It may be because this is written by an American but it is the poorest written book with the impression that the author did not bother to proof read it, that I have met. I wanted to read what was written but I had to give up half way through. A great disappointment.
What I liked: 🧠 Went into detail about what overthinking is 🧠 Explained the steps on how to not overthink as much 🧠 Went into detail but not so much detail where I got bored 🧠 Useful
“Mental clutter is something in your mind that prevents you from being that individual you want to be or living the life you want to live”
“Decluttering your mind is all about letting go of adverse ideas so you can make more room to thrive for beneficial ones”
“Stop multitasking and pay attention to one thing at a moment instead. This enables you to live in the moment, become conscious and exercise observing other ideas and letting them go. It also increases your productivity and enhances your well-being quickly”
Got some good basic concepts, nothing I haven’t read before as i’ve read a lot of self development...but the grammar and writing is terrible. Not sure what happened there. And it’s never made clear who the person writing it actually is, despite multiple references to ‘I’. Shame as tidy the grammar up and make the author a bit more prominent and it’s a half decent book.
The intent behind this book is great. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have been proofread for grammar, spelling, or flow. It was challenging to read and follow the lines of thought thanks to this.
