Lorraine started writing in Junior High and has written for trade books, newspapers and company newsletters. It was very good. A love story about faith and without all the gruesome sex scenes. It was light and contemporary. Easy, fast read.

This was a sweet read. We return to the town of Blessing Mississippi, where the town’s bridge brings peace and solace to the towns people. Luke McBride lives on his farm and builds beautiful furniture pieces. His past has him living the life of a loner, keeping his secret hidden. Sara Holden and her son, Jonah, have moved in with her sister and her family while Sara is between jobs. Sara and Luke work to get her sister’s shop up and running before the town’s big celebration.
Can they both overcome their pasts to find a future?

I really enjoyed this clean, Love-Inspired, Romance. I bought this at a local store and I voluntarily chose to review this book. I've given it a 4.5* rating. Both the hero and the heroine have secrets, but what will happen if anyone finds out? Some secrets stay hidden better than others. Some are meant to be shaken up. Lots to enjoy along with some feels in this story.

I rate this book 2.5. It started off good, but some of the characters were annoying. The ex was brought in the story and he just faded away again.

I loved that the characters' secrets were revealed earlier in the book and weren't what caused struggles with the relationship. The end conclusion felt natural instead of forced.
