Easy read
I love sports romance and I love the fake relationship trope and I LOVE when they're merged together. This was an easy read, loved the storyline I only wish I could have loved the execution, it had so much more potential. I rolled my eyes so much at Logan and Riley but I also laughed at their banter and wit when they were together. I found the drama that came for them a little predictable, I do recommend giving it a read yourself though.

This was actually a much sweeter story than I thought it would be. Logan is actually a sweetie under his bad-boy persona and really falls for Riley. Riley is a bit nerdish is so cute and adorable. These two have quite the chemistry together and will need to overcome some obstacles to reach their HEA - but you really want them to succeed! This story was enjoyable and entertaining to read, and is a very welcome addition to my library!

The dynamic between Logan and Riley is fantastic, with him being spontaneous and her the schedule keeper; the witty banter and the friendship that is forged with the love they find in each other. This was a new author to me and I was very pleased to read this sport romance. I enjoyed the development of the characters and storyline which captures you from the very beginning all the way to the end. The ending truly shows how much these characters have grown and influenced one another to be open, relaxed and to show that kindness towards the ones you love the most.

This had me hooked, I read the full book in one day. Logan is a hockey romance and actually involves a lot more hockey than some other novels. I loved the fact that Riley was already a fan of the team Logan played for and that she had the jersey with his name on. It also didn’t feel like the story was dragged out for too long like some others are. It is a fake dating romance as well, Riley joins an app where people bid to date her as she is in debt due to school fees and acts as Logan’s fake girlfriend to fix his reputation of being a player. It does follow the typical storyline of a fake dating romance but I loved it.

When a strong and passionate nerd meets a playboy jock, you have a story that is fun, hot and a great read. Logan needs a fake girl friend to help with his reputation. Riley lucks out and is available. Relationship grows from a friendship and blooms into something with amazing chemistry. This is a book that when you pick it up will be hard to put down. The character's development and growth just keeps adding to the adventure.

Do not read this book!!! Has tons of grammar mistakes. The whole thing felt incredibly rushed and I felt like I was reading a wattpadbook. The girl was incredibly unlikeable and shallow. *oh look at me I’m a nerd and I don’t deserve love* and in the first few chapters after no signs from the guy at all she’s like “you want to ask me out right?” SO UNLIKEABLE. The guy was all right. Mediocre white guy. Though he had a male whore past and after one sentence of his coach telling him to stop he literally settles down with a girl ???? Worst book I’ve ever read.

Holy cow, a great story. I love Riley. She is strong and determined and nerdy and awkward. I love Logan because he is so cocky and sure that he is the total opposite of what he learns he truly is. He shows so much growth. The writing is good, the story is fun and sweet and enjoyable. The characters and situations are fun. The banter is so witty and just plain perfect.

Logan playboy to the maximum, Riley a nerd working towards her dream & making her dead Aunt proud. These to meet not once by twice and their chemistry is off the charts. Riley has no time for dating & Logan has been burned one to many times to want any relationship. The story is written very nicely you get sucked in by these characters. Don’t miss this book to see what happens with this two unique characters.

Another manwhore H and near Virgin h. Points for hockey plot, dual POV, decent dialogue and under all of the drama H is really a cutie. Points against pretty predictable, what college seniors live in a dorm? and some very unrealistic scenes for hockey they were hat tricks scored like every other game they didn't know the difference in points provided to players for assists versus goals and it really annoyed me that they called the. NHL "major league"

I liked Logan and Riley’s story. She needs money and joins an app to be a fake girlfriend. However, she had already met Logan and didn’t get off to the best start.
The chemistry between them is there from the start but they do have their ups and downs. I love hockey romances and hockey in general so more on the ice scenes and hickey terms would’ve made this better for me, especially as Riley is supposed to be a hockey fan.
It was sweet, a good light read. Recommended

I really enjoyed this one!! It was more like 3.7 stars, but I did really enjoy it! I had been in a bit of a book rut, so I reread some novels that I liked, picked up a book I ended up DNF-ing, and then tried this one. So happy I did!!! It was very cute with likable characters and they had good chemistry. The spicy scenes were not as erotically charged as I usually prefer (they had an almost fade to black vibe but not??) but it was still really good!

A enjoyable start to this new series Bad Boys of Hockey series. This is a new author and I will be on the lookout for more to read. The story flows well, the characters are likeable and have amazing chemistry. What happens when something is suppose to be fake but real feelings come in to play? Looking forward to see where this series will go.

I just couldn't keep hooked, I kept wanting to fall asleep while reading this. The characters lack personality, the dual POV is a good idea but not well executed. I feel like there was no difference between the two when I was reading it.
It has a lot of good reviews so give it a try! Maybe i just need to come back to it later on.

Manwhore meets almost virgin. You get the story. Nothing original but it is surprisingly well written with good dialogue and easy to read dual pov.
However, no condoms! No safe sex talk! Really? God help me.
There's a good dose of hockey but the amount of hat tricks and goals etc for each player just didn't seem real.

This book had a great description that drew my attention right away. The execution however was very lacking. The story felt rushed and choppy, and the dialogue was very cringe worthy most of the time. It made for a quick and awkward read, and felt like I was reading an overly cheesy and wattpad story, typos and grammar issues included.

This was a great book, loved the sexual tension and the secrecy in the storyline and the twists were great too.

Great story!!!! They have a contract….he needs to clean up his reputation and she needs money to get out of debt…..but then there’s the attraction. A sexy hockey player and a nerd. Loved this book. Loved Logan and Riley together. Highly recommend this book!!!

Talk about a short book this was less than 300 pages. Overall tho it was good! The banter was cute and it even made me laugh a couple of time. Would definitely recommend as an easy filler book…plus it’s free on KU.
