I wasn’t a good person. But I wasn’t bad either. I knew that. Sometimes I caused trouble, and sometimes it came looking for me. I’m not saying that to make you feel sorry for me. You shouldn’t. I saw everything coming, and I allowed it to happen. I wasn’t naïve or careless. I wasn’t a victim. I was a deer staring at the headlights, and I paused to admire the ethereal glow – mesmerized – uncaring about the collision that was about to take place. It would cost me everything.

Well, I have to say that this one was an intriguing gem, to say the least...
I was interested in the further development of the story and yeah, I knew from the start that this was not your ordinary romance, and you can't really call it that, at all, come to think of it...LOL
Still, I was intrigued till the very end and I got surprised by the ending too, which is a rare thing. So, a plus for that! I didn't really like any of the characters, LOL, to be completely honest, but they kept me in there...and that's a first too...
My God, so many firsts...LOL
I didn't like the long pages, though...I just had to break the reading process at times...but all in all, this was an interesting thiller/action/drama thing...and I liked it!
Teenage obsession and lies that follow you. Things are never what they truly seem. The ride takes you to many tangled lives and sins of the family, obsessions and lust that makes one do crazy things. What a great twist of fate in the end. Made the reader want more.
I liked it. I just think the ending was rushed. It spent so many chapters building up to an ending that was all over the place. Then they wrapped it up in a few pages. I was confused while reading the ending.
I'm not sure I really like this story. It got so confusing with Hazel's part put into the story to early. I get that Jameson had affairs with his students etc.... It ended alright, just kinda sad that Sadie had to die in the end!! Maybe if I re-read it later on; I'll have a better understanding of this story. I plan to do this closer to the end if the year!!
