I really enjoy these books but the typos and inconsistencies are getting annoying. This is book 5.
Sarah is encouraged by Emerson to join the school board, she needs a campaign manager so she asks Max, the father of Emerson's friend Julia, but does he have an ulterior motive? Ava gets huge shock when she opens the door to her husband, who ran off a few years previously with over $1million of their money, what does he want?
The books in this series are best read in order of publication to preserve continuity of the characters and series.

I really enjoyed the first books in this series but this book was a bit of a disappointment. First, so many typos. Those bother me. A few is ok but this one had too many. Plus, lots of time was spent rehashing what happened in previous books in the series. I know this is necessary so that each book can be a stand alone, but it got kind of annoying. And so much writing about certain characters opinions. It was just too much. I didn’t like the ending. I know it was supposed to make me want to read the next one, and I will, but just kind of a crappy ending. Well, on to the next one. Hope it is better.
I feel this book was very disjointed, like I missed part of the story. Peoples ages changed, how are you married to someone for 20 years but your sister doesn’t know him? Very unrealistic that Sarah gets a penny worth millions and Ava gets her millions back also. I think this book needed better proof reading before it was published.
This series has honestly Gone downhill with each book after about the second one - now we have someone who needs to raise $100,000 or more for a campaign for SCHOOL BOARD?! The repetition is annoying and the grammar mistakes are rampant. I won’t finish the series after this and the one before it, both sadly disappointing books.
