Fun series!

I have enjoyed all the books in this series, great characters that overlap stories. Dean has just come off a heartbreaking reality show, still under a NDA so he limited on going back to his party life and Serena is the new hire PR manager that has to keep him in line. While Dean's hockey playing isn't quite what he want finding Serena a distraction might be the ticket. Serena has been down the road of dating a celebrity before and it didn't go well, the reason she's newly hired but she can't deny their chemistry. Taboo romance, hot hockey guys, heat and reality show drama it has it all! Very entertaining read.

I really liked this romance. Serena and Dean’s meet-up was cute, and I had to giggle at the second. Dean is a total sweetheart and is a romantic at heart though it doesn’t really seem that way at first. These two had great chemistry together, and I really felt for them both as they tried to ride the bumps of their relationship.

I received a free advanced reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my fair and honest review.

disappointed

I don’t like how Serena was never held accountable in all reality she was the cause of the breakup and should’ve been apologizing. I also don’t like that her character was made to be so weak.

So our hockey player in this book is Dean. He hits on a woman in a coffee shop who turns out to be the PR person for his team.

So Dean gets lonely in the summer while there is no hockey so he does reality TV (he did a baking show and some others) this summer he did a dating show because he genuinely wants to find love but there are already stories that he smashed up a restaurant so Serena is already doing damage control.

They flirt a little but she used to work for a boy-band and she fell for one of them but things went bad so she is cautious around Dean. They decide to try but they have to do it in secret because of the dating show he was on hasn't aired yet and if he is seen with a woman then fans of the show will know he didn't meet anyone.

The show finally airs and it shows him getting close to a woman and suddenly everyone is talking about them. Serena gets a little paranoid but i feel like Dean handled it well until she couldn't handle him been on the show anymore and basically dumps him. I'm not sure if she intended to end it for good or was just trying to put it on hold until the show finished but there was still weeks left so Dean says fine and leaves.

She thinks he should say sorry so they have this really long break up. I think she should have apologised honestly. He did nothing wrong, she got all paranoid and saw a pic from weeks before and accused him of things. But he asks her to meet him and she does and boom all there problems just go away.

There were a lot of mistakes in this book. It jumps forward a lot and we don't get anytime with them getting to know each other.

The first 3 books in this series were good but since then its like reading the same book over and over. They meet, date, break up for way longer than they should and get back together without working anything out and there's no depth to the characters or the story.

There is only one book left so ill read it with my fingers crossed its something different. If there was more than one book left i might not have bothered
