This book was awsoem I really liked it! (: I can't wait to read the next one....

The book is about two ex-best friends Nola and Marnie who arent speaking to each other anymore but they both have huge boy trouble.
It all started when they got in a fight at school because Marnie had given away her birthday present that Nola had made for her and she had worked on it for a long time. And Nola had gotten upset about finding out that Marnie had given her birthday present away to Lizzet one of the biggest popular girls in High School. Nola ha loosen her temper an screamed at Marnie at school for doing what she had done. Marnie was super mad because of the show Nola had given at her at lunch that day. Nola was really upset because after that Marnie had told her that she really dint care and that really did hurt her.

Lizzet and Marnie turned into best friends. Marnie would always talk about Nola an make fun of her. She wanted to fit in with the big crowd. Marnie had a huge crush on Dane who was the hottie of the school. Dane liked her too, and Marnie was head over heals for him. All she coul think was about him. Dane would say the sweetest things ever to Marnie and she would love every second she was with him.

On the other side Nola was in loveeee with Matt. A bad boy from her school who was a hottie too!
Matt had been by her side since the day she and Marnie had gotten to the fight. He always tried to make her feel better and make her smile. Nola woul melt at his hazel eyes. The problem was Matt had a girlfriend who was extremly pretty and he was in love with her. All he talked to Nola was about Riley (his girlfriend). Of course Nola woul get jeoulse an pretent she cared.Matt was always there when NOola felt sad an he listen to her problems Nola woul do the same. Matt had some trouble at home with his parents so he woiul miss school alot of days. He told Nola he would be her best friend and take Marnie's place wich Nola was ok with. Matt would go over to her house and have the traditional friday sleepovers she had with Marnie when they were still friends. But of course he didnt spend the night or do each others make up(:

Between all that Marnie haad asked her councler to switch her scheldue to be with Nola. But that was in the past when they were freinds...But now it was like torture to Marnie and Nola to be in the same classes for the rest of the year.

Marnie's friend Lizzet had a boyfriend Sawyer, who was Maarnie's top crush. She was starting to feel something for him but she knew it was wrong because he was her best freinds boyfreind. Sawyer starts to flirt with Marnie alot so she does the same thing.

For Nola things got more complicated... Matt had Riley come over and stay for a weekend and he had asked Nola to make a necklace for Riley she couldnt resist saying no to him so she did the necklace.

When Riley gets there Nola doesntt know how to act seeing him and Riley snugaling each other.

Matt and Riley invite Nola to a party and she finds her ex-best friend Marnie at the party. They have another fight because they said that Nola had ruind one of Marnies campainge poster and had wrote "The thong thief" on it. Marnie was really mad at that and she had blamed Nola for it,But Nola hadnt done it.

Matt hadnt been talking to Nola along time. Then one day he sended her an email saying that he was sorry for not talking to her and that he had some family problems and that he was confused about something. At the end he told her that she was the world to him.<3 & the book ends there.

This book was amazing i cant wait to read the next one in the novel (:
I highly recomend it(:

Ex-best friends, lies, jealousy, and tons of secrets... yep, it sounds like the cast of IN OR OUT is back!

Marnie and Nola believed that their friendship would last forever. That was way before they started high school. Freshmen year started out with a bang; well, more like an accident, with Nola stepping on Lizette's foot, making her totally out, leaving room for Marnie to be in.

Now, after their huge showdown, Marnie and Nola are back, but this time as enemies.

Nola just cannot believe that Marnie would betray her like that, letting Lizette wear the bracelet that she worked so hard on. But Nola doesn't need Marnie, since she has Matt now, who by the way is offering to take Marnie's spot as best friend. Unfortunately for Nola, this is just too much for her to take in. Sure, she gets to spend time with Matt, but she also gets to spend time hearing Matt talk to his girlfriend. Not only that but there is that manny who her parents hired to look after her brothers. If only he wasn't such a smart jerk, and totally cute.

Marnie doesn't need Nola anymore, either. She has Lizette now, and her almost boyfriend, Dane, by her side. And with the student council elections coming up, Marnie needs to stay focused, especially if she wants to win. But things are not so easy for Marnie. Even though she has Dane, Marnie still can't get over Sawyer, the guy who is now her new best friend's boyfriend. And then there is that certain rumor that could totally jeopardize all of Marnie's hard work of becoming a Major.

It seems like Marnie and Nola's friendship is far from the possibility of ever getting back to normal.

Fans of this new series will not be disappointed in this second installment. The girls are back with tons of problems, including ones involving boys, and they are not backing down. Who knew that high school could be so fierce?

Marnie Fitzpatrick and Nola James were best friends until, after eight years of friendship, their different personalities set them apart. Now that they are freshmen in high school, Marnie is consider to be in the "in" group, meanwhile Nola is consider "OUT". Marnie became good friend with Lizette, the most popular girl, hangs out with Lizette's "in" crowd, had a hottie boyfriend, Dane, and starts going to parties, where only the popular ones are allowed. Nola had new friends and an enormous crush on Matt( whom I believe is the guy on the cover). Matt tells Nola that he would take Marnie's place and be Nola's new best friend. Nola is in a very confuse state. She's don't know if Matt likes her, especially since he's treating her like he does, but he got a girlfriend already.

I need to read the previous one of this book, because I don't know what the fight between Marnie and Nola was about. I liked this book, because it's very modern-like, interesting and quite mysterious. I hated the parts where Marnie is sucking up to Lizette, because it makes her seem much weaker than she acts. I wonder why Matt is treating Nola like they are more than just friends and I'm really looking forward to seeing Nola and Marnie becoming "besties" again. However, in order for that to happen, I need to wait until I read the next one of this serie or the next, next one.

I was a little frustrated when I found out that this is the second book of the series and I did not read the first one yet. However, this did not hinder my understanding of the story. It is interesting how Gabel writes in two different point of views: two ex-best friends. Both of them promised to go on separate ways after their ultimate fight; however, anything they do in their own lives reminds them of each other. Nola even finds a temporary best friend until she can completely forget Marnie. I was expecting a happy ending where Nola and Marnie reunite. However, it turns out that they both were fiercely fighting each other in the school election. Maybe it is a happy ending in a way that both are not scared of hating each other anymore. They FINALLY live on their own.

This book I just got and so far what I know is that a girl named Marine and she has a best friend named Nora and they got into a fight, but not the type of fight that goes for a week or so but they type of fight that do not want to see each other anymore. After there fight she began to become popular, and now she's friends with a girl named Lizette, that's already in the "crowd".

TO BE CONTINUE.

I rated this book 3 stars because although it is a really great book it also has some flaws. I liked this book because it showed the rivalry between two best friends and the romance between others. Although it started getting boring in the middle of the book because I think the author ran out of things to say. This book is really good if you like books about rivalries between friends, the life in high school, and a little romance. I would recommend this book.

This book was AMAZING!!! If you are a girl and likes to read books about drama... this IS the book for you to read. I will admit that this is more of a mature book because some of the things said and done in the book but theres not to much of it. This is my FAVORITE book and I am going to get the next book soon. Enjoy!!!

I liked how in this book, you got to meet Matt's girlfriend and you got to see more of Matt and his family and his life. I think that the friendship between him and Nola is a friendship I'd like to have myself.
