I thought being kidnapped by vile, alien slavers was bad enough. Then I woke up on a lust moon.
I know all about the Xulonian recreation moons, but I’d hoped to end up on the hunting one. As a security officer for the empire, I know how to fight. I am not prepared to wake up practically naked on a strange island.
It doesn’t take me long to figure out that the hedonistic island I’m trapped on isn’t what it seems—and the voyeurs who pay to watch aren’t easily satisfied.
With no weapons and no way off, hiding is my only option. Until I run straight into him.
The massive Taori isn’t willing to put on a show for our captors either. He’s determined to escape. Teaming up with him makes sense until the carnal lust surrounding us triggers his mating fever. Now the only way to escape may be to give the alien voyeurs—and the Taori warrior—what they so desperately want.
SEDUCE is a full-length sci fi romance novel with an HEA and no cheating. It features steamy scenes on an alien lust moon, deadly battles, and some serious alien mating fever.
If you like dominant and dangerous alien warriors, alien abduction to seduction romance, and hot scenes with a happily ever after, you’ll love SEDUCE, the third book in Tana Stone’s sci-fi romance The Sky Clan of the Taori series.
I love sexy aliens and independent heroines. I grew up on Star Trek: Next Generation and Star Wars (and I adore them equally). My favorite superhero is Thor (with Aquaman a close second because, well, Jason Momoa), my favorite dessert is key lime pie (okay, fine, all pie), and I still lament the loss of Firefly.
I live in North Carolina in the US and have one husband, two teenagers, and two neurotic cats. I sometimes wish I could teleport to a holographic space station like the one in my tribute brides series (or maybe vacation at the oasis with the sand planet barbarians). :-) When I'm not writing, I love to paddleboard, dive, travel, and read obsessively!
The following ratings are out of 5: Romance: 🖤💙❤️💚🩵 Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Story/Plot: 📕📗📙📘 World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌍 Character development: 🙁😋😘🥰 Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙 Narration Type: Dual Narration
The heroine:Carly - she was an officer in the imperial forces, always having to work harder than everyone else because she was a woman. Carly was a widow and determined never to get close to another man. Her ship was captured by space pirates and she and the other females on board were sold to the Xulonians. The Xulonians were a hedonistic race that destroyed their planet and liked to escape their reality through escapism. They held reality games on their different moons. One was for lust; one was for hunting and there were others as well. Carly ended up on the Lust moon where Xulonians sat in their homes and watched frail human females get together with vicious alien males.
The Hero:Skard - he was the youngest male in the immortal army of the Taori. He was the navigations officer on board their ship. The males on his ship have dedicated their lives to the destruction of their enemies, the swarm of Scythians. However, they ended up in a temporal wormhole and ended up 500 years in the future where the Xulonians bombed their ship. The sky clan warriors had to launch the escape pods and ended up on the various moons of the Xulonians. Skard ended up on the Lust moon and his mating heat had begun.
The Story: The males of the Taori only go into mating heat every ten years, but when it happens, they need a woman to help them end it. If they are not able to end the heat, they go into a mating frenzy and can eventually go mad and if it gets bad enough, they fear they will even turn into the Scythians that they hate so much. Skard’s pod landed in a body of water on the moon, though not far from land. Carly woke up and she heard noises and knew instantly that she was on the lust moon. Skard and Carly ran into each other soon after and he knew that the mating fever was upon him.
I wasn’t too fond of the descriptions of Carly and the ways she described herself. She is over 6 feet tall and says she can probably beat most men in a fight. She reminded me a bit of a latina Brienne of Tarth from Game of Thrones. Though Skard was turned on by the thought of sparring with her, and he was from a large warrior race, so was much taller than her either way. I have really enjoyed this series so far, especially the adventure, danger and suspense involved in each couple trying to find their way off the moons they ended up on. Each book offers fresh challenges, adding variety to the overarching adventure. The layered stakes, survival themes, and forbidden dynamics keep things gripping, especially with the tension between Carly’s hardened independence and Skard’s warrior instincts.
This audiobook was told in multiple points of view via duet narration and was narrated by Marcio Catalano and Aubrey Vincent. Marcio has a soft, deep voice which I like quite a bit. Aubrey Vincent doesn’t have one of my favorite voices, but she is very expressive and does a great job. I love the duet narration, and both are good at doing different voices for different characters. Duet narration really elevates the emotional range, and it’s great that both narrators brought distinct voices to their characters. Marcio Catalano’s voice added a smooth intensity to Skard’s presence.
Seduce is the perfect name for this book, because, Lust moon?? I enjoyed reading it very much, Skard falls in his pod in the xullon Lust moon, were the entretenimento is all things Lust and to top the Cake he enters his Quaybin, the mating feever. Carly is One if the humans that were abducted from the imperial vessel and sold to the xullons. The bigger plot is getting together and we are starting to see that the imperial forces are not what they seem. Another great addition to the series.
3.5 stars rounded up to 4 for Carly and Skard’s alien love story 🛸 Carly was abducted and sent to a “pleasure planet” for her tormentors to be creepy voyeurs. Skard’s crashed into the planets ocean in his escape pod. The story that follows is creative alien mayhem. There’s plenty of smut (I mean it’s a pleasure planet yall 😂, what do we expect), but also lots of tender moments.
Carly is an incredibly competent heroine. Shes about 6 feet tall and built like an incredible fighting machine. She’s also a widow, who got into security to prevent deaths like her late husbands from happening again. Skard has the typical mating fevers we see in this series, but I loved that his story differed from the previous 2.
What I liked: Alien smut 🛸 Action, adventure, and twists 〰️🔫 Competent heroine, Carly is no withering woman. She is smart and is a warrior in her own right Plenty of supporting characters, some of whom will surprise you 👀 New alien planet, in prior books we only got to see the hunting planets Competitions on the pleasure planet. It had a sort of game style to it with a leader board attached New types of aliens
What I didn’t like: At times I felt disengaged from the plot. It’s probably a “me not the book” situation. But I didn’t always feel like I couldn’t put it down The ending was a bit fast. I wish we’d got to see epilogues for the characters we fell in love with in the book
FAQ: Dual POV Slight OM/OW drama- it’s a pleasure island and people want to rank on the scoreboard so both get propositioned or somewhat assaulted 😬🙃 HFN No pregnancy
TLDR; A new spin on alien romances where both hero and heroine are trying to escape the planet, with time travel and plenty of tasty futuristic vibes to get lost in ♥️

I have been on a Sci Fi binge and at the moment that is Tana Stone's work. Each series I have read get better and better. I love that anything goes when reading sci fi and that is what Tana gives readers. The Sky Clan of the Taori is a steamy sci fi romance series as are her other series. We met the Taori briefly in another of her series. In this book, the Taori hot and sexy alpha alien men travelling across galaxies to fight an evil that has been around for hundreds of years. However, they are pulled in time and place hundreds of years in the future. What they find is others in need of help or they die. I really like Tana's writing and her characters are totally believable. There is fun, action and so much more between the pages. If you are a lover of sci fi with sexy aliens and hot romance you will love Tana's work.
The Sky Clan of the Taori is an alien romance series that follows the immortal army of Taori. A Taori is an alien species plagued with a mating fever called the Quaibyn that takes place every 10 years. If the fever goes unquenched, the Taori goes insane, becoming Sythians, which is the very plaque that the brothers of the sky clan are hunting. The Taori are horned aliens with the skin tone of humans, but covered in dark tribal-lil tattoos that detail their destinies. They have dark hair, colored eyes, ram-like horns and tails. They turn into Sythians when they go crazy from the Quaibyn, which are dragon-like creatures. At least, I think they do, if I read the details correctly. It was rather confusing. Anyway, the sky clan winds up flying through a time portal in space that puts them four hundred years into the future in Earth’s galaxy. Their ship is attacked and blown from the sky by a species called the Xulonians. The Xulonians are a weak, paranoid species that avoids interaction with other species, secluding themselves to their dying planet. They mined their own planet until it became unable to sustain a pleasant life, and the wealthiest of their species escape by the means of entertainment. Most of the Taori boarded escape pods and fled the destruction of their ship, landing on the planet of Xulon and its special Moorla moons, which were pleasure moons for the purpose of entertainment. During this futuristic timeline, Hettite slavers overtake an Empire ship that held several humans of the empire, most scientists, killing all the men and taking the women hostage. The Hettite sold the female humans to the Xulonians, who placed the humans onto their Moorla moons. This series covers the survival of these female humans and male Taoris as they fight for survival on these moons.
Seduce is book three of the series, and follows a Taori alien named Skard who was a navigations officer for the Taori Sky Clan and his human counterpart Carlita (aka Carly), who was a security officer for the Empire ship, both of which landed on the pleasure Moorla moon, where the Xulonians paid to watch (or participate using avatars) other species have sex.
This book was very different from the last two. The last two involved the main characters running for their lives on the hunting moon and in effect, having to kill their pursuers. This book had very little killing. I think only one Xulonian was killed at the end. The entire book involved Skard and Carly participating in a sex driven competition amongst other players. There was a leader board and only the top “players” were given accommodations like food and better shelter. They had an endless flow of spirits, dragged food and even air that increased their libidos. All this sexual atmosphere while a Taori is fighting his Quaibyn. The only adventure was the jealousy that manifested between Carly and Skard when the other party was flirted with or hit on. Eventually they escaped with other slaves and joined their free comrades from the prior books.
Skard and Carly develop a strong bond and feelings for each other along the journey, ultimately falling in love. There was a lot of lust in this book, almost too much for that matter, which I enjoyed opposed to the non-stop adventure. The romance scenes are every bit of fire one would hope for. Carly fought the bond the hardest because she lost her husband and the love of her life two years prior. She locked away her heart and threw away the key, afraid of loving again.
I recommend the read, if this is your cup of tea. Now that I’ve invested my time into the plot, I will undoubtedly read the remaining books in this series.

This book was about Carly and skard. They are both prisoners on the last moon. When Carly is captured and put as one of the contestants who has to perform sexual acts in order to move up the ranks and be able to have food and better shelter skard tries to make sure that he protects her at all costs. They end up pretending to be mates and that is to make sure that skard isn't it Put in a position with other women since he is afflicted by the mating fever. I definitely like this book more than the last 1. And I will for sure be reading the next book in the series. The only thing that I was confused about was that in the book they talked about another island on this moon and we don't really know if there's anybody else that is on the island on that moon.
Don't read below if you don't want spoilers. This is for my benefit.
It starts out with Carly on the beach of the lust moon where she meets S. He stays in the jungle while Carly is taken to the lust camp. She's told she has to compete in something so that she can have food. Stays back enough to wear he can watch over her and make sure that she's OK. They end up finding about S and they make him a contestant as well. And because of this they make sure that they try and tell everyone that their mates so that they don't have to be involved in the contest with all of the other people that are involved in the last competition. They meet a few people that are humans and they become friends with them. They end up trying to find a way to escape the moon and so they have to figure out where the ship would be for them to use as an escape. They end up finding a hidden staircase up into this ship that watches over all of the contestants. They find out that the ship is hovering over the camp and the aliens are watching all of the moves for the last moon. The end up also finding out that some of the people that are a part of the competition are actually avatars being controlled by the aliens who are watching them. They find a ship that they will be able to use but they go back to try and find a way to get their friends onto the ship so they can all escape. At the beginning of the book S had found a Volcano and he didn't really think much of it. At the end of the book the Volcano is the driving force for all of the people to go up the stairway and get onto the ship. One of the woman who was a really mean person through the book Turns on them and she ends up actually shooting the alien even though that she had turned on the people. So she had turned her back on them at 1st and then she changed her mind because she realized that the alien lied to her. They were able to get onto the ship and escape and they found the 2 other ships of the previous books that were on the hunting moon's.The next book sounds like it's going to be about the leader from the ship of the male aliens and it sounds like hes on the Gladiator moon.
🔥 “You are mine, and I’m going to claim you for everyone to see.” ~~~ Carly is a badass! She’s had to work hard to be part of the imperial’s forces and has always been judged based on the fact that she was a woman. And she’s one woman who can definitely take care of herself. But, after losing her husband, she’s trying to avoid attachments of any kind. But Carly is fierce, tough, loyal and protective. I absolutely adored that six feet tall, broad-shouldered and muscled beauty!
Skard is the Taori’s ship navigation officer and the youngest Taori on board. He’s one huge, dangerous, strong and fearsome male. I loved that he could remain calm and level headed when facing an unknown situation. Even more, I loved his possessiveness, protectiveness and honor. Skard is absolutely irresistible and I loved everything about him!
Everything that happened between Carly and Skard was spectacular! From the moment they met, their attraction was strong but Carly was determined not to let anyone close to her ever again. But then she triggers his Quaibyn. A Taori discovering his mate and dealing with a mating fever on a lust moon… What could go wrong? Oh, I adored those two together! They were truly a force to be reckoned with and quite the badass team. I loved the respect they had for each other and how they challenged one another. I loved that, even though Carly’s tough and can take care of herself, Skard managed to show her how good it is to just let go and allow him to take charge. Carly and Skard were so perfect together and their chemistry was fantastic! And when they finally gave in to the undeniable pull for one another, the passionate moments they shared were flaming hot and so spicy and I couldn’t get enough! Honestly, Skard’s dirty talk, dominance and possessiveness were hot AF! And that naughty tail… 😏
In addition, the storyline was absolutely fantastic! Not everything on the lust moon is as it appears and not everyone is who they claim to be. And the Xulonians are despicable, only seeking amusement and credits and not caring who gets hurt along the way. Even more, the empire is hiding more secrets than expected. All the suspense and revelations kept me glued to the pages till the very end.
Overall, Seduce is another page-turning, exciting and sexy addition to the series. It’s filled with danger, action, suspense, twists, blazing hot passion and spectacular characters.
I absolutely loved it and cannot wait to see what happens next!
I really enjoyed Skard and Carly’s alien-human with a side of kidnapping and sex reality show suspense tale. I love a book with a sexy alpha hero and a sexy, smart heroine. The story was well written and included continuing the good world building from the other books in the series, witty dialogue, three dimensional characters, and an engaging storyline. Carly is a human woman who works in security for the Empire. Her transport ship is attacked and all the females are taken by slavers and brought to the entertainment moons around the planet Xulan. Skard is a Taori warrior whose spaceship goes through a temporal wormhole and is attacked when it enters Xulan airspace. His escape pod ends up on the same entertainment moon as Carly. They are on the lust moon, where sex is required for viewers pleasure. Skard runs into Carly once he leaves his escape pod and realizes she is his mate due to the Taori mating fever he is suffering. Thus begins Skard and Carly exciting, intense, and surprising journey to their HEA. Despite being on an entertainment show where sex is a requirement, this is not a dubcon or noncon situation. Skard and Carly’s relationship develops organically without forced intimacy. The story includes all the goodness that you’d expect from this genre - fighting, dangerous situations, alien physiology and cultures, evil actors, loyal friends, tragic back stories, mystical coincidences, snark, mystery, plot twists, and laughs. I will definitely be reading more of this series.
I am loving this latest series! The characters are some of the best written by the author, the world building is phenomenal and the stories make me want to binge read the series over and over until the next book releases.
Carly was a security officer on an imperial transport ship hijacked by Hettite slavers and sold to the Xulonians. She was brought to the pleasure planet to basically do the horizontal mombo for the viewing pleasure of the elite. Depending on how high contestants rank on the leader board determines their rewards (jewelry, food, better quarters, etc). Carly is six feet talk, very muscular, widowed and not interested in male entanglements.
Skard was the navigational officer in the Taori battleship. His ship was blown up by the Xulon after it was sucked into a temporal wormhole dropping them 500 years in the future. Many of the warriors were able to get to escape pods to flee the ship before it exploded. His ended up crash landing in the sea on the pleasure planet. The wormhole also has triggered the Quaibyn mating fever.
Skard meets Carly in the jungle and they decide to work together to get off the planet. He gets caught in her pod and Carly says they are mates. They become favored contestants, discover the Xulonian ship hovering over the contestant area and when a natural disaster hits the island they and a few of their friends are able to escape and reconnect with more Taori warriors.
This is a fantastic read that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. It’s a Syfy alien romance of Skard the navigational officer on a Taori battleship that was blown up by the Xulon after being sucked into a wormhole going 500 years into the future and Carly who’s a security officer on an imperial transport ship hijaked by Hittite slavers and sold to the Xulonians. They are on the Xulonian pleasure moon where they are expected to play the Xulons games. Carly can take care of herself and being a badass isn’t about to let them make her play their games. Skard is huge dangerous and strong and when they meet he realizes she’s his mate when she triggers his Quaibyn. I absolutely loved these two together they were both a badass team together. Their chemistry together was hot and their bantering made for a steamy passionate read. These two had great moments together with action suspense intrigue danger twists steam passion romance and love. Them along with other spectacular characters along the way made for an absolutely delightful read. The storyline and characters kept my interest from start to finish. I can’t wait to see what happens next. I highly recommend this book.
I received an advanced copy of this book and absolutely delighted to leave my honest review.
I really enjoyed this story. The Taori have been thrust into the future 500 years into a galaxy not explored by them. They have been attacked by the planet Xulon. Their ship is destroyed, and they have evacuated into escape pods. Some have landed on the 3 moons of Xulon. A ship of the empire containing humans was attacked by Hettite slavers, the men killed, and the women have been sold to the Xulons and spread among the 3 moons as well. Carly wakes up on the beach of the lust moon. Great. She's been celibate since her husband died several years ago. Skard's escape pod has landed on the lust moon. He has no idea about the games played by the Xulonians on their moons, but he is about to be a pawn in their sex games. The idyllic looking moon is the perfect place for a Taori to slake his mating fever. Can Carly help Skard with his fever? Can they figure out how to escape the moon and meet up with their shipmates?
I am really loving the series of the Taori after their battleship was destroyed by the Xulonians because they entered their airspace. These are stories that are coming out from each warrior who has landed in an escape pod on the pleasure moons of the Xulonians.
This is the story of Skard of the Taori and how he meets his mate Carly who is an officer for the empire and has been taken by the Xulonians and along with Skard, wakes up on the lust moon. The storyline is fantastic and the characters that they meet our strong and really bring the story out of their individual struggles. There is a happy ending but the book ends leading to the next story, but this one is about their commander Kalesh Naz.
I was given an advanced copy of this book to read and review with my honest and fair opinion.
Another engrossing, page turning, steamy, action filled story I couldn't put down. Our characters: Taori warrior, Skard the navigational officer, whose pod lands on the broadcasting Moorla lust moon for the Xulonians pleasure and our human, Carly a security officer who was taken by slavers were likable characters. They meet on the beach, and they both refuse to participate in the lustful games on the pleasure island on the moon, having one desire to escape. As they explore the island for a way to escape, Skard battles his mating fever to the attractive Carly. The storyline kept me entertained in this enjoyable ARC that I received and volunteer to read and review.
This series of the Taori and humans and... just a big WOW. I am still a huge fan! This story is just as good as the previous ones in this series. Again and again this author manages to pull new worlds out of her hat and new like really strange "aliens". Of course the aliens should often times be the humans, but who cares? The story is just so captivating. I have read other stories by this author and this one is no exception to how good it is. Now the same question pops in my mind, how long until the next one? Tomorrow?
I received an Advanced Readers Copy of this story and am so very voluntarily posting this review.
The third book in theSky Clan of the Taori series. Skard the navigational officer on a Taori battleship and human Carly who was the security officer on an imperial transport ship, have been brought to the Lust moon by their captors. They both meet when they are forced together. There is suspense, drama, danger, villans, a volcano, and romance. There is still a member missing from each of their crafts. I want to read the next book to see what is going to happen next. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
First - I want to point out that there is a SMALL part of audio missing from the end of chapter 38 but your only missing a small spicy 🌶️ scene (which there are plenty of)
Secondly, can we talk about Marcio’s voice and the dirty talk??? Yaaassssss please!!
I love Tana Stone and wish this series was continued on audible. I work a lot so hopefully I’ll have time to sit down and read the rest of the series to stay caught up.
As with the other book in this series this story is just as suspenseful and delightful. The story centers around Carly and Skard and the pleasure moon that they are both on for the amusement of the Xulonian as contestants. Neither Skard nor Carly are interested in participating for the Xulonian's. Things are fine until the lust triggers Skard's mating fever. The story is quirky, entertaining, exciting, with great characters. Plenty of sizzling steam. Loved the story.
Carly and Skard are thrust into each other’s company when they both land up on the lust moon. The Xulonians are a despicable race of aliens who enjoy watching other species mate amongst other things. Skard is determined to find a way off of the moon and he and Carly team up as a mates couple (by chance). I really enjoyed this story and really like the ending. Look forward to the next book very much.
I received an ARC in exchange for leaving a review.
another wild ride with the Taori, having landed on the Lust moon, his Mating fever gets triggered when he comes into contact with one of the human females who had been placed there as a "contestant". Thankfully she is almost as confused as he is about all the goings on in this place and is just trying to get off and find her other shipmates like he is. This is a story filled with tons of steam, emotions, action and adventure. loads of great characters and was a lot of fun to read.
When both Skard of the Taori and Carly of the Imperial Army are tossed onto the same twisted moon of the Xulonians. ..ANYTHING can happen! This one’s Got it all…Death defying action…mystery…seduction…intrigue …horror totally wrapped up in triple 🔥🔥🔥sizzle that just doesn’t stop there. Anything catastrophic can happen!! This is an edge of your seat story that I simply couldn’t put down! This is my honest opinion!
This is book three and the story of Skard. He was stranded on the lust moon. It’s all a game there with carnal entertainment. Skard meets a human female named Carly, whilst he is hiding. Carly is an officer and clever. Although they are attracted to one another they quickly realize that they need a plan to get off the lust moon. This one is fun and has twists with low angst. Read On!
I really like this series… The Sky Clan of the Taori Warriors are every girl’s dream. Skard and Carly both end up on the alien lust moon after their ships were attacked. They quickly join forces to outwit the voyeur’s running the twisted operation… I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily.
Wow of all the moons to be stranded on this has got to be my favorite. Skard and Carly find themselves in a compromising position when she inadvertently blurts out that they are bonded mates. Ooops. Despite the pretense, they find themselves caught up in all that the moon has to offer. In order to win they have to partake. This is one 🔥🔥intoxicating adventure

I was wondering how the story will unfold in the lust moon and this was the answer. An apt title.
Of course, there is action, in and out of bed, literally and figuratively. And danger comes in a different form. This one made me curious what would happen when all the Taori's are united again.
I love this series and loved this book. This time the book is set in the lust moon, rather than the hunting moon the previous ones were set on. An Interesting combination, especially when stuck with a Taori Warrior, Skard, who is going into the mating fever. As always this had a great storyline with some action and fantastic, imaginative characters.
Another brilliant instalment in the Taori books!! I was so excited to receive an ARC from Tana Stone of Seduce and quickly dived in! I loved reading Skard and Carly’s story and the lust moon was just as fun and spicy as I was hoping!!
Can’t wait to read Naz’s story next!!
(I received an ARC from Tana Stone but am giving this review completely of my own free will)
The book was well written and kept your attention from beginning to end. It has everything you want in a romance about aliens, kidnapping, drama, finding their friends, love, and steamy sexy scenes that sizzles but not over the top with awesome characters. A must buy and keep them coming they are awesome.
This was good a lot of S-e-x. Well they are trapped on the Lust Moon. Skard was determine to find those who shot his ship down. He finds Carly who starts his mating fever. Together they work to get off the lust moon. They uncover a secret that their captures are keeping. This was a good read.
OMG....I love this series! Skard is gorgeous n so is Carly, so real. Usually a 3rd book in a series is starting to become repetitive n lack lustre, but this one is as good as the first. The characters are real. The settings feel right. The language is exact. The coitus is satisfying without being too over the top.
Kind of like forced Love Island. It was light and fun but not very deep. Skard is your average mating fever instant mate kind of guy. Carly was strong and powerful which i liked. It was quite a short, fast-paced read which made it a page turner but didn’t really lend itself to any deep character building. I enjoyed it though.
