Although I have a career with a new team to focus on, the spell Jemma casts is strong… and I can’t help but get myself into a little bit of trouble.
There’s just something deliciously fun about poking a beehive...

Jemma and Jack are complete opposites but what do they say about opposites? They attract. And thats what exactly happened. Jemma is a spiritual and witchy type person who is goal oriented, and Jack is a jock hockey player who is a go with the flow type. After their interaction at the bar Jemma wanted nothing to do with Jack but he was hooked and never gave up on pursuing her. Eventually Jack grew under Jemmas skin and she became attached. They had great witty moments between them. I would love to read more from the author.

He is about to start his new life, new town, new team then there is her. After just getting out of a relationship Jemma is not looking for anything. But wait look at this really hot guy with a great body, and a few things lead to a nice one night stand. well that is what she thought when she kicked him out,. Jack is not looking to focus on anything but his career but there is something about her. These two are fun, with well developed characters. Take the ride from one night stand to friends to more. worth the read. it is a pleasant escape from reality

I loved the book, hockey romance books are my new favourite reads. My other passion in life is crystals, so to get a book with both combined was amazing.
I really enjoyed the chemistry between Jack and Jemma, loved the yoga scenes too.
I enjoyed it so much I had to go and get the previous book to read and cannot wait for the next book in the series. So if like me you like a steamy read with hot hockey players and yoga instructors that live crystals, this is the book for you.

Jemma is very goal oriented, and kind of a witchy person with tarot cards, crystals, and a black cat. She also kicked Jack out in the AM after a night together. He is a jock and a easy going kind of guy. I love how they interacted the banter and the chemistry. The connection was undeniable even when Jemma tried to fight it. It was steamy and I really liked how the story flowed and the relationship evolved. I liked the journey. Great book.

Jack just move to town to start playing for a new team. Jemma just got out of a relationship and is wanting to go out. When they meet at a bar, the pull is strong, the night is hot and on fire, but Jemma is not ready for more where as Jack wants to hold on tight. This is a fun story that is perfect to lose yourself in.

Really good story. They are truly opposites, she’s a yoga instructor and very much into mystical things like incense, stones, tarot cards. He’s a rookie hockey player who doesn’t believe in that stuff. Somehow they gel but she doesn’t want to be committed. This is a good love story. Very happy to continue reading books about this hockey team, wonder whose next!!! Highly recommend this book

Just OK for me
This was just OK for me. It didn't really have any depth. Jemma was super annoying. I would have liked for the to have been more drama. Like more run-ins with the ex and her old friend. We never really got a complete story about that situation. Jemma going back and forth for nothing made ne want to just stop the book. The 1st story with Logan and Riley was way better. I hope the other stories are not as boring as this one. Jack deserved a better story.

Good read
Quirky yoga instructor meets new to town hockey rookie, dirty dancing and hot passionate night to follow...perfect meet up right? Until she kicks him out naked the next morning. High passion, commitment phobia, feet dragging and pure attraction makes this an entertaining read.

Great read
I really enjoyed this book. I loved that it wasn’t instalove- the sexual tension was instant but the relationship built slowly throughout the story.
It’s got great main characters, I loved the magical aspect to this book - stones, full moons etc.
Overall a great read.

only Jack gets the stars
I really wanted to give this 1 star, but Jack was too perfect. I absolutely loved Jack! Perfect book boyfriend. I did not like Jemma AT ALL! But Jack loved her, so I’m happy he got his HEA.

I enjoyed reading this book
Jack was the perfect hero. He was loving, caring, able to laugh at himself and funny.
Jemma was sweet and caring too but she was in her head too much.
They had both been hurt before but while Jack was willing to move forward she was too stuck in the past.
I was glad that he called her out on it and then gave her the time to figure out what she wanted but honestly i think it was unnecessary. Jack never gave a reason for her to doubt him but she still did.
It was an easy read with not much angst like the first book. Looking forward to the next

Well!!!
These two were just all over. Poor Jack...I felt so bad for him. He just wanted to love his little witch. She definitely did not make it easy for him but they got there.

I enjoyed the banter between Jack and Jemma. There were plenty of laughs and a lot of sexual tension. The universe showed is magic.

I rate this book 4.5 stars.
This was a very cute story. Jemma and Jack have such great chemistry, and was it ever steamy hot! I loved their banter throughout the story as it was sweet or sassy and always fun. It was great that the story was in dual POVs so that we know what each character was feeling and it made the novel that much more entertaining.
