Coming home one day from fishing, Logan Henry is behind a beautifully restored Nomad, hoping to stop at a red light behind the occupants and compliment them on the amazing car, when the Nomad has a blowout and rolls over onto its back on the rainy highway. Quickly stopping and calling 911, then pulling the four occupants from the car, he has no idea how his life just changed. The car explodes, and a piece of burning rubber lands on his arm. The Fire Department also destroys his truck, unable to stop in time with an inexperienced driver and bad brakes on the slick road. Overcome with heat exhaustion, Logan is taken to the ER and treated.
The next morning, Mike and Allison, two of the four he saved, show up at his house and get him into a new pickup truck. Allison’s father owns the auto mall in town, as it turns out. He arrives home to David and Charlene, the other two he saved, waiting on his driveway. All four offer him their surrender, astonishing Logan, whose life is about to take amazing twists and turns he couldn’t have conjured in his wildest dreams. But is it simply because they owe him their lives? If there’s no love, can this possibly work?
'Lucas X. Black is a lifelong dominant living in southern Texas, where he is engaged as a full-time writer. He is formerly a paramedic of many long years’ experience, and often incorporates that knowledge base into his writing. Away from home, he enjoys spicy and exotic foods, loves to fish, and loves going to the movies. In his home, behind the closed doors of his dungeon, he is a sadist and humorist, in love with eliciting a range of sensation and reaction from his oh, so willing victims …' to 'I have been a writer for a number of years, finally branching out into publishing. I grew up in Texas, where much of what I write happens. I've been a R/L dom for almost a quarter century now. I've always liked writing, entering new vistas my mind affords. Life makes us the men and women we are, and I often (changing names to protect not so much the innocent but the delightfully sinful) dip into my life's experiences for the fiction I will be providing you.
