We all know Enthrall world by Vanessa Fewings means erotic and sinful fantasies being fulfilled without any limits. Enthrall Shadows delivered that and then some more. The emotional depth of this story is astounding. The angst hit me before I could prepare my heart from the wreckage. Complex characters with their more complex emotions set a new standard in Enthrall world.
Henry Cole has come back from door of death in Afghanistan and this ex Navy SEAL has taken over the role of the CEO of their prestigious family business Cole Tea. The war has left its scar and he has a lot to heal. Dominatrix Lotte from his brother's "infamous" Chrysalis is far from his pristine billionaire celebrity life. Yet their paths meet and collide. They form an intriguing dynamics but they both know it cannot go beyond friendship. When Henry has to go find closure with a piece of his past, Lotte accompanies him and that mission consolidates their connection. But the world is too cruel sometimes.
Henry evoked a lot of extremes emotions in me. He has been through a lot. My heart cracked and broke for him because the demons in his soul are clearly still chasing him. But omg he can be so stubborn and c0cky and alpha arrogant. It is infuriating and also, oddly seductive. Lotte is the epitome of quiet strength, fierce calmness and compassion. She can see through Henry's cold controlled exterior but Henry refuses to let his wall down for a long time. He had a hard time understanding why Lottie does the BDSM lifestyle and it was obviously hard for him to relinquish control enough to see the truth. The beauty is Lotte did not expect or want his submission. She just wanted him to open his heart. Because, honestly, Lottie craved his bossiness too. She made him feel loved, exposed, unsettled in the best possible way. She was his redemption. This story is a complicated puzzle. Elements of supense and adventure mixed with opulence and debauchery of Chrysalis. The emotions were powerful and heartbreaking. The passion was filthy and depraved. Enthrall Shadows kept me under a spell till the very last page. I feel this is the most emotionally rich story of the series.

Vanessa has once again entertained me with her words and captured me with her wonderful characters and their story. We are once again revisiting Enthrall with the man back from the dead, retired Navy Seal and now CEO of Cole Tea Henry Cole. He is a force in his own with the demons that he brought back from Afghanistan, they haunt him, make him withdrawn, mysterious and unreadable. His brother Cameron has been keeping an eye on him since his return to the real world and is quite surprised when he befriends the lovely Lotte.
Lotte beauty, intelligence, powerful, understanding and also a dominatrix in her down time. She also has passion for psychology that makes her the perfect "friend" for Henry. They soon develop a strange but comforting relationship that takes them both off kilter. When a note from the dead finds Henry, he is to set out for answers that have been needed for 20 years and Lotte is making it her mission to help him however he needs along this journey.
Henry and Lotte are reserved, captivating, have wonderful chemistry and their story is filled with mystery, intrigue, truths and could it possibly also include an everlasting love.

This is the tenth book in the series. I believe they really need to be read in order to get the full picture. This is finally Henry’s book. He has been through so much. Mia managed to pull him from his refuge in Big Bear. Now he has taken over Cole Tea to free Cameron to live his life. It was always meant to be his. But now more struggles are on the horizon. He still isn’t all that comfortable around a lot of people. Plus, he still struggles with PTSD. Lotte is a dominatrix and works much like Cameron. Yes, there is sex involved but its more than that. Lotte and Henry seem to being thrown together a lot lately and they are drawn together. Could they really be able to be together in the open though. Someone would find out what she does and then it would tarnish the Cole Tea name. Or could there be a way? Someone from Henry’s past makes a reappearance as well. Turning his world on its side even more than Lotte is doing. This book was a fantastic read. I couldn’t put it down but I kept having to. Henry deals with a lot of guilt and it influences most of his decisions even with Lotte. It seemed that he would push her away anytime they were finally making progress. Not to say that Lotte didn’t have her moments. I can’t say enough about this book. It is a must read for me. I love the series and always look forward to a new book in it. Fantastic job Vanessa.

Enthrall Shadows was so well written, as all of Vanessa Fewings novels are. I love ALL of the Enthrall Sessions characters, but I was waiting patiently for Henry Cole! And wow, did we get him.
Henry Cole is a former Navy SEAL turned CEO of the reputed Cole Tea industry. He is haunted by a tumultuous past riddled with guilt and pain. He’s barely hanging on most days. When suddenly confronted with that very painful past in the most heartbreakingly cruel way possible, he needs an escape. So he finds himself trespassing into Chrysalis, the swanky BDSM club he knows his brother, Cameron Cole, has a part in.
There, he meets the stunningly beautiful premier dominatrix—Lotte Chamberlain. The attraction is instant. Sparks are ignited into a full-blown inferno. But they are from two very different worlds, and there’s no combining such disparate spheres. Or at least that’s what Henry thinks. They can’t seem to stay away from one another. The intense pull is magnetic. And contrary to what Henry thinks, he needs the formidable and unrelenting Lotte to help him along his journey into the past.

Since the moment Henry Cole appeared on canvas as a battle-worn warrior, he’s been a slow reveal, accentuating the lives of those around in this series. However, he remained a mystery. I was so excited to see where his story would take us. I wasn’t disappointed. On the contrary. I was intoxicated by his darkness and exhilarated by his charm. Having served and survived captivity in Afganastan, he suffered the worse kind of torture. His time there fundamentally changed him and left him with PTSD. I loved the way the author handled his strengths as well as his weaknesses. Henry is a true hero.
I have always liked Lotte, but this book really explores who she is as a character—her solid morals and individualism. She’s confidently brazen, brilliant, and kind. There’s a reason she’s loved by all the characters in this series. She’s there for Henry in a way I don’t think anyone else could have been. She guides and helps him on his journey of rediscovery as he lays to rest old wounds and finds new love and a sense of peace he never expected. In return, Henry helps Lotte regain a part of herself stolen by a painful past of her own. In a genuine pride and prejudice story, they both lay down preconceptions and find an acceptance neither thought possible.
Henry and Lotte together... WOW! Their chemistry is off the charts hot, hot, HOT! Incendiary! I just loved them together.
To add to the awesomeness of this book, we get visits from past characters and little insights into their continuing lives! Yay! And Cameron Cole... need I say more? He comes through once again. Ahh, I just love him!
The Wrap Up:
Told in duel POV’s, everything about this read is intelligent and good. It’s the best kind of adult fun, and is an exquisite addition to the Enthrall Sessions series! You won’t want to pass up!

I was anticipating this book since Henry was first introduced to us and boy howdy did it not disappoint. Henry is a complicated character that is reflected in the book by the edging of will they won’t they. Just when you think Henry and Lotte are going to be together and live happily ever after an ex-girlfriend, job deals, corporate spies, and scandals all get in the way. This is the first time in a long while that had me yelling at my tablet for the characters to stop being stupid or for people to stop getting in the way while loving every moment of it. Lotte since the beginning has been a strong woman despite her past and is very supportive and caring from the beginning towards Henry and his past trauma. As much as I love all the other couples this one is probably just edging out Cameron and Mia. The spice, the kink, and the chemistry was just beautifully written as always and I love the dynamic of Henry not naturally a dom in the lifestyle being the dom that Lotte needs. Henry peaking behind the curtain of the life his brother and friends have lead for so long was an incredible perceptive. He certainly could give Cameron a run for his money for BDE (big dom energy) so must run in the family. I’m probably bias towards this series but I just can’t help but submit to Vanessa’s writing in any genre.

As soon as you start reading this story, you will be enraptured into the world of Chrysalis and the lifestyle. Henry Cole is an ex prisoner of war and head of Cole Tea. He is intense, and has a dark tortured past that stops him from having a bright future in his mind. Charlotte is a psychologist and Dominatrix at Chrysalis and the minute she meets Henry, she is drawn to him. When the love of his life a woman from his past resurface, Henry realizes that Lotte is more than a friend. He will clumsily try to have a relationship with Lotte, going from hot to cold all the time, but communication is the basis on how a relationship should be built and they seem to be lacking this premise all through the story until they stop and are made to realize their mistake. I was so enthralled by this story, I had to read it in one sitting. We see an appearance of our friendly past characters all through the story. This is an amazing love story , full of passion, human frailties and struggles.

This is the 10th book in this series, and this is Henry and Lottie’s journey. Henry is a former Navy Seal, who has been left scarred and haunted by his demons, and he is now the head of the family empire and a successful businessman. Lottie is a dominatrix, and she sees through Henry’s cold and controlling façade, and while Henry has a tough time understanding her and the BDSM lifestyle, she just wants him to open his heart and allow her to be there for him as a friend and love him like he deserves. This is a well written story which has an intricate and in-depth storyline, with complex characters, angst, emotions, healing, trust, truths, family, friendships, suspense, passion, redemption, heartbreak, mystery, intrigue, and love, which leads to a riveting and addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Oh my goodness! Henry! I have always been intrigued, but hadn't imagined how wonderful he would turn out to be! With Lotte as his foil, his journey is filled with crippling memories of his past and inhibitions regarding his perceived social obligations. This is a real stumbling block, and wars against his burgeoning attraction to the inestimable Lotte. Her compassion, patience and understanding, shine through everything does. She's marvellous.
Vanessa Fewings has, again, written a book which wrapped itself around me. Her writing is fabulous, her thoughts on the human condition, caring and empathetic, her leading characters a wonderful reflection of this. Having Cameron and Richard playing such important roles in this book cements the found and blood family in bonds of deep affection and support for each other and their individuality. This series has been a complete and total joy and Henry's book a dramatic and fabulous finale. Loved every word 💖💖💖💖💖o

Enthrall Shadow is book 10 in Enthrall .The book is about Henry Cole( he is Cameron's older brother) he is a Navy Seal .His love interest is Lottie the Dominatrix. There is a lot of chemistry between the two of them and the sex scene are amazing.When I started reading I couldn't put it down. Vanessa Fewings is magnifysent and amazing writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work.You should definitely read this book.Can't wait for the next book

Vanessa Fewings has done it again with another Enthrall Book #10. I was interested to see who Henry Cole , Cameron older brother and Navy Seal would be his love interest and Vanessa did not disappoint with it being Lottie the Dominatrix, Who would think that this would work. There is so much chemistry between the two of them and the sex does not disappoint! I am just happy that Henry has finally met his match in this Book. I was given a ARC of this book and loved it 😍

Enthrall Shadows by Vanessa Fewings is book 10 in the Enthrall Sessions Series. This is the story of Henry Cole and Charlotte 'Lotte' Chamberlain. Henry is a former Navy Seal who after surviving the trauma of that he has returned home. Lotte is a dominatrix and she catches Henry's eye and this starts their story. I really enjoyed this book and I hope to read more from this author.

This story is amazing. I have always wanted to hear more about Henry and this book was even more than I thought it could be. I have cherished this book series since discovering it and loved every book. This one is special though, this one made me cry. It is so BEAUTIFUL!

I absolutely loved Henry and Lotte’s story! Beautifully written and captivating. I loved being back in the world of Enthrall again, spending time with Cameron and Richard as well. Another wonderful addition to this brilliant series!

I love the Enthrall series. I have my favorite authors so I was leery of reading a book by someone else but Vanessa has never disappointed me in her books. She writes well and always keeps you picking the book back up to see what happens next. The Coles are the main characters of her books and adding another Cole to the last few books was the best decision she could do. In this story the brother shows his true self and we learn so much more of Henry with who he was, who he is and what and who he becomes. Vanessa has now become my favorite author and I hope she continues writing the series and brings back the group together in future books.
Enthrall is the best series of books bringing light to the lifestyle and showing what a true commUnity within it is.

I was gifted the ARC for an honest review, and I was once again thrown into the blessed writing of this author!! I enjoyed reading Henry’s story and learning more about his complex psyche. It was written with great detail and plenty of seduction! I hope there will be another added to this series…

I need to let all who read this review that I am a super fan of Vanessa Fewings. She is one of my top authors. You know that you have those authors that you can't wait for them to write another book and in the meantime you have to reread some of the books you already have of theirs so that is how I feel about Vanessa. I of course couldn't wait to read Henry Cole's story and of course I was not disappointed. I was so happy because I got to experience my book boyfriend Dr. Cameron Cole and his wife Mia again. Anytime I get to read about Cameron and Mia I am a happy person and of course Richard and Shay, it was like a family reunion for me. Let's talk about this book with out giving away the plot. We have Henry the brother of Cameron who was a Afghan war prisoner. He went to live in the wilderness where Mia went and drew him out and he eventually learn to cope with society and eventually took his place as CEO of the Cole Tea Company and gave Cameron his freedom to live as he wanted with his wife and child. This story also features Charlotte Chamberlain aka Lotte who trained submissives at Enthrall and during this time she was courted by De Sade the most ruthless Dom that they had Enthrall and Shay's former lover. He and a couple of other Doms decided to try to resurrect Pendulum a Sex club that was a rival of Enthrall and Chrysalis. Lotte caught Henry in Chrysalis and tried to help him and figure out why he was in the club. This is about how both Henry and Lotte found each other and the relationship that developed. It was an awesome journey with Henry and Lotte and their story left me wanting more of Enthrall Sessions. I loved this story and I would highly recommend this book. If this is the first book you are wanting to purchase I would recommend going back and at least reading the first three books of Enthrall to get a background but if it were me I would read all nine leading up to this book, "just saying", that's just me. Get this book, it is an awesome read, it is "Enthralling".

Her writing is fabulous, her thoughts on the human condition, caring and empathetic, her leading characters a wonderful reflection of this. Having Cameron and Richard playing such important roles in this book cements the found and blood family in bonds of deep affection and support for each other and their individuality. This series has been a complete and total joy and Henry's book a dramatic and fabulous finale. Loved every word 💖💖💖💖💖

Henry Cole is a former Navy SEAL, back from the dead, CEO of Cole Tea, and he has a lot of demons. Lottie is a beautiful soul who just happens to be a dominatrix in her free time, and they form a bond as friends. The sparks are flying but they both know they can be no more than friends at the end of the day because of his image. However, we all know the heart wants what the heart wants, and when he needs answers to something from his past, Lottie is the one to walk beside him to help so it's only a matter of time before that friendship won't be enough. I'm not saying that it was immediate, as Henry definitely was on the more stubborn side, and his preconceived notions about what he would be to her were wrong since Lottie just wanted him to open up his heart. This story was emotional, hot, and suspenseful that I couldn't get enough of, so perfect. The entire Enthrall series is captivating! This story about Henry and Lotte brings us a wonderful finale to the series. Henry might be the head of the family's empire, but he is so damaged inside from his time as a Navy seal and all he went through. He has demons no one even knows about but Lotte can see through the walls he has built around himself. With her help, patience and understanding, he will go on mission to find closure on a part of his past. Henry also helps Lotte regain a piece of herself stolen from her past as well. The chemistry that these two have is absolutely off the charts! Powerful and sometimes heartbreaking emotions, adventure, suspense, passion - it's all here. We also get to see some past characters as well which is always fun. As always, a fabulous read by Vanessa Fewings. She never disappoints!

This is both a compelling and extremely emotional story with multiple layers. I spent much of the time with tears in my eyes and wanting to yell at Henry and Lotte to stop assuming things and tell each other the truth. Cameron seems to be the only one able to understand what each is going through and in his inimitable style, steer them in the right direction. There is a level of sophistication in Vanessa Fewings’ writing that imparts the emotions of Lotte and Henry, particularly Henry, without the need to be explicit and yet is very powerful. This is different to most of the Enthrall books, but equally as captivating and enjoyable and of course there are a couple of surprises along the way. I loved it.

When a note from the dead forces Henry to search for answers that have haunted him for 20 years, with the help of Lotte Chamberlain (dominatrix/psychologist) on his journey. Lotte and Henry have amazing chemistry but will her profession keep them apart or will Henry try to understand the value of what she does?

Charlotte (Lotte) was a bit of a rebel, breaking a few rules, but she was smart and determined. Henry was thrown for a loop when his past landed on his doorstep, but he struggled to attain what he truly needed. Lotte showed him a different future, and I enjoyed how she pushed her way into his life even through the dangerous moments. There were also moments of heat and love and family. Pushing boundaries for these two lead them to their HEA.

This is the classic story of a great woman that saves a war hero. In this story, the war hero is the Henry Cole of Cole Tea. Lotte is the last thing Henry expects or needs in his life. She brings an authenticity that is refreshing to his life. Henry is going through the motions without any real meaning until he meets Lotte.
Add in all the Enthrall players, it’s a story you will not want to miss reading. I personally will take anything I can get to see the master mind Cameron Cole in action.
The Enthrall series will have you wondering where Fewings will go next, her creativity doesn’t disappoint even on book ten.
I simply can’t get enough of Enthrall.,.

My heart and head are full of so many emotions. This is by far one of the best series I have read I. Years. I love how we ended it with Henry and Lotte. We have seen more of He ry and his backstory than Lotte, so I was giddy to see what life had brought her to enthrall and chrysalis as a Dominatrix. I adored her calmed deamonor even when she was hurting. Henry has so many obstacles against him, but he is taking on his demons face to face. I love seeing all the characters and seeing Henry and the lotte fight for a love that is deemed taboo. Thank you, Vanessa, for a beautiful series.

Omg this book was absolutely fantastic. Henry is not into bdsm like his brother and Richard is with their clubs but he has a thing for a domintrix Charlotte and she is also a therapist she tries to free Henry mind about bdsm but he is stubborn and an old love of his he thought was dead comes back, they go on an adventure to find her to see what Reese his lost love wants and sparks fly, the twists and turns and struggles in this book was amazing I highly recommend this book

Love this series!
The story of Henry and Lotte was simply amazing. Every book in this series has been such fun to read. I’m hoping that Vanessa Fewings adds more books because I would love to hear Jake’s story.
All of these books were just so good that I don’t want to have the series come to an end. So glad PassionFlix is making this series into a movie, It’s going to be one heck of a roller coaster ride.

What a great way to end the Enthrall series! I loved this story of Henry and Lotte!! Henry has been through so much. Lotte is exactly what he needs, if he can only open up and let her in!! I love these two together!! Loved this book and entire series! I highly recommend. So glad that we will still see our Enthrall book family in the next series the Chandelier Sessions!! Can’t wait!!
