I was so happy to get a chance to review this book. And I gotta say that I'm still loving how Mya Grey writes her books and this one was no exception. Highly recommend if you love dark intriguing mafia plots with steamy and character driven stories. I can't wait to see what happens next in Charm.

Mya continues on with her Brutal Kings series exactly where we left off. Andy was leaving for a well earned vacation after Nikki and her sister are saved, but she doesn’t even make it to the airport. Kidnapped, she learns her abduction is more of a retrieval of property as her father has promised her to the one man she NEVER wanted to see again. When Dario and Nikki realize that Andy’s missing they send in Mateo to save the day, but she’s managed to save herself- or has she? I’ll tell you this, when Mateo sweeps in like a white night, he finally succumbs to Andy’s many attempts to get him horizontal and these two could not be hotter! Move over Nikki Love and Dario, these two are taking home the gold.🔥🔥🔥

Now that's how you start a series! Mya had me hooked from the start and I didn't want to put it down! This book was written so well. It started off with such intensity, and it didn't stop. I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen when I turned the page.
I love how strong Andy is, both physically and mentally. And Mateo... well, who wouldn't love an ex-undercover agent?
While reading the previous series, we got meet these two characters. We got to see how Andy would throwing herself at Mateo, but he just wouldn't really acknowledge any of it. Now we get to see just what Mateo was thinking the whole time, and boy does it get hot!
Go grab this book. It's a fantastic read! I'm so glad I have the next book and I don't have to wait to see what happens next!

Andy Carter is happy for her best friend Nikki Love and reformed mob boss Dario Caraldi. Seeing them happy has brought up a ton of emotions and some are attached to dark memories. Andy has started having nightmares come back that she hasn’t had in years. She resigns from being a doctor at the hospital and has decided to take a long vacation to clear her head. This is the start of the next set of books in the Brutal Kings series by Mya Grey. Andy decided she needed a break from her life after everything she has gone through in the last year. She is set to leave when these goons kidnap her. When she wakes up, she realizes she is at the home of the man she hates. Then there is Mateo who is just starting in new uncomplicated life when he gets a call that Andy has gone missing. There is something about her that he can't not agree to find her. He has the right skill set though the woman makes him crazy. Will he be able to get to her in time? The book is just the first installment in their story. It is a really quick read. Looking forward to seeing what happens next.

Wow, wow,what an amazing start to this series. We first met Andi and Matteo in Dario and Nikkis story, they had a love/ hate with plenty of sparks relationship going on and it’s still scorching through these pages. Andis past has caught up to her and Matteo needs to help her. The ending is a great segway to the second instalment. Off to read it now. Hot.🔥💙

Oh wow, this is such an amazing start to what I am sure will be an awesome series. I loved all the danger, suspense, intrigue, drama, and so much more. I can’t wait for the next installment, we found out so much about Andy, she endured so much as a child, I don’t know how she was able to do it..

First installment in the second ‘Brutal Kings’ series. The beginning of Mateo & Andy’s story starts where the last book of the previous set finishes; however, this can be read as a stand-alone series of novellas. Andy’s kidnapping and the aftermath of this is action-packed and ends in a steamy interlude with Mateo. Great teasers and incentive to read the rest of the series as an unpleasant ghost from Andy’s past appears raising more questions to be answered. A good read, setting up what is shaping up to be an excellent romantic thriller.

I can see this is going to be a good series only problem the book was short. Mateo wanted out he wanted an easy life however when Andy goes missing he has to help. He has feelings he wanted to squash down but finding her in such a mess and knowing what has happened as brought those feelings back. Can he take control and save her?

Book 1 of 5 and what a fantastic start to the series it is. Mya Grey has, yet again, captured my attention from the start, drawing me in with the intrigue, suspense and drama - all of that was in the first chapter alone.
Andy has decided to take a break from the recent pressures of life and upon answering the door to the 'taxi driver' for the ride to the airport, she ends up being kidnapped instead. Will anyone realise Andy is missing and not on holiday?
Mateo gets called in to locate Andy and to bring her home but can he find her and what happens if and when he does?
What follows is a fast paced, page turning, action packed rollercoaster of a ride full of tension, suspense, steam and danger with little teasers of secrets from both characters past that I know will come out of the woodwork during the rest of the series. The author knows how to draw the reader into the story and I am already in love with our strong hero Mateo, as well as Andy, who you can't help cheering on from the start. I cannot wait to read book 2.
If you love a well written, dark, steamy romance with lots of action then this is absolutely the book for you - definitely worthy of a 5* rating.

Then there is the horrible past of Mateo. He's Dario's older brother, he works for the FBI (on and off), and he has his own secrets holding him back from real love.
You will not be disappointed in this series. You fall into the world Mya Grey creates right away. Even though you don't need to read the other books in this series to understand this beginning, it's a good idea to read the first 5 books in the Brutal Kings series.

This first book in the series starts off with a bang. Andy has been kidnapped by someone from her past. This is when we learn a lot about her. Andy is a tough woman and she will put up a fight. When Dario and Nikki realize she is missing they call on Mateo. Mateo has been drawn to Andy since her first met her while working for Dario. At first, he tells Dario he can’t help but when hears the details he agrees.
I love me some Mya Grey and her style of writing. She keeps you glued to each page and wanting more. I can’t wait to read Charm. I received an arc copy of this book and I’m freely leaving an honest review.

This was book 6 in the
"Brutal Kings"
series. Nikki's best friend Andi who is a doctor is kidnapped by a madman someone from her past but she didn't go down without a fight. Dario calls Mateo his half brother to find her. I really like Andi she was smart she waited for her moment. Mateo has always liked Andi he finds her in a house that she has had for awhile. Andi comes from a powerful family but her father basically sold her to a man she hates. This was a good read that I liked. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

The Brutal Kings series continues in this amazing addition. I love Mateo and Andy! She has been crushing on him for awhile and she finally gets her chance with him. She was kidnapped and her best friend’s husband (who is Mateo’s half-brother) sends Mateo to find her. This is an amazingly exciting adventure. It ends in a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to read Charm to see how they get out of this and hopefully end the villain’s reign of terror. Awesome! *this was a complimentary copy and this is my honest review*

As always Mya has done ut again. Has managed to capture my attention from the 1st page. It was all go go go, from the start. That tension, drama and Suspense.
It was heartbreaking to read what Andy was subjected to when she was 15. I do think that could be a trigger for some. As it was rape in some form.
I loved her strength of not giving up and fighting.
The heat between Mateo and Andy was next level. Loved it.
I need to read next book ASAP. I can't get enough!!

Maleto and Andy!
I like this book so far,Maleto is just what Andy needs,he will break her shell and show her kindness about the male species, they aren't all bad out there but when you are raise in a household where the male is the dominant and they show that they don't do anything wrong it makes like Andy feel used since she was fifteen and lose the only male in her family that's cares,it makes for Andy to trust men.
