The battle between the Cherubim and Angeli continues. Sentinels Anne Bonny, Con and Tyannah join in the fray as the shadowy Cherub Nyx unveils his master plan and the Angeli realize powers greater than their own might control their future.

Great characters and good world-building but I want more Cat and Broch, please. In the author's notes that very thing is promised for the next book (9), which puts me over the moon, hurray! I have throughly enjoyed this series and I am going to get book 9 as soon as I finish this review.
I tried to get book 9 but it hasn't been written yet, I am sad.
For the record, I have only ever loved all things Amy Vansant, and Kilty Devils just added to the obsession. Here Vansant gets into the gritty of the fight between the Angeli and the Cherbim, and it turns out that the decks are stacked. She adds humor and romance to the action and mystery that is compelling. It is always fun to read...and the epilogue! More please!
I enjoyed these books. There's humor, excitement, a bit of romance, interesting characters. Some of what happens is gruesome, it fits in the story though, just be prepared. I've read most of this author's books. Each of her series is different than the others. Well worth reading!
I wonder what's going to happen next?? The story is filled with excitement, humour and action/adventure. I find the twins Taksi and Casso fascinating and yet terrifying. It's all just a game to them...
This group of books is one of the most imaginative stories I have read. What a clever mind to have come to construct this idea! Loved all of them and did a marathon reading.
As a back story for Anne I found it too long and convoluted. Broch & Caitriona stories just roll along. This was slightly stilted but an explanation none the less and a good filler for the next instalment
I loved this book.. Never a dull moment with Anne and the rest of the characters in this story. The humour throughout the story had me laughing out loud. Each book gets more exciting, and I can't wait for the next book to come out. Seriously, this book is so well written that you will be cheering for Anne, Con and the rest of the characters battling the cherubs. The twists and turns keep you guessing. Well deserved 5 stars!
I enjoyed this third book in the series. I continue to like the regular characters and appreciate the addition of some new ones. The story was very entertaining. These are really short books but if you're in the mood for a quick, fun read it hits the spot.
