Opposites attract in this short and steamy romance about a curvy, nerdy English teacher and the tattooed alpha man who claims her.
Vee The last thing I’m looking for right after my breakup is a man. Especially one who is seriously not my type. Jake has tattoos, a motorcycle, and a dark past that still haunts him today. And sure, he’s tall, dark, and handsome. But he’s also arrogant and bossy. An alpha through and through. Besides, even if I liked Jake Stone - which I definitely don’t - guys like him don’t go for girls like me. Except if that’s true, why does it feel like he’s undressing me with his eyes?
Jake I want her as soon as I see her. Those little dresses that she wears would look better on my bedroom floor. And that hair would look better in my fist. Those curves are begging to be claimed. She's Miss Goody Two Shoes looking for her Mr. Right. Me? I’m Mr. Wrong. And I’m about to teach her how good it can feel to be bad.
Mr. Wrong is a short and steamy standalone romance. No cliffhangers! No cheating! And a happily ever after guaranteed.
Didn't really like this one. We only got one sex scene and not a good vibe with the story. You can write a short book and have it feel complete. I didn't get that here. Everything happened in a few days and I just wasn't sold on the romance.
I really loved that both H/h had vulnerabilities with self esteem. Both felt others passed judgement (judge a book by its cover) because of weight, size, tattoos, bad boy look. The author did a decent job for a novella touching on both insecurities. Definitely a trope that can be expanded on in further detail. Nearly fade to black scenes that were over in one paragraph. 2.5/⭐ 0.5/🌶
This is a super short story of Jake and Vee. Vee is a curvy girl who works as a teacher at a public high school. Jake is the man from the wrong side of the tracks who comes in to give a talk about not doing drugs. He is on probation and needs to do community service and ends up volunteering at the school. Initially Vee and Jake have a misunderstanding but then are attracted to each other but Jake doesn’t think he is good enough for her.
This was an extremely short book - 70 pages and so it moved super fast. Generally I found it okay. For some reason I didn’t find Vee or Jake that interesting. To me the most interesting character was the Principal and I’d love a book about her. It was a pretty straightforward book though it had some unlikely plot points and how Jake knew Vee’s ex was a bit too pat. The writing was fine. The characters didn’t seem that internally consistent though I did like Vee’s confidence. But I just wasn’t feeling it. Overall not a bad book and you could do much worse.

This steamy, instalove book is about Vee, a Creative Writing teacher and Jake Stone, a previously convicted drug addict / alcoholic who is on parole and trying to clean up his act. He volunteers to do a presentation at his old high school and meets Vee.
He lands up volunteering his time at the school whilst trying to convince the judge to write off his record as he really wants to open his own auto repair business.
Vee is a curvy teacher who has recently broken up with her ex boyfriend, an attorney who is trying to get back with her and he is also the lawyer that had Jake convicted in the first place. She is instantly attracted to Jake despite his past.
The story moved quickly and both characters were likeable and believable. It was a good quick read and the next book of this series follows on with Principal Reid, Vee's boss.
Jake gives a speech ay Vee's high school but they don't get to talk before he leaves. Later that evening as she is leaving Vee hears someone coming up behind her. She uses a chug and hits the person. However, its not who she thought. Jake saw her drop her keys and was trying to return them to her. The next day she feels bad and goes to apologize to him. Sparks fly between them and soon she is inviting him to go to the school's carnival with her. Is this the beginning of something between them?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Vee happens to be a curvy girl who teaches English at a public high school. Jake Stone, a bad-boy type with tattoos that delight the kids, is doing his community service by talking to kids about not getting involved with drugs. The kids love listening to him. Vee and Jake get off to a rough start, but they both feel the attraction. He knows she is looking for her “Mr. Wright”. He may be “Mr. Wrong”, but he just might be right for her.
4.5 stars. Vee, the female lead is a school teacher shocked to be attracted to Jake, the male lead and reformed bad boy trying to restart his life. Now they just need to work out if they can make their lives mesh…
This short story is dual POV, well written, and a fun, hot, sexy romp. I enjoyed the characters’ banter and the relationship development and the engagement with the world they’re in.
I received a complimentary copy from the author and this is my voluntary honest review.
Just a little more spice in the bedroom and this would have been a 5 star review. I liked the characters, even though with the hero spending all his time at the school I couldn't figure out when he actually worked at his paying job. All in all, a nice quick insta-love story that doesn't feel so instant, in a good way. I guess I prefer it when the characters take a moment to get to know each other a tad before getting it on.
Short novella of "curvy" good girl and reformed bad guy. Grammatically, the writing was fine, and it had a reasonable plot for the length. I was just a bit underwhelmed by the relationship between the main characters. Minimal steamy content- one brief scene, without much build up. The authors strength actually seemed to be fleshed out side characters & world, which would be great for a longer story, but didn't leave much for the main for an "instalove novella"
Good simple romance It's a good simple romance between Vee and Jake, the professor facing the former bad boy on his way to rehabilitation, with all the clichés that follow him and he's struggling to get rid of. The story is cute, tender and simple, a bit predictable but enjoyable to read, with a twist towards the end. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
Jake had a rough life and trying to clean up past mistakes isn't easy. Vee loves her job as a teacher but is carrying some self esteem issues from her past. They definitely get of to a rough start. But navigating life with each other is looking like a promising possibility. This adorable book with its wonderful characters are a really good read.
Love it. Nothing like a reformed bad boy meeting his forever girl! This was a cute read that was well worth an afternoon. Love HEAs and men with tattoos.

Everyone deserves a second chance, especially when love is at the center of the picture. For this gruff guy, he gets his in more ways than he could imagine
Mister Wrong is a curvy girl romance about an English teacher and a inmate on parole doing community service in her school. The relationship develops quickly with a steamy scene. This is a quick read if you need to fill a couple hours.
This was a short story about a hot guy who is trying to clean up his life while trying to make a difference to some school students and meeting one curvy confection who is a teacher and he wants to get to know better.
I think Jake is the most sweetest bad boy i ever read, i love him and his kindness, i also think that Vee was cute and crazy. It was a fun story but i didnt liked the sex scene here, it lacks. Starting the next book!
This is a wonderful short story romance. The only thing I wish was different about it, is that I wish it was longer. If you're into Opposites Attract or Bad boy/Good girl romance stories and looking for something to pass time, this book is the perfect choice.
This was a quick, but enjoyable, read. The characters were good and this could easily be expanded to learn more about them. My only complaint is that I wanted more! I recommend reading it!
I do love to read the short, hot romances. And your books are fabulous. Mister Wrong is all right by me. And let me know when Corrupted by the Captain comes out. I have a few fantasies about that one.
Missed it not having the proposal, and acceptance. And an epilogue showing a hint of their future happiness together includ ing the start of his business.
I found this story entertaining and hot, the chemistry between Vee and Jake is smokin' hot and the story is well written. It reads fast and it's engaging.
