'Fox Under the Moon' artwork series is for all ages. It is inspired by the simplicity of everyday life, and the complicated emotions that go with it. Through my artwork you will meet an anxious, but inquisitive fox and the wise old moon. The two become friends, and I hope that their warm and whimsical world can bring some encouragement and love to yours.
The most beautiful artwork accompanies the most heart-wrenching and soul-healing little story. This is a tale that will appeal to all ages and those from all walks from life, and as you are on different stages of your own personal journey this will have something new to offer you, that didn't make itself known before.
I was gifted this book while I was going through some deep painful times. I love both foxes and the moon, and I thought the illustrations were beautiful. Although I think the overall messages in the story are useful and could be helpful, they felt oddly disjointed, forced, and/or repetitive, which did make it harder for me to take to heart during my sad/depressive/painful days.
I also wish I hadn’t read the author’s thanks to their support network at the very end, because it can be even harder to take to heart the words of someone who seems to have a happy life without actually knowing what hardships they have faced. I do not doubt that they probably have faced plenty of challenges in their life, but in the emotional state I was in when I read the book, I found it ruined what little comfort that I gained from reading the story.
A beautiful little story that reads more like a little book of messages on dealing with life.
This book will no doubt draw many comparisons to The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse and that is no bad thing. Both books are equally important and beautifully executed in their goal of delivering mental health care to the masses.
This book aims to share a message of positivity, self love, encouragement and happiness. It also tells us something that at times is more important. That sometimes, it's okay to not be okay. And that after every dark night comes a bright morning.
Lovely drawings and a heartfelt story all add up to this being a worthy read to everyone of all ages.
I bought this book a few months ago after seeing a Facebook post with an image from it but when I arrived I flicked through it, thought it was good then put it aside. Tonight I'm really struggling, grieving for my cat who died recently, and picked it up again and actually really READ it. The words inside have really helped soothe me and I shall definitely read it again when I need reminding that it's OK not to be ok, and things can change for the better.
Really beautiful life affirming statements set within stunning artwork. I loved it. Will pick this up and read it again whenever I need reassurance that life is an adventure full of ups and downs but in the end I will be ok. Lovely ❤️
