This is for the ones who feel deeply, who find it easy to romanticize moments and people, who are coming to terms with their trauma and aching, who are learning what it really means to heal. This book is for the ones who seek comfort in words with the hope of feeling less alone.
If you are hurting, healing, loving, or simply existing somewhere in between, I hope you find solace here.
This is such a poignant, compassionate collection of poetry that will resonate with anyone who has gone on their own healing journey or has struggled with letting go of a love that’s past its expiration date. Beautiful, heartbreaking, and hopeful—five out of five stars for sure.
“Maybe that is why we feel the way we do. The sky opens and we float. Do you believe in heaven? It’s in these little wonders that I start to believe in something I almost lost all faith in.”
Picked up a few books by The Thought Catalogue. This one is a light read; a poetry collection which I found a little boring and generic, repetitive in content and style. It’s not bad, but not special either.
I’m a hardcore non-fiction reader - this was not on my reading list. I stumbled upon this, and read it cover to cover in an entire sitting. I love audio books, so actually reading this, I can’t emphasize this enough: It’s beautiful, a story and journey that kept me curious and wanting more.
This beautiful book of poetry is a letter from the heart. I can tell the author wrote from the depths of her soul and the complementary imagery offer an air of sweet nostalgia. It's a piece of work I will save and continue to refer back to.
It was really good and lovely and helpful…and then it got dramatic…and then it got repetitive…but the last little poem was cute. I think this could have been much more powerful than it turned out to be
"beautiful" is an understatement. i've been trying to switch up the genres i’m reading this year, and this is the first poetry book i've read in a while. the emotions just felt so real and raw. i have never related to something more than while reading this. the author describes her relationship to self-love and loving others.
Comforting and lovely poetry collection that drew me in. It became a bit repetitive towards the end, but it's still a good read. 🤍
What lingered with me the most was, “I can be grateful for the woman I became, with all my strength and love and hope, simply because that is who I am, not because it’s who the pain forced me to grow into.”

This is a very beautifully written collection of poems. About love and self love. Perfect for mending a broken heart.
"I wonder why we're so quick to love others, why we forget to give some of that love to ourselves, especially when we are the ones who need it the most." ~ Kelly Peacock
Read this during a tough period of my life and it was very cathartic to do so. If you’re confused, sad & don’t know how to articulate your feelings, this book can help you voice out what you’re going through. I found myself highlighting so much.
I thought this book was good. Normally, I'm not too fond of poetry, but one of my goals this year was to read a poetry book a month, so here I am. From the excerpts I was shown of this book, I thought it was more about mental health than healing over a breakup so I really could not relate. But overall, it was good.
For those trying to heal A sweet and intimate compilation of poems and thoughts that can get painful to read if you relate too much. Also, some of them might help express what you are feeling without even knowing.
