This is a novella about Meera and Neil, both of them being hardworking and intelligent and living and working for the same company in the US. Meera is a simple girl wearing comfortable attire and keeping work as a priority. She had already had an unpleasant past relationship. Neil is Meera's senior who she meets during a training session and it is love at first sight for her. While she develops feelings for him, she get to know about his Casanova image and rude attitude. She feels heartbroken. The book had it's humourous elements in Meera's diary writing. This is an opposites attract story - the good girl falling for the bad boy. It is a short, crisp and sweet romantic story written in simple language with interesting twists, and can be completed in one sitting. Recommended for beginners.

Love is such a powerful emotion and force that has the ability to make all of our insecurities disappear and make us feel like we are on the top of the world, urging us to get control on our defenses and contribute towards something meaningful.
Meera, A Junior Software Analyst and our main female protagonist from the book, ‘You Are Mine’ has a similar sense of accreditation when a meeting with Neil evokes such a plethora of emotions from within her that it was hard to dismiss what she was perceiving.
No matter how much Meera denied it, she had fallen for Neil from the very moment she first set her eyes on him and she just wasn't able to stop thinking about him.
And it seemed like even fate was on their side when they continuously started coming in each other's paths, thereby growing even more acquainted and fond of each other.
However, just as they thought that things had started to go placidly and smoothly, Meera discovers something about Neil that leaves her shocked to the core.
Now, how will this secret impact their relationship and will they be able to navigate through the roadblock that was presented to them or will they succumb and capitulate under it remains to be seen.
Even though it was a short story, this was a fulfilling read and the author has tied up all the ends very neatly, hence I am going to give this book FIVE STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The story follows the life of Meera who is dealing with a dark past of her own. She is torn between her personal and private though she is trying her best to live a normal life.
All her world turned upside down when she gets confronted by Neil. She felt attracted to him in a very unusual way. Even though Meera tried to resist him for quite some time, the more she resisted the more she couldn't skip a beat for him.
Unaware of Neil's true color & motive, she ultimately fell in traps of him. As soon as she realised the truth, there was no escape for it.
Meera felt like betrayed by Neil's emotional yet Mysterious game. How Meera dealt with it is quite a thing to know about in this storyline.

Written perfectly
Just an amazing novel. Having nicely explored characters - this novel mainly focusses on Neil and Meera. It's interesting to read how two persons having completely different personality, attitude towards the life and social and economical background cross each other's path. How they fall in love ? How they compliment each other? Opposite attracts the fact proved right in this novel. As it's a short romance book it's good to lift up the mood and make you feel satisfied as it ends on good note. Also the characters are penned in great detail and some hand drawn images are also used to portray the character - making it more interesting. There is only one thing which is lacking a bit - that is story progression. As it's a romance book if the author has stretched a story bit than it would be a very good experience for reader. Overall, this is an amazing story book.

Meera met Neil in her office training and became attracted to him. But after seeing his arrogant behavior and knowing his playboy reputation, there was no way she was taking any risk. Meera can't get her mind off Neil and takes a risky move, but Neil is keeping secrets from her that might crush her heart.
I had been unable to connect with the plot and characters due to their lack of depth. Other dynamics are given greater attention than the primary characters.
It is a fast-paced book with four chapters written in easy language. This adorable romantic novel was enjoyable to read.

This beautiful novella is about a talented and dedicated techie Meera, a girl in this world of flings believes in true love. She is nerdy and always cared about things that others don't even a bother with. During her course of training, she is assigned as junior to the trainer Neil, who she was instantly attracted to. Neil is a well known flirt and womaniser due to which meera kept her distance because she was never into flings. Though she tries her best not to fall in love with him, that's the first thing that happens to her. So how does she tackle things with him? Is neil looking for a fling or something more? Could she trust him afterall?
The story has answers to it all. It was a quickie and one of the shortest and cute story I've read. If you're looking for a tiny romance book to take your mind off things, this is an ideal choice for ya❤️✨

"You are mine" is a beautiful short love story of Meera and Neil who are totally opossite of each other. It is love at first sight story.
I loved the characterization of Meera who is a self made and strong person. Studious and hardworking woman who is an introvert and who is unaware of her own capabilities. But she believes in herself and her work. She accept herself the way she is.
Neil is a charming boy with some secret identity, which off course I will not reveal. Neil is a person who never thought that he will fall in love with anyone but love happened to him which changed him completely.
How their story unfold and what happened between them is a mystery to solve. I loved this book and find this love story beautiful and cute. ✨

This story starts from the girl Meera who is doing a course in Terasoft in Miami and do a part time job in bookstore . One day for guest lectures a very handsome, sexy person came named Neil , she fall in love with him that very day, but slowly slowly she get to know about him and his past from others and she was shocked. Then they both personally met and had good time and this story revolves around this beautiful love story of these two person.
Short and amazing read with some twists and turns.
I love how the author have maintained the secret and suspensfully it came out.

🖋️ You are mine by Charu Vashishtha Gulatie is one of the cutest story that I had the pleasure of reading. The romance and comedy combine together with some pain that had me captured from the very beginning until the end. It's like watching a movie so sweet you don't want to blink even once afraid to miss a single scene.
🖋️Seriously, I don't think this book could have been more perfect for me. It had all the things and all the feels that made me love reading, and left me practically woww.
🖋️I just want to wrap myself in a Meera & Neil blanket. This story was perfection! I identified so much with Meera. She was a workaholic to say the least, working hard to build a good career for her and didn't know how to find joy in other things outside of work. On the other hand Neil, is a philander, arrogant and free spirited person. He is a senior techie, under him Meera is going to do her training. She got attracted to him.

✨When Meera sees him, she feels like something happening to her, it's like a new feeling for her to feel like that, she used to be a very practical girl to not fall for men easily but when Neil smiles, or his speech the way of attitude he carries around her, she thinks there is something about this man that pulling towards him.

Such is this book a short sassy sweet office romance.Before I start I'd love to appreciate the author for choosing such perfect names of the leads that describe them altogether, Meera and Neil.

You are Mine - A 58 pages short love story between Meera and Neil who tends to be exact opposite to each other.
Meera - A talented and hardworking girl who prefers baggy cloths over fashion trends and always love spending time with orphan kids.
Neil - A smart, Good-looking guy having all those charm and flirty vibes.
Story begins with Meera, how she live her life balancing between her work and her part time job teaching the kids. Suddenly one day at her office she meets Neil and just couldn't take her eyes off him. Was it a love at first sight for her or just a fling? While on the other hand Neil too noticed Meera and was curious to know her more.
Would Neil be able to see past Meera?
It was super quick and light hearted read. The writing style being basic and straightforward makes it more fun to read. The character development too seems perfect for such short novella.
Life of a simple girl is described through Meera here, the approach she has towards life and what she expects but as we all know it is not that simple and easy to get. Sometimes we do have to give love a chance and see if it works out. in Meera's words, "Love has its own ways of seeping in, it renders you helpless first and then strengthens you, you find it when you least expect it and that's the beauty if it."
A cute romance you can try out for! Also at the end she announce her another upcoming novel "An Unlikely Match"

The author Charu Gulati has expressed love as "love at first sight". But Meera thinks about Neil's personality, his behavior, and his arrogance. She thinks many times to go ahead with him or not. As far as Neil is concerned, he flirts with many girls.
Short, sweet, and simple love story. The author could have done some character building, captured more emotions with some extra twists.

I liked the way the author has started this book by mentioning her experience of writing a journey on how exactly she got the overall idea of writing this romance novel under the preface section. The silly laughable discussion between two friends and the result is in our hands.
The story revolves around Meera and Neil.
Meera is a talented, smart and sensible girl who is a junior software analyst at Terasoft, an emerging software giant headquartered in New York and branches all across the country. Meera was located at the Miami branch.
Neil the guide and trainer appointed at Miami branch to train the new techies. He was not like normal ones, his attitude was at par and he smiled like he needed to pay for it.
But Meera fell head over heels at first sight but alas she was not given even a glance from him. Neil's ego and jerk attitude makes Meera uncomfortable. But love is blind and sometimes deaf n dumb too.
But will Neil ever feel the same attraction as Meera feels??? Or he will just ignore her feelings and move on???
Meera's diary writing habit is also a fun part of the story as she writes ideas of how to not fall in love with the jerk😂😂.
Though it's a short story, I felt the author had rushed it at the end. It could have been more elaborated and detailed.
Overall a good read.

The man actually took a training session in her company and the very first meeting was awefully remarkable. The novella opened with a preface by the author detailing out her journey of writing the book in a conversation with her friend. From the idea generation to the actual writing of the novel. And that silly conversation resulted in this story that I read yesterday.
A short and simple read about a love story was exactly what I needed this week. Revolving around Meera, who is a hardworking member of a software company and her journey to self-discovery and love story with Mr. Neil, a trainer and guide from the company headquarters, known for his knowledge and quick on. Neil is a charming and enthusiastic man whose reputation precedes him, and she is a simple and nerdy woman with no big interests outside of work.
Meera falls in head over heels at first sight, much to her surprise. Her sentiments are also not returned and Neil seems more arrogant and out of reach day by day.

I honestly thought this novella was going to be a predictable and cheesy romcom but it was anything but that!
Charu Gulati's writing is fabulous, the story is masterfully serves up perfect blend of drama and character arc that kept me glued to the pages.
It was such well balanced narrative, and there were so many surprising moments amidst this short novella.
The narrative was not too long or short it was just right, just perfect I repeat I adore the way it was written. Meera was such an endearing character, i couldn't help myself smiling throughout because of her and i thoroughly liked her. It's been so long since I i strongly resonated with a Protagonist.
The tone is soothing and provided me with a replenishing pause I didn't know I needed.
At once electric, contemplative, intriguing, and romantic 'You are mine' serve as a celebration of love. It's reminder no matter what the heart want what it wants and life is truly unpredictable.
The ending just made my heart happy.
