In an omniverse of infinite parallel universes, something happened thirty-two years ago that has never happened in the multiverse before— a child was born that didn’t exist on any other universe throughout all of infinity. The rarest of the rare— a cosmic miscalculation- and often a sarcastic jerk.
Poe didn’t know why he was different, but he was painfully aware that he wasn’t like everyone else.
For starters, he could talk to almost any inanimate object. Chairs, cellphones, lamps, shoes, or even a stolen gun that now self identifies as pacifist all chatter away to him day and night.
The world was constantly too loud with the voices of annoying people and inanimate objects alike. Poe was at the end of his rope and was ready to spend the rest of his life alone when the universe began to shatter.
Now a group of mysterious threats from other realities are hunting him and Poe has no idea why. With the help from some new friends, and some unexpected old ones, Poe must to leap into the unknown —from parallel world to parallel world— to unravel the mysteries of his very implausible existence.
Oh, and if he can stop the destruction of the multiverse and every conceivable reality— he’ll try to do that too.

This book was definitely written differently than any other book I've read in the past. Todd does a great job including comedy into this book along with weaving a solid story. While most of the multiverse was good, and there were some parts that just kinda worked out for the main character there was a piece at the end that seemed super rushed.
I don't know that it would be a book I'd read again, but it was a good story and I definitely enjoyed reading it.
Absolutely love this book. Great story that travels everywhere. Humor and action throughout many worlds. I always enjoy Todd Feren’s books because he adds levity to his story. Here’s a sample of the humor: “ Diarrhea in the nooks and crannies definitely kills the resale value of a car “
