“Why am I naked and tied to a chair?” Because you’re in Hell, little rebel. My hell.
Camillia De la Croix isn’t human. She’s a Halfling Hell Fae with a fiery spirit and a will that refuses to break.
The rebellious beauty escaped my dungeon. Fled Hell. Then f*cked off to Fae only knows where.
Now I’m paying the price of her little jaunt around the fae realms. Because her antics earned us both the wrath of the Hell Fae King. He blames me for allowing her to escape.
If I don’t find out how she managed her little field trip, I’ll probably be shipped off to the Netherworld Kingdom to play with the Corpse Fae.
Fortunately, Hell Fae Commander Az wants the answer to this riddle just as badly as I do. Prince Melek, too. The three of us will break Camillia’s resolve. Then we’ll throw her back into the Hell Fae Trials where she belongs.
You took advantage of my hospitality once, sweetheart. It won’t be happening again. Now start talking, or I’ll turn up the heat. And this time, you won’t be allowed to come.
Authors’ Note:Hell Fae Warden is a dark paranormal romance with four tormented mates and no choosing required. If you like your anti-heroes dominant and sexy, you’ve come to the right realm—the Hell Realm, where the romance is hot and no forgiveness is required. This book ends on a cliffhanger.

Besides the plot going absolutely no where until the very last chapter, idk how to feel about it.
No one ever believes her, even when she has someone CLEARLY point out that she’s innocent, multiple times. No one sticks up for her, including Melek which he’s a continuous player in her finding trouble. Ajax can’t get his shit together for more than five minutes. Az is.. idek lol. I do adore his Phoenix though. Lucy is just a dick.
Sooo none of them have my vote to be apart of this harem at the moment.
I think my favorite part of the whole thing was seeing Shade and the guys.
And while I know I’ll be reading it, I can’t say I’m at the edge of my seat for the next book. 🤷🏻♀️
Nothing really happened. I did like the last chapter, the description of magic was interesting. But other than that? Nothing of note happened in the entire book until the last chapter. Finally learning about the FC's magic was great. But that wasn't until the very end. I was constantly annoyed at Ajax. All he did was whine. And whine. I really don't care for his character. Make him actually do something. Melek was eh. There was no real progression in their relationship. Lucifer was just a big ass at the end. I really don't get the purpose of the cage scene. It just felt useless. (Like, the authors were wondering what they could come up with to have the MC hate the characters all over again. The cage scene was just so annoying and nothing of note going to come out of it. The MC will be written to forgive these characters once more). Just, ugh. And Az is interesting but also not at the same time. This book only focused on Ajax. I would have liked more time with Az. (And his phoenix). But alas, we have to wait for the next b00k. I don't know. This book just fell short. Especially after the cliffhanger from the first book. I was just expecting more. (I was also hoping that the MC was the reincarnation of the girl that betrayed them. But with the direction this series is going, I don't think that's going to happen). Here's to hoping that the next book will be better.
Camillia’s story continues in this next instalment of the Hell Fae series. She disappeared at the end of the previous book and Ax and Az have been assigned the task of finding the rebellious female fae. But when they do finally catch up to her, nothing is as it seems. Melek is still meddling with them all and Lucifer has plans of his own😳
A great story and oh boy…after that ending I need the next Hell Fae book stat so I can discover what JUST happened❣️Great characters and story and ready for more😊 I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my honest review❤️
This shit just keeps on getting better. That was so much fun to read. So fun that I stayed up till 2 in the morning read only to have to get up 3 hours later for work. I need the next book after that cliffhanger of an ending.
We've waited so many months for this... And time after time it was pushed back. I had hoped the reason for it being that way was because they were making even better. I found myself reading more internal dialogue and repeated conversations just worded a bit differently than anything. They've decided to separate each male lead to strain out the series while also making more money off of sub issues in this book by making books off that. Maybe, idk focus on one series and give more effort than trying to make 3-4 new series off of this. This book was fluff and I'm so d a m n mad at that!!! Then trying to cover it by making it "mysterious" ... You weren't even trying to really do anything with this book and I'm so upset. I've waited too long to see you drag out someone being upset for pages and pages .. Always..."if they could read my mind right now...." Are you kidding me?! Do better...Idk if I want to continue with this series. Not one thing explained... She just ended up in 3 cages and sexed twice🙄... Everything else was everyone being misunderstood cause everyone was self monologuing 🤬. Y'all should be able to be better at this as Best Selling Authors. Stop making extra books and commit more to these that show a following and committed audience first, sheesh.
Honestly, nothing happened. This book takes place over the course of like 10 days and we skip 7-8 of them. We only change scene three times, and we end on a cliffhanger. I honestly feel that Ajax is the only one who cares about her as a person. It appears we are going to be building this harem with one relationship per book, if the titles indicate anything, and with the disclaimer for book three including the phrase “forgiveness isn’t necessary”, I kind of don’t have high hopes for how that will be done.
I’m really hoping these boys start defending Cami. I’m sick and tired of her going through so much and never making these guys grovel.. well Ajax (kinda) did, but it wasn’t enough. And the fact that the men only care about each other more than her? 😑 I swear to gosh. This next book better have some groveling, or at least have Cami stick up for herself.
Really enjoyed this second book in the Hell Fae series. The characters were on point, the storyline gripping and the world-building literally out of this world.
These authors know how to write a fiction novel. I mean, their imagination knows no bounds. I’m so in awe of how they can create such an amazing world and make it believable.
I have a feeling that every instalment is going to grip the readers even tighter. I genuinely could not stop thinking about it long after I’d put it down.
My favorite is the Hell Fae King himself, Ty, but Melek, Az and Ajax are just as hot and I think once they are complete, they’d even give the Midnight Fae guys a run for their money and thats saying A LOT.
The only thing now is having to wait for the next book. I can’t wait to see where these authors take it next. A book full of grit, heat, passion, emotion and action. What’s not to love.
This series just keeps on surprising me left and right. These men are all broken in some way and so is There Little Angel. The Bridal Trails are screwed and The Little Warrior is finding out she not who she thought yes she have demon But she half something else and she maybe the only hope to save the underworld where all the men she starting to fall for live. But can she forgive them for how they treated her. The spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Second books can be precarious, the direction of the story uncertain. To follow up a strong first installment of a series can be a difficult task. I found myself enjoying this book less than the first, and unfortunately worried for the future of the Hell Fae series.
I enjoyed the first book so much I gave it a 5 stars, which I hand out quite rarely. I went into this one really excited, and unfortunately found myself a little let down.
I didn't write a review for the first book, but some of the complaints I had from there first book carried over into this one. Namely, the dead lover trope. Now this really is preference more than anything, but I hate this trope with a passion. It feels so icky to me, almost like cheating. Ajax was constantly comparing Cami to Emelline(can't remember her name srry) in the first book. While this did lessen in the second book, it was still there enough to annoy me. I just think that if the motivating factor pulling you to another person, is the fact they resemble your dead lover (whether it be physically or personality wise) it's just wrong.
Rest of the review will have spoilers^^
A little more on Ajax, this book basically centered around him. I agree with other reviews when they said not much happened. Cami is really holed up in the same room for majority of the book with Ajax as her warden. So really, he is the only one she consistently interacts with. Despite my previous complaints about him, he started to grow on me a bit. But only a little bit. My main issue with him, is the fact that I don't believe he really likes Cami yet. So far it seems that he was only initially drawn to her because her personality reminded him of his dead lover. But then, Melek made a comment that Ajax is more drawn to her because Az's bird imprinted on her and Az and Ajax have a more developed mate bond than they realize. SO basically what I get from that is his feelings towards her aren't really genuine... yet. They could be, but right now they aren't.
As for the others... I'm not convinced any of them really care for her at all. Az only cares because of his bird. He doesn't seem fond of her or her personality, only really taking a like to her sexually. Lucifer obviously hates her as is typically with reverse harems, there has to be the one asshole who hates her the whole time. But truly in his povs, he often regards her as unremarkable. He doesn't seem to be attracted to her physically and does not like her personality. For Melek, well he has clearly spelt out multiple times that he is only courting her for Lucifers sake. He is in love with Lucifer, everything he does is for Lucifer, including Cami. Melek has this idea that Cami will be the one to ground Lucifer as his power is getting out of control or whatever. So really he has no interest in her beyond the purpose that she serves to his true love.
So that's a lot of words, and I feel like I'm rambling, but my point is that I don't believe the love story. Usually by the second book there is some progress in the relationship but I feel like there has been none. Maybe a little with Ajax towards the end but that's it. The rest of them barely know her, nor have they attempted to get to know her, they show no interest in her boundaries, and they only see her for the purpose she serves them.
Don't even get me STARTED on that little cage scene at the end. For once, I was agreeing with Ajax's assessment of this situation. That shit was wrong and it really had me tearing up. To openly objectify a woman against her will in front of a room full of men, to strip away her consent and reduce her as eye candy, it was utterly fucking disgusting. I'm not sure how I'm suppose to hope Lucifer ends up with her? After he did that to her? I'm supposed to believe they are future mates?? Now I'm no stranger to enemies to lovers but I guess this was too far for me. The moment they subjected her to sexual harassment was the moment I knew they didn't deserve her.
Now I'm much hoping she will not flop over in the next one. Despite my grievances I still enjoyed this book. I just need her to not simper over their dicks and really make them work for it, because she's really a decent FMC and I'd hate to see that spoiled. It's gonna take a lot for me to want her to end up with anyone besides Ajax at this point.
Enough now. Can we talk about what RH means please...
So I read book one years ago and wanted to know more. To catch up today, I had to re-read book one.
I'm not a fan of MM especially when the heroine is a "side piece". I realised I skipped a lot in book one hoping once Camilla became our focus, she would be the focus. But no....
Not icking someone else's yum but this story does not belong in RH.
Other issues..... Why is Midnight Fae coming through here??? All it made me think was, yeah that book was waayyy better.
So two authors... And they didn't pick up on the excessive repetition and over the top self yammering to....? I found myself getting annoyed with the POVs, there was literally nothing new there, so why?
I did not like this book at all. The cliffy from book 1 made it seem like we were in for some action. Ereemmm no.
While I'm still venting can I also add that the MM was already a bit over the top for me... Camilla only had 2 scenes in book one and two both were over written as well. The men talked to each other like she wasn't even there. Sigh.....
Adding how Camilla wasn't comfortable with any of the men and didn't trust them or particularly like them.... Why did the authors think it would be a good idea to add smut???? Let's also talk about talking about other things right through those loonnggg winded smut scenes.....
Bottom line though is this wasn't great... For me. Not for MM because the plot hole would be rubbish and not for RH because the men are already together..... Camilla is not the centre.
I'm really on the fence with this series. I think I like it but it also frustrated me at times. I need a lot more grovelling from the guys. Like loads more.

Parts of this book are so incredibly confusing . This is such a strange thing in that it's very distinctly Lexi c foss, and yet it's not. I just always have this feeling that all the books written during the pandemic were written in a wine induced haze. I have no idea if that's true but it really feels that way.
Its very Lexi in that you have the woman that has had a very hard time coming up, fighting against all odds, dealing with all the patriarchical b******* and finding her own way as a tough, courageous yet still very female like being.
Getting put in impossible situations of making her way out of it and of course banging all the good bad boys who turn out to be her mates.
But this one falls short. There's almost no plot here. I mean, yes there's an arc underneath and we know what it is and we know it's all going to be joined with the other books on the series, but this particular book doesn't seem to have its own plot.
I don't think you can count assumptive testosterone-filled males who don't bother to ask anybody about what's actually happening and instead go up into their own mind draw all their own conclusions and act like f****** cavemen. Is that a plot?
It's more like here's this agitated heightened scenario and oh look we're going to have sex, and then here's another agitated scenario and oh look we're going to have sex again. And on it goes.
I don't know if I want to continue with this series but I'm hoping the next book won't be as bad. The Cliffhanger kind of leaves it making you think we're going to be looking at new characters being introduced and that's always interesting
Overall, I would say this book is good because it's Lexi. Buuuut also bad in that this is probably the worst book of hers I've ever read
TW ~ strong sexual undertones, violent scenes and themes of dubious consent
Cami wakes up tied to a chair, naked after having accidentally touching the hell Fae source, which is wildly known for its rejection to females. Cami wakes up to Ajax, the warden and Az, the commander glaring at her. They claim she escaped for 30 days and they were looking for her and now they’re pissed. So is Typhos Lucifer because someone touch his source and is creating chaos in his realm by opening portals. Ajax, Az and Melek are determined to figure out what is going on.
I absolutely LOVE CAMI !!❤️ She is just the best, she hilarious and so real😭 Now these men tho, are questionable but I think there is redemption for them, obviously after lots and lots of groveling.
I LOVED THIS BOOK !! I literally started reading and couldn’t stop. It was just so good. Then the cliffhanger left me to flabbergasted at 5 IN THE MORNING 😭 especially since the next book isn’t out till October, but I’m so excited either way! I can’t wait to see how Cami reacts/ puts Ajax and Az in their place after their betrayal (🤞🏼) (I’m petty) and for them to start being more considerate of Cami. Then I can’t wait for Typhos to realize his met his match aka Cami because she doesn’t back down 👑 Melek is still undecided because I feel like he could possibly care for Cami but I am concerned that he is only planning to use her to help Typhos manage the source. I also want to know more about Cami’s powers and how they feel familiar to Melek and Typhos’ powers. I’m just so excited for the next book 🤩

And these 2 amazing ladies have done it again!! Fantastic continuation of this story, I'm really wishing I had found this only next year when the story is closer to being finished, lol.
Az and Ajax just see Cami as a prisoner who escaped, not listening to her at all. It takes the midnight fae kings weaving a truth spell for Ajax to finally see she is telling the truth.
And while this is happening, Azs phoenix has had enough and wants his intended mate, taking over so Az has no control. And so the next threesome happens... 🔥🔥🔥
But this whole book is about the push and pull of trust, because even when vita once again creates a situation that gives the appearance of Cami escaping, Ajax takes everything at face value.
Melek in the mean time is trying to convince Ty (Lucifer) that Cami is meant for more. Even with vita showing him the 5 of them together, he is so wary of females because of his betrayal before his fall. And especially as Cami touched the source.
Then there is the question of who is opening the portals which is killing hell Fae and talking them to other realms. All this talk of virtuous fae (angels) and melek know Cami has something in her.
And so we end it with Ty tormenting Cami in purgatory, Az holding Ajax, just like Constantine did, stopping him from helping her, the new portal exploding, and Cami knowing she can help, but Ty still fighting her...
Argh!!! Next book only next month, but this will be Meleks book...

I read the first 3 books back-to-back, so this is a commentary about all of them, since the actual events of each installment blur together.
This series is heavy on the MM. If that's not your cuppa, don't bother with this. It's a strange combination because it's basically two male couples that are invested in the same female.
The challenge I had with these is that each installment felt incomplete. After three installments, I was neither emotionally invested in the characters, nor truly enthralled in the world.
I like Cami. I actually think she's a great protagonist, but the reality is, we don't know much about her. Every time we start to get a glimpse into a character, things spin away and the focus either becomes some other plot point, or sex. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The creation story was actually interesting, but again, we get an incomplete glimpse before the plot moves on. All of the different types of fae were too much for me. Midnight fae, paradox fae, nightmare fae, hell fae....I wanted to yell "you're all pretty and special!" and be done with the categorization.
I don't think I will continue with this series. Although it's interesting enough, by the time the next installment comes out, I will have forgotten all of the details of this series, and I don't think I'm invested enough to reread.
the world building is kind of confusing and lacking. the magic s not discribed well either. i found this book to be very slow.
i feel like there is a lot of internal dialogue that is v repetitive. the characters are struggling with things and when some of it is resolved it feels anti climactic. it’s like why were we being tortured with all these repetitive thoughts for it be resolved so easily?
the mfc is supposed to be bad ass but i’m yet see it. sure being humiliated and standing your ground is brave but it’s not that bad ass imo. other than the first chapter in book one i am yet to see the fmc fight which is frustrating.
as for the romance idk. i hate the way the men treat her. esp melek lucifer and az. ajax has grown on me and is more fleshed out than the others at this point.
the smut is so dramatic. i think it’s supposed to show how their meant for each other as mates but it just ends up making me roll my eyes and skip. also ill never get used to knife play. it will always be a skip for me bec what????
in next the two books i want grovelling. like hard grovelling. not sex as apology but actual grovelling for all the horrible things they’ve been doing to her.
I was already addicted to and sold on this world—the way it opened with the fairytale style explanation of Ty’s (Lucifer’s) background would’ve sold me if I hadn’t been! This installment had me hating Ty, loving Cami even more and loving the entire world and its brilliant design. I absolutely cannot wait for another peek into the world of monsters and Nightmare Fae and I’m pretty sure I need to drop everything and binge Midnight Fae Academy … again.
⛓️ Lots of Faeverse crossover. 💙 Lucifer as a lead. ⛓️ Magic. 💙 Group ‘pairings’. ⛓️ M/M 💙 M/F ⛓️ Phoenix shifter. 💙 Hoards of drama and mystery. ⛓️ B0ndage. 💙 Humiliation, pűnishments, betrayals … ⛓️ Massive misunderstandings but not in the ‘usual / overdone’ way at all.
And so much more…
There’s no way I could ever say enough about this world, this installment and how seamlessly these authors work together. This was an infuriatingly delicious installment, if that makes sense.
ALL the stars.
🎧 Audio: Obviously with such a stellar cast, this was again, perfect. The entire production was beautiful and flawless. 5 stars.
I loved this book. I was honestly a little disappointed that her interrogation was so brutal. They didn’t believe her even though she was spelled to tell the truth. Then they did believe her and Az’s Phoenix took over and gave her a weapon. Then when he got control he took it back. Ajax and her are together now, but because she touched the source Lucifer took her out of the games so he could watch her. So he punished Ajax and tested her. He removed her from the games and announced that it was because she slept with Ajax. He made her wear and “outfit” made of chains that stimulated her in front of everyone in the bar while the bride games were on. Az used his magic to freeze Ajax so he couldn’t help her. Neither of them will forgive Az or Lucifer easily. Then a portal opened up and Lucifer couldn’t close it, but she connected with his source and was able to close it. He was furious and took her to “talk”, she thinks she is going to die. Maybe Lucifer will finally realize that she is more than she seems and could be his mate as well as Melek’s.

I just finished this Audio book and WOW! Lexi & J.R. Always hit the spot just perfectly!
Don’t you just love it when the guys (or even just 1 of them) sees that THEY are the idiot for not believing the FMC?!?! The authors did an amazing job and building the story, I felt like I was right there feeling and witnessing what was happening.
You got to see more magic from Cami in this book and I cannot wait to see her do more! I just know she’s powerful and she isn’t going to lay down and take all the hate she’s being given!
The audio book was just perfection! The voice actors did such a good job at showing the characters feelings through their voices!
The last 10% of this book had me open mouthed and trying so hard not to RUN to the ending (somehow 🤣)
I cannot wait for book 3 and P.S I need me a phoenix! 😍
This book picks right up where book 1 ended. Cami escaped hell and lost 30 days of memory. Ajax and Az have tracked her down and must figure out what happened. However that’s not the only mystery that’s taking place. Someone or something is creating portals and causing chaos in the underworld. Cami’s powers are also starting to show. Is she truly just a hell fae halfling or she something more?
I love Cami. She’s firstly and knows what she wants. She doesn’t back down or cave to strong alphaholes. Melek is so mysteries and I love his playful side with Typhos. He’s protective of Cami. Ajex finally admits his feelings for Cami in this book and it’s a sweet crash. Az battles with his phoenix about how he feels about Cami and it’s great.
This book made me giggle and want to throw the book across the room a few times. It was a great continuation of the story and I cannot wait for more.
I was doubtful from the beginning if I was going to finish this book.
Its a shame because the story itself is good, the characters the same.
But I swear it could have been condensed into one book over the 3. Why? The endless pages of utter waffle, inner dialogue and thoughts, it goes on for several pages at a time, every time and it gets tiresome quickly. The only thing keeping me there was the story n characters but at some point you have to say enough is enough.
Its like the authors thought lets see how long we can make this by dragging it out . You just grow impatient instead of further enthralled.
How to kill a great story.
I'm done. I've spent the last week trying to stick with this series. No more, when I dont want to pick my kindle up thats when I know its time to move on.
Ajax is sooooo boring. Still living with his percet ex in his head. Comparing Cami with her all the time. Always doubting Cami. Hurting her and than apologizing. Totally toxic and she always accepts his apologies because poor poor Ajax. Such a victim in everything. She is suppose to be powerful but she can really do nothing all the time. At least on the first book she showed some abilities besides being pretty. But the second on... she can't even scape cuffs on her on... I am sad I spent money on this and the first book was so good. The 2 stars here are just because the premises are good. If you want to do a long book series each book has to have something happening, otherwise we , the readers, feel like you just want more money and did fillers to have long series. I've read series with 30 + books and all of them there was meaningful things happening....
Cami is such a feisty FMC, she knows exactly what she doesn’t want and that’s to be forced into the Hell Fae bride trials by a deal made by her father Love the four delicious men in her life, especially Melek who seems to be playing a long game I’m he mysterious book Viva seems to be involved, not sure what’s happening there. We n ed to kno more about Cami’s heritage and her absent father. So many questions especially about Luck dear troubled past and his issues trusting women. It’s been that long so now since the first black j I had to read that again first, really hope the gap isn’t as long until the next one Really enjoyed this and want to find oyr what happeneds next
Wow! What an adventure. Cami is trying to so hard to make sense of everything she is going through, where she fits into things now, her relationships with Az, Ajax, & Melek. Things are happening in the realm that Lucifer doesn’t understand, and answers are needed. Melek and The Book both seem to know something about Cami and how important she is to the future of the realm. But getting Lucifer to accept that will be hard enough. This was an intense journey, I love how the relationships between everyone are changing and evolving. The chemistry, the passion, the desire for Cami is ramping up for all of the guys, & I can’t wait to see what happens next, especially after that ending!
