The songs were written for THE SECRET LANGUAGE OF TREES, a book of illustrated lyrical stories accompanied by its own original soundtrack. Through visuals and song, it's an introspective experience told from the perspective of trees, their elementals, and their animal companions.
Trees are gateways between dimensions, bringers of knowledge, and workers of magic. In a network of sound and vibration, they communicate in a language heard and felt within. Paulina Cassidy

Paulina's world is filled with magical creatures born of creative intuition and limitless imagination. She draws and brushes them into our world with love and an essence of herself. Having spent much of her time drawing from a very young age, Paulina finds solace in creating and sharing her own magical brew of whimsy. Her unique vision, style and fanciful designs are loved and collected worldwide.
Paulina has been building a growing customer base worldwide since the debut of her website in 1999, Restless Moon Gallery.
Born in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, she reflects, "my kind-hearted imaginary monster was perhaps not so imaginary afterall. I've been drawing ever since I can remember, and alternate worlds/dimensions have always been very real and very close by for me."
The mysteries of the paranormal have always been an influence in Paulina's work. Having experienced and researched the paranormal for most of her life, Paulina says, "ghosts and other interdimensional beings are everywhere, and they're often trying to communicate with us from various layers in our space and time. Every house I've ever lived in has had some form of spirit activity, as does the house in which we're now living. I welcome them here because they're quiet, respectful spirits. They like being here. I often sense energy shifts and can often tell when spirits are present. Most of them mean well and I welcome them, as long as there's always a mutual respect, and as long as they don't try to zap my energy. That's where I draw the line."
"There have been ghosts in my parent's house ever since I can remember. They're still there, yet the spirits we've been dealing with give no reason to fear; they've always been protective spirits. I believe the land itself is haunted by spirits from different eras, including Native Americans. We've seen faerie lights in the gardens and in the house. There's always been an array of spirit activity that comes and goes through the years, and it's never stopped; it never will. One day, I will haunt those lands, too. Tempestuously so!"
A songwriter, Paulina records and produces albums. "I used to write little songs on piano when I was a teenager; it's due time to revisit and liberate that audio flame. Sound and vision, afterall, come from the same sea of creativity."
A Reiki practitioner, Paulina dedicates time each day to this healing practice. She's been a student of energy medicine for over 10 years & applies her studies in energy healing to her visual art. She is also a kundalina yoga practitioner, and has been a vegetarian/vegan for 20+ years.
Paulina works from her home studio where she creates, paints and writes for most of her waking hours, catering to the constant demands of her little muses. A solitary witch, Paulina resided in the New Orleans area from 2005 to 2007. New Orleans is a city that Paulina and her husband Kevin both love dearly, and still consider it home. Paulina and Kevin now live in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with their two feline furbabies, Mortimer and Lilith.

This was a beautifully illustrated book.
The art was amazing.
The music wasn't really my thing, but it went well with the...poems? Lyrics? Whatever it is, I really enjoyed it.
