Gathering At the Doorway is a book I wish existed many years ago when I was suffering from severe thanatophobia (fear of death). Having been raised in a religious background that taught me to fear a judgemental God, then majoring in the sciences in college, which said there was no God and no afterlife, I was left in a horrible state. Which was better? Annihilation at the moment my body ceased functioning or facing judgment that I knew I wasn't good enough for?

Because of my scientific background, I went the hard way studying other religions, science, philosophy, etc. to try to figure out this thing called the "afterlife". But, what really resonates with people is stories. We want to know what other people have experienced. Gathering at the Doorway allows you to peek into the lives of people who share their experiences with their loved ones in the afterlife.

My daughter, Shayna, passed away in June 2015, at the age of 15. Her story is told in Chapter 15, which is just one of the many synchronicities that have occurred around this book that I am proud to have contributed to.

If you are tired of fearing what will happen to you when you "die", or you're troubled by what has happened to your loved ones, this book will put your mind and your spirit at ease. Love never dies. And, neither do you.

Each chapter walks you through another author's journey, dream, visitation and so much more, and within that, you get to expand your own vision and awareness. Each author offers a perspective that allows you to remember your own dreams, visitations, and signs and validate what you already know... That Our bonds continue... This is pure magic wrapped in the authentic hearts that have poured their souls into these pages and woven together by Camille.

It is refreshing to see a beautiful project, a labor of love, come to life that is meant to give back and be of service. I appreciate that the earnings from the sales of this book help mental health and addiction research and care programs and so much more. I had the honor to share a chapter in this book and it wasn't until I received the hard copy that I was able to read all of the many wonderful stories contained within. This is a must read for anyone looking for more inspiration about what comes next after this life. There are chapters shared from all around the world. Thank you, Camille Dan, and all the authors who contributed a chapter. I've already gifted this to several people.

Conceived by author Camille Dan, who also penned Aaron’s Energy: An Unexpected Journey Through Grief and the Afterlife with My Brilliant Son, the new compilation is a beacon for those grieving. Many of the stories in the anthology are told by people who had not necessarily given deep thought to a connection with the other-side before they lost someone. Then, through unmistakable signs from their loved ones, there was no doubt about what was happening. Each author shares believable and tender stories of their family coming through in a myriad of ways to help squelch the immense pain of grief, especially that of losing children. The overarching message is that our loved ones don’t want us to suffer, and they are with us in a different energetic way. Each story in this anthology will dazzle and amaze you.
