Now that Alexis has been dragged under the bed, she’s literally in the land of monsters. It’s been many years since her monsters last saw her and they’ll be damned if she gets away. Worse yet is the corrupt and delusional de facto leader who is just a deplorable monster and they’re biggest threat. Things are crazy now they are no longer in the human world but with Mark showing up things seem to at least be heading in the right direction. The guys however cannot see eye to eye and it’s kinda annoying to see them bickering and fighting like children over a toy. Then again Alexis is a whole lot, plus she has many mates and only so many h*les 🫣😝🤫 One later really made for a tense and wild ending. I’m glad we know the circumstances behind how it happened and that the worst case scenario is in fact not what true. However how everyone will come to grips with all the crazy remains to be seen!

This was such a disappointment. I was highly anticipating this book, and I remember really enjoying the first book. However, as soon as I started reading it immediately picked up where the first book left off without any recap of what happened, and I honestly couldn't remember. I reread a little bit of the first book, but I still felt lost while reading this book. I think the author should have included more of a recap in her writing. I also thought this book was so all over the place, and I never really understood what was going on. There were some horrendous actions that were supposedly perpetrated by the bad guy the fallacious, but he just leaves her alone and she is easily rescued. Then this book introduced three new mates into the story (mark plus a new two person-one body creature that Alexis names Osz and Vizruk). These three new mates quickly become my favorites amongst her men, because the original three are incredibly frustrating, controlling, condescending, and disrespectful in regards to Alexis' needs in this book. I don't think introducing new characters that are wonderful, and then destroying the connection I felt to the original characters is a good way to maintain reader enjoyment. There were a lot more steamy scenes in this book, but I often found them poorly written and not appropriate in regards to where the plot was currently at. I also felt confused by some of the pictures because they didn't always feel like they were in the right position to depict the scene. Honestly, I was so so disappointed in this book. I also hated the cliffhanger ending. I felt like I waited so long for this book to be released, and then it was less than 200 pages and chaotic. It needed more revision and probably more length and less inappropriately-timed steamy scenes. I hope the next book will be better, but I honestly don't know how I feel about continuing. This was a big flop for me.

Que libro bizarro.
Igual es divertido tiene hasta imágenes. No me lo esperaba.
La historia es muy mala…. Ella salvará ambos mundos y todos la aman y blablabla, pero al menos la protagonista no le hace asco a nada y no es tan santa. Es un desastre x así decirlo jajajja pero me causa gracia. Se enamora de todos los moustros jajaajajajaja paraaaaaaa nena!
Me gusta Mark el ex novio que intuyo será el papá del Niño.
Si este libro fuera muy largo no lo leería, pero así corto y con imágenes safa.

Alexis (FMC) has been kidnapped by the False King in the first book and thats how this book starts off. Only whilst shes being held captive some big plot twists happen. As well as some new and old love interests turn up. Bringing plenty of off of the charts hot & steamy scenarios. Im enjoying reading this series and that ending was killer!!

Great series
The first book of this series was released at the beginning of the monster boom and although a decent amount of monster books have been released since then, this series still holds a special place in my heart.
I do enjoy this author and her writing so it could be that but I found that not only is this series full of spice (and more pictures than the previous book) but it is also very plot and character driven. We actually get to know our characters and it’s more than just finding a mate and the spice that follows. We are still learning what exactly is going on, there have been betrayals, there have been some twists, and we have been introduced to some new characters that we only got a taste of. I cannot wait to see the role that they will play.
There have been plenty of mysteries and plot twists and while the cliffhanger is not throw-your-Kindle worthy, it’s a few small cliffhangers which will have you wanting to know what’s going to happen next.
Like I said before, you will definitely enjoy this series and you will want some monsters in (and under) your bed as well.

Alexis has been kidnapped by the False King and now her monsters need to get her back. But there is also someone else who isn't as human as he originally thought, and if he wants to save the woman he loves, he needs to fulfill his destiny. Alexis though is not the type to stay quite and wait to be saved, and along the way she meets a couple of other Vasuras who are connected to her. Let's also not forget all of the spicy scenes. I need more 😂

Monsters In My Bed by M.J. Marstens is a monster romance. This is the second book in the Bogeymen trilogy.
I was pulled in from the first chapter and couldn't help but binge the book in one sitting. I liked that the book picked up right where the last one ended. I really enjoyed getting Alexis, Mark, Xhoshad, Nerazi, and Seriq's points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
The book ends on a great cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait for the next book Monsters From My Bed to be released on November 30, 2022.
I would recommend this series if you like monster romances, dark romances, or erotic romances.

Monsters in My Bed is the second book in the Bogeymen series, Marstens monster reverse harem and it was hot. This book had steam for days but was on the darker side of things.
The book picks up where the first left off, Mark is in Vasura, the False King has Alexis, and the trium is separated. Things go from bad to worse in this book with problems forming between Alexis and the trium, a shocking revelation, not to mention possible assault. The False King is putting a plan into play but I can't really figure out what it is. On the bright side, a few new monsters make an appearance and things get really interesting. 😉
Alexis has gotten closer to the trium, with her big heart she is more than open to becoming bonded to her monsters but with them not being human while Alexis is, it's causing some complications in motives and understanding. Alexis is handling things well, even things with the False king, but half of her monsters aren't fairing so hot making bad decisions. However, the newest ones seem to be doing just fine.
The last couple of chapters of Monsters in My Bed got really interesting. There was betrayal, someone goes off the rails, a dark possibility is revealed, the king makes a move, and someone's past is revealed which has me asking all kinds of questions Looks like all their futures are up in the air until the next book at least. I'm curious as to how things are gonna payout in Monsters From My Bed, the third book in the series.

Seguimos con la aventura y vemos como la protagonista y su mejor amiga don secuestradas por el Falso y sus monstruos tienen que salvarlas, agregando lo que pasa con Mark.
Este libro me gustó más que el final, el giro de personaje que da Mark es sorprendente y termino agradandome, sobre todo por como da todo por la protagonista y la ama de tal manera que está dispuesta a luchar por ella si importar a quien se enfrente, por como tiene claro que ella tiene una opinión y que aunque no quiera estar con ella luchará por qué ella pueda decidir aunque no le guste el resultado, amo como la prota es una protagonista fuerte que a pesar de no estar en su mundo intenta salir adelante, también amo al mounstro de ojos rosados/violetas, es tan tierno y me encanta que ella lo cuide e intente cuidar, a pesar de que sea raro ya que son dos fusionados, las noticias y plow twist siguen y no se que voy a hacer para esperar a que traduzcan el tercero, solo me queda esperar que ella se quede con los 6 aunque siento que alguno va a morir, solo espero que todo salga bien y amo que el fusionado pueda hablar.

There's a good amount of world-building in this book especially considering the author accomplished in less than 200 pages is impressive. Not only that, but the book is jam-packed with steamy scenes and good plot twists, making it an a satisfying read.
While I anticipated Mark would become a permanent love interest for Alexus based on the chemistry between them in the previous book, I was pleasantly surprised by the introduction of Vizruk and Osz. This series is already unconventional, but this added twist made it even more intriguing, and I couldn't get enough.
Although I didn't expect Seriq's extreme reaction to the situation, I had a feeling he wouldn't handle it well. Roxy's fate is left uncertain, and I can't help but wonder if she'll suffer the same fate as the previous queen, especially since she hasn't been taken to the pools.
Overall, I'm eagerly anticipating the final book in the series and can't wait to see how the author will wrap up this series story.

What a ride! This book was much more emotional than book one. I was not expecting to feel such intense feelings. This was just supposed to be monster smut! 🤣
In all seriousness though, this book picks up right where book one leaves off. Alexis and the guys don’t get a moment of reprieve. Separated and cut off from one another they have to work hard to get back what they lost. It’s definitely not an easy task.
Revelations are made and unexpected things are brought to light. I found myself genuinely surprised several times in this book. That doesn’t happen very often! I enjoyed it so much!
After this ending, I have no idea how I’m going to wait until November for book 3! I can’t believe MJ would do this to us. However, I know she will make it 100% worth the wait.

Hay demasiado instalove aquí que me causa un rechazo inminente. Desde el principio de la trilogía, Alexis me resulta insípida y torpe, sin mencionar que no tiene ninguna profundidad como personaje.
La descripción del libro es una serie de eventos cachondos con monstruos que están lastimándola, ignorándola y privándola de su libertad, mientras ella imagina como sería follar con todos a la vez.
Es monster romance, lo sé, pero la historia de trasfondo tiene mucha riqueza que ofrecer si los personajes no fuesen tan planos.

Just keeps getting better
The initially hot story has developed into a steaming visualization of lust and beauty. It's got monsters who look like monsters with tongues so long and dexterous they should be added to the most wanted posters for their crimes against women. It has eggplants so exaggerated the neighborhood farm animals would be jealous, but best of all, it's got this fantastic story that's been developed so well, I'm totally bought in and can't wait for the next one to put me out of my angsty, needy misery.. Good job and thanks for the surprisingly romantic and believable boogeyman story!

Monsters in my Bed is book two in the Bogeyman series by M.J Marstens and heck I did NOT expect to be falling in love with a new monster! This book continues on from where we left off in book one straight into the thick of it all, Mark is in Vasura and the false king has kidnapped our FMC Alexis. We have some reveals, betrayals, smut, drama, a time I definitely got highly miffed with a certain monster who I shall not name, some more smexy times and an ending that certainly has me questioning things!

No inventes este se puso mil veces mejor. Omg qué onda con Alexis y todos sus mates o sea son buenos son malos qué ondaaaaa, tengo muchas dudas omg el tercer libro es prometedor. Todo comienza a tener sentido y a la vez cuando piensas que ya está todo resuelto baaam. Algo que noté, y que me gustó fue la actitud de Alexis, todos sus conflictos que tienen sentido porque ve ambas perspectivas y que haya marcado limites, bien ahí. Las escenas y las ilustraciones thoooo❤️🔥.

OMG that cliffhanger killed me!!! Had to get that out of the way. Loved this second book in the series, we get to see how the characters have grown, plus, the development with Mark is one I didn't see coming. Fell in love with new monsters, bit my nails with all the twists and turns, loved the steamy parts, cried a bit, laughed a bit and got very mad, specially to Seriq. Get ready for an awesome read!!!

Not sure how but suddenly I’m obsessed with monster romances
I read the first story as a joke from a review on TikTok. I will say that these last couple of books that I’ve read from this author are incredibly thoughtful, intentional, and well described. I can sincerely say I’m excited to read book 3, I highly recommend book one. There are nuances here that more practical stories and realistic romances miss 10 out of 10 for me.

For some reason I forgot we were getting more books in this series (hello again Book 1 cliffhanger) so I was super excited to start reading it! Just as I was with the first book, I got super into the story and didn't want to put it down. It has a fantastic storyline, funny moments, and some good spicy content. The artwork throughout really adds to the experience. I'm loving this series so far!

I love how the monsters don’t actually change into something human they stay their monster selves (other than one ) and she loves them anyways. This book was a rollercoaster of emotions tho. With 1 of her mates falling into his base emotion it was rough. But that last chapter was making me need more now!

Fuck yes!!!!! These monsters just keep getting better and better and nastier, kinkier and dirtier!!!!! I'm just speechless about the trium!!! My baby Seriq, you naughty confused monster WTF!?!?! There are just so many unanswered questions and wwaaaayyyy more sex scenes I NEED!!! Like this double penis monster and Seriq!!! And many group scenes!!!! I can't wait for the next book!!!!!

Interesting read.
This is an interesting series. Most people are scared of the monsters under their bed, that come out at night but Alexis is drawn to hers and they want her! In this second book Alexis finds out more about her monsters wants and desires and realised that she is drawn to the too. Great read and looking forward to reading the next one.

Things are getting better. Great second instalment, the twists keep coming and we have new interesting characters to play with. Once again we’re left on a cliffhanger which definitely hurts but I seriously can’t be more excited for this series and for it to continue. Oh and the extra spicy spice and nsfw artwork is spectacular

Book 2 was worth the wait
The art alone makes this book worth the wait, but the story itself is getting more excited with every passing page. We get to meet 3 new characters and that ending is mind blowing and will keep you annoyingly breathless till book 3 will release which will take to much time haha.
Definitely a series worth reading if you love monstersmut and pretty art and yes even a storyline!

Yeah, the artwork didn't disappoint, lol. Reading this makes me want to read more stories filled with monster lovers. It was great to see the fmc own who she really is and what she wants this time. Can't wait for book 3.
