Sienna has always been the farm's marketing specialist. But when the pumpkin patch opens for the season, attendance is unexpectedly low. Joel Kirsch is only supposed to be there installing a security system, but he wants to help. Autumn is his favorite season.
Together, they plan a last-minute fall festival to bring in extra customers. It takes a lot of work to get the word out online and schedule events for the weekend. If the festival flops, Sienna worries about what it will cost the farm and if she'll be stuck with truckloads of pumpkins in the fields.
But Joel has a secret plan to boost Sienna's sales. He hopes she isn't upset when she finds out what he worked out without her input.
Will Sienna forgive Joel for the strings he pulls and see the truth behind his actions? And will the festival be a winner or a frost-laden waste?

I really really wanted to like this book. I'm currently reading anything and everything with fall vibes and this had all the ingredients...but it just didn't work for me. The characters didn't feel real. People do not talk, think, or act like this. It's a very short book but it FELT really long and everything just kind of missed the mark for me.
This sweet romance filled with sugary delights, pumpkin spice, and everything nice charmed me. I adored the lovely romance between the kind, generous, and stoic Joel and the sweet, feisty, compassionate Sienna. Kudos to the author! Thanks to her for my ARC; All opinions are mine.
The story is the fifth in the Farmers’ Market Sisters series. They revolve around the family-owned and operated farm at Sweet Springs. Each of the seven sisters has a unique role to play in the running and success of the farm. Each story focuses on family, values, and some new changes. It is a sweet, clean, contemporary tale that makes you feel like you know the family.
Joel Kirsch’s company will be hired to install security cameras around the farm. For several years, there have been issues with someone coming and destroying so many pumpkins. Hopefully, this will stop it, or prove one way or another who the culprit or culprits are.
Sienna is in charge of the pumpkin patches, and fall festival for the farm. She is also over the marketing. With Halloween just a few months away, she is concerned about the economy and drawing people to Sweet Springs Farm.
The story’s plot will have Joel and Sienna meeting. Her father will ask her to assist Joel with his project of placing cameras around the farm, and it will also include satellite feed. There is an instant attraction between Joel and Sienna, but they don’t rush things.
“It’s easy to lose focus when there’s something new in one’s life, especially if it’s attractive and makes one laugh.”
Joel appears as a worker, down to earth and easygoing. He keeps secrets, not because they are bad, but because he wants people to accept him for him, and not what he can give them. Sienna wants to succeed on her own, but Joel encourages her to accept his assistance with her marketing and website. The more time these two spend together, the more comfortable they are around one another, joking, and even telling each other more about themselves.
Sienna: I appreciate your offer. I will consider it Just know the farm always comes first. Joel: Loyalty is important. But sometimes that drive to be loyal and independent can hurt us too. Sienna: How? Joel: Just because something is unfamiliar doesn’t mean it’s harmful. Like you said, the world is still moving on around you.
I like that things move at a slow, steady pace and they talk, and get to know each other. Joel is enjoying the down-to-earth family that supports each other and what is best for the farm. It is something that he really has never had in his life. Sienna is genuine when she thanks him and doesn’t want him to pay for things. She appreciates everything and is comfortable around Joel.
Sienna: I do like you. Between the security system and giving me advice on the ads, you’ve been good to us, to me. Joel: I want to get to know you better. You’re a blip of festive colors in my digital world. I like you too. I mean that.
What happens when Sienna learns more about Joel, who he is, what he owns, and how far he has gone to help make the fall festival a success? Will she feel it is a fluke, created because of his connections? Or, has his insight and connections been the catalyst for helping Sweet Springs and the fall festival a memorable family outing? Will Joel and Sienna discover their feelings for one another, and not let money and prestige stop them? While Joel is a self-made wealthy man, Sienna, and her family have what money can’t buy. Money can’t buy happiness or true love.
Be My Pumpkin is a book full of twists and turns just like Sienna's corn maze. When Sienna's father decides he needs a security system for his farm, Cam tells him of Joel. Joel showed up in his hatchback car and put up the cameras and a new entry gate and put the feed onto the computer in the parent's home. For some reason her father keeps asking Sienna to help Joel as she is smaller than her sisters and he needs someone to both climb up a ladder and screw in the remaining screws. Then Joel wanted to take a walk and talk to Sienna. Her sister's said the look on his face was pure infatuation for Sienna. She didn't believe it but he kept meeting her at the Farmers Market on Saturdays or when he saw the bully from her high school in her pumpkin patch. The pumpkin patches were her income to help out on the farm. She also made a pumpkin themed recipe book to sell during their month long Halloween party each weekend in October. She was trying to figure out something new to do this year to sell more pumpkins. With a few suggestions from Joel and a little magic touch, the event became the Halloween Festival.
Joel gets calls and has to run off when they are together. She only knows he is super smart and works for a software company and a security company on the side. And Sienna never digs in to his private life. With all the kindness and the way he looks at her she starts falling for Joel too. But on the morning before the opening of the Halloween Festival there are cars parked waiting to come in. Then she is told to look at the news on her phone and there is a reporter just outside the gate telling about the event. When they come inside Joel tells the reporter it is Sienna's work and she tells them why they do this each year and that this is a self sustaining farm and it has been here for a century in their family. The very thing that she wanted everyone to know. Joel tells Sienna a secret about his background and she gets mad. He leaves. She talks with her sisters and she goes to his house to talk to him. Can she get him back? And since he helped with vamping up the festival will be even get to help her with it as they had planned?
I received an advanced copy to read for my honest opinion. I give this book 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟!
Wrapped up with You This Christmas - This story was going so well until the cabin. Why she flip-flopped and attacked is beyond me, stupidity? A sweet second chance to let the other know about their love for them Interesting characters and almost good story lines. 4*
Be My Pumpkin - One of the Farmers Market series, which is my first read by this author. Fun. Entertaining. Nice characters. Good story lines. Did not put the book down until I finished the last page. A sweet romance between two deserving characters. 4*
Decked With Love, #6 - A sweet, heartfelt story with plenty of love and God's good grace. Melody follows the gospel of Christ Jesus daily but especially during the Christmas holiday. Tucker shares her beliefs and has many good, loving surprises for her. Interesting information about raising Christmas trees. 5*
Sugar Pine Holiday - I apologize but I cannot read this book finished and I made it to the 50% mark. I dislike Ava and she did not change my opinion half way through the book. Her reasoning is stupid and her rudeness inexcusable. Maybe it is her culture, going by the family names and her actions, Soviet? The other characters are good. Cade is a champ and I understand his job and location makes him friendly, even with unlikeables like Ava. Based on Ava, this is a one star, but everything else brings it up to a three star. And I enjoy the books by Ms. Strife. 3*
I loved the cozy fall atmosphere this story had, it really got me in the Autumn mood. It was a fast read, but it did have a lot of good points, I actually think the story may have been a little too quick for my liking. I wanted to explore the setting more and really feel the slower, comfortable mood of fall. But, it did have all of the lovely aspects of fall that I wanted.
We jump right into the story and see the romance fairly early on. Details start coming in to give us a complete picture of who each of them are and how they would work so well together. I really would have loved if this was a little longer so the relationship could have been developed a bit more. I enjoyed seeing them interact with each other, but I wanted a few more moments with the family as a whole.
Ultimately, it was a really cute story that can be read in one sitting. The romance was lighter than I was expecting, but it worked so well with these characters. It was a clean and rather wholesome story, as the rest of the books have been. I can't wait to see what happens with the next 2 sisters.
I received an ARC of this book from the author, and I voluntarily left this honest review.
This is a fun Fall short-read, and in the middle of the Farmers Market Sisters series about seven sisters working a 100 year old heritage family farm in Oregon.
Each sister has her specialty niche and Sienna's is the pumpkin patch, the fall festival and (like it or not) marketing. But pumpkin smasher have been destroying a significant part of her crop, and thereby her profits. This year the weather was exceptionally good for pumpkins.
Will the new electronic security system installed by the attractive, handsome computer geek be enough to save the fall festival? Or will his attention be too much of a distraction for Sienna?
I received an ARC copy of this story from the author via BookFunnel and voluntarily chose to share my review.
Really enjoyed the next installment in the farmer's market sisters This is Sienna's story. She does all the advertising for the family farm, she also grows and sells the pumpkins. They are trying to organise an event on the farm, but she is not getting any responses online. She is getting frustrated. She meets Joel when he comes in to sort out the security system for her father and they instantly click. Joel helps her with her event planning. There is something he has not told her and when she finds out she is not happy. Read their sweet love story to find out how they get to their happily ever after. All the family is there as always supporting each other which i love.Cannot wait for the next sister's story😁 I was given an ARC of this book by the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book wasn’t spicy it was centered around the Fall season. This story is about a young woman named Sienna. Her family owns a farm. She is the marketing specialist.
When she opens the pumpkin patch attendance is surprisingly low. Her family hires a young man named Joel to set up security cameras. He also wants to help Sienna. They plan to work in a Fall festival at the farm to bring in more customers. Sienna and Joel started becoming friends. Joel started liking Sienna after spending time together. I would have liked if Joel and Sienna had gone on a date around the farm and I wouldn’t have minded a little spice 🌶.
This book was cute and a perfect read for the Fall season. I am glad that I read it.
This was another fabulous return visit to Sweet Springs Family Farm where Sienna follows her path to finding romance and mystery among the pumpkin patches!
Joel is quite a hidden character where not much is revealed but over the story, some of his layers are peeled back. Maybe just not as deeply opened up as previous main male characters in this series have been.
Highly recommend this visit to the farm and look forward to rest…especially Azalea’s story!
This series is best read in order as characters from previous books will reappear throughout the rest of the series.
Received this as an Advanced Reader Copy and this is my own opinion.
Sienna is the youngest of the seven sisters running the farm. She is in charge of the pumpkins as well as the overall marketing of the farm. She comes into the house one day and there is a man in her father’s office. His name is Joel Kirsch. Joel is there to set up satellite service as well as setting up a security system. Sienna is excited because improved service will help her with the internet side of the marketing.
What happens when Joel volunteers to help Sienna with the marketing? What happens when Sienna finds out who Joel really is?
I received this book as an ARC copy and fell in love with the characters.
I liked this heartwarming love story for the O'Leary's youngest daughter, Serena and Joel, the guy hired to install a security system at the farm. Serena is in charge of the pumpkin patch and marketing for their crop sales and the October festival. After Joel meets Serena, he does whatever he can to help Serena and her family increase their sales and to catch the person responsible for some vandalism to Serena's pumpkins. The characters are likeable especially Joel. Even though he is very wealthy, he doesn't flaunt it. I highly recommend this clean romance with a HEA ending. I received an ARC and this is my voluntary and honest review.
A sweet, wholesome, charming story addition to the Farmer's Market Sisters series.
Sienna, responsible for the pumpkin patch and marketing, meets Joel as he helps to enhance internet service and security. The two work so well together to provide a Halloween festival to create memories for lots of families.
It was such fun to read, to watch the relationship grow, and also see how the sisters really work together and supporting each other. I truly love this series!
I was provided an advance copy and I heartily recommend this book to anyone who loves a good, comfortable-feeling story.
I read this book in one sitting. Sienna, lives on the family farm and takes care of her pumpkin patch and also the marketing for the farm. Joel, unbeknownst to Sienna, owns the firm that her dad has hired to provide better security and internet service to the farm. As the days go by, Joel always seems to be around when Sienna needs him, especially with help for the fall festival. Joel and Sienna grow close, but will it last? This story was enjoyable to read, especially with all the dynamics of the seven sisters.
I love the books about the Farmers' Market Sisters. There are seven sisters who are finding their HEA one at a time.
This story centers on Sienna. A security guy, Joel, has been hired to set up security and cameras at Sweet Springs Family Farm. Sienna's father asked her to help Joel get the parts mounted.
They started spending quite a bit of time with each other. Would anything come of it? He told her something about himself that really upset her. Would that cause the end of something that could have been?
I received a free ARC, and this is my honest opinion.
This is a sweet small town story. Sienna and Joel will grab your heart and hold it hostage!! He helps her market her Pumpkins in a year that seem rather slow, but they grow closer, beyond just the pumpkins! He was originally at the farm to do some work for her father. This is a nice CLEAN book!! no profanity or sex!! which is something I wish people would warn about!! I couldn't put this book down!! read it from cover to cover!! didn't get much sleep! :) I highly recommend this book!! and am looking forward to more!! I received an ARC copy for an honest review.
This was a fun book set at the Sweet Springs Family Farm in Oregon, where seven sisters helped to run their parent's farm. I liked that this book focused on Sienna who is responsible for growing pumpkins and helping to get families to come to their pumpkin festival. It was interesting to meet Joel and learn more about him as he tried to help Sienna in so many ways. I enjoyed the romance between these two characters that are so opposite each other. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
A heartwarming story that shows how core values, family love, and faithful stewardship of the land make endearing and lasting memories for Sienna and Joel. Sienna and Joel learn to bring out the best in each other, as they discover ways to maintain a productive and successful fall festival. Be My Pumpkin shares fun family farm traditions and the joy and happiness a simpler life can bring. Being humble and kind, building confidence, respecting independence, and pushing through hardships will reap rewards in the long run.
Sienna grows pumpkins on the O’Leary family farm. She worries that they are not getting enough people to come out. Joel is at the farm to put new software and a security system in place. I really love this family and enjoy getting to know each sister. They are each one unique in their own way. Also like the dynamic between Sienna and Joel.
I was given this advanced copy for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.
Another great story of the O'Leary sisters. Sienna has everything fall...pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and pumpkin spice everything. And Joel is right there to help, especially when things start going wrong in the pumpkin patch. He has a few secrets that Sienna might not like but he's willing to take that chance in order to help her pull things together in time to save the Fall Festival. Will she fall hard enough for him that a few little hidden things won't matter?
Loved it from start to finish! Great family traditions instilled from a very young age. Sienna loved growing various kinds of pumpkins, many that I’ve never heard of, to being responsible for creating a festival. Joel helped in installing computer equipment/cameras to help keep an eye on the family farm. Of course, there’s more to the storyline, but you’ll have to read it for yourself. A delightful read.
I haven't liked the way the author has written any of the sisters in this series. They come across as snotty and condescending to anyone who doesn't live on a farm & their way of life. Sienna, in particular, was socially awkward who seems to look down on anyone who is different than her. She's got no friends outside her family and treats Joel pretty poorly. I don't see them as a good couple at all so didn't really care about their story much. Not a great fall story.
Another lovely story in the series. I really enjoyed this one. Joel and Sienna have a lot going for them. I loved how he was "there" for her every time. They both seemed to need what each other brought to the situation. A lovely, warm, sensitive and caring story. Loved it. The ending is good too. I especially appreciated the constructive way Laredo was dealt with. Shows grace.
Sienna and Joel make a lovely couple addition to this series. Great characters and a plot that just keeps you reading. I loved the paintball scene. The family solidarity brings out all the right feelings. Entertaining story. I received a free copy of this book and this is my voluntary, honest review.
Sienna O'Leary wants to make the fall festival on the family farm a success. But she needs the help of Joel Kirsch's tech security to find the Pumpkin Smashers. I really enjoy this series about the O'Leary sisters finding love while saving the farm traditions. I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily offering my honest review.
This book made me long for hot chocolate, a sweatshirt, bonfire with smores and of course a corn maze. Sienna and Joel meet, and sparks fly but it seems to take a while for things to turn romantic. Liked seeing them work together and her coming out of her shell especially with her family. Sweet story.
Be My Pumpkin is a sweet, heartwarming, small town romance. I devoured this book all at once. Joel and Sienna really captured my heart. I loved how Joel was always there to lend a helping hand. I enjoyed watching Sienna really step up and take her place with her sisters. This well written book will make you long for cooler weather, pumpkin pie. hot chocolate and more!
When I started the book, it was a bit slow for me, but it picked up soon after and was a very interesting read. It was really nice, with quite a bit of fun parts, and I'm glad I didn't drop it while it was slow. I'd recommend reading the book.
I got an ARC on BookFunnel, and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Allow most of a day for this family-friendly, sweet mystery romance as 19-year-old Sienna O'Leary tries to make a go of her pumpkin patch in Sweet Springs despite the machinations of the pumpkin smashers. I had an ARC via Bookfunnel and this is my voluntary review.
Be My Pumpkin by Elysia Lumen Strife – This was a sweet Halloween romance even if it was a bit cheesy at times! Raising 7 girls and running a farm must have been a crazy undertaking! Happy Hallow Reading!
