Lowfat Cooking for Dummies has some valuable information, but most of it is all condensed in the first couple chapters. Beyond that, the book is a font of such useful advice as the suggestion of using lowfat or nonfat dairy products to cut the fat in your diet. Not bad advice, but it's definitely very high on the 'Well duh!'scale. If you're interested in cutting fat in your diet, I'd suggest that you read the first two chapters while in the bookstore, then leave it behind. Later chapters include such useful advice as how to properly make a peanut butter and tomato sandwich.
