I have spent quite a bit of time trying to find contact info for this author without success. My issue is that, while i enjoy her books which are in the main well-researched, errors abound in them. Ok maybe she can't afford a good proofreader/editor knowledgeable in these areas, and i've pointed out a lot of her errors mainly in her astrological series, but some errors in this book are monumental. I won't point out any of the proofreading or confusing errors (well one sticks in my mind - 'not even science can't explain it', - but factual errors. My highlights have all disappeared so i will have to rely on memory. She stated the following: 4 is the first prime number which is crazy, a prime number can only be divided by itself and the number 1. 4 can obviously be divided by 2. the sums of consecutive prime numbers always equals another prime number with the examples of 3+5=8, 17 +19=36. This product of both these additions does not equal a prime number, 8 and 36 can be divided by other numbers. The pyramid at Giza is a 3 sided structure whereas it has a square base producing 4 sides, so has 4 sides plus the base Some argue the upside down pentagram should not be used to denote satan as it's an inverted form of the star of David. the star of David has 6 sides not 5. The reason i remember these points days after finishing the book is because i was raving about them to my partner in the morning after i read the book. I cannot give a good rating, even though there WAS good info in there too, these errors are unforgivable. Sorry Mari, but you need a good editor!

I really liked the history and significance of the different shapes and symbols that we find in our lives. The book looks into the connections of how shapes and symbols are important in diverse cultures and makes you think about the shapes that are so common to us and how it has a different meaning to other cultures even within the same country. This is another great addition to my mystical library.

This is just okay. I see her books everywhere and generally avoid them as they seem like she just pumps them out on any topic, but this was in the library on audio and it's short but it was still a slog. TBH I noped out around 3/4ths of the way through because I felt I learned what I needed and there was misinformation about Judaism which made me think some of the other research could be sloppy as well, my general feeling about her books being everywhere etc. It's okay for what it is I guess.
Absolutely brilliant! When you think of geometry, you go back to high school angst, but in this book, you´ll only find your curiosity soar. I was inspired to research more and more and be surrounded by this incredible knowledge. It´s a joy to surround myself with so many open doors, from drawing Platonic Solids to wearing the right crystals. A must read!
Mari Silva did an excellent job compiling the history of numbers into this book. Numbers have always played an important part in our everyday life. I found the book interesting and chaulked full history.

Does the author actually write these books / are they based on their own research or knowledge base? There are so many errors that are written about in detail that it reads like something written by early AI.
