I listened to this on audible. It wasn't the worst thing I've listened to/read. But it wasn't top tier either. It was just okay. The beginning was intriguing and got my interest, but it crashed in the second book. The third picked up slightly. Nothing memorable, unfortunately.

Perversion introduced us to an almost another world within one city. I was devouring this book, every characters grabbed me by my hair and dragged me whenever they wanted. I was a willing victim of this dark story. And to think, there was more to come? What a sweet feeling...
Possession hasn't managed to evoke such turmoil of emotions as the previous book. The story felt like a bridge you need to cross to get to the place you really want to see.
There were a lot of action, interesting twists and a few very well-known (and loved) characters. But like I said, it was just an intermission between first and final part of this trilogy. And I can't wait to see how the story of Grim and EJ will continue...
Permission was less aggressive and dark then I expected. I still loved it but one part of the story could have been described in much more details.

This was an okay series, but it is nothing compared to the King series, which I loved. It just lacks quite a bit in believability regarding the events that happen to Tricks. Tricks and Grim are a great couple, though.

Cette trilogie était une série saisissante, crue, sombre et addictive qui vous tiendra assis au bord de votre siège. Rapide, excitant, dramatique, émotionnel et dur à cuire, c’est la finition que je voulais pour Grim et Emma Jean et je lisais ce livre en une seule séance, incapable de le critiquer! T.M. Frazier nous a donné la violence et la guerre, la vengeance et le pardon, l'amour et la famille. C'est la perfection! Je suis excité de voir ce que cet auteur nous apporte à l'avenir.

For darkness sake! Perversion by T. M. Frazier has perverted my darkish soul with its filthy, sexy, hot and unique plot. The story behind the pages of this book is flawless, wicked, evil and oh so good! I am obsessed. I am left SPEECHLESS. Perversion took my breath away. It is like a dark symphony composed with the right notes that seduces every sense, tempts your soul and entice your heart in the most forbidden way. Books like this make me crave more and more.
This is my first time reading a T.M. Frazier’s book and WOW I am besotted and intoxicated by each written word. I wonder where on earth I’ve been because her writing is addictive, hot and so graphic. It has the right amount of all the darkish things to make you blush like a teenage girl. There is something that makes you devour all in one sitting but at the same time there is something that makes you fear finishing the book. Such a contradiction, isn’t it?
How may I suppose to survive after reading such a dark romance like this? Perversion by T. M. Frazier is tattooed deep inside me and I can’t recover from it. To be left with a BIG BOOK HANGOVER doesn’t cover it at all. If unicorns were dark, this book will be a unicorn; unique, singular and perfect. Everything is magisterially wrapped by the author to create a masterpiece that has goal to blow your mind and twist your heart until it bleeds because the darker, the better.
As I said above, the plot is original and well developed. It is like all was calculated with the right elements to unfold a strong, forbidden and tempting story. The pacing is fast and the cherry on the cake is the complex and complicated characters. Tricks and Grim are on the top of my favourite book couples. They remind me to Romeo and Juliet with some obscure and dirty touches that made me swoon. Who would think that romance could be dark and so dirty? Love is supposed to be like in a fairy tale but sometimes it is twisted and all-consuming.
Tristán, aka Grim, has a dark and possessive heart. He is intense AF. Life has made him rough and dangerous. He is quite the BAD BOY PRINCE. His blacked heart will be conned by a beautiful fairy. Emma Jean. She is the girl who touched him and defended him, the girl who stole his soul with a smooth kiss and the girl who will disappear in the wind like a magician.
Emma Jean is a fierce fighter, a con artist that will be dragged to, what in my opinion, is hell on earth. She kissed and fixed a boy who with his silence said more than a thousand words. Those clever eyes of him touched her soul. His name didn’t fit him. To her, he was the boy who stole her tender heart. She is the perfect mix of defiance and innocence.
Nothing is fair with this book. You will lose a piece of your soul. It is war and love twisted in a beautiful and most delicious way that will make you beg, cry, love and hate. I HIGHLY recommend this book to all the dark romance lovers and all readers who love rough and mind-blowing romances.

The level of suspense is highly addictive and the drama is dosed in perfect harmony. Everything about this book screams thrilling perfection with many shades of darkish pleasure.
My heart is still pounding so hard in my chest. Reading this book was a twisted, tantalizing, hot and dark journey that engulfed me in waves of intoxicating pleasure. For a lover of dark romance, like me, this book is an obscure unicorn. The flawless writing, the complex characters, the explosive plot and the suspense killed me slowly. Possession enthralls and excites from the beginning to the end. I devoured each page with ravenous hunger. My heart raced the whole time reading. This book was a drug that kept me out of reality and deep into a story that was more powerful than I though.
There is something more than despair, gang war, action and twists. There is a beautiful, intense, mind-blowing romance that consumes everything to ashes! Grim and Trick's story is out of control and deliciously dangerous. Their journey is like a game of “come and get me”. Their eyes never denied the hunger for each other and love found its way through different yet difficult situations they had and those situations make them feel like there was no escape nor hope for them. But they are strong and courageous and their souls will fight to be together no matter what. They belong to each other and no man or the evil himself will destroy them. There is more coming in their way and I can't wait to discover what else T.M. Frazier planned for them.
Grim hooked his claws in my heart, so commanding and consuming, as he unequivocally owned me. Gosh! He made me feel like a prey because he is a dangerous predator. Book boyfriends like him are impossible to forget. Thanks T.M. Frazier for creating such male characters. They are dark and incredible possessive but deep inside their hard exterior is a soft spot for their women.

OMFG! T.M. Frazier has done it again! She killed me with the most epic ending for the Perversion Trilogy! In my opinion Permission is the best book I have read over the 2018. It is my favourite book in the series because it has everything that makes it a perfect literary masterpiece. It is a dark, passionate, intense, consuming journey of revenge and redemption. The suspense killed me, the action breath life into me and the passion of a deep, mind-blowing love consumed my soul in the best way possible. This is T. M. Frazier at her best! Only she is capable of perfection like this. Her writing is flawless and so addictive that there is something about it that makes readers crave more, like there is a constant ache only a book written by T. M. Frazier could cure. It is poetic, isn’t it?
Reading this book is like experiencing hell and heaven at the same time. The darkness wrapped in light. It is the kind of book that is like oxygen to readers who enjoy dark, twisted tales where everything can happen, where love has a dark side that will consume all around. It is like a black rose open up to the sun. What a rush! What a read! My poor racing heart! I nearly have a heart attack while reading. Daring. Dangerous. Damn it! Permission literally blew my mind and left me with the mother of all the book hangovers. The web of lies was destroyed and all the pieces matched in perfect synchrony, like a sweet symphony, it enchanted all my senses and all I could think and breathe is this amazing book and series. I still taste the bittersweet revenge and gentle redemption. This book is freaking gold and every chapter drew me close to craziness. Grim and Tricks will always have a special place in my heart. Their story was an intense ride of rage, revenge, redemption, hope, passion and love. All packed in perfect, toxic and twisted harmony.
There is no doubt that the palms are taken by Emma Jean. Although all the ugliness and pain, she fought as the strong, smart, fierce and young woman she is. Since the beginning, I knew she would fight like a crazed lioness and I wasn’t wrong. She was just the perfect match for Grim. No matter what they will always find their way to each other because they are meant to be one soul and body. Theirs is more than a forbidden attraction. It is a soul-deep feeling that tied up their hearts and soul.
Grim will always be on the top of my favourite book boyfriends. His possessiveness and killing instincts made him impossible sexy and hot AF! If Romeo would have a dark heart, he would be Grim. He had a hard exterior and his soft side (if he has one) is only for his Tricks. He is a loyal man who could sacrifice everything for his family. What he has with Tricks is raw and gritty love. I'm so freaking speechless after listening/ reading this book. I want to scream about how much I loved the way this book had me so immersed into it, that I felt every feeling, every upheaval and every danger.
How freaking amazing, is this book?! I definitely need more of Grim and Emma Jean.
I especially liked the way Aiden Snow brought to life Grim's character. His voice is 🔥
Right from that first encounter when these two meet when they are younger, and the instant connection they build, I felt that. Although it was more grumpiness on Grim's side but the way Emma makes him talk, made me smile.
From there this book will JUST NOT LET YOU GO. The sudden life changes that are thrown onto poor Emma not knowing what future awaits her.
Yet that girl is a survivor and will do anything to protect her people.
Although, I should have been ready yet I wasn't when some of the dark turns come out of left field.
The way the secrecy is built around Grim not knowing who his trix is and how when he meets Emma, in unusual circumstances for sure, it was thrilling to know how he doesn't recognise her and I couldn't wait to see how it would all unfold.
I feel the bond between Grim and Trix is beautifully penned out that I believed every feeling, every emotion these two felt.
I could feel their conflict, the distrust yet the unbearable need to be together yet not being able to... Ahhh... These two were freaking fire together.
I loved Belly and Marci as Grim's adopted mom and pops. They were a genuine family to him and I really loved the way they would guide him.
Margaret, that lady has me admiring her and also a bit scared of her but she's one amazing woman.
The twists in this one will guaranteed shock you but nothing will compare to that ending twist... I mean... WHAT THE... 😱😱😱😱 To say I'm beyond shocked is the least.
I seriously can't wait to dive into the next book. I need to dive into the next one. Abso-freaking-lutely loved loved this one.

Please read the TWs before diving into this one as this is a Dark MC Romance with really some dark turns.

This one continues right after that shocking reveal in book one and if I had thought this book would be less intense than the first one, I was oh so wrong.
This one is so many times more deadly, more shocking, more devastating and seriously be ready to be destroyed again and again while also being dangled with the hope of sweet healing.
I felt this second one was much more fast-paced as so many things happen one after the other and before you have taken a breather from one thing, another one is sprung up upon you from nowhere.
Honestly, this is what you call the Gold MC series as EVERYTHING IS THERE - dramatic and deadly turns, secrets, utter chaos and destruction, spicy chemistry but most of all the fight between love and war.
Wow... Just wow... Ms. Frazier is such a freaking brilliant author as this book did have so many delicate and sensitive things happening but she's written everything in a way that treats everything just right while making sure our story is justified and our characters make sense.
I mean the amount of times I have gasped, been shocked and was wide-eyed were so many because trust me THIS ONE IS EXPLOSIVE to the max with so many scenes that had me feeling like I was watching a movie with the action and dramatic turns that were there.
I love how Grim is as a leader and how he's ready to do anything for his family BUT FOR ME TRIX IS THE STAR in this one.
That girl is so brave and so strong especially mentally. I'm in awe of her strength and the ability to hold onto her own in the midst of wild storms and herself going through the unthinkable.
I absolutely admire TRIX and she was just something else for the way she fights mental battles in this one.
Grim and Trix make me melt with the way they love each other and care for each other.
Again, another deadly twist as an ending and I'm so on edge and can't wait to start the conclusion of this Trilogy. Absolutely loved loved this one. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Ahhh... I can't believe the way I've devoured this series so freaking fast and we are at the third book already.
Grim and Trix took me on a journey that was not only filled with grave dangers and emotional roller-coaster but also as they experienced things, it broke my heart too for what all they had to go through.
But this book... Ahhh... Finally I feel like we are healing and am being soothed after all the hurts.
Although this one had enough wild twists to have me shocked and at times didn't know what to believe yet I'm glad I took this ride.

Vengeance is finally here and even though the chaos continues, yet through clever tricks and carefully planned moves, things will shake up as you wouldn't have even thought about.
I loved loved THE TWISTS in this one and throughout the series but in this one some of them WERE SO AMAZING as they had me shocked one minute and didn't know what to do the next.
I can't recommend this series enough but only if you're ready to be taken on a wild roller coaster that will destroy and wreck you but with the Sweet promise of healing at the end of it all. Absolutely loved loved this one. I need more from Ms. Frazier that's for sure. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I'm so freaking speechless after listening/ reading this book. I want to scream about how much I loved the way this book had me so immersed into it, that I felt every feeling, every upheaval and every danger.
How freaking amazing, is this book?! I definitely need more of Grim and Emma Jean.
I especially liked the way Aiden Snow brought to life Grim's character. His voice is 🔥
Right from that first encounter when these two meet when they are younger, and the instant connection they build, I felt that. Although it was more grumpiness on Grim's side but the way Emma makes him talk, made me smile.
From there this book will JUST NOT LET YOU GO. The sudden life changes that are thrown onto poor Emma not knowing what future awaits her.
Yet that girl is a survivor and will do anything to protect her people.
Although, I should have been ready yet I wasn't when some of the dark turns come out of left field.
The way the secrecy is built around Grim not knowing who his trix is and how when he meets Emma, in unusual circumstances for sure, it was thrilling to know how he doesn't recognise her and I couldn't wait to see how it would all unfold.
I feel the bond between Grim and Trix is beautifully penned out that I believed every feeling, every emotion these two felt.
I could feel their conflict, the distrust yet the unbearable need to be together yet not being able to... Ahhh... These two were freaking fire together.
I loved Belly and Marci as Grim's adopted mom and pops. They were a genuine family to him and I really loved the way they would guide him.
Margaret, that lady has me admiring her and also a bit scared of her but she's one amazing woman.
The twists in this one will guaranteed shock you but nothing will compare to that ending twist... I mean... WHAT THE... 😱😱😱😱 To say I'm beyond shocked is the least.
I seriously can't wait to dive into the next book. I need to dive into the next one. Abso-freaking-lutely loved loved this one.

This one continues right after that shocking reveal in book one and if I had thought this book would be less intense than the first one, I was oh so wrong.
This one is so many times more deadly, more shocking, more devastating and seriously be ready to be destroyed again and again while also being dangled with the hope of sweet healing.
I felt this second one was much more fast-paced as so many things happen one after the other and before you have taken a breather from one thing, another one is sprung up upon you from nowhere.
Honestly, this is what you call the Gold MC series as EVERYTHING IS THERE - dramatic and deadly turns, secrets, utter chaos and destruction, spicy chemistry but most of all the fight between love and war.
Wow... Just wow... Ms. Frazier is such a freaking brilliant author as this book did have so many delicate and sensitive things happening but she's written everything in a way that treats everything just right while making sure our story is justified and our characters make sense.
I mean the amount of times I have gasped, been shocked and was wide-eyed were so many because trust me THIS ONE IS EXPLOSIVE to the max with so many scenes that had me feeling like I was watching a movie with the action and dramatic turns that were there.
I love how Grim is as a leader and how he's ready to do anything for his family BUT FOR ME TRIX IS THE STAR in this one.
That girl is so brave and so strong especially mentally. I'm in awe of her strength and the ability to hold onto her own in the midst of wild storms and herself going through the unthinkable.
I absolutely admire TRIX and she was just something else for the way she fights mental battles in this one.
Grim and Trix make me melt with the way they love each other and care for each other.
Again, another deadly twist as an ending and I'm so on edge and can't wait to start the conclusion of this Trilogy. Absolutely loved loved this one. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Ahhh... I can't believe the way I've devoured this series so freaking fast and we are at the third book already.
Grim and Trix took me on a journey that was not only filled with grave dangers and emotional roller-coaster but also as they experienced things, it broke my heart too for what all they had to go through.
But this book... Ahhh... Finally I feel like we are healing and am being soothed after all the hurts.

The Perversion Trilogy: Perversion, Posession & Permission was a great read by T.M. Frazier. Perversion (Perversion Trilogy #1) was a great read by T.M. Frazier. Tristan "Grim" has been in and out of foster homes for most of his young life and he eventually shut down inside. He had a chance encounter with a twelve year old pickpocketer Emma Jane "Tricks". Grim is the executioner for the gang that took him in five years later. Even though it’s been five years, he still wants to find Tricks. Emma has been spending the last five years just trying to stay alive. Her best friend's brother offers them a refuge that ends up turning into a prison. She must steal in order to pay for their keep or else she will pay in another way. There is a war between the two gangs, and Grim and Tricks are caught in the middle of a deadly feud. Possession (Perversion Trilogy #2) was a great read by T.M. Frazier. Tricks finds herself caught in the middle of two rival gangs and becomes captive of the Los Meurtos. The leader Marco, learns that she is a spy and teaches her and the other gang a lesson. Grim is the new leader of the Bedlam, but he is still going crazy with worry about his girl. There is heroin and a murdered body from the Irish mob that shows up on his doorstep and realizes that someone is trying to destroy everything he loves. He knows the war is on when he learns of Trick's capture. Permission (Perversion Trilogy #3) was another great read by T.M. Frazier. This book is the conclusion of Grim and Emma Jean's story. There is a war breaking out in Lacking which sees that the streets aren't safe. An unexpected person from Emma Jean's past arrives in town and she must choose betweent what she has always wanted and the life she didnt now she could have. She never knew her strength until she met Grim. The only thing is she doesnt know if she's strong enough to live without him. I enjoyed reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author.

This had a lot of promise and honestly the first two books were solid. I did listen to this on audible and the female narrator spoke SO slow! I AM not one to speed up an audiobook maybe 1.2. I had this sucker cranked past 1.5 when the female narrator was reading. I digress.
The third book is what made me drop the rating to what it is, so I mean if you want to look at it I would probably give the first 2 books 3 stars (as I hate cliffhangers) and the 3rd book a 1.5. There were too many plot drops and honestly....

This series was a disappointment, I usually like T.M Frazier's stories but I'm always conscious that her books are pretty toxic when it comes to the characters relationships. The males are aggressive and pushy and do things that in real life would be labeled rape or sexual assaults. And the readers are supposed to overlook this because they later become "romantic" (obsessed) and everything is done for love yada yada.
One (of many) examples in this series, I'm not sure which book it is but I think it's book 2 or 3, is when SPOILER ALERT:
E.J is traumatized and catatonic and Grimm gets frustrated and starts to have sex with her to "wake her up". She was brutally raped several times and the solution to help her is to start f****** her while she's basically unconscious? HOW is that even okay?
This is a recurring issue in almost all of her books and at times I just skip over scenes because they are way too graphic. Reading her books are a guilty pleasure to me and I get attached to the characters and that makes me want to continue just to see what happens with all of them. But in reality I wouldn't recommend them unless you are prepared for a lot of romanticizing of abuse and sexual assaults.

Gritty, and addictive but not quite 4 stars
The story of Emma Jean, Grim, and the entire town of Lacking was very dark. Full of grit and scenarios not for the faint of heart or traumatic scene triggers, this story just pulled me in from the beginning. It's rawness had me hooked, wanton for the next disastrous thing to happen. And these characters were always on the cusp of disaster.
Think of it as a cross between Sons of Anarchy, Gangland, and Vikings with some romance and an actual HEA thrown in at the end.
The one thing that kept me from not giving a higher rating were the grammatical errors right from the start. There were enough of them that I wanted to print get out my highlighting tool just to mark the mistakes and make editing notes.

This was a great story. Trixie and Grim came from dark worlds and found ways to improve their lives and create a life for themselves. The dark persona of their city was felt throughout. The fact that Trixie was kidnapped and found her real family was a huge twist. secretly, I was hoping for the other guy to be her father but og well. Marco definitely got what he deserved and Mona's outcome was truly unexpected. The appearance of King and Preppy was great too. The narrators made the storyline even better.

Grim and Tricks
Enjoyed this trilogy more than I thought I would. The story of two children lost in the system —- then lost to each other, gang wars, abduction, family and friendships, finally thrown back into each other’s lives. A well earned HEA. TW apply as this book is quite brutal. 4.5 stars. Highly recommend.

The last book saved this trilogy. The first was a struggle. Im actually surprised I kept going. Leave it to my curiosity as to why I finished this series. I also think I bought it on accident and couldn’t figure out how to return it for credit!

I liked this trilogy. Grim and Tricks as a couple is obviously my favorite part of the story, T.M. Frazier likes to raise hell with her characters and it's one of the best thing about her books. All secondary characters were extremely funny and I would love to read their separate story in the future. However, I am not gonna give this series 5 stars for a reason: everything was a little bit rushed, it lacked depth for me.

So many things to say about this series, but it can be narrowed down to I Loved It!
While their meeting didn't go as he would have it, it was exactly what she needed.
Being from a rough life, it can make you hard, but you have to chose what you want your life to be, not let life determine your destiny. These kids did just that. THEY decided their destiny. Shitty things happened, but they had bigger plans.
Great story of overcoming, wanting more, and making your destiny happen.

What a crazy, wild, terrifying at times, violent and hopeful story. Tricks and Grim are both dominating forces. Both had hard childhoods growing up in foster care. But that didn’t stop them from being strong, unstoppable forces. This is a hard story to read. If you have triggers, be warned. With that being said, it’s an amazing book. The power of love prevails in this book and it’s beautiful. And it has one of the best prologues I’ve ever read. Once again, T.M. Frazier slays it!
