Honestly drop what you are doing and buy this chaotic book! I couldn't put it down and if I HAD to, I found myself thinking about it.
Dark Siren follows Del an eighteen year old with a traumatic past. She is just wishing to graduate high school and disappear. One night during a party, Del is trying to escape from, she bumps into a handsome and devilish stranger, Enzo. And this is where the chaos begins!
Del our FMC.. has a smart mouth, is plus size, strong as fvck, smart, has a traumatic past that brings out the darkness in her, and just really all around bada$$. Seriously if I were Del I wouldn't survive. But she is a SURVIVOR!
Enzo our MMC.. is completely gorgeous! And is The Devil incarnate. He is smart and calculating. And just an all around imposing figure. He also has a traumatic past. And literally will do anything for our FMC. He doesn't try to change or fix Del, instead he embraces her darkness. I am such a SIMP for this man.
The side characters... I want to be Scar when I grow up just saying. The one part in the book, even though it was implied.. still when you read it 🔥🥵 I don't even want to go into more details because I want no spoilers for you all. And for Matteo, Enzo's brother, yes please! I will take me one of those. He is charming, a demon (not like a real demon but you know what I mean), and hilarious.

I had the pleasure of being selected to read an ARC for this book and it did NOT disappoint!
Dark Siren is a mafia, age-gap romance with some strong trigger warnings. As always, please read trigger warnings! 💜 This book was my first experience with mafia romance and if they are all like this give me more!
Both the MCs are broken, tortured souls who find solace in the arms of each other, despite challenges along the way. Del (FMC) has a dark and horrific past that as readers we learn bits and pieces of throughout the book, getting more glimpses into her psyche. Enzo (MMC) is "the Devil" incarnate with a soft spot for the broken Del. The cast of side characters is varied yet their personalities all shine through and blend into a beautiful tapestry of humans that create this book.
The plot of this book was great! The last few chapters had me legitimately shaking, heart pounding in my throat with anxiety over what was going to happen. And the ending had me immediately screaming for more! (Don't worry there will be more.)
I would absolutely recommend this book, even to mafia romance newbies like myself!

ARC REVIEW
Ok first of all, I’m still processing that ending, so this review might be all over the place. This was a rollercoaster of a story, Enzo is unhinged, possessive and intense, just like I like my book boyfriends. Del is such a badass in her own way and right, I loved her. Both characters are complex, and it shows in their relationship which is filled with ups and downs, it’s basically a toxic train wreck and it was perfectly unhinged! I need more of them! And can we talk about the spice??? It was HOT!!!
Cass’ writing is amazing, it’s a great balance between describing the environment enough that you can easily visualize it, at the perfect time, and dialogue and plot! Its simple, straight to the point and easy to read!
If you’re into unhinged characters, age gap, mafia romance and badass female leads, this book is for you! Read the trigger warning at the beginning, the FMC went through a lot!

Can I just say ... MY HEARTTTTTT.
I have a new favourite FMC, and her name is Del. She's funny, strong, dark, incredibly raw and I love her. She is one of those characters that really hits close to home and it just felt so good seeing someone like her not just lighting up the page but utterly dominating it. When I read this I instantly connected to her, and that feeling was indescribable.
Cassandra has a way of writing that wraps you up in the very heart of the story, swaddling you in all the feels. I felt so connected to the story throughout that I never wanted to stop reading.
I haven't stopped raving about this book since reading it; it's all the things I want my dark romances to be. Ridiculously sexy, hella traumatic and a sprinkling of intrigue for good measure. I'm so in love with this book and can tell that, regardless of the dark themes, it's going to be a comfort read for me.
Please check trigger warnings and read safely - the author makes it very clear at the beginning of the book that there are themes and issues that won't be for everyone.

Wow. Just… wow. This is actually my first mafia romance and let me tell you… this was amazing. I was given an E-ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. This story starts off with glimpses into our FMC, Del’s, traumatic background and what gives her nightmares and so many reasons to not trust a soul. But then she meets the MMC, Mr Herrington and GODDAMN. Enzo can get it. He’s a lot older than Del but she’s had to grow up a lot faster than most people her age. They meet in an entirely unconventional way and are toxically drawn to each other after that. There’s the need to possess and control from Enzo and Del, both. She’s not a quiet submissive type. She doesn’t do as she’s told but he can’t get enough of her and wants to be in her soul. Just like she wants his. He’s the only man who’s felt like home. In all of this is a crazy underworld of a big city that Del is much more connected to than she ever realized and Enzo runs the whole show.
Godddd I want to be like Del. Talk about a strong af FMC. She has been through it and has come out feeling like a shell of a person until she meets Enzo and with all of their fighting and control issues and confusions about what they really want… he brings out the real her. The strong and kinda scary side of her that just flourishes. This story was so incredibly written and the trauma and anger and depth of these characters was felt deeply. It is one of those books that is hot af and heavy as hell. I needed a break in the middle because it made me feel so hard and built up some inner anxiety for the characters and their situations. In the best way though. 500 stars.

Thank you Cass for letting me be apart of your Beta Team! Dark Siren was an incredible read and I cannot be convinced otherwise that she could write a single bad thing.
This is mafia romance done completely right, it was a book I was unable to put down the moment I picked it up. It is the cause for 2 sleepless nights and a very grouchy mom in the morning. Del is our plus size FMC and she is a powerhouse to say the very least - she has deep dark secrets that pull you under the moment you open the book. How she survives her trauma is unknown to me but I want to be her friend in every way. She has only one focus - to finish school and disappear, hopefully the night terrors she has goes along in the disappearing as well.
Disappearing is hard once our MC Enzo Herrington sets his eyes on her. This man is sin wrapped in a tailored suit and I cannot in my right mind say the things I want to do to him here... use your imagination for sins sake! His nature is as brutal as his want is for Del.
Cass does an incredible job at exploring darker themes, making you fall in love or extremely hate each of the characters she introduces you too. I found myself swooning or screaming at the characters within DS. There are a few twists that I didn't expect and I so badly cannot wait to experience the world of Vicious Games series again.

This book was nothing short of amazing. In my top five of the year (and so is her other book)! At this point, she could write a grocery list and I would rate it 5 Stars! 😂
The characters and the plot were both just so spot on! If you love a good dark mafia romance, this is 10000% for you! Del is such ana amazing, bad ass character who you really get behind and root for. Anyone who wronged her, I was ready to fight!
Enzo is just one hot mafia man! So much touch her and you die energy (literally 😉)!
The descriptions in the book we also so amazing. The details on the scents and how everyone was dressed. Delphine is very stylish if I do say so myself! 😂

I legitimately have no words. The sheer amount of raw emotions and trauma that gives way to an epic dark love story… STANDING OVATION! Del is one amazing and strong FMC and I found myself in her in more than one instance. She lived through all that trauma. She lived. She didn’t give up when she could have. Enzo… sweet merciful…. CAN WE TALK ABOUT ENZO?!?! He’s dangerous, sinful, morally dark, and just insane enough to become addicted. He brought Del back from the brink more than once. “You’re safe with me.” I MELTED!!!! I adore Scar and he snarky bubbly personality, her and Del’s relationship is so so special. The found family in this book is everything! But if I didn’t wanna smack you with my kindle Cas! What was that ending?!?! Over all… one of the top books I’ve read this year. Enzo is now in one of my top 5 book boyfriend spots. Can not wait to see what happens next.

buckle up cause it’s a wild ride!
First, I have to say I devoured this book and didn’t get any sleep because I couldn’t stop reading. While reading I was able to transport myself to whatever situation they were in and feel like in a movie- that’s how good her writing is.
Cass built the characters in an easy to follow, understand, and fall in love with way.
I had been clutching my imaginary pearls and holding my breath from the first chapters, what a rollercoaster! You will be sucked in and wrapped up in this amazing story that is also full of spice, and the good type.
🧜🏻♀️ Del comes from a troubled and horrible past that has led her to shy away from many things. When she meets Enzo everything changes and she discovers so much about herself.
👸🏻 I love Scar and she’s the perfect friend, specially for for our girl Del, her violent tendencies are top!
🫅 Teo is a handsome troublemaker who loves picking on his brother, he creates a great bond with Del and Scar. He might be sweet sometimes but he’s also dangerous.
Enzo … you will love him and will want him right next to you! Oh how I have loved that man.
We can definitely categorize this as a One-Hand-read, IYKYK.
I loved this book and cannot wait to read more about this story and check my list of theories of what’s to come, but also I’m looking forward to enjoying more from Cass.

The MMC, Enzo has everything us dark lovers need in a love interest. He’s intense, intelligent, and a bit sick. His cold exterior is only softened by one thing: his Siren.
Del, oh man, where to start with this FMC. She is closed off and hardened by the world and her past trauma. She wants to be good for everyone in her life who loves her, but deep down she knows that she isn’t good. She’s strong, a survivor by every definition, and she has more capacity for love than she gives herself credit for. It’ll just take a few dates with the devil for her to realize it.
These two go on a real journey as the underworld of Melbourne churns, both caught up in the war and their feelings.

Damnnnnnn! Best book I’ve read in a long time! Full of LOTS of heat and comedy! Del is amazing, Scar is amazing, they are all amazing! Love the nicknames too!

I knew a little about this story going in but it is so far and above what I was expecting.
Enzo now holds my soul in his hands alongside Del’s.
Please make sure you read the trigger warnings. This is a very dark book with dark themes.

Cassandra, dark romance is your call, your destiny 🖤. We need more of it. This books has everything, dark mafia themes🖤 even darker romance⛓️, an interesting story and really likeable side characters. This is an age gap romance which I’m usually not a fan of unless the dude is 500 year old fae. But I actually really enjoyed it here because the MC is very adult for her age.
The tension and the spice had me squealing especially some of the kinky scenes 😮💨👋🏻, i love Enzo. That man could do anything to me. Especially in a church 👀 Speaking of...the church scenes oh my god! I would start going to church again if it came with THAT instead of mass.
If you want a dark mafia romance this is the perfect book to get lost in and binge over a couple of days.

Noooooooooo... No puedo con ese final... con la muerte de Mateo con lo bien que me caía =(
La historia está genial se lee enseguida y no te aburres en ningún momento y te gustan los personajes, bueno... menos la madre de la protagonista y el padrastro claro que son los malvados de la historia aunque los demás sean criminales y mataron gente, pero en la historia te encariñas con ellos
Vaya sorpresa, bueno no, yo ya sospechaba que el padrastro estaba involucrado en las cosas que salían
mal, con las drogas era él, lo que si no estaba segura era quien era si Adrián o un tercero como creían todos, pero al final descubrimos que era Adrián
Me encanta los momentos que tuvieron en todo el libro los protagonistas lo que sí me cabreaba era cuando Enzo la alejaba y luego le echaba la culpa a ella porque escapaba, pero siempre fue él al poner paredes o distancia entre ellos. I enjoyed this book and I read it in one day!
It was 🥵🔥
Enzo was delicious. The pace was solid. I loved the multiple POV. The plot was intriguing.
I didn’t love that the FMC was still in high school (18 in her final year) but it wasn’t enough to deter me from continuing to read it.
The age gap was still 🫡
I’m excited for more books in the series!

First off, congratulations to Cassandra B. Andreucci on Dark Siren! Thank you so much for the e-ARC. I need book 2 yesterday!
Andreucci brought the heat, big d!ck energy, and fvck you energy. Dark Siren was both delicious and engrossing to read. The pacing was just right, not too slow, and not too fast. Not once did I find myself distracted.
I was very attached to the characters; they did not blend in the background. Each brought their own personality and owned it. Del and Scar are a powerhouse of best friends/sisters! It was refreshing and intoxicating to watch Del lean into her dark side and how both she and Enzo revel in each other’s “sins” all while being emotionally available and fiercely supportive of one another.
Dark Siren is a MUST read, especially if you enjoy:

I was given an eArc in exchange of an honest review.
Lets start with the fact that this book was amazing! It had me on chokehold by the start and I was unable to put this down. I devoured this story in less than 24 hours. And I'm already contemplating a reread.
I loved that our FMC Del is plus size, incredibly strong, smart and absolutely badass! And that smart mouth on her. Damn.
Enzo, oh Enzo. I have more feels than words about Enzo our MMC, but damn. What a man. He's the hot Devil incarnate, morally grey (or pitch-black) man who you'll never want to fix, you just embrace his darkness and dive into it.
I loved especially the fact that we don't get a story where love of good woman or man makes the other person want to be better and try to be more. We get the story where people are accepted just the way they are, where no one tries to fix another, but they revel and embrace each other’s darkness. That's the real magic in here.

This book is simply divine! Cass has done a beautiful job with the characters, the plot to spice ratio is perfectly done!
Del is a dark little trauma baby with a soft spot for her bestie Scar and her parents. I adore the banter between these two girls, and Scar is definitely the sunshine to Del’s grump!
Del meets Enzo, the devil incarnate, at a church where she’s gone to escape a party Scar dragged her to. And let me just say, if you don’t have a church kink before reading this book, you most definitely will afterwards 🥵
Enzo’s brother, Matteo, is everything a little brother should be, he’s a sh*tstirrer, funny, flirty and a little bit dangerous and alot protective of the ones he loves.
Del is dragged into the Mafia underworld of Melbourne and is quite literally being fought over by two warring Mafia families.
That gut wrenching ending combined with the surprise visit from a ghost of Del’s past is just epic. I am barely hanging in for book #2.

I was giggling kicking my feet at this man slaughtering people for her.
I was SAT this entire book, bascailly read it all in one sitting. This man is so criminally insane it’s cute! This book will forever be one of my favourites and Cassandra is a new favourite author of mine!, immediately reading the next book: Broken Songbird.

This story captivated me from page one! I adored both our MCs, and it was a PERFECT balance of spice and plot! Thank you Cassandra for this masterpiece!

Um… definitely a different type of love story
I don’t even know what to think right now. I guess I’ll start with the basics since I’m still processing. This is a new to me author and the storytelling hooked me from the beginning. It was so compelling that I refused to stop reading and woke up with my Kindle in my hand. I have mixed feelings regarding the MMC. Did I like his OTT J/P behavior? Yes, I did. Was he an alphahole with the aura of danger oozing off him like a pheromone? Yes, he did. I have issues with the age gap. But, the MFC did act in a way that suggested she was older than she was based upon her maturity. I think it was due to her childhood trauma that caused her to grow up faster than she did. The ending just kind of left on a cliffhanger and I feel like I will have to read the next book (covering a different couple) to get some closure. However, I need some sappy billionaire romance to clear my head before I dive into that one, which I will do immediately because I need to know what happens.
This is a dark romance and therefore are some topics and scenarios that may be triggering or difficult to read such as the following:
Explicit sex scenes, Violence, blood & murder, Depictions of domestic & child abuse, allusions to child sexual abuse (this is off scene but the MFC has reoccurring nightmares, flash backs & panic attacks due to recalled memories of the abuse she endured), Depictions of a toxic relationship, Mentions of abortion, Harassment, bullying & body shaming (not by the main couple), Drug use, Blasphemy, desecrating a place of worship, Kink-related activities, including but not limited to impact play, use of knives & bondage.

This is a dark mafia romance that comes with a very thorough trigger warning.
There were a few things that I really enjoyed from this novel but the one that really stands out is the main character Del.
Del is a beautiful woman but strays from the usual heroine you see in a lot of romance novels (especially Mafia romances). While I know there is a sub-genre specifically for this type of heroine, this book is not marketed (for lack of a better word) as having an alt-lead.
She's just a regular woman who comes in one of the many regular sizes that women have. Obviously, her physical attributes come in to play during the story but it is background noise compared the rest of the depth that is given to us about this character. Her attitude, drive, desires and past all outweigh this part of her. It was refreshing.
I do have to give the author credit for writing a taboo romance and handling some of the more delicate themes very well and as respectfully as you can.
While I wish there had been more focus on the actual business side of the mafia theme, I expect we'll see more of this in the books to come.

If you are a fan of taboo romances, mafia romance and/or churches (or even if you don't like churches) this book is for you.

Del is such a badass. I really loved that she was broken and still strong. So often you see the FMC painted as weak because of her trauma but not this girl. She had strength through the entire book and I honeslty want Del to be my bestie cause swoon <3
Now let's talk about Enzo...dear lord Daddy Enzo can set me of fire. From the second he shows up on the page I couldn't get enough. Him and Del are combusitble and I just sat back and enjoyed every second.
I cannot wait for more from this world.
