My fake date is accidentally the girl I helped on prom night years ago.

How these things happen, I’ll never know.

I just need a fake date for my ex-girlfriend’s wedding.

No way I’m going to it alone. And let her think she got the best of me? Nope.

I’m happier single anyway. I have my company, my billions, and my planes.

But back to the drama…

I hire a girl to help me pretend my love life is put together, but she happens to be a blast from the past.

We never dated, but I was there on prom night when her life fell apart. And being the good guy I am, I let her cry on my shoulder.

But she’s not a girl anymore. And something about her has me wanting to break all the rules and give in.

I’m falling hard, but her? She’s still faking it for love.

Every good girl deserves a bad boy. ~ Weston

Another lovely story. This book follows Claire and Ryan. Ryan owns his own aviation company and works as a pillow while Claire teaches 4th grace. She’s hired to pretend to be dating Ryan who’s attending his ex-girlfriend’s wedding. I really enjoyed the story. It has a few unexpected turns. It a story you can sit and enjoy for an afternoon. Loved it

Great addition to the series! This one brings Ryan and Claire's story. Knowing each other since high school it's easy to pose as a couple .. until it no longer feels fake. The author brings strong characters and weaves an entertaining story I enjoyed reading. Loved and recommend this book.

“Fake it for Love” is a book in the excellent ‘Faux Love’ series of standalone novels by Weston Parker. It’s a slow-burn story about two people who happened to know each other in high school, but who never truly knew themselves, or each other, until now.

Ryan was a nerd in high school, relentlessly mocked and teased for his fascination with flying. Fast forward 15 years and he’s a wildly successful billionaire who turned that obsession with flying into an aviation empire. He’s been invited to a tropical island for the wedding of his ex-girlfriend to the guy she’d dumped him for, plus their high school reunion. He doesn’t want to go to either event but feels he must … and he doesn’t intend to go alone. Claire is less than thrilled to be attending her best friend’s wedding on a tropical island, because she dreads seeing any of their high school friends and acquaintances again. Claire’s father gambled away all their family’s assets when she was in high school, which was humiliating and forever changed the course of her life. Eventually she still managed to get an education and a career, but she’s sad and lonely, and still dealing with unresolved issues. Ryan was a shoulder to lean on during a pivotal night in her life, and she’s always regretted how she treated him. In dire need of money because financially she’s drowning in debt from student loans and other things, Claire signs on with a high-end escort service. She gets offered a job accompanying a billionaire two social events on the same island to which she has to go for the wedding and reunion. The drama and fireworks that follow are the equivalent of romance novel catnip.

Ryan and Claire are both likeable characters, and I especially wanted to reach into the book and hug him. The connection and chemistry that developed between them seemed authentic Flashback sequences are used judiciously to give us a really good perspective on things from their pasts. I thought the high school ‘friends’ from their shared past were a great example of the personalities so many of us encountered during those years. I don’t want to give specifics but there is an intense scene over and on the island that I thought was particularly well done. The conclusion of the story was satisfying, as was a scene Claire has with her father. I hope this fun series continues for a long time!

Just had to laugh

The book was typical fluff. No grammar errors, somewhat developed characters, light read.

What made me laugh was the h lives in Geneva NY, which is in the Finger Lakes area just west of Central New York. The h’s best friends live in “the city” which I am assuming is Manhattan and not Syracuse or Rochester. The h states to the H that she and her friends stay connected by “getting together for dinner and such”.

LOL it's a five to six hour drive from Geneva to NYC. Yes its shorter if she flies but she allegedly has serious credit card debt, though maybe this is why as she seems to be there a lot. Plus, when she and the H go to tell his parents in Manhattan about their engagement she gives him driving directions to her parents house in Geneva afterward. Umm, he’s a pilot who owns his own plane. Why not fly then rent a car? It would be a lot faster.

Oh, and if she got her teaching license “up North” she obviously went to SUNY Oswego. Great school for teachers so not sure why she’d be embarrassed to tell him. Guess it's because it's not an Ivy. She does spend a fair amount of the first third of the book acting like a spoilt brat with a major chip on her shoulder as “daddy gambled away all their money her senior year of high school.” She's also mean to the H early on, who is much nicer to her than I would be.

Still trying to figure out how an elementary school teacher in the Finger Lakes manages to find, and sign up with, an ultra exclusive Escort service that pays insane life changing money for dinner and fake relationships for her summer job.

I’m also wondering why said exclusive service would hook a client up with a woman he went to an ultra exclusive very small high school with for a wedding/class reunion without ever mentioning that fact that not only is the other party a former classmate but that the h is the maid of honor at the H’s ex-girlfriend’s wedding - an event he wants to have a fake gf at? Just plain silliness.

Ryan is a wealthy man and his high school reunion is coming up plus two of his class mates are getting married he doesn’t want to go alone so he contacts Faux. Claire used to be wealthy until her father gambled all their money away she found out right before her senior prom. Claire goes to collage to become a teacher and is drowning in debt so she signs up at Faux to make some money to get her out from under her debt. When Ryan signed up he needed a date to the wedding and the reunion he doesn’t care who. He was the nerd in school dreaming about becoming a pilot now he owns his own fleet of planes and makes good money. They meet up once at the island and are very surprised to find that they know each other you see they went to school together. At first they both think this is a bad ideal then they both consider that this might be an easy sale to their former classmates and proceed to fake it as a couple since they both don’t want to go to the events alone. But after spending some time together the sparks are there and they act on their feelings. Sometimes faking it turns into real true love and that they know they can overcome all the obstacles to find true love.

This is another great read from Weston the Faux series just keeps getting better and better.

True Love Can't be Faked!

I love this series from Weston Parker. It has a little bit of everything. There is always a side story that shows there are real-world issues out there, even in romance books.

Claire has been living on the edge of financial disaster for years now. Ever since her father gambled all of the family money away. She has a successful career, but she's sad and lonely. So, she signs up for the Faux Agency. This way she can make some money to pay off student debts, credit cards, and even get herself a down-payment for a house.

Ryan is the heart-broken billionaire who doesn't want to go to his former girlfriend's wedding on his own. He signs up to hire a woman to act as his fiance for the wedding and class reunion. The only problem is that the person the agency chooses is his former classmate - Claire.

I thought this slow-building romance is one of my favorites of this series so far. The two of them knew each other, casually in high school. But you could tell when the back-story was presented that they always had a connection. Love all of Weston's stories. They just get better and better each time I read them!

Finding Unexpected Love ❤❤⭐❤❤

A great addition to the fabulous Faux Love series. Each book can be read as a stand alone but I suggest you read them all. What are the chances of hiring a date for your high school ex's wedding only to be paired up with her best friend? Ryan and Claire are from an influential background and went to the same high school. The difference is Ryan was the nerdy guy always interested in planes while Claire's family fell from grace when her father lost everything to gambling. Ryan needs a date and Claire just wants to pay off student loans. Their fake engagement starts off rocky but evolves into passion and real feelings as they get to really knows each other. Is this just an island fling or can they make it work. They live different lifestyles and live in different areas and their time is running out...or is it. A great story I had trouble putting down. I love that there is no cliffhanger, no cheating, his/her POV and a HEA. Looking forward to the next story run Weston Parker.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book and happily purchased a copy for my favorites collection.

I really enjoy this book.

This is not the first time we have met the Faux agency, but I like the twist where the two people end up knowing each other.

Claire came from a rich family, but when her father gambled all of the family's money away, things changed.

Ryan was never one to fit into the "cool" kids. His head was always in the clouds. He just wanted to fly.

Claire and Ryan knew each other as much as teenagers can know each other. Ryan was also the ex-boyfriend of her very good friend.

Fast forward to 15 years, both Ryan and Claire need to find someone to go to a wedding and a class reunion and they do not want to go alone.

Claire needs money. She has school debt and credit card debt. Faux can be the solution to all of her financial issues.

Ryan doesn't have the time or the desire to find someone to bring. He signs up with Faux. But neither of them realize that they just signed up for the same functions.

You have to read this book to find out what happens when they meet for the first time. What will they do once they realize who their date will be for the next 3 weeks? Oh so much fun is to be had.

Ciao

I am voluntarily leaving this review. This was such a great book! The characters were relatable, the chemistry was steamy, the supporting characters were great and the drama/conflict was perfect! You’ll be hooked from page one!

Ryan was the nerd in high school, always with his head in the clouds. He finally made those dreams come true and now runs a successful aviation company. Claire had it all growing up until it all came tumbling down her senior year. When she was in need of some money, she turned to an escort agency to help pay her growing pile of bills. With her best friend’s wedding and their class reunion coming up, she agrees to her first escort job. Ryan didn’t want to show up as the same nerd so went to hire a date without even looking at who he was paired with. With their history, can they make this arrangement work or will the history of their bickering be to much?

I couldn’t put this book down. I can’t wait to see what else Weston Parker has in store for us!

This wasn’t quite ‘second chance’, and it wasn’t quite ‘enemies to lovers’ but it’s got a lot of those elements to it. Add those to the ‘fake relationship’ theme and I’m happier than a cat with her own garden of catnip. This might just be my favorite in the series. I’m also beginning to think that Miss Della has a whole lot more up her sleeve than anyone expects. I’m also starting to wonder if perhaps she’s running a slightly different business than most think they’re signing up with. I adored Claire and Ryan. They’re sweet. They’re funny. They’re a neurotic mess. They’re utterly perfect for one another. That ending had me laughing so hard I was nearly in tears, and I hate that I have to let go of these characters now.

This is a gem of a love story!

Ryan and Claire knew each other in high school. He was the shy nerd and she was in the popular group. He was in a relationship with her best friend. She treated him poorly, competing for her best friend’s attention. Ryan needs a date for his class reunion and the wedding of that ex, both which are happening on an island. Claire’s life went from rich to poor in the blink of an eye because of her father. For fifteen years she has managed her life well, but she in debt due to student loans and credit card debt. She takes a job with an escort service to pay the debt off. The job is on the same island. Low and behold, can you guess who the client is? Oh yes, Ryan. Such an interesting turn of events. This story is definitely a slow burn with twists and turns and even a bit scary. It’s attention getting and throughout it all. A must read, for sure.

Ryan was a nerd in Highschool and had everything he could dream of. Claire has been crushing on him for so long. Her world comes crashing down around her in her senior year or high school and Ryan is there to comfort her. Now all these years later Claire finds her self signing up to be an escort to make ends meet but doesn’t realize her first employer is Ryan. Can she keep her head out of the clouds and keep this as a job or will she let her true feelings get in the way. Ryan doesn’t want to go to his ex’s wedding without a date. Even though he’s a sexy nerdy billionaire he still resorts to Faux’s for a date but doesn’t even pay attention to who he’s selected. The girl from Highschool he let cry on his shoulder is no longer a girl but a gorgeous woman. Will he be able to keep his fake feelings that are scarily turning real in check?

I feel like this is the worst book ever, author is great, I'm still stumped on siblings writing sex scenes, but this couple were the perfect description of PC (politically correct). Both h & H are whiny little b!tches. h got on my nerves after 2 days with H and he flew and she went CRAZY, CRAZY, CRAZY over if he's OK. We get it, you're a Saint and only you care about this dude you met 2 days ago. Also, if you're overweight, you're not healthy, so saying, my Dr says I'm OK so I'm OK with it really is false. H is equally as annoying. All he does is think about his ex and high school. It's been 15 years and all he cares about is high school, both of them do. Why are they dwelling over shit and rehashing old shit from almost 2 decades ago? I find it laughable because clearly you're not over it. Anyways, book 1-4 were good, 1 was really good, I'll have to add reviews for those.

Weston has another hit on his hands with his lates faux love novel. This is Claire and Ryan’s journey.
Claire is in need for money because she is in financial trouble and decides to sign up for Faux. Ryan is dreading going to his ex’s wedding and he doesn’t want to go alone so he gets his date from Faux. Well as luck would have it, they match him with Claire who he just happens to know from high school and is also his ex’s best friend. How will this all turn out?
Well written and great storyline with high school reunion drama with old classmates throw in the heat from the tropics to go a long with the steam between the mc. Loving this series, Weston. Thanks for allowing me an arc copy of this book and I am freely leaving my review.

I received a free copy of the New York and Greece set steamy novel Fake It For Love (A Faux Love Novel, book #5): Claire and Ryan by Weston Parker, and this review was given freely.
Ryan’s empathetic personality touched my heart. Irony, a leading man who flies like I would get in the car, a tension-filled journey, and another successful Faux arranged romance are interwoven in this fake fiancée story with an alcoholic island partying atmosphere.
Insecurities, financial worries, bullying, and Claire Sullivan’s best friend Norah's breakup with aviation nerd Ryan Jones placed them at odds but the former adversaries are reunited in the Caribbean during a three-week island vacation featuring their private high school’s 15th-year reunion and Norah’s wedding.

10** book for sure! I’ve loved each of the Faux books and somehow they get better and better and I loved this one!
Ryan and Claire knew each other in high school but we’re not best buds. They meet again through Faux, shocked when they meet up and found that they knew each other, and that they were attending the same wedding and class reunion. You’ll root for this couple to make this faux relationship a real thing!
This is a delightful story. Love the individuals in the book, each with such interesting personalities, some who have not grown up since high school. Just like real life! Wes definitely brings each one to life.
I’m reviewing this ARC voluntarily and I can’t wait for the next Wes Parker Faux book. Love this authors books.

Claire and Ryan knew each other in high school, he did her an unexpected good turn on Prom night but they've both moved on. Now she has a job she loves as a fourth-grade schoolteacher but she needs more money so gets a second job as an escort. Her first date for the company turns out to be as a pretend girlfriend for Ryan. He's now a pilot and the owner of an aviation company and he needs a date to go with him to his ex-girlfriend’s wedding.

Everything seems to be going well, until it isn't, will they be able to weather the storm? Weston Parker has given us a lovely story and taken us on an emotional rollercoaster ride in this one. I love both the main characters they're both from different backgrounds but they work things out and overcome their differences all while falling in love.

A reunion, an engagement, and a wedding. Which one will actually happen? Ryan, still single at 33, needs a date for his ex girlfriends wedding and their high school reunion. His date turns out to be Claire, one of his high school classmates. Because he was bullied in high school. He wants to show up as the rich, confident man with a beautiful girl on his arm to make everyone eat their heart out. As it turns out, Claire, one of his high school classmates, turns out to be that date. It’s disastrous. It’s humiliating. And then it is absolutely fabulous. It’s amazing how people grow up after high school and find their one true love that they’ve known all along. A really really great book. More men should be like Ryan.

BOOK 5

This is the 5th book in this series.  The sparks fly with Ryan and Claire.  It was supposed to be a couple weeks of faking being his boyfriend.  Should not be that hard.  No one would know it was an arrangement.   And after the few weeks each would go back to their individual lives, she could pay her debts off, he could continue with his life.
The twists that happen in this book are awesome.   Weston kept the story flowing quickly, and easily.  If you have not red this Faux love series, I highly recommend it.  Each book can be read separately or as a series.

This is a brilliant addition to this series from Weston Parker.
Ryan is dreading going to his high school reunion and his ex girlfriends wedding alone so he goes to Faux. Claire is drowning in debt so decides to go to Faux to help clear her debt. Neither were expecting to know the person they are matched with.
As they get to know each other the sparks start to fly and they get closer but could it work between them when she feels that she isn't good enough for him.
Plenty of drama and so much emotion but can they get their HEA. Loved the ending.

For the love of all Faux stories, this was another great one. Loved the storyline about two people who are set to go to their high school reunions but like many of us feel the pressure to fit in. You can’t help but cringe at some of the obnoxious things the guys would do. Just like always you were for the nerd turn rich guy who outshines them all and you realize that they’re all just trying to make it in this world. They all have things that they’re fighting in three lives that they’re not proud of. In the end you just want to be friends with all of them.

Created a whirlwind of emotion

Claire, a fourth-grade schoolteacher, is hired to pretend date Ryan, a pilot and aviation company owner, for his ex-girlfriend’s wedding. As the story progresses it’s a small world after all, a little gossip drops a ball, and if they can just weather the storm they might survive the fall. Weston Parker created a whirlwind of emotion in Fake it For Love. I love to see two people from opposite backgrounds overcome their differences and fall in love.

I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

This is a good addition to the Faux Love Series. I loved Ryan and Claire's story and he hired her as his date for his ex-girlfriends wedding. They realize that they actually knew each other from high school where he provided a comforting shoulder. The book is well written with strong, likable characters. The story line moves fast and grabs your attention right at the beginning. What happens when feelings start to develop and fake starts to feel real? A cute story that was a fun read. I read an advance copy via the author and voluntarily chose to review it.

Claire and Ryan used to move within the same circle until Claire's father gabled their fortune away. She is now drowning in debts and need money , so she signs up toe work at the Faux Agency. Ryan needs a fake girlfriend to be with him at a wedding and the school reunion. When they meet, they soon realize that they went to school together and it would be easy to sell this relationship to their classmates' and his ex. But is it going to remain fake or not? I volunteered to review this fun story.

This read was great and had so many things that I loved! Lovable characters, nail biting intensity, great friendships, lots of heat, characters that connected well with a history, and an overall story that worked well. Ryan and Claire really connect and it was fun to see how their story progressed, the glimpses of the past and how intense things could be between them. I absolutely could not put this read down! A must read in this great series!

I’ve loved all the Faux Love Novels but I believe this one is my favorite of them all so far. Weston Parker does not disappoint!

A match should have been made in the years the two characters were going through their youth together but Faux does what it does best when both are in need of a “date” to a class reunion and a wedding. I loved the relationship of convenience between Ryan and Claire and loved watching it be fake that turns real.

A fake relationship ✅
Seeing the guy you sobbed all over at prom ✅
A romantic beach getaway ✅
A freak tropical storm causing all the havoc ✅
The happiest of endings ✅✅✅✅✅

This book made me want to jump on a plane and spend the rest of forever in the Bahamas! Preferably with a hot pilot who owns his own planes.

This had everything you could ask for. And even more so, a light summery feel to get you into the perfect vacation mood (and probably shed a couple tears).
