,,They say: I love you to the moon and back, you're the sun of my life, and so on. But I don't think you're any of that. You're not the moon or stars. You're my whole damn sky, Ellie."

After her mothers death, Eiliyah moves in with her father. She hates living under the same roof as him, but what she hates more is to be burden to anyone else. So she decides to stay with him until her grieving becomes bearable. Hunted by the nightmares of the past and dealing with the complicated family relationship, she feels like the weight of the world is on her shoulders. But right after she arrives there, she meets two amazing people that become her close friends, and her neighbor, Raiyan, that seems like the only person who understands her.

Raiyan has his own secrets that he keeps deep inside, not sharing anything with anyone and just silently punishing himself for the biggest mistake he made in his life. But after seeing the girl in the window, he knows that destiny gave him another chance. And he has to be a fool not to grab it with all his strength.

Raiyan is afraid that if he reveals his true self, he will lose the girl who saved him. All Ellie wants is someone who will love and understand the real her, be there for her without the lies and judgement.

Will they fight for that love or will they waste the second chance that people would die for? Can two broken hearts recognize each other even after many years being apart?

I have no words to explain how much I love this book! I started it without any expectations and I was really positively surprised. Umme's an amazing writer, her writing style is unlike anything I've read before, it's perfect! The character developing is flawless. I like how she's making the reader sympathize with the bad characters and feeling sorry for them, even though they deserved the misery that resulted with their actions. Exactly here the reader will understand the message she wants to put out.

The things that Eiliyah and Raiyan went through, sadly are still present in so many children's lives. We all should speak up and stand strong against any kind of violence regardless of who the victim is.

The story is very emotional and well put into words, I felt the warmth through every single word I read. I loved the connection between Ellie and Raiyan and their backstory. That one particular scene has my whole heart. This is a story that stays with you forever. My biggest discovery for this year.

Special thanks to the author for sending this masterpiece to me. (Fun fact: it's the first package ever sent from Bangladesh to Macedonia!) This is her debut novel and currently she's working on her second book. I can't wait to read that one.

Is it a debut novel!!! Unbelievable! As a debut, Umme Pritam apu just nailed it.
I am not a fan of contemporary fictions but i LOVED it❤️ All the characters are well written. Ellie is such a strong character, I just love her. Ellie and Raiyan loves to read and Raiyan has a bookstore! This is so perfect❤️. I loved the cute moments between them(Also got a crush on Raiyan 🥺)
There were references to some famous books which made me love the book even more!
The story was very intriguing and it was literally unputdownable. It has a bits of mystery elements, though i guessed it right all the time but it doesn't make me love the book a little less! And this is one of the best endings I have read in a love story ❤️Gonna remember this read for a long time!
I will recommend this book to all ❤️

Also best of luck Umme Pritam apu for your debut novel ❤️ I loved all the little talks I had with you ❤️

This book has many beautiful quotes. Some of my favourites are:

"Life takes people, and things away only to replace them with something better, something bigger, and something you would be grateful for."

" Life is like the ocean.Sometimes, there will be sunshine around and harmonious dance in each wave. Then a time might come when storms are gonna hurl in, crashing everything apart in their way."

3.25/5 💫 Trigger warnings ~ Sexual and physical abuse, child molestation.
First of all, I am so proud of Umme Pritam apu for working hard to get her first novel picked up by a local publisher. This book was a refreshing read set in Dhaka. The plot was intriguing from the very beginning and I liked experiencing Eiliyah's story. The book isn't a rom-com + explored some really difficult topics so please make sure to check out the trigger warnings before starting this! My favorite part of the book was definitely Raiyan and Eiliyah's romance! It was sweet and heartfelt ~ I highlighted a lot of the conversations they had with each other. I did think that their relationship was a bit fast-paced though - it needed a bit more foundation in the beginning. But overall, the book had a well-written romantic plot for sure.

I figured out 2 mysteries from the plotline before the revelations, so ummm, that took away the suprise element of the book for me (which is entirely on me, ofcourse 😂) I liked how the story bought up sexual abuse and how it changes the course of someone's life. Eiliyah's growth as a character was commendable. The orphanage sub-plot was a great addition too! ❤️

Some grammatical/editing errors in the book irked me out a bit, so I hope that issue gets resolved in new editions of the book/Umme apu's upcoming novels by editor.

REVIEWING ARC
Special thanks to the author Umme Pritam for sending me the ARC for review.

Synopsis:
After the demise of her mother, Eiliyah decides to move in with her father despite having grudges against him. With adjustment in her new life and still being haunted by past traumas, she meets a neighbor, makes some friends and goes through a chaotic transition in life.
However, her sudden-too-kind neighbor has a backstory too. A mystery that has the potential to change her life forever.

My review:
Pace & Language- Standard. Although the sentence structures could be a bit more advanced.

Plot Development- Good. The story progresses in three timelines yet it remains balanced enough not to confuse the readers. However, I felt lack of build-up in Raiyan-Eiliyah’s relationship. Their chemistry started just like that, without any build-up. I would have preferred if there was a mystery to their attraction first and then slowly the intimacy growth.

Character Development- Progressive. Eiliyah and Raiyan had a wonderful character growth. The supporting characters did have some insights of their life but the story focused solely on the lead characters.
Climax- Predictable. Closured.

Overall- A good read.

Final Verdict- The plot is excellent but the writing pattern could have added more mystery and intensity. I maybe saying this because I’ve read too many teen romances and advanced English writing patterns.

I received this book as an ARC. This is the author's debut novel and I must say, she did an excellent job regarding the plot, characters and the whole story setting.
I love love loved the MC Ellie. She is strong, feisty and kind. She has come a long way after suffering so much at such a young age. Hats off to the author for creating such a strong MC! This book is full of angst, twists, strong bonds between friends, veryyyy complicated family back-story.
Now, let's talk about the main love interest Raiyan. He is a guy every girl dreams about! I wish I had someone like him in my life!
The other characters are also enjoyable. Not a single character is useless!

Overall, it's a quick read with a deep underlying meaning. I hugely recommend it.

Book: Eiliyah by Umme Pritam
Genre: Fiction, Romance
Rating: 4/5

💙 I remember the day when Umme Pritam Apu knocked me and asked if I was interested in writing a review for her new book. I instantly agreed to that mostly because of the enticing name her book holds. Since then, 'Eiliyah' started to leave imprints on my mind.

💙 The book starts with the protagonist Eiliyah narrating her life story to her little daughter Sarah. That's how you get to have a glimpse of Eiliyah and her husband Raiyan's early lives and their heart warming love story. However, you should also prepare yourself for some heart wrenching and traumatizing stories from their childhoods. The trauma and terror that they experienced as kids and teenagers will leave you astounded with shock. But you'll see both of them fighting hard against every obstacle and coming back stronger than ever. That's what is the most powerful fact about this book.
💙 In a nutshell, this book on one hand will make you smile with its warmth while on the other hand, it will break your heart into several pieces. But in the very end, you'll be able to connect with the characters and their enticing behaviours to the fullest.
💙 According to me, the best part of 'Eiliyah' was its ending which indeed made my heart extremely happy. Besides, Eiliyah and Raiyan's love story felt amazingly perfect and realistic to me. So, this book was a combo of myriad emotions for me. I would like to congratulate Umme Pritam Apu for writing such an amazing book. I'm delighted to have an ARC of this book and it was worthwhile for me. 💟

The sky was pink today so thought to post the review. From the beginning the story was getting beautiful. After losing every mean of life Ellie becomes the lost birdie on the pink sky. Then comes my fav part~ In a window Raiyan was waiting for this girl for fourteen years. But everything seemed new. New beginnings? I guess. Nope I can’t tell now. You have to read the book to know if it’s a new beginning or getting all the beautiful old memories back. I loved the ‘Hussain’ parts. I absorbed the moments of her with him. He was always in her mind and still in. You know what I think? First choices always remain alive that’s what Ellie has proved. Ellie always wanted to see the ocean with him but thought it will never happen. But it definitely happened. She saw the ocean with the person who’s her first choice for life. Endings are forever memorable no matter it’s happier or saddened. Because ending has to come, there’s beginning which has to come to an end. Ellie you & him are ♾! I’ve gone through their journey/life which will always be in my big 💜.

Believe me when I say this book has my whole heart. I loved this so much that I've been talking about this continuously for quite a few hours now.

Eiliyah. It felt like home. Ever since I started reading books, I've always wanted to read a contemporary love story based in Bangladesh. This was it. Eiliyah isn't purely a love story, it's way more than that. This book was a rollercoaster ride full of emotions for me. At one moment I was blushing and giggling and in the very next moment I was having goosebumps. I was feeling bad for all the people who had to face some sort of abuse in their childhood and I felt like killing all the abusers. Not possible, I know.

This book is something. I really mean it. I had high expectations from this one and I'm very happy to say it was better than my expectations.

As for the characters, oh Ellie! She's so strong! She went through so much but still fought back. Proud of her. And Raiyan hehe. What can I even say? I'm literally in love. All the little things made me feel butterflies and my heart was legit flipping.

Best read of the year so far!

Thank you so much Umme Pritam apu for the arc.
I still can’t believe it's your debut novel. You did such an amazing job in this.

Eiliyah is a story about a girl Eiliyah, Eillie who had a tragic childhood. Even after having a father she never got the chance to be his little princess. Her parents get divorced and Ellie moves in with her mother. But after a few years after the death of her mother she had to move in with her father even though she never liked the idea. There she meets her neighbor Raiyan who later on helps her to get through her time at her father's place.

When I first read the synopsis of this book, I knew it’s gonna be a book I’ll like. But didn’t expect it to be one of my favorite books of the year. What I loved the most about this book is the world-building. I hardly read any book where I know anything about the place in contemporary. I never went to any other country and reading this book I got to imagine the places, that felt amazing.

Another thing that I really liked is the pace of the book. I hate slow-paced books and fast-paced books are super hard for me to understand. But this book was perfectly paced. I didn’t feel bored while reading.

Character development was amazing. We get to learn all the things we need to understand a character. This book didn't only focus on the lead characters, supporting characters were also described very skillfully. My favorite is definitely doggo. My heart ached so bad for him…

While reading this book I laughed, cried, felt joy, smiled like a fool, and had butterflies in my stomach, even felt so angry and disgusted for some of the characters. It was an amazing journey.

I recommend this book to everyone. You’ll like it a lot, I can tell.
I’m so happy to be able to read this book and can’t wait for more of her book. Please keep writing amazing books like this book.

Eiliyah is about a girl who suffered a lot, who loved a wrong person, who lost the most important person of her life. This book is written in three timeline. One is 2004 when Eiliyah was 8 years old and she was telling this story of that timeline to her daughter in 2039. The third one is 2018 when she found her life back. Eiliyah had abusive father who never cared for her, never loved her, didn't even show a minimum humanity towards her. That 8 years old Eiliyah had gone through a lot but she also made her escape world. She had her doggo, photography, Mr. Dino (her toy) and Hussain, her best friend from the orphanage beside her house. For Hussain she started to read, they understood each other better. But she somehow lost Hussain. At the age of 18 she lost her mother too and after that she moved to her father's house and she gets to meet Raiyan who brings light to her life. Raiyan was everything she wanted, a best friend, an understanding person and a lover. Raiyan's life was so hard too. He Didn't have a very good childhood.

This book is so good okay? It's just splendid. As a debut novel, the author has done a great work with the story. I just loved it so much. I wish no one has to go through what Eiliyah and Raiyan had gone through their life. I wish everyone gets a mother life Eiliyah 's. I normally don't annotate my books but this book was too hard to not mark the lines. I'll mark all the beautiful lines the next time I read it. I was so hooked into reading it that I didn't had the time to get up and bring something to mark the lines. But I'll definitely read this again. It worths reading again and again. Just pre-order this book please. I promise you won't be disappointed by this book. It can't make anyone disappointed. This book has a beautiful story behind it and this kind of books are always turns out so good.

Thank you Pritam apu for choosing me to be your arc reader and sending the book over. I'm so glad to I got the chance to read this book before it's release.

*ARC Review*

What have I just read?! Mindblowing! I randomly picked this book from Booksirens and to my utter surprise, it's too good to be true.
Plot- The plot is so captivating that you won't want to do anything all day except finishing the book. It will hook you right from the first page. This is not your regular romance book. It's so much more than romance. A perfect contemporary fiction. A well combined story of friendship, heartbreak, complicated family issues, social stigmas and of course unconditional love.
World building- I never went to South Asian countries. The author made me feel like I was in Bangladesh- walking the streets, hanging out in Ellie's room, with her friends, going to a place called Hatirjheel, smelling the atmosphere. It's really rare to experience an excellent world building in contemporary novels, yet I felt it. The author didn't shy away from representing her beautiful culture.
Character development- The best side of the story is the characters. All the characters has a good story to themselves, even the supporting ones. They all are well rounded and practical. Best is Ellie, I must say. Such a wonderful character development she's got. She deserves all the love in the world.
Chemistry between Raiyan and Ellie- Just one sentence, they are made for each other. I loved their extraordinary bonding. The buildup of their relationship is outstanding. I don't want to spoil more.

Overall, it's a story that's gonna stay with you for a really long time. The story is dark but so much fun, so much to learn from as well which is a very rare combination to match. It's heavily focused on a very sensitive issue, child abuse. Well done! I can't wait to read her next one!

This book kept shattering my heart into pieces and mending it back together right after. The protagonist of the story is a Bangladeshi girl, Eiliyah, who is also the narrator of the story. The story is narrated by her from three different timeline. This book is full of traumatizing events that occurred in Eiliyah's life, and I could relate to some of them. Eiliyah is such a strong character, and there is so much to learn from her. Now I have my favourite book girlfriend, of course. 😄 She has become one gem!my role models and a great inspiration.

And her counterpart Raiyan, he is a literal Angel! He appears in her life when she was going through so much all alone, and turned her late night nightmares into sweet little dreams. And does he own a bookshop? Yes, he does! And did he made a bookshelf all by himself for her when he could easily bought her one? Also yes! He is such a sweetheart. And he too, went through a lot in life, I guess that's why he and Eiliyah could understand each other so much, even when they were not communicating by words.

All of the characters in this book are really incredible. The side characters had so much depth. And I wish I could kick some the characters out of the book, and give a hug to some of the others. This book is what I call a rollercoaster ride.

I'm so much in love with this book. I was so much into it, I felt kinda empty when I finished it. When I saw Umme Pritam apu's story about being an ARC reader of Eiliyah, I signed up immediately. Because I didn’t want to miss this chance to read this book early. My goal was to finish it within 3 days, before the book is released. I sadly couldn’t accomplish it, so much happened and I went on break. But thanks a lot to Umme Pritam apu for the chance to read this book early. She has done a great job, this book is such a gem! Best wished to the author!

𝑅𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 ~⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The story is about a girl named Eiliyah aka Ellie who had a tragic childhood. Usually, fathers love their childs, especially, daughters more than anyone else. But, Ellie was so unfortunate that she only got abused by her father.
He never cared for Ellie and her feelings. He didn't even hesitate to lock little Ellie in dark washroom for silly mistakes.

But, Ellie managed to build a world of her own through which she used to escape reality.
She had her toy Mr.Dino, Doggo, photography and a boy named Hussain from the orphanage beside their home as best friends. Hussain and Ellie had a great understanding among them. Hussain made Ellie read several books and Ellie fall in love with reading. Ellie had to move to a new place for her father's job and lost her beloved friend.

At the age of 18,she lost her mother and her misery enhanced. After this, she had to move to her father's house even though she never liked the idea. There she met her next door neighbour, Raiyan, who turned out to be her sunshine in her cloudy life.

Raiyan comforted her in all possible ways and supported her to go through the tough time.

I knew that I'm gonna love this book just after reading the blurb. But,tbh, I didn't expected this much from this book! The character building, world building were so perfectly done. And, I must say something about the pace. It was neither too fast nor too slow. It proceeded smoothly. This book made me forget that I was reading.

'Eiliyah' is not just a romance novel. Rather,it teaches you to be a tough person,it teaches you to go on no matter what.

How can a debut novel be this fine? I'll highly recommend this book to everyone. Especially, to those who like CoHo books. Pritam apu, you just nailed it! I can't thank you enough for choosing me as one of your ARC readers. This book has become one of my favourite reads of '22 & I'm gonna cherish this book for a pretty long time.

I got the book a few days ago and it was hard to resist. The tropes, the emotions and everything about this book was painfully beautiful!!!
The emotions that Eilli felt was so overwhelming and Raiyan;what a piece of comfort he is!!!

★I loved how Eiliyah was not a damsel in distress waiting for his prince charming to have the most dramatic entry and save her.She has fought the war on her own and let the most warm breeze Raiyan brush over her.Not having Raiyan in the end of chapter 20 was THE best decision.

★"Sometimes, the heart frees itself by not forgiving because some people don't deserve forgiveness.." This line will be forever curved in my heart.I don't know why people expect to forgive people who put me in the worst situation where all I breath is black air and never felt sorry.Just because they popped up in my story at the end I am not obliged to forgive. No, that's a big no.

★The book potrayed child molestation just perfectly. I have a great respect for apu that she decided to touch this heavy topics.

★Ellie's father caused her this much of trauma?I loved loved loved this emotions.

★People who loved heart bones and it ends with us, folk this book is totally for us....

I get a strong Miss swift vibe from this book I don't know why and so I'm crying in AUGUST.Here is the playlist -

🤎Better man

Hoax🤎

Tolerate it🤎

Emails I can't send🤎

Train wreck🤎

Then when it all ends there come "LOVER."

A heartwarming romance

What a beautiful book to start the year with! Eiliyah is a story about a girl from Bangladesh who narrates her story over three different timelines. One is 2004 when Eiliah was 8 years old and starts telling this story of that timeline to her daughter in 2039. The third one is 2018 when she found her life back.
The traumatic life that Eiliyah shared really take you on a rollercoaster of emotions as a reader. She is such a strong character!
From dealing with an abusive father who never showed any compassion towards her to how she makes her escape world with her doggo, photography, Mr. Dino and her best friend Hussain from the orphanage , you feel that you know her and get to love her as she shares her story.
At the age of 18 she looses Hussain and tragically, her mother too and through moving to her father's house , she meets Rayan her true love. Rayan has also had a difficult childhood, but he is s caring and understanding person , who becomes Eiliyah’s best friend and lover.
A heartwarming love story with beautiful and strong main character. I loved it!
Highly recommended.

I finished reading this book in one sitting! UNPUTDOWNABLE!!! It was such a page-turner. Beautifully written. I doubted at one point whether this one is really a debut novel from the author? But it is. I won't be surprised if this novel reaches a new milestone.
The strongest side of the novel was its characters. All of them were written so skillfully. The main lead Ellie is now one of my all-time favorite main leads in literature. She is strong, super strong but also flawed like all of us which let me feel a touch of reality.
I felt joy, I cried, I felt enraged, and my heart melted- went through so many emotions while reading this novel. My heart ached for Raiyan, Ellie, and Doggo. I was so mad at the author at one point ( for a good reason).
Eiliyah is full of beautiful quotes too. My Favorite quote: "You might love many times in life but fall only once."

I wish all the love for the author for her debut- Eiliyah. Please never stop writing.

Note: I got the book as an eARC.

I received this book as an Arc. It was the debut novel of the writer. And I must say Umme Pritam apu did an amazing work with the whole story.

This is a heartwarming love-story with complicated back-story.It was such an engaging read that I finished it in one day. I felt sad, happy, anger while reading it. There were some mystery in the story but I kinda guessed them all long ahead🙃 but that didn't make the read any less enjoyable.

I think the best side of this book was the characters. All of them are so well-developed and really loveable. I absolutely loved Eiliyah. She is a strong, kind, bold badass character but also has flaws like all of us which made her my favourite. And Raiyan, he's every girls dream boy❤️.Plus point he has a bookstore😁. All the other characters were also amazing. I loved the bond between Ellie and Areeba, made me want to have a big sister☹️.

I will definitely recommend this book to anyone who read romance or more specific CoHo type romance.

3.5. Thank you to Book Sirens for the ARC which I was so happy to receive. First off, I absolutely love the cover of this book. I was drawn to it immediately. It made me want to see what the book is about. This is ultimately a book about hope and forgiveness in a world where it’s pretty hard to have either. A young girl befriends an orphan in Bangladesh. Both have very unhappy childhoods. Meeting up again several years later they find love together. It was a good storyline.

Cons- there were many grammatical errors which sometimes made me focus more on the mistake than what was written, including wrong names at times, capital letters when there shouldn’t be, etc. Since this book is already published I’m not sure if/when they’ll be corrected.

Book: EILIYAH
Author : Umme Pritam
Genre : Fictional romance
Personal rating : 4/5⭐️

"𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐬𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐢𝐭, 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭, 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝, 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐭."

"Eiliyah" arrived just in time, right before the joyous occasion of Eid. However, amidst a busy schedule and months of being unable to immerse myself in a good book, it remained untouched on my shelf. But fate had something magical in store for me. Today, on the day before my exam, an unexpected longing to dive into its pages consumed me.

"𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐨 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭."

However I embarked on a reading journey that captured my heart and mind from the very first sentence.
This book is a refreshing read set in Dhaka. It has an intriguing plot and explores difficult topics. The romance between Raiyan and Eiliyah is sweet and heartfelt, although a bit fast-paced.
The book tackles sexual abuse and shows Eiliyah's commendable character growth. The orphanage subplot is also a great addition. However, I guessed two mysteries early on, which lessened the surprise factor for me.

Overall, it's a well-written book with a strong romantic plot.

*I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.*

This story broke my heart and then managed to find a way to piece it back together chapter by chapter. Eiliyah is intense, it deals with dark content matter (TW: CSA, pedophilia, & molestation) and that should be considered before you embark on this journey, but if you can handle the darkness there is so much light to be found. Haunted by her past, Ellie is struggling. She has just lost her mother and is still trying to deal with her trauma from her childhood simultaneously. This is definitely a contemporary romance between our main couple, but it is also a love story for Ellie as she learns to love herself and learns that she is worthy and good enough.

Eiliyah came full circle in the most lovely of ways and I hope everyone will give this book a chance to move their heart.

The story of the little Eliyah is heartbreaking. Little Eliyah Was abused traumatised and betrayed by her own people.
But in the midst of her sorrow, she found love, too young to know, too young to call it love. But she knew the moment she saw those pure honey brown eyes . Eliyah Lost too much, I would say Ellie is one of the strongest FMC I have read, she billed herself with respect and confidence again. Broken Eliyah knew this world isn't her comfort place, so she better walk on heels. While grieving her mother's death, she found herself again in the grey clouds with her father. New please new people everything was too much for her, but the unexpected next door neighbour was too handsome to ignore
• The same neighbour, who also owns a vintage bookstore, a fucking vintage bookstore. I would marry Raiyan Abdullah with paper rings. so Raiyan was hellbent on comforting Ellie when her asshole boyfriend dumped her for bullshit. ( never liked him). Raiyan is everything a girl can dream of.
The moment Raiyan saw his next door neighbour, moving in.
He knew her. He wasn't sure of her, but deep inside, he feels her . Raiyan had been abandoned by his people all his life. He had trust issues, but the girl next door held promises, but he knew his secrets would drift them apart again, and Raiyan wasn't ready to lose ellie again.
HIS ELLIE
I kind of predicted the plot from the mid of the book. what got me reading till the last page and cry my eyes out?
Definitely the Raiyan Abdullah guy!! OH MY GOD!! He is so fine, the gentleman of all the time. Every time I found Raiyan doing anything for Ellie, I blushed. he has that much affect on me specially when he made the damn book self. AHHHH!!!
In the perspective of a Bangladeshi girl from a bullshit family, Eliyah was the perfect fucking book. Girls can do anything .
They need no men to stand up. This book was so relatable that it made me question. Why didn't I pick it up before? Why late 2 fucking years

What a story! I haven't read something like this in years! Hold my beer Man. It's dazzling, emotional and what not! Loooooooved every bit of the book. This book deserves every award this year in contemporary romance category. Heart achingly beautiful.

I met *Eiliyah* in the quiet after my exams—and I didn’t realize this story would wrap itself around my heart like it did. Ellie & Raiyan’s journey, their silence, their warmth, their healing… it all stayed. And I wanted to bottle that feeling up. And the author, Umme Pritam apu is such an amazing being as an author as well as a person. Can't wait to read her upcoming writings!!!

Eiliyah is a beautifully written novel that reflects pieces of real life—family, friendship, healing, love, and the quiet strength of growing up. The story follows Ellie (Eiliyah), and it’s told from her perspective through different stages of her life.
