I should break it off and push her away, but she's just too addicting.

The heart wants what the heart wants, and Thomas West has always wanted Gabby to be his.
He didn’t think it would ever happen.
Thomas knew she had feelings for his brother, Dom.
Why wouldn’t she?
Dom is great. Hell, he lives in awe of his older brother, too.
All the girls fall at his feet and he doesn’t have anything to hold him back.

Thomas isn’t jealous of his older brother, but he does wish things could be easy in his life, too.
Still, he just wants Gabby, and when she seems to give him the green light, Thomas has never been happier.
Yet, appearances aren’t always what they seem.

Betrayed, bruised, and broken, Thomas goes off to lick his wounds.
The last thing he expected was to find a woman staring at him with hunger in her eyes—a woman who looks so much like Gabby that, at first, he thought she was.

It was wrong, but it felt good for a woman to want him around for a change--him and not his brother.

Lyla didn’t mind the way he spoke. She accepted him. Thomas didn’t count on Lyla being so potent—so irresistible...

Now… it’s much too late.

Welcome back to the Savage Brothers 2nd Generation! Dragon may have got his woman rather easily, but Thomas is finding out things aren't ever going to be easy for him. Luckily, with his parents' blood running in his veins he's sure to rise to the occasion.
This is a prequel to Breaking Her and should be read first as it ends where Breaking Her will take up.

If you're new to the series it can be read as a standalone.

Series Order to Date:

Taking Her Down--- Kayden and Chains (Dragon and Nicole's Daughter)
Keeping Her--- Jasmine and Grunt (Dancer and Carrie's Daughter)
Betraying Her---Thomas's beginning (Dragon and Nicole's youngest son)
Breaking Her---Thomas and Lyla (Final book for Thomas)

I'm just a simple small town country girl, haunted by Alpha Men who talk in my head 24 hours a day.

I knew I wanted to write when it became clear I couldn't be happy with just viewing other people's stories. I always wanted to rewrite them.

Like why did Jack have to die? Why couldn't Rose move her butt over? Because that was a huge piece of wood she was on, people.

Happy Endings should be fought for, but they should always happen. Mine might take some curves and twists, but they eventually get there.

Having published over fifty stories, it always feels surreal that this is my life. Hitting USA Today had me crying for days, but nothing is more special than hearing from readers that they loved one of my books.

Thomas and Dom are tricked and pitted against each other by a bitch. I think the two of them are either too naive or they got carried away by the wrong head.
Thomas I even understand his insecurity and desire to be loved by himself. But Dom let me down by being tricked by the bitch so easily.
Gabby is a despicable cow, a real bitch who plays with Thomas' feelings and wants to control Dom. She's going on my abominable antagonist shit list and I want her to totally fucked up and have a miserable life to learn how to be a decent human being. She manipulates her parents and is a spoiled brat. Her parents should be ashamed of the abject human being she's become. An acceptable punishment would be for her to get pregnant by a prospect or someone quite irrelevant within the club. For her to learn to be a decent person.
Lyla is a doll, sweet and of good character. She didn't deserve to be treated like a poor replacement for the bitch Gabby. I sincerely hope she makes Thomas grovel long and painfully.

This was ok, not great… but it’s free with KU and short (less than 150 pages). It’s also not a standalone, Thomas and Lyla’s story carries over to the next book. I didn’t read the first two books, and I never felt lost in this one, but the format is unusual… and the H and h’s relationship takes a backseat for much of the book.

The first 40-ish% follows the love triangle of Thomas, Dom and Gabby. During this time, we switch between their POV’s basically getting the backstory on their relationship. I REALLY hope Gabby will provide the crazy ex/wannabe OW to Dom’s book and not the h because I don’t see how the author can make her likable.

After all that, we FINALLY get to Thomas meeting Lyla at the bar when he approaches her because she’s a dead-ringer for Gabby. (in the blurb) Theirs is a slow-burn, friends-to-lovers type of romance… it’s kind of sweet. Thomas isn’t the typical macho/alpha biker dude. He has a stutter and is quite sensitive/self-conscious of it. He’s been hung up on Gabby for years, but the relationship has never gone beyond occasional heavy petting session. Lyla is the sweet, virgin, I’ve never seen a cock in RL type of h.

Bottom Line- Ok read, but there isn’t a lot to work with. This isn’t the typical gritty MC read. There’s very little drama, no alphaholes, and no club business. There aren’t any “twinkies” skanking about, and the only OW drama comes from Gabby who basically used Thomas to make his bro jealous… and Thomas HATES her before he ever meets Lyla. (which honestly negated any angst for me) No double-dipping or competition for Lyla.

A few words, and it was as though I had never left the Savage Brothers’ world.

As soon as Marie announced this story, I was beyond thrilled. Who wouldn’t want a little bonus novella inside one of their favorite series. Within the first chapter, I understood the reason this needed to happen.

This is the beginning. Betrayed by those closest to him, Thomas ends up face to face with a woman he should have walked away from. One betrayal leads him straight into another, but this one is by his own choice. The different views offer a perspective from every angle, and some will have you shaking your head.

In the moment that Lyla and Thomas meet, the chemistry between them reverberates around the room. It’s the underlying thoughts that cause an imbalance in what could have been perfection. The very first thing Thomas notices about her is her resemblance to Gabby. That thought taints everything that transpires between them.

A chance meeting, an immediate connection, evolving into an easy friendship. All the while, a connection permeates the world around them. It’s consuming to the utmost degree, yet, there’s so much more to it than that.

This prequel novella packs a hell of an emotional punch. The actions of others and the ripple effect of anguish they cause felt like my heart was being torn out. The love we’ve seen grow and flourish inside the West family is being tested, and there’s hurt flooding their veins.

Betraying Her was a story I didn’t know I needed. We’ve had a glimpse of the aftermath, but here we get a glimpse at the beginning. We get to see the sweetness before it becomes betrayal and heartbreak. We get to see a friendship begin, evolving into a soul deep connection that is put to the test.

As always, Marie brings the heat, the wit, and the feels. Betraying Her was the perfect introduction to Thomas and Lyla’s story. An all-consuming blend of intoxicating chemistry, an alpha hero, a sweet heroine, and heartbreaking feels, set inside a world that instills in you the love these characters have for one another.

This is a story of betrayal and heartache. But also a story of redemption. It a beautiful portrait of lives that we have missed. A story of brothers trying to protect one another from a woman who doesn't deserve either one.

I absolutely love the rollar coaster ride that Jordan Marie can put us through. The vivid emotions that she makes us feel is uniquely her own style. She has a beautiful soul and a brilliant mind. Couldn't put this down even if I tried. Didn’t want to either.

What a love triangle this book is!!! Thomas and Dom both care for Gabby but Gabby has not been honest with them. Thomas always lived in the shadow of his big brother, Dom. Thomas wants to step out on his own and lead his own life. I love how Thomas is starting to come into his own, becoming a man of integrity and some responsibility. He meets Lyla and they become best friends. She sees who Thomas really can be. I loved Thomas! He’s so sweet and courageous. Can’t wait to see what happens with these 4 characters!

Thomas is the son of legendary Detroit "Dragon" West, President of the Savage Bros. MC and the younger brother to Dom. Living in the shadows of these two larger than life men wasn't bad enough, Thomas also suffered from a stuttering problem all his life. Dom always protected him even without Thomas asking or wanting it. He felt he was a disappointment to his father, thinking Dragon saw Thomas's stuttering as a weakness. So it shouldn't have been a surprise that Gabby was only leading him on. Still, Thomas, and unfortunately, Dom, have loved Gabby their entire lives. That love overshadowed and ignored all the signs that Gabby is not the woman they both thought she was.

Faced with what felt like the ultimate betrayal, Thomas took off for parts unknown. Imagine his surprise when he comes face-to-face with a woman that strikes an eerie resemblance to the one woman Thomas is trying to forget.

Once their paths crossed, Thomas and Lyla were drawn to each other and couldn't help their attraction. But not all is what it seems. While Lyla is quickly falling for the strong yet sweet Thomas, Thomas is filled with guilt for leading Lyla on while he deals with all these unresolved issues surrounding his family and the woman that's torn his world apart.

I have always had a soft spot for Thomas. He's a perfect blend of his parents. And somewhere along the way Thomas became the overlooked middle child - not the first born son who's just like their alpha dad and not the sweet baby of the family like his sister. This is the start of Thomas's story and journey in finding himself. He's made mistakes, a few big ones, but all is not lost. He is still Dragon West's son and there's a fire in his blood. This prequel pulls all the emotions out and you can't help but hope that somehow Thomas can find his way to Lyla and make things right. She's a light he so badly needs, his sunshine. She's his one. Thomas will have to fight past his demons and prove to everyone that he is just as alpha as the other West men.

I cannot wait for the rest of Thomas and Lyla's story!!

Wow!!! Talk about pulling on every single emotion!!! This story absolutely did that!!! I was so angry through about two-thirds of it! I'm talking angry enough to chew nails and spit tacks!!! But I often wanted to cry, as well. And this is only the beginning of Thomas's story. I absolutely can't wait for the rest! Once again, Jordan Marie has given her readers characters they with either love or hate with extreme prejudice!!!

Fingers crossed Gabby and Dom don't end up together. Lyla and Thomas dont need that negative energy in their lives. Can't wait for next month

This book was one full of drama just because of a single deranged woman who comes between brothers.

▪️Dom, the elder one was all alpha dog but such a fool led by his dick when it comes to Gabby.
▪️Thomas, the hero of this book was always seen as a weak guy or that's what he thinks when it comes to everyone's thought of him. Has an inferior complex, eventhough he's a strong man other than his stutter, but I have to admit it added a cuteness factor to him. He loved Gabby without knowing she's just playing him. I felt for him but the way things went with Lyla didn't sit well with me.
▪️Lyla, the lookalike of Gabby was anything like her but a sweet girl and she instantly falls for Thomas. But what grated me was how she was quick to want to hang onto Thomas even when he wants to 'friend zone' her. I hope she grows a backbone and wouldn't show that 'come love me' look everytime she looks at him
▪️Gabby, the evil doppelganger was a manipulator and plays things for her own agenda without remorse and it looks like her end goal was Dom. I hope he would escape from her clutches. Through all her manipulations, she seems to think she's right and that she's the victim which was the highlight .

The story was interesting enough but the writing was not as sensational as it could have been. Since it's a prequel novella, I hope the main book will be more engaging.

Wow.

Once I opened this book, I could not put it down for the life of me. I couldn’t even believe I was finished, as I thought I had just opened it. It was that enthralling.

This story was like a time warp, stepping back into the Savage world, everything you’d wanted. It was also a chance to finally understand the behind the scene events that were hinted at in the previous books…it’s full circle now.

This story dives into Thomas’ story, but with the unique twist of seeing things from other characters POV’s as well, which really helps.

I truly feel for Thomas’ character, my heart goes to him and what it must feel like for him to be around his brother and father. He’s always felt as if he was hidden in their shadows, and that they “had” to protect him. This is the book where you see him get a chance to break free and take a stand for himself, although his emotions create definite whirlwind effect.

We were also introduced to Lyla, again she was a character hinted at in the last Savage generation book. Her and Thomas had a lot of similarities when it came to growing up in MC’s and not fully feeling as if it’s their place, fully. Although she does come off as a little naive, she seems so innocent and refreshing, something I think that compliments Thomas well, something I think he’s starving for.

I don’t want to give any spoilers away, but oh man …..I am on edge for the next book. Especially to see how everything can come back around for our lovely couple. And honestly the rest of the savage family.

Also, ps….there’s a certain character in this book and I just wanted to scream! Bravo Jordan for making me feel such strong emotions. I honestly just get so sucked in and then I’m on an emotional roller coaster. I wouldn’t have it any other way though.

Poor Thomas, his life hasn't been the easiest with some things beyond his control. He also fell in love with the most selfish girl out there, Gabby, who just led him on while chasing his older brother (and yes he knew she had feelings for his brother). Yeah, I wasn't a fan of hers, that's for sure. He's finally had enough of everything, the feeling he isn't taken seriously, or the lying by his brother & Gabby so he starts pulling away which is when he comes across a girl named, Lyla, who ironically enough could be Gabby's twin. They become friends, and while they have sparks flying, he knows he shouldn't go down that road with her because of his life which he hasn't been upfront about. Finally, he can't resist her any longer so they light the sheets on fire, but things are destroyed pretty quickly afterward for reasons I won't talk about. And that means Jordan Marie tried to kill me with the cliffhanger so now I'm impatiently waiting on the next book while coming up with creative names of the colorful variety to call her LOL! So yeah, that's enough out of me so I'll end with HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDING TO ALL!

I’ve patiently waited for Thomas to have his story. I have a soft spot for him.  And neither he nor Jordan Marie disappointed.

Thomas finds himself getting a dose of reality.  He’s loved Gabby for what seems like a lifetime.  He’s patiently waited for her to realize the man he is. He’s also fought the bitterness of what seems like brotherly rivalry for Gabby. And just when he thinks it’s all worked out, Thomas realizes that all isn’t what it seems.

Once Thomas sees the light, he needs time.  But Fate had other plans in the form of a beautiful yet confusing girl named  Lyla. She’s so much like Gabby and yet so very different.  Thomas still feels some anger and worries if his attraction is warranted or just a means of justification. But Lyla sees past his often times shattered communication. She simply sees Thomas as a man, a desirable and worthwhile man.

A bigger problem is his heart and the fact that Lyla has ties to a rival MC that he needs to stay far away from. But once he crosses the line, he’s not sure which side he’s truly standing on.

Thomas is definitely a reminder that still waters run deep. He’s much more complex that what one thinks.  Absolutely loved this story.

OMG this was totally epic!
I've been waiting for Thomas, Lyla , Dom and Gabby's ( prequel) book.
Gabby is a spoiled brat who manipulates people to get what she wants. Dom and Thomas are brothers, who pine over the same girl. Crap goes down, things change. I love Thomas , he's bitter ( which I can totally understand) but I just want to hug him.. This is about change, challenges, growing up and learning to stand up for yourself. There is a long road of healing and forgiveness ahead. I literally can not wait to read the rest of their story. I'm rooting for Layla and Thomas. Gabby and Dom have a lot work to do. Right now I'm not a fan of those two. However that what makes this such an awesome book. Darn FINE writing, thank you Jordan.

I liked the book. I didn’t really care for Thomas that much though. He’s a whiner and sounds like a pussy which has nothing to do with his stutter. Gabby is a class A bitch and if she ends up with Dom there is no way I’m continuing with these books. Dom is just an ape from what it sounds like. As for Lyla, I hope she makes him grovel like hell in the next book. He doesn’t deserve her at all!

Yes it has finally arrived. Thomas is about to get his own story WOOHOO!! I have been patiently waiting for Thomas and Lyla’s story to unfold. Now, Betraying Her, is not actually their full story. Yes I know Jordan Marie is teasing us with their prologue as it were. How did Thomas and Lyla come to be, and I have to say creating this novel instead of just throwing in flashbacks in the main book was definitely the way to go for their story as their beginning has a lot going on.
Thomas, the middle child to Detroit “Dragon” West and Nicole, the total Mama and Papa OG’s of the Savage brothers MC saga, has not had an easy upbringing. Sure he was shown love and affection, but with his insecurities surrounding his speech impediment, Thomas always felt weak and seen as less than by his father and big brother Dom. Now this may be the case to some extent but I know that Dragon will be blaming himself for what Thomas is going through. Dom, being the eldest always took up for his ‘little bro’, and protected him from bullies. But Thomas is now a grown man and Dom is still treating him with kid gloves. In not wanting to hurt Thomas, Dom ends up doing the unthinkable. It is in no was deliberately callous but the Dom is not thinking with his big brain at this point.
Thomas was always able to defend himself, and in letting his big brother do it, he now feels that was a mistake and has led him down the road he now finds himself on. Thomas is more like his Mum that his Dad in the feelings department, he wants what his parents have. A love that lasts a lifetime and the one girl he thought he could have that with turns out to be the biggest mistake he will ever make.
I loved Thomas. He showed true strength and grit in the face of the betrayal landed on him by the two people he loved most in the world, Dom and Gabby (well that is a whole other story). He managed to surprise his brother with his strength, not just physically but emotionally with how he handled the situation, and now Thomas has some people to avoid (rightly so) and tough decisions to make about his future, enter the unexpected!
BTW Gabby is petty and selfish to the point of her own demise! Yay!! Although I probably shouldn’t be cheering for that but hey ho, she has annoyed me and I really do not like what she does to the boys!!!!!
Lyla, what can I say. She is young, sweet and looking for her person. She has had not her heart broken per se but putting herself out there and finding out the guy you are seeing is a slime ball and only interested in one thing as well as money and status, she kind of is a bit wary. When she spies the dark hunk of raging testosterone from across the bar Lyla is immediately drawn to him. They click and form a friendship that Lyla hopes to turn into more at some point. Falling hard for Thomas was easy, but when his past comes lurking around Lyla is left ripped open and bleeding (metaphorically). Thomas has however left a lasting impression and I am absolutely buzzing for the next part of their story to unfold. It should be EPIC.
If you love the Savage Brother’s MC books then you don’t want to miss out on reading Betraying Her! It is emotionally charged and will leave you begging for book 2. Enjoy xo❤️

Savage Brothers Second Generation - Book 3 - Betraying Her - Jordan Marie

This is book three in the second generation of the Savage Brothers MC and it was so well written. It focuses on Dominic and Thomas West the sons of the amazing Dragon, president of the Savage Brothers MC. They have both been in love with Gabby the daughter of Skull, the President of Devil's Blaze MC since they were small boys. Now they are all older and standing on their own feet the Brothers couldn't see the spiteful game of cat and mouse Gabby was playing them both at. Dom has always loved Gabby but spent his whole life trying to protect his younger brother Thomas from ever being hurt. He doesn’t want to be the cause of pain for T by having a relationship with Gabby. Thomas is shier, especially when he was experiencing difficulties with his stammer, than Dom and Dragon who are both larger than life, and he didn't want to hurt his brother and didn't know he was in a relationship with Gabby, and Gabby well she is a nightmare I'm sad to say. However, once the West boys find out the truth it's effects cause heartbreak for all three of them as they try to pick up the pieces once the truth is out. To try and get his head together Thomas has a chance meeting with a woman he first thinks is Gabby,  but once he gets closer he sees that although to some they look similar there are so many differences between Gabby and the beauty Lyla Ford. And the more time he has with her the more differences he notices, yes they look similar and that is what initially drew his eye but there is so much more to Lyla. He finds himself wanting to be around her, he enjoys sharing time with her and the fact that Lyla sees Thomas for the man that he is, not that he is Dom's younger brother or the son of Dragon.  She sees him, she wants to spend time with him, to her he is everything and Thomas finds those feelings intoxicating. The closer they become the more Thomas knows he needs to tell her the truth but he just can't do it and then it is too late the truth comes out and Lyla sees what she has missed all along. I feel for these two characters so much, it's heartbreaking the emotions Thomas is trying to deal with and the unintended hurt Lyla feels. Jordan Marie has done it again, another page turner and I cannot wait to see how these two beautiful souls can or even will find their way back to one another and hopefully realise what they could really have if they dare to try. I also hope Dom comes to his senses and sends Gabby packing for good as she definitely doesn't deserve to belong to a West man. I hope Dominic's story is not too far away. So much to look forward to! I loved we saw Nicole and her relationship with her son Thomas is beautiful. Also i have to mention, a now very grown up Mattie, road name Breaker, him and his dad Bull had me laughing out loud I cant wait to see more of them in the future too. Enjoy and Happy Reading.
5 out of 5 stars.

Thomas and Lyla preview! No redemption for Gabby imo!!

Holy Sh°+! I knew after how the second book ended that this book was going to be explosive and boy was I correct! Wow just wow!! Ok lets start with Thomas... Gosh I wanted to hug him and be his friend! My heart breaks for him and how he struggled with his stuttering. I truly feel he sees it as more of a weakness than Dom or his dad. However he's not completely faultless in how Dom treats him as he always lets him stand up for him instead if doing it himself. Also he may like Lyla and keep saying he only wants to be friends but he's giving her mixed signals!
Dom... The dumb@$$@$$@ry is strong with him and Gabby! Thomas is your brother but bc your too much of a wimp to confront him about your feelings for Gabby you allow her to control the situation, you and Thomas. Grow some balls!! She played you both!
Gabby... What a B;+©h!! I mean she is a spoiled, rich little girl playing two brothers against the other! She is a whining( you can lift hear her annoying voice in your head reading it), manipulative disgrace to be in the sisterhood! I want her girl card revoked! B;+©h!! I find it hard to believe there is any redeeming qualities in her or her character! I'm hoping her and Dom DO NOT get together, & her dad sees his little girl for what she is and what he's allowed and encouraged behavior! Please, Please don't let her and Dom get together! 🙏
Lyla... A good girl, sweet but also not blameless in this fecked love story! Thomas was up front with her about her looking like Gabby, he told her no about going further, she made the first move! He's A guy most won't stand down when a girl throws herself at them! Should be have slept with her? No! Should she open her little girl eyes and acknowledge that you can't force a guy to love you? YES! Thomas told her he wasn't ready for a relationship but that didn't stop her from kissing him did it!?! He told her he cared for her as a friend but she either ignored that or probably thought she could change his mind. Stupid stupid girl! Know there's an innocent child involved, two MC clubs about to go to war all because of her and Thomas's stupidity! Well to be honest its all Gabby's fault, she put this insanity train in motion!
This book pulls out a lot of emotions get ready!! Come on Breaking Her book 4, the next chapter for Thomas & Lyla!

WOW!!! Loved Loved Loved. ❤

This book was everything and more....I loved it. These books are the reason I fell in love with the MC Genre and I'm so happy to be back in The Savage Brothers world, I've missed it.

This story is about Thomas who's the youngest son of Dragon and Nicole.
My heart hurt for Thomas, I really felt his anguish at times. How much he struggles living in the shadow of his over protective brother Dom especially as he stands in the way when it comes to Gabby being his.

Things turn messy between Thomas, Dom and Gabby and Thomas is left feeling betrayed, hurt and angry. I really wanted to slap the sh!t out of Gabby the way she played the brothers off against each other, was despicable. She doesn't deserve either brother.

Thomas leaves to sort himself out and things get even more complicated when he meets Lyla a girl who's the double of the one he's trying to forget.
I loved the instant chemistry between Thomas and Lyla they just clicked straight away. Lyla is exactly what Thomas needs a girl who sees him for who he is.
The only problem is they are both keeping secrets about who they really are.

I'm beyond excited for the direction this book is heading and my adrenaline is through the roof for what's in store when the truth comes out, there will be some serious repercussions not just for Thomas but for Lyla too.
I hope Thomas will step up and show he is a man to be feared and respected just as much as his Father and Brother. I'm sure he will surprise us all.

Fingers crossed things work out for them as they're perfect for each other, I can't wait for the next book.
