What Does it Take to Impact Your World for Christ?
Endless resources? Extraordinary giftings? An impressive platform?
If you desire to build the kingdom, but sometimes wonder if you have anything to offer, (Un)remarkable: Ten Ordinary Women Who Impacted Their World for Christ is for you. The women whose lives you’ll read about in this small volume were not glamorous nor scandalous, not flashy or famous. But God saw fit to use their everyday faithfulness to give wings to others’ faith, providing gospel hope to millions of souls through their ordinary efforts.
Perfect for individual or group study, each chapter includes opportunities for further reflection—to “Take It Home and Make It Personal.” Through each good story, you’ll see God’s good plan: the Author in whose hands every ordinary story, every hand-knit soul, is secure. You’ll be inspired to use your life, however “unremarkable,” to point others to our remarkable God.

I was excited to read this book, but a little disappointed at the end. Since each chapter is written by someone different, there’s some discontinuity. I liked the chapters that told more story, letting me get to know that woman better. However, some chapters read more like an encyclopedia or told more about what I could learn from that person without much story for me to draw from.
Each woman gets 3-4 pages. I wish the chapters were a bit longer so I learned more about their life. Questions at the end of each chapter are provided to make it personal.
I always love reading missionary stories or stories of faithful followers of Christ. While this small booklet didn't go into great detail, it was an enjoyable read and left me wanting to read more about many of the women mentioned.
Such a wonderful study to do with a group of gals. Easy to understand, full of information, and great questions at the end of each chapter. This is a good book to start with if you are wanting to start a Bible study!
Wonderful snapshots into the lives of 8 women who gave everything to follow God's calling. It definitely made me want to read more on these amazing women!
