I never thought love was something I could ever have.
At one point I had been fooled with some version of it—lust wrapped up in a package resembling love—but when I met Alex I realized everything I ever felt for anyone before was just a cheap imitation. What I had with him was new, exciting, authentic.
For the first time in my life I saw a future for myself that included someone else. And for the first time I wasn’t afraid…until I met Alex’s dad and saw that fate wasn’t going to give me a break.
It wanted to decimate me.
If Alex ever finds out the truth, it will crush me. It will crush all of us.
Portia Moore is an Amazon and iBooks bestselling author of romantic suspense, including the popular If I Break series, the Her series, and the Collided series, which combined have sold over one million copies across all platforms. Located in the chilly Midwest, her favorite vacations are anywhere that's hot and sunny with a beach, reading the same kind of heart-pounding, twisty, edge-of-your seat romantic thrillers that she loves to write. When that's not possible, she loves drinking wine, cooking (also with wine) and spending time with her little family of one human child and two furbabies, one that barks and one that meows.
Ok. First thing! Explosive and beautiful! The truth was bound to come out. It always does. Alex and Madison are truly meant to me together. However, sometimes there are things that people cannot accept. I believe that this story is relevant, poignant, inspiring and all consuming. Yet. Here is the second thing. The grammar and editing is poor! Jackson and Her broke up in Boston. Not Miami. Miami was their first trip together! Also. Robert James had an affair with Jennifer. Per the Mom of Melissa and Madison. Not Alice! Also. When Greg proposed to Melissa, why was Ryan (his bf not there). That would have been an awkward moment for Alex and Madison. Nathan was Parker's fiance's bf. But his name was used as another character. I am just confused! Why not have it edited properly??? I mean the plot and story is sooo good. Maybe a different editor to not drop the rating on these books. Sad
4 STARS (would have been 5)

Here I go reading books again that I think I will hate but my brain says "But Tessa, you gotta know what happens"😐🤦♀️ Joke's on you brain, this series wasn't half bad🤣
Im just gonna write 1 review for all three books and save myself some time.
Book 1- Jackson is a pretty shitty human being. I expected to hate Madison but its hard to hate someone that was being lied to and did the right thing when she found out. I do wish that their relationship didn't have so much on page time. I did throughly enjoy watching Alex and Madison go from friends to more. 3 stars
Book 2- I disliked Madison in this book. It was weird that she still had unresolved "feelings" for Jackson. She was 100% committed to Alex but I was still side eyeing her. I didn't think it was possible but Jackson turned into even a bigger asshole. Dude was legit trying to get Madison back even though she told him 800 times that she was in love with HIS SON! Also dude is still MARRIED. I felt a lil bad for Madison with how it all blew up in her face because she really was a victim in Jackson's scheme. She should of told the truth sooner though. Im completely satisfied that Jackson blew up his life, dick had it coming.
Book 3- My like for Madison came back. Her charcter really grew in this book. She was 100% committed to Alex even though they were broke up and was willing to wait for him. She also was prepared to do what was needed to have a good co-parenting relationship with Alex. Alex's mom Kate annoyed me a little bit but it also pushed Madison to be a stronger person. I liked that Alex was 100% in when he found out about the baby and wasn't unnecessarily cruel to Madison. He also sought therapy to figure out if he could ever really forgive her before committing to her again. Jackson's life is still in shambles HAHA asshole🙄 Alex does end up forgiving him though🤦♀️ 4 stars
So all in all this series is alright it kept my interest. Book 3 was the strongest IMO. I would definitely say this is a NOT SAFE series
Whoa.... this book had me on edge throughout..... What a roller coaster... I was waiting for book 2 since i read book 1 Collided and Portia didn't disappointed. It was worth all the wait. I really enjoyed this book. I finished it in one sitting because i couldn't put it down. I was hooked from page one. I really loved If i break Series but seriously Portia outdid herself with this series. Absolutely amazing, fantastic, nail biting read. Enjoyed every second of this awesome read
This book was much better than the first in this series - I really did not like the first book and almost didn’t purchase this book however I am glad I did as things were much better explained ... although I just don’t know how things could possibly turn out ok ... train wreck but looking forward to the 3rd book Iin the series
This book was very frustrating to read ! I hated everyone except Alex. Madison was the worst FMC I've ever read and her logic and delusions were infuriating. As it relates to the writing, i found it very repetitive and i felt like the sex scenes were just to fill pages that didnt really add nothing to the story. This book could have easily been a novella. Over all i liked the plot and the drama
Portia this book is amaxing!!!! I couldnt put it down!!!! The emotional ups and downs you put me through!!! Your a genius... my heart cant handle this ending!!! Feburary hurry up!!!
This book has so many twists and turns, you'll always be wondering what's going to happen next. You won't believe the ending. Talk about a great cliff hanger. Don't miss this one!!
