Losing my mother and my three fathers broke something inside me and I don’t think that hole will ever be fixed. Watching them all wither away was the worst misery I’ve ever had to face. The very idea of staying home and facing my loss is enough to undo me completely.
So instead, it’s time for me to leave home, leave what remains of my family and venture out into the unknown. I’m terrified of what I’ll see out there but I’m a beta female, no interest to anyone, let alone alphas and their penchant for biting. I’m as safe as I can be all things considered and my journey isn’t far.
What I see outside my family’s cabin isn’t as scary as I envisioned it’d be. I make it to the nearest town easily enough and manage to find myself a little job that pays me room and board.
It’s there I meet them. It’s there my life changes unexpectedly.
Turns out I’m not a beta after all and I’m surrounded by hungry alphas salivating for their own omega to claim.
I never should have left home.
Fully Severed is a dark romance omegaverse that's not suitable for everyone. This is book two in the series and while each can be read as a standalone, it's recommended you read them in order as characters from book one play a significant role in the main characters life in this one. ♥ Female omega and four male alphas ★ Unexpected reveal as an omega ♥ Pair bonds ★ MM ♥ Alternating POV ★ Bandits and murder ♥ Timeline for this book is set 25 years after book one ★ Open-ended story
USA Today bestselling author, D.E. Chapman is a fantasy novel addict that reads them as much as she writes them, often pretending to be her characters. After all, life is infinitely more exciting with magic and dragons. She hopes to one day write a book so fantastical that it creates a portal to another world. But beware, not all she writes is sunshine and happy endings. There are darker stories hiding within the depths of her mind, filled with mature content and twisted themes, so tread with caution!
I don't know how many Omeraverse books other reviewers have read but this was a good book and normally I give five 🌟 to this genre. The differences stuck out like sore thumbs. There was no definitive reason given for her latent Omega to surface unless it was from the beta's invading the farm. Yes when she finally revealed as an Omega, it was good that she had four considerate alphas to help her through her first heat. Not a whole lot of plot. Through in the relationship of Wyatt to the King but why did the King need all the Omegas in the Realm? Never explained why, what happened to them while under his lock and key. The Kings presence could have been a nifty fit in the story if expanded. BUT the most glaring difference from most Omeraverse books is which the Alphas didn't seem to communicate through the bond or did she need to bite her mates back in order to open up theIr minds to meld. Go ahead and read it. You be the judge. I said from the beginning it was a good book.
Mia (h) leaves her family home after her mother and alpha fathers pass quickly one after the other. She takes a job as a harvester on a farm run by four alphas, Wyatt (H), Oliver (H), Carter (H), and Noah (H). Mia begins exhibiting omega characteristics and is surprised to find that she’s an omega, not a beta as she’s been raised to believe. Things heat up quickly between Mian and the four alphas who’ll do anything to protect the omega they’ve claimed. Hot and steamy Omegaverse RH quickie with knotting, nesting, claiming, MM, MFM, and more. There are some dark, violent aspects – assault (FMC), and murder/torture (MMCs protecting FMC).
This was pretty good, I loved how the story played out and the way the characters came together, it had some doesn’t bits and but I just wish there was a little more to the ending and a little more action when it came to the men having to leave, what happen to the king? Did they get the answers they needed? What about extending the family, is she going to have any pups of their own? Are they ever going to find out what happen to their Alpha Female? So many questions stop left unanswered. But still a really good story. Give it a shot.

The time has come for Mia to leave home. As a beta she should be fine. She takes a job working for four alphas. Something happens and Mia is no longer a beta. Here her life changes drastically forever. This is a very dark omegaverse story. This is not a book for the faint of heart. There are scenes of no con and rape. With that said DE Chapman always delivers dark hot romance. I do recommend reading the first book “Torn Apart” before this book. Reading both connects some events together.
I enjoyed this short read! Mia losses her mother and fathers and she feels out of sorts even though her uncles and aunt are a huge support, Mia was to leave home and find her way. Arriving into town, Mia find a job working the harvest with four Alphas. Being a Beta and welcomed into their home was what Mia needed. Little did she know a tragic event would change her life. Only thought was that is felt like the ending was just there as I wanted a bit more.

For a moment I thought I may have gotten the wrong book. It seemed like a light and hopeful story. A young beta setting out into the world after the death of her parents, determined to make life more than the isolated life she grew up in. But even when the shift happens, I wasn't prepared for it either. You just get sucked into the pages of this book and find yourself screaming at the characters to "watch out" or "hurry up". Enjoyed this one very much. I do, though, want to know what happened to the "king".
This was unusual with a beta, who had recently lost her parents, suddenly presenting as an omega when she got work at a farm owned by 4 alphas. While working the farm Mia is attacked by brigands and as she recovers her omega emerges. This was low key with moments of brutality. The ending seems almost cut off, as if there was a bit more missing, like the last book. Well written with mention of previous characters.
I started out crying from the beginning because I could feel the loss. Then I felt warm and happy when she met her roommate's/Alphas. But then tragedy strikes again. But the love that follows is so beautiful. My one complaint is I would have loved to know what the Alphas discovered after their journey.

I hardly ever write a review, but this book and the 1st Torn Apart are very disappointing indeed. They are both short and feel unfinished. Both books end very unexpectedly. Shame really.
I liked all the twists in this story, even the sad ones. Mia was so sweet and shy, and she was the perfect mate for her alphas. Home is where the heart is.

I found that this book was really good. The characters were developed and well thought out. The chemistry between them is sudden. Mia had to find out the hard way that she was actually an omega.

I liked it. I wasn't huge fan of some of the story gaps but those are explained so you don't feel the gaps much. It's a good read but I wish it was longer.
Overall it was pretty good and a quick read.

I think I would've enjoyed a direct continuation of the first book more than this next generation story. I found myself skipping paragraphs, the characters weren't really as likable, the emotions weren't really there and the overall story didn't really catch my attention either. Sad!
