Charles Welch has been a home designer and builder, a middle school and high school teacher, education administrator, corporate learning and development professional and writer, previously publishing the spiritual book Walking Softly. His formal education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science Teaching, a Master of Education in Learning and Technology, and an Educational Doctorate in eLearning.
Let me catch my breath for a moment, because Charles Welch has done it again in “Killer of Killers 2: The Third Eye”. If you thought the first book was a wild ride, buckle up - this sequel grabs you by the collar and doesn’t let go. What hooked me this time was how Welch masterfully weaves the internal struggles of our mysterious vigilante, the killer who somehow seems to see straight into the twisted minds of other murderers. It’s not just about taking out the bad guys; it’s about dancing on the razor’s edge between justice and vengeance, all while putting everything - especially his beloved family - at risk. Every page pulse with the tension of a man who treasures his loved ones so fiercely, he’s willing to become the monster to defeat greater monsters. Enter a brilliant new character - a justice-driven ally whose presence spices things up in unexpected ways. Their dynamic is electric, adding layers of trust, suspicion, and a dash of wit that left me grinning and gasping in equal measure. It is more chilling than in the emergence of the evil killers duo - a pair whose sordid deeds push the boundaries of brutality. Their partnership is forged not merely in violence, but in a shared, tormented past. Haunted by the specter of miserable childhoods, these two have crafted a warped sense of justice, believing their monstrous acts are a necessary reckoning for a world that failed them. As the duo takes their twisted mission to new extremes, every confrontation feels like a collision of traumas and raw intent. If you crave books that grab hold and don’t let go, that leave you gasping for breath and desperate for one more chapter, “Killer of Killers 2: The Third Eye” is calling your name. Buckle up - because this ride is unforgettable, and you won’t want it to end.
The seer sees. Kalen continues his quest of seeing visions of ruthless killers, then following the clues to find them and dispose of them. This time, there is a killer who kills women, carves a hole in their foreheads and places a human eye in the middle of them. Kalen doesn't realise it yet, but this killer is so much closer than he thinks. I really like the build up of tension in this book and the stunning ending. And that there is another unknown killer out there, who is also a seer, who can see Kalen.
This is the second book of this series it should be a ten star book can not wait to read book #3 it had me guessing thru the whole book I highly recommend this book to everyone Dorothy Schaefer
This is the 2nd book I’ve read in this series. It’s amazing the reasons that people create for killing. This one, it was new to me. However surprised I was, it made for a scary read.
I read book 1 and bought book 2 and 3… but can’t read this one. Quit. Too gory, and I don’t.like the religious struggle. Not my thing though I loved the first book…. Waste of my money on this one. Yuck.
I didn't like this one as much. Not fond of serial killers that are absolutely crazy. Not big on religion warped thinking as their reason for killing. Still like the concept of the series, writing style and characters. I definitely wouldn't want to mess with Kalen's family.
Continues the theme, but there's only so many variations on something so limited...and it doesn't hurt the plot when law enforcement is the epitome of incompetence
I really love this second book. It is so well written, with great character development a great story line. I am looking forward to reading the rest of this series.
The second book in Charles Welch's Killer of Killers series is much more gruesome than the first. The barbarous treatment inflicted on the victims of this serial killer was brutal. Working with the FBI, Kalen feels constrained and yet glad to have someone covering his back. Suddenly there seems to be more than one killer operating in the Fort Collins, Colorado vicinity. Killers determined to stop him before he can lead the FBI to them. If God is paying attention who will he protect? Who will he allow to die? Who will he let be his avenging angel? Luckily there are several more books in this series.
