They escaped back to England, and hunt monsters along the way. This worked for much of their alliance until one of the monsters had a terrible problem that neither James nor Naureen could solve. They needed friends and allies to find the answers and take on a creature far greater than James could imagine. The question is, who will ally with them while they are on the run? Who can take on something so powerful?

This is one of the best historical fantasy books that I have ever read. Alfred Haus is a mad genius. I love all his books including "Myron's Gift Stairs and Hallways" I highly recommend his books.
