As a patient and someone continuously gaining new lived experience with different types of arthritis, I found this book very helpful. It provided useful information beyond the "book" knowledge I already had. Hearing what is possible and is problematic is important from the patient's perspective. I think it helps improve your interactions with your physician.
Excellent overview of arthritis. I now know much more about the different type, standard treatments, alternative treatments, and prognosis. Anyone who has arthritis should read this to inform themselves about their options.
What an excellent book :) It may have been written a while ago but it is still very, very relevant. I learned loads from this book - which is what I always love about a good book. I really recommend this book for anyone with any type of Arthritis or anyone who is looking after a sufferer.
