Theo may have not wanted this omega, but that doesn't mean he's going to let her go. She's his, and that means any alpha who tastes her estrous or her blood is a dead man walking. Everyone in Darvus knows the du Sangs don't share.
But it seems like someone didn't get the memo.
Anna didn't flee the penthouse like the brothers first thought; she was abducted by their enemy, and now it's time to narrow down precisely which pack is responsible. A little digging uncovers a traitor in their midst, which means it's time to clean house. No one will survive the du Sangs’ wrath with their sanity still intact.
Not even their little mate.
The Dreaded is book two of three in the Hunted ♥ Three alpha males ★ One omega female ♥ Abduction/Kidnapping ★ Twin alphas ♥ Dark vampire omegaverse ★ Revenge ♥ Ends on a cliffhanger but I promise you a HEA at the end of the series
USA Today bestselling author, D.E. Chapman is a fantasy novel addict that reads them as much as she writes them, often pretending to be her characters. After all, life is infinitely more exciting with magic and dragons. She hopes to one day write a book so fantastical that it creates a portal to another world. But beware, not all she writes is sunshine and happy endings. There are darker stories hiding within the depths of her mind, filled with mature content and twisted themes, so tread with caution!
The alphas get their kidnapped omega back, and exhibit a bunch of fake outrage at her treatment will in captivity. They completely let it fly over their heads that they are just as bad as the kidnappers, having had sex with her while she was tied up and then continued to do so against her wishes while holding her captive. You would think the hospital they take her to would pick up on the fact that she's with them under false pretenses, at least ask who these strange men are while you pull out the r*pe kit 🤦🏾♀️
This is part of the Hunted series picking up where book one The Damned left off but this isn’t for the faint of heart so tread lightly when we left off Anna has been taken by a total psycho beyond crazy and with the bloodlust looming close and their mother demanding payment or the field. Poor Anna the things she had to endure at the hands of a crazy man when he finely dumps her in a ditch and her alphas finding seeing the damage and how broken she is brings out the best in them. The three of the find out her name isn’t Anna but Clair the girl they grew up with, their mother kidnapped her, held her hostage, and threw her to them all to force their hand in giving up the field but where are they headed down a broken omega, no closer to who took her to begin with, no closer to learning how he got into the den to take her, will they finely put their mother in her place, will they find out who took her, why he took her, why he hurts omegas then killing them, will they be able to stop him so many questions and we are waiting ( I REALLY HATE CLIFFHANGERS)!.

I really didn't know what to expect after ready the first book.
Did the reluctant mate leave of her own free will or was she -napped for the second time?
Would the Alphas come looking for her in anger for fleeing or fear for her safety?
So many questions. The story really didn't disappoint. Those trigger warnings helped to be forewarned, but not to give foresight into what was about to happen. All I can say is crazy is going to hit the fan so watch out for the mess that follows. There may be parts you want to close your close at.
Looking forward to see how these alphaholes handle that this situation and learn to grow from it. Love the interesting take on the Omegaverse.

You must read the first book, “The Damned”, before reading this book, so you know what is going on. This is an omegaverse story with a couple of twists. Anna their omega has been taken. Who took her? Who has the balls to take her? Can Theo and Brenton hold the bloodlust off until she is found? Anna is in deep dark trouble. Some psycho took her. I’m not going to answer the questions. You must read this book! My only complaint is I must wait for the next book. This book is trigger loaded and is not for the faint of heart or for regular readers. I loved the book as much as I loved the first book. DE please write the third one really soon.
I usually don't have an issue with dark romance but this one goes past my limits, (spoiler) the fmc is tortured and raped by a stranger which is bad enough but she's basically raped by one of her alphas repeatedly as well. Apparently that's ok because even though her mind doesn't want him her body does. The world building and characters had some promise but the abuse disgusted me. So what if they changed thier attitudes after getting her back, it doesn't excuse one of her alphas being as bad as her other attacker.
I liked how the MMC have been developing and slowly shedding their rough and uncaring exterior. I am really wishing we had some more insight into the FMC herself. I don’t have any sort of inclination as to what her personality is and we didn’t get anything from her this book. With the reveal at the end I am curious to see how everything pans out but I do have an idea of who is behind everything. The introduction of their father was a welcome addition to this group. If you are looking for a fast burn spicy novella series look no further!
This is a dark book. Definitely darker then the first, but I love a good book that makes you start off the anti hero and then changes your opinion midway thru. I think it shows a great author that can redeem a dark anti hero and make you start liking them. And she does it with the 3 main male characters. I am really looking forward to where this series is going to go from here. And I really like that you get to meet the omega Father as well!
This looks like it’s going to be a great book! I am currently reading the first one and I can’t put it down!! This one seems so good in the description I just had to go back and grab the first one, I’m really looking forward to this one. I plan to post a second review for this one once I’m done, but I can’t wait to see how this one ends.

This novella series is good but one thing to note is that chapter 7 has like 4 chapters in it. The ending of the bok is also in it so I would suggest you read unknowns section go to chapter 8 and read from there. Ch.7 has multiple chapters within it and they are out of order
—>>> The synopsis basically covers all the main events in this second installment, but not the emotional turmoil of the Alphas and the Omega caught in their situations. There will be revenge, and I hope it will be sweet. I think I know what may be coming…but I cannot wait to see how this will all work out in the final book!
Another fantastic instalment in the Hunted series. Deliciously dark and dangerous, not for the fainthearted. Great character development, and storyline evolution. Would recommend. Cannot wait for the next book.

It seems like this author was trying to do too much and not enough word count to cover. Everything is moving along very quickly or being glossed over/ mentioned in passing. This had the potential to be a great full-length novel because it read like a condensed novel, rather than a novella (if that makes sense).
