing ARC. And also Jessica Schmit for her hard work with the ARC team!
I knew as soon as the Sons were introduced in the Steel Demons series I was going to love their story. I was hooked on this book. I would find any excuse to hide in a quiet corner for 10 mins to read. I was constantly thinking about this book when I wasn't reading it.
If you don't read this book then your seriously missing out.
♡MC Club ♡Bisexual MMMF relationship ♡Age gap romance ♡Distopian
I was sooo excited to start this book. Having read some of the Steel Demons MC books I love the world that has been created and couldn’t wait to dive in.
I absolutely loved this book from the beginning. Kyrie is such an amazing character and I love her spark when it comes to doing things that are the best for the many not just for the few.
The Sons are just everything, I love them all and honestly cannot pick between them. They all bring something different and when they interact together it’s just amazing.
The story is really gripping, it’s so involved and there is lots happening but it all comes together incredibly and flows all the way through.
The spice in this book was seriously hot 🥵🥵🥵 I mean 3 men who are all intimate and then throw in the lady too, we’ll play time became a whole new level 😜
At times this book make me seriously laugh so much and then at other times my heart was breaking for the characters 🖤 There was a few twisty moments too 😍
This is a dystopian MC RH book with multi POV which is amazing especially coming from Grudge 🖤 there is some dark themes so check triggers.
I just loved everything about it and it ended amazing 🖤
This was a terrific read. I was quite wishing for this spin off to exist. Sons of Odin needed theirs story. They already had a greatest connection with one another. They was good together, caring for each other, supporting and just out there when needed. Ok, of course everything is not rainbows and roses, they are not always on the same page. World is not on the same page either, but since it’s post-apocalyptic story then nothing is peachy. Kyrie was kept in “golden cage” most of he life, yet she is very intelligent, full of ressources, carry lots of diplomacy and is simply unique. And somehow not only she is able to make change around her, dreaming of the better future for all this world, but also choose the better future for herself, find her rightful place. She dreamed of freedom, of a right man yet she found three of them and they all couldn’t be a better match. Sons of Odin had already perfectly sexual situation being with one another but Kyrie added a “link” they didn’t knew they needed. Even if some needed more time to see that’s the right path to take. As for all this world it was great story and it’s promising a better future can really happen. It was great read.
i have been WAITING for this book ever since i binged all of the steel demons mc series last year and it👏🏽 de👏🏽liv👏🏽ered. you technically don't need to read sdmc first, their property is written as a standalone, but sdmc gives you a better understanding of the world and a brief intro into who the sons of odin are. · and speaking of the sons, i LOVE them. seriously, i don't know how to choose. what makes this particular reverse harem so unique compared to others i've read is that t-bone, grudge, and dyno are already in a relationship with each other prior to the book starting, prior to any entanglement with kyrie and i really enjoyed what that did with the dynamic of the book. add in the forbidden aspect of being her bodyguards, and you get the perfect book. also, after meeting kyrie in sdmc i was excited to get her story and see her grow outside of the governor's daughter she's known to be in sdmc. · if you love dystopian romance, motorcycle clubs, forbidden bodyguard romances, and norse mythology, this book is for you!!! it checks off so many boxes, their property is EVERYTHING.
Steel Demons was an amazing series so when it came to end, I was super sad about it! lol.
When Crystal Ash announced that even though Mari and her men's story were done, this world was not, I was over the moon!
Kyrie's character is not to be compared to Mari as she is a bada$$ in her own right. Her three men, T-Bone, Dyno & Grudge from the Sons of Odin are all drool worthy, alpha, crazy protective and more.
The timeline is this story takes place about 4 years after Steel Demons MC, when they are still trying to re-build their world. When they are all reunited, the shield is broken and they couldn't stay away from each other, if they tried. This book is full of forbidden steam, love and holy hotness.
This book can be read as a standalone and is definitely worth the read.
*Overall 4.5/5 *Heat? 5/5 *Multiple first person POV *MMFM Relationship (Includes lots of MM) *Ends on HEA!
I've got real mixed feelings. The writing is really good, but the plot was kooky. I also felt like the age gap was just for the sake of an age gap? These guys could have been 10 years younger, and the plot could have been the same.
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC from Crystal Ash in return for an honest review. I am familiar with this author's writing style, as her Steel Demons MC series gave me my first taste of reverse harem. She was the perfect author to have me addicted to the idea of more than one man, and this story did not disappoint my expectations of her work! This book is a MMM polyamorous relationship that becomes a MMMF reverse harem. One of the reasons I love Crystal Ash's reverse harems so much, is that she can expertly create characters with such individualized characteristics. Each of her characters bring something unique to the relationship which makes the relationship feel complete and whole rather than taboo or a power struggle amongst the testosterone. Grudge, T-Bone, and Dyno have a beautiful dynamic from the start of the story, so you don't have to wait long to feel the burn of their passion bring some heat to this romance. T-Bone is quick tempered with no filter, a little bossy, and has a dirty sense of humor that has you laughing throughout the story. Grudge stole my heart with his dark past, silent acts of love, and his heart of gold. T-Bone is the level headed glue with a dirty mouth that will make you flush. While you quickly get acquainted with the three men's dynamic, their relationship that develops with Kyrie is more of a slow burn. These men all but worship the ground this woman walks upon. As this is a dystopian world, their relationship comes with a lot of roadblocks from outside forces of prejudice. These forces create a perfect environment for Kyrie to go through great character growth and development as she learns what things are important fighting for even if the ones you love disapprove of your choices. I wish we the fantasy/paranormal and dystopian elements of this novel had a chance to develop and breath over one or two more books along with their relationship. I found it easy to follow along as I had previous experience with it from the Steel Demons series, but I worry those without the experience may feel it a bit rushed at times. That being said the romance was divine, the character development was superior, the taboo subject of reverse harems was expertly crafted, and the plot was engaging. I think this book is a wonderful read for anyone who enjoys MC novels and reverse harems. The book was full of spicy scenes if you're an instant gratification reader, and full of all consuming love amongst the four. If you loved Crystal Ash's Steel Demons series then you will surely love this novel too! If you have never read the Steel Demons series, then it is a great place to start, but not necessary to jump into this novel.
We met Kyrie and her men in The Steel Demons MC Series, but it is not required to read those first (although it's a great series as well!)
After the Sons rescued Kyrie from being kidnapped and delivered her back home, they left the city of Four Corners. Kyrie never was able to forget about or stop thinking about how she felt around them. They're the only people who ever made her feel safe, but they left her.
Now, after 4 years of her father keeping her trapped and guarded at home Kyrie is able to leave... as long as she has bodyguards. She is traveling to another city to help restructure/rebuild a territory after the collapse of the US government. Guess who just happen to show up to be her body guards? 😉
T-Bone, Dyno, and Grudge already have a very loving (and super sweet) relationship among the three of them but oh my does it get hot hot hot behind closed doors! 🔥 T-Bone's dirty talk will have you 🥵 When they see Kyrie again they just know that she is off limits and have to fight their feelings towards her. Que all the sexual tension.. which the guys tend to take out on each other. 😉
When an uprising causes them to flee their current city, will they take her back to her father again...? Are they willing to walk away from her again?
🏍
I loved the huge soft spot these big burly alpha men had for Kyrie. They also weren't afraid to be who they were and love who they love. 💙 They were always open and honest about their relationship with each other and didn't care what anyone else thought. Kyrie had a ton of character growth throughout out this book. Learning how to stand up for herself and put her foot down, especially towards her paranoid overprotective father. The world building and the plot in this story were so so good. I was also happy to see little cameos from our Steel Demons crew!
This was beyond amazing, it was a story that swept me away and didn’t let go! I had to go everywhere with my Kindle because I couldn’t stop reading this story. Wow. Just wow.
The story of Kyrie and her men is set in a dystopian world where territories are ruled by different governors. The story has a short prequel which tells how the Sons of Odin first came into contact with Kyrie but the story actually begins four years later when Kyrie gets appointed Ambassador of her territory and moves to another territory to help them flourish. The men - T-Bone, Dyno and Grudge - are all already in a committed triad but none of them have been able to stop thinking about Kyrie since they rescued her all those years later. Now they are thrown in close quarters together when they are appointed as her personal security.
The story is so well done. I immediately fell in love with all the men and Kyrie and I loved the sprinkles of paranormal within the storyline. It wasn't too much, but there were definitely just enough sprinkles there to keep it interesting. Also I love the Norse mythology sprinkling on top, it just fits so well within the story but doesn't take too much away from it.
I love how strong and independent Kyrie is in this book. Despite her young age (tbh, I forgot there was an age gap in this book which is amazing!), she knew what she wanted and she was definitely willing to work for what was right. My kind of gal. And the way the men struggled with loving her but feeling like they weren't enough is like catnip to me and I eat that all up. Honestly, this whole book was gold to my from start to finish and I never wanted it to end. The spice was excellent, the character growth worked for me, the action was impeccable and I just fell completely in love. IN LOVE.
This book is everything we were hoping for when Crystal annonced it! I fell in love with Kyrie and the Sons of Odin so much more!!
Their Property is a reverse harem standalone with characters from Crystals Steel Demons series.
Ive been looking forward to this book for so long and Crystal knocked it outta the park!!!
Kyrie is the perfect FMC, and it made my heart so happy to see her getting the freedom she deserved.
T-Bone, Dyno and Grudge are everything you want in your biker harem. The way they love each other is so amazing and the way Kyrie fits perfectly with them, ugh it's just perfect.
Throw in some gifts from the God's, gunfight, some drama and amazing spicy scenes and you have a masterpiece!!
Crystal, this book is INCREDIBLE!! You guys need to read this as soon as it releases!!!
If you have ever read any of my reviews when it comes to RH books/series, then you know I have a really weird hang-up when it comes to mm in the story. To keep it brief, I don’t like mm in the story if it comes after the group meets the FMC. It feels like cheating to me, and I don’t know why. I CANNOT get my brain to be okay with it. So before you come at me for this, KNOW that I DO understand it’s a super weird hang-up, and I HAVE tried to get over it…but I can’t.
Okay, so that brings me to this book, because lemme tell ya…there is mm, mmm, & mmmf all over the place, and I was good with it. Why? Well, for one, I think it’s because of the author. Crystal Ash is a phenomenal writer and she has created one of my most favorite MMC’s to date—Shadow (my bae), from the Steel Demons MC series—and I will forever love her for that. Second, I was okay with this because the guys were already an established triad before they brought Kyrie into the mix. AGAIN, I don’t know WHY my brain is okay with one scenario and not the other, but tis what it tis.
For those that have read the Steel Demons MC series, then you will be familiar with the Sons of Odin and Kyrie, and this is their steaming hot story. For those of you who haven’t, it’s okay, it’s not necessary to read that first, but I HIGHLY recommend it. Not only is it just a freaking amazing series, but some of the characters from there are talked about, referred to, and/or make a cameo in Their Property and it just adds to the story.
Their Property is a standalone, fantasy(ish), dystopian RH romance and as much as I loved it, I really do wish that this was at least a duology. At times, the pacing felt rushed and the romance too. However, I also understand that these characters met years ago, so it’s not as insta-love as it comes across. There was enough of a plot that it could have been expanded over two books (at least), and I would have loved a little more time with Kyrie and her men, especially a little more background on the guys. Don’t get me wrong, we are given ample background, but I wanted the time to know them and explore them like we were given in Steel Demons. This is totally Crystal’s fault for writing such complex and loveable characters.
As it is though, I really did love this book. I was a huge fan of the Sons when I read SDMC, and I loved loved loved getting to read from their perspectives and watching them get their HEA, and, as in true Crystal Ash fashion, the spice was absolutely scorching hot. Seriously…like…damn.
I absolutely recommend anything Crystal Ash, but if you want a nice standalone RH that reads contemporary but has a few paranormal/fantastical elements, then this is it. If I get killed or kidnapped because I’ve infiltrated a Motorcycle club, then you all need to tell Crystal Ash that it is her fault and it's her duty to mount a rescue, because she has made me fucking HOT for MCs and I want my own harem of them.
Their Property is the first book I’ve read of Crystal’s and I was stoked to receive the ARC for it after having it on my TBR since it was first announced.
This book is a long one but, once I started it, I honestly couldn’t put it down!!
Their Property is a standalone RH romance set in the same world as the Steel Demons MC series and it does have crossovers with other known characters.
The story follows the journey of Kyrie and her three men, T-Bone, Dyno & Grudge; The Sons of Odin.
Kyrie is a fab FMC and really isn’t your typical damsel in distress. She is beautiful, selfless, stands up for what she believes in and fights fiercely for the rights of everyone.
T-Bone, Dyno and Grudge are seriously everything you want in a RH romance. They are strong, loyal, affectionate and have a great sense of humour. Most importantly though, they love each other fiercely and are always each other’s number one priority. As much as I loved all of them, Grudge was the standout for me and has to be my favourite.
In the book, it’s been four years since Kyrie was kidnapped and four years since she has seen her rescuers. One thing was evident from the get-go and that was their instant chemistry and longing for one another. When they were finally reunited, they had absolutely no hope of staying away from each other no matter how hard they tried.
Now, I am a big MC romance lover but didn’t really know what to expect when I read this book. Sometimes going in blind is the best way to do it and I am so glad that I did. The storyline isn’t your typical MC storyline but I honestly LOVED it! I also haven’t really read a lot of books with MM scenes yet, but again, I LOVED IT!!! The smutty scenes in this book were HOTTTTTT, both MM and MMF !! There was always so much love and affection and I LOVED that!! 🥵❤️🔥
All I know now is that I want to be in the middle of the son's cuddle pile and never ever leave it 🥰
As mentioned already, Their Property is set in the same world as the Steel Demons MC. If you haven’t read it yet, don’t stress, it’s not required to read this book. I myself haven’t read it yet and didn’t have an issue, however, Steel Demons MC has been on my TBR for a while now, so I didn’t mind either way. After reading this book, I can’t wait to start it!!
Overall, I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it to you all!
Their Property is coming May 20th! If you haven’t preordered it, do it! You won’t be disappointed 🖤
Their Property is a standalone MC Reverse Harem Novel by Crystal Ash. It is set in the dystopian United States, majorly in the state of Utah and surrounding areas. It also has plot points from Norse Mythology.
It features Kyrie, a governor’s daughter and members the Sons of Odin MC, T-Bone, Dyno, and Grudge. Their Property is an adult romance which shows the story of Kyrie finding her place in an unstable land without the overprotective shadow of her father.
T-Bone, Dyno and Grudge are the Bad Boys. They are rough, and not on the right side of the law, but they are very much in love with each other and Kyrie. The slow-burn romance between the men and Kyrie can set you ablaze.
The novel does not feature a single situation. It is a journey towards establishing life as Kyrie wants it. Kyrie has to face extreme backward thoughts and corrupted authority with her men by her side, whom they have gone through torturous experiences in their past.
The world of the book is extremely unstable and violent. There are detailed mentions of kidnapping, murder, violence, and infanticide. Please look up the Trigger Warnings before reading the book.
The story highlights the hypocrisy and backwardness of the supposed elite class who control the territories. Kyrie has always been patronised because of her gender and status as a Governor’s daughter. In contrast, she finds freedom to explore herself and be the one in control later in the book.
Grudge’s backstory is an appalling tale. His childhood and even occurrences in his adulthood have left him with a limited means of communication, but the author has given him an iron-clad support system in T-Bone and Dyno.
I love the chemistry between the main characters. Their intimate scenes are literally and figuratively FIRE!! I couldn’t get enough of it. Another favourite scene was the one where T-Bone and Munin had a heart-to-heart. Read the book to find out more.
Cameo appearances of the Steel Demons MC and Chasing Death MC leave the readers wanting more. Past readers will be eager for a re-read while the new readers will make additions to their TBRs.
I was recommended The Steel Demons MC by a friend about 6 months or so ago. I instantly fell in love with Crystal's writing, her characters, and everything that comes with it. I have read nearly every book she has published, and I was so excited to join the street team for this book. I was already in love with T-Bone. When you find an author and fall in love with their writing style as much as the characters put before you, you tend to have very high expectations. Crystal has yet to let me down. I want to live inside her head. This woman is absolutely brilliant. Now to the actual book. I was sad to discover that this is a stand alone. I want MOOORE!!! Not because I feel it needed more to tell the story, I just want more of the Sons and Kyrie. The spice level is very well done, it didn't feel rushed for it being a RH Stand Alone. There was already so much tension between them in Steel demons that the foundation was already built. This was a completion to that tension. I have enjoyed the magical aspect of these stories as well. It doesn't run the show, it's just a nice little added treat. I am a huge Mythology dweeb, so this just tickles my fancy. Although I was a smidge confused about WHO the Valkyrie is to Kyrie. Although; as I'm writing this question, I am noticing that little play on words. Brilliant! I love just how fiercely these characters love each other, take care of one another. How they continually check in with the others as to their wellbeing and are constantly reassuring each other that this is real, that they are worthy of the love and affection that they are receiving. I love their love. They are an amazing "Rectouple" I hope to see more from this world. I love these characters so much. 10/10 highly recommend 5 star spice level
SO CLOSE to 5 stars! The only reason I knocked .5 off is because of the ending.
The final chapter (not the epilogue) seemed to be quite a jump. It fast forwarded 6 months, things had happened and the info was just kind of thrown at you. I feel it could have happened more smoothly. It caught me off guard, and just seemed... jumpy. The epilogue at the end was fine. Though, I feel there could have been other things added to the book to round things off better. Example: What ever happened to Malcolm? He really just let her get away and never tried to get her back? I'm surprised he didn't try to make war later. Also, did Governor Perry and his jerk of a Nephew actually die? Surely at some point people would know who survived and who didn't. Plus, despite the Valkarie never SPEAKING to her, she said that she was her mother. In the epilogue, her dad said that a warrior of a woman gave him wise advice that Kyrie had quoted to him (referring to what he used to tell her), but they never actually talk about her mom or what she was.
These aren't MAJOR points, but I was disappointed that they weren't tied up better, I guess. I almost wondered if there was a second book maybe that had answers, but there isn't.
On a more positive note, the book itself is great. I love the different characters, their back stories, their different personalities, and the whole general plot. There's always something keeping them on their toes, and Kyrie is able to generally handle herself quite well. Especially since she gets thrown into a "man's world", but doesn't let people walk all over her.
(Decided that I'd rate it 5 instead of 4 star, since the story really was great!)
I wanted more of the Sons from the moment we first met them and they are finally taking centre stage. The book is a long one but I couldn't put it down. Now I've finished it, I want Crystal to go back and write their story before they appeared in the Steel Demons series. Grudge is inevitably my favourite, bless him, but Dyno was a bit of a revelation because he was the Son we knew least about, and T-bone was just as large as life as ever but we got to see his soft underbelly (and lots of other bits of him!) too. Kyrie also appeared briefly in the Steel Demons series but was a bit of a mystery, disappearing from view in Four Corners after the Sons and the Demons rescued her four years earlier. She turns out to be a woman with hidden depths, both in diplomacy and in the bedroom. The attraction between the four of them was evident from the first and hasn't waned over the years they were apart. When they finally meet again, the air sizzles around them and all bets are off. The sex between the three Sons was off the charts hot and heavy and hardcore and then with Kyrie added in to the mix, just ramps up to a whole new level. I love the affection and love that shines though between them all too, and I want to be in the centre of a Sons cuddle pile. There is also an actual story which is pretty good as well, but let's be honest, it could have just been five hundred pages of the four getting down and dirty and I'd have been completely satisfied, nudge nudge wink wink! You can read this as a standalone but the Steel Demons is a fabulous series so I'm sure you'd love that too.
The PERFECT story for Kyrie and the Sons of Odin MC. After being introduced to them in the Steel Demon MC series, I couldn't wait for their story. However, this can be read as a standalone.
This story starts off with the FMC, Kyrie, being sent from her home (a well established territory in a post apocalyptic world) to a new territory as a political ambassador. Upon arrival, she runs into three men from her past. T-Bone, Dyno, and Grudge, the Sons of Odin MC. These men were once her saviors, and whom Kyrie crushed on hard before they left without saying goodbye fours year prior. From the intense first encounter since and throughout the story, I could not stop smiling!
Guys, the blushing and flutters were real with this one. With T-Bone, Dyno, and Grudge, you can expect high tension, MM scenes, alpha-male possessiveness, and all the love. They have a hard exterior but on the inside, they are the biggest teddy bears. I absolutely adore them.
As for Kyrie, she is amazing. She is a strong character who is selfless, helpful, and smart. She is a strong pillar for not only the Sons of Odin MC, but for the the countless number of unfortunate individuals in this new territory.
What to expect in this RH standalone is a bisexual relationship(MMMF), action, political and mythological elements, complex characters, and the best, spiciest group scenes I have ever read. *fans self*
I was so excited when Crystal announced that the Sons of Odin were getting their own book. I absolutely adored them in the Steel Demons series, where we first meet them and the heroine, Kyrie. (It’s not necessary to read that series first if you haven’t already, but I highly recommend it simply because it’s amazing.)
Kyrie is such a strong heroine. She’s not a damsel in distress, she’s fully capable of saving herself. She’s also compassionate and kind with vulnerability that makes her relatable. Dyno, T-Bone, and Grudge are everything I love in heroes. Growly, a little bit crude, but also sweet and willing to move mountains for their loved ones.
The chemistry between the characters is palpable, allowing the story to unfold organically and so beautifully. One of my favorite things about Crystal’s writing style is that nothing ever feels rushed or forced. Everything happens in a progression that feels natural, without sacrificing the plot.
The emotional range of the characters is something to be noted as well. There are moments in this book where I teared up and other moments where I laughed out loud. I may or may not have a new favorite insult. (Thanks T-Bone.)
Overall, I can’t sing this book’s praises (or Crystal’s) enough. It was so fantastic and I forsee it becoming a comfort read for me.
This was a pleasure to read! Omg! Hot spice, with pretty much exclusively group activities 👀
Ky is a young woman in a world where being a woman in itself is almost a crime (really, very different from our current reality *she said sarcastically*). She’s trying to make changes in this post-Collapse world and gain some freedom of her own as the protected daughter of a politician/ governor. Her father sends her as an ambassador to another state with three motorcycle club dudes as her bodyguards. And they guard her body alright 😉 😉 😉
I loved the guys, despite their road names, lol, esp because of how bonded and affectionate to each other they were. Yes you heard it, the guys are already in a bonded poly relationship with each other 💕
• reverse harem MMMF + MM ⚔️ • bodyguard romance • motorcycle romance • age gap • single parent • romance + cosy + loads of PDA • some paranormal elements - Norse mythology • spicy: loads of group fun • d!rty talk ON POINT 🥵 + praising • disability rep • multi pov • stand-alone • slowburn (for the MF stuff)
I really liked their dynamic in this, so nice to see bi rep, disability rep, and have this established ménage take on our main gal 😉 everything was hot and cute. Despite the dystopian setting, the story was not overwhelmingly dark.
While having conflict and such this is a easy reading, with no dramatic plot. While this is a story about Kyrie and her men, the first half of the book really focused more on the men and their relationship with each other. I didn’t really feel Kyrie had any death as a person until later in the story, when she was becoming accepted as their lover in their own group. There were times when the guys attitudes confused me, because they would go all loving and protective of her and wanting her in their group to suddenly having a moment where they pushed her away suddenly. One would think their issues with their own background would have come up sooner.
This story really pushes the lore of Odin, in a good way. I just really wish there was a bit more to it. While the rare times two people had shown signs of otherness, with a instance of rapid healing as well, I wish they would have tapped into their gifts more, especially Kyrie and her Valkyrie protector, who honestly didn’t do a whole lot. At first I was even confused by her appearance. One would think a guardian such as her would have shown prior, maybe when she was first held captive. Then she would have given Kyrie comfort and strength and be a sign of the Sons of Odin’s appearance to rescue her. It would have also tied in their connection sooner for the reader.
Lost a full star for the random as fuck plot holes like the raven and seeing a valkyrie that are never really explained.
And honestly I debated losing a full two stars but settled on one for them proposing to her. Honestly, I fucking hate that in reverse harems. It gives me the fucking icks. Like just be happy, marriage is a useless construct anyhow.
Though... Top tier smut. Holy fuck. Yes. I love slash MM scenes and this book delivered and delivered and delivered. Omg yes yes yes. Five stars for the smut alone!
I love Grudge. I wish he was more kinky though. Haha.
Also I spent the entire book until 57% calling her Kylie with an R. Until realizing it was probably pronounced as curry like VALKYRIE...
Also the epilogue and the previous chapters kind of felt like just wrap ups. I felt like it was going to go somewhere with the new Governer - actually I'm taking away another star for that. It was like a giant cocktease for a bunch of chapters about him being shifty or not and then it's like nope lol he good. It just felt like we weren't going to end the book yet and then the author was like Naw fuck this and just finished the book.
We didn't get any answers on the Odin God shit, she just randomly met the kid and he's calling her mom with no lead up, her dad just waltz back in. Like the ending was rushed and could have been better. I'm pressed about it.
My first thought after finishing Their Property: Sons of Odin MC by Crystal Ash, was this: Perfection.
This MMMF, age gap, dystopian RH stand-alone is set in the Steel Demons MC world. We met the Sons of Odon in Painless, Steel Demons MC Series Book 4 where they assisted in freeing the daughter of Four Corners governor. It's been four years since that rescue, four years since the Sons and Kyrie Vance have seen one another. That's where this story begins.
Crystal Ash takes a deep dive into who the Sons and Kyrie are at their cores. T-Bone, Dyno and Grudge are far more than a trio of murdering MC thugs. Kyrie Vance is not only the pampered and protected daughter of the governor of a thriving territory.
Ash takes apart these men, showing us what makes them tick, and when she puts them back together, they emerge fiercely loyal to one another, damaged, but willing to take a chance on bringing a fourth into their triad, willing to take a chance on the love they have for the woman they once rescued.
What made this book so enjoyable for me was the journey these characters took. Moving beyond loss, grief, abandonment and pain is not easy. We live that growth with them. These men grab the love despite their history's, the love that Kyrie freely offers. That's what makes reading Their Property perfection.
My thanks to Crystal Ash for the advance reader copy of Their Property
Crystal ash has definitely outdone herself with this follow-up story of the wonderful men from The Sons of Oden. This book can definitely be read as a standalone and not part of the series.
All I can say is I absolutely loved reading this story about these men and Kyrie Vance. We were first introduced to these characters in the Steel Demons MC series. These men, T-bone, Dino and Grudge are all that is left of the Sons of Odin MC, they have ventured out to build their MC again, but they are hired to protect the new ambassador for the Sevier Territory.
All four of these characters bring to the story excitement, lots of sexy times and an overall feel good feeling while they are trying to create a better environment for the citizens of the Sevier Territory. At first the Sons try and fight their feelings towards Kyrie and she is hurt by their indifference until they all work together and enjoy their love of each other. I would absolutely recommend this book to be read as soon as you can get your hands on it.
I was given an advanced copy of this book to read and review with my honest and fair opinion.
I have been so excited about this one since it was announced. I fell in love with them in Steel Demons MC and Their Property made me love them even more.
Kyrie has been sheltered her whole life, but now is her time to prove to herself and her dad that she can succeed on her own. Enter the Sons of Odin MC as bodyguards 👀👀
T-Bone, Dyno and Grudge are not shy about their relationship. They're very open, which is frowned upon in some places. I absolutely love their relationship and their dynamic and their dedication. They met Kyrie for the first time in Four Corners and they were drawn to her instantly, but now they have their second chance.
This book is action packed. There is drama, meeting with old characters, character growth, and spice. The spice in it is 🔥🔥🔥 (I will say that I love the guys dedication to each other when it comes to intimate times 🥺🥺🥺)
I don't want to leave this world, again. I could reread Steel Demons and Their Property over and over. There is so much detail and world building that I always find something new when reading. One of my favorite series/worlds, ever.
I had high expectations going into this book, and Crystal exceeded all of them and then some! 😍 We met Kyrie and the Sons in the Steel Demons series, and even though I will ALWAYS recommend that series, this book can be read without having read the Steel Demons. It’s a perfect spin-off standalone. We get such an in depth look into Kyrie, T-Bone, Dyno, and Grudge and what makes them who they are.(I love Grudge and he is MINE). This is set 4 years after the ending of Steel Demons, and the territories are still a work in progress. The Sons are hired to be Kyrie’s bodyguards while she ventures off to a new territory as an ambassador. They end up doing a lot more than just guarding her body 😜 There is a great story, action, and some extra hot 🔥🔥 scenes((The group scenes 🥵🥵)). We also got to see/hear about some of our favorite character’s from Steel Demons, and the book overall felt like a really cozy and spicy(lol) hug. It was everything I wanted and needed it to be!
After the steel demon epilogue book I was seriously down. I really wanted more of this world and obviously I wanted more of Grudge! This book did not disappoint. It was just the right amount of fast paced and was still able to have all the feels in the world. The collapse was the most realistic dystopia that I have ever read and man it brought so many questions to the mind. I mean what happened after the fall of the US government and how is the rest of the world dealing with it? We have small territories and MCs there but what about the other continents? Are there parts of the world prospering after the fall of this huge economy? Is China going to be an issue? SO... Yeah there were lots of thoughts going around in my head and I love books which make me question the state of their make believe world. This whole series did just that for me. I don't know how the author managed to get all of that in one book and still it felt complete. Can't wait for what's coming next from Crystal Ash because knowing her its going to be epic!
