What I love about these characters is there sense to adapt. Alaric Rule is a force, no doubt. In the previous books, we know who his father and uncles are, and for him to land in Helix's organizations says a lot about his determination. His willingness to so freely disclose his feelings towards Sienna after such a length of time, speaks volumes for him. The lengths he goes to to ensure she's never lost to him again are heroic.

Sienna sorta fell flat from the persona she portrayed in the prequel. That is my only reason for 4 stars. Granted, her shock over everything she endures in this novel could play a key in this, but I wanted to love her so much more.

I do love this ending. After both losing members they have no loss for, this will be a bonding experience like no other.

But how this translates into Gideon's story was very exciting!

Abbi Cook has created another fantastic character in the Rule family which is Aleric Rule, who is working for his Uncle Helix as an assassin after breaking from his family headed by Maddox Rule.. In this first book of the Born Villains Series, Aleric is reunited with the love of his life, Sienna Rossetti, who has taken on a new identity to remain safe after Aleric saved her from an attempted hit on her life by her family. Their dark romance has amazing characters, betrayal, kidnapping, violence, unexpected plot twists, and sizzling passion. I highly recommend this well written book. The next book in the series is RuthlessTouch.

OH MY HEART!!!! I LOVE this Rule family but Alaric Rule has been my favorite since he was introduced. My heart hurts for him even though he maybe brought some of the trouble to his own door, he's just sad to me. Then there's Sienna Rossetti, these two fit together so beautifully and it's heartbreaking that Alaric thinks they're time together is always so limited. Of course all h*l^ breaks loose and Alaric has to show just who he is and how far he will go for what's his. As always we can count on this author to bring her all and she definitely does it again with Alaric and Sienna's story. It's absolutely delicious and everything I hoped for. Now to get ready for Gideons story....

This book is intense and spectacular. Alaric Rule will do anything to help his uncle even kidnapping the daughter of the man causing his uncle problems. Sienna tries to escape her family’s home which is more like a prison but doesn’t expect to literally run into her kidnapper. Their story is one where they find out the other is not what they ever expected to find. Alaric and Sienna are both strong and resilient. After Alaric lets Sienna go he finds he must save her when her life is threatened. Their story is a wild wild of ups and downs. You will be left falling hard for the villain.

A good book can either be one making you want more, or one that makes you feel as if you have been completely fulfilled by the story and everything feels just right. Or maybe not. I am outside of my box on this Born Villains series. As this book left me with feeling both fulfilled and wanting. Some things were written well and in detail. Some things were wrapped up so quickly I felt like I had whiplash. Not really, but it felt quick. Enjoy the ride. I actually am inspired to look up pictures of Italy now.

I loved these characters, their strength and resiliency even with the trials they encounter. I very much enjoyed the introduction to them in the anthology prequel ( not necessary to read but highly recommended).

This story is packed with steam and action, I loved these two together but there was some of the story that just felt a little underdeveloped, THIS DIDN’T take away from my enjoyment of the story I just wish some of the elements had gone deeper.

Overall this is a great read as always from a favorite of mine, I’m looking forward to Gideon’s story.

Alaric is not to be messed with. He is so possessive of Sienna. Their love is so beautiful. The way he treats her had me very happy. He's Sienna's hero and light.

This dark romance is intense and addicting. Alaric is definitely a force to be reckoned with. Alaric and Sienna are amazing together, you can feel their sizzling passion for each other. This story is well written with a action, betrayal and twists and turns. I loved this story and am definitely looking forward to the next book in the series.
