Last night I made out with a gorgeous woman who made me feel things I haven’t felt in years. Today I learned she’s the new executive chef at my restaurant. AKA my new boss.
Yep, that’s the hot mess I’m in at the moment.
Dating a co-worker is asking for trouble. And while I might be up for the risk, Natalie has her own set of complications. She’s a single mom focused on helping her little girl adjust to life in the big city.
And I respect that. I do. I try my best to resist....
But the more time I spend with her--and her incredible daughter--the more I think this could be something worth fighting for.
Especially after we spend another night together, then another and another...
But will she ever let me into her life? Or is this seduction doomed from the start?
Author of over forty novels, USA Today Bestseller Lili Valente writes everything from steamy suspense to laugh-out-loud romantic comedies. She can't resist a story where love wins big. Because love should always win. She lives in Vermont with her two big-hearted boy children and a dog named Pippa Jane.

I loved Cameron’s story! If you’ve been reading the V-Card Diaries series than he is no stranger. It was wonderful to get even closer to him, get to know him just like Natalie did… Well, not quite lol…
They met in, shall I say, an unusual cooking class. There was much laughter and more than a spoonful of mortification in one of the funniest story openers I can remember. What followed was an unexpected connection and a huge curve ball. Through it all there was great writing, more laughter and a whole lot of tension – and not all of it was steamy goodness…
Put it all together and it was my most recent favourite of the series. Friendship and love can tackle anything and I love it when it wins! So flippin’ good! ~Diane, 5 'cricket' stars
Man, throughout this series so far Derrick has been my number one, but Cam? He just came in and bulldozed his way on top! He is a sweet, hot, swoony and talented chef. Natalie is a beautiful talented and successful chef and mom. They have a chance meeting at a cooking class and have an immediate connection. So much that they can't stop thinking about each other. I loved every moment of this book. They were so cute together and I loved how she always referred to him as The Cutest Boy in the World! This book is not to be missed!!
**My thanks to the author for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**
This is the third book in the series and can certainly be read as a stand alone, there are only little bits of Camerons best friends and flat mates in the book, so you really don't need to know their backstory.
Cameron is a 24 year old man living in an apartment with his three female best friends, he is a lovely character with strength in who he is and a bloody good chef.
He meets Natalie at a cooking class where crickets are being used and Natalie does not find they agree with her and Cameron and Natalie hit is off even though he is 10 years younger than her.
The next day however they find out that she is his new boss and restaurant owner, but there is a no fraternisation policy.
Both struggle with their feelings and Natalie eventually changes her mind about the policy and she asks Cameron out to a fancy gala, where of course they get on like a house on fire.
Both keep secrets from the other, although Cams is not as big or scary as Natalies and in every situation Cameron proves himself to be the most perfect man for Natalie and charms our pants off.
I really enjoyed this book and really look forward to the last book in the series and to see how workaholic nerd Jess gets her happy ever after.
Seduced was such a fantastic read, and dare I say that it's my favorite in the V-Card Diaries series to date? Lili Valente gives readers a fun-filled romance with a reverse age gap (one of my favorite tropes!) featuring Cameron, the lone guy in the close-knit circle of friends who happen to all be virgins, and Natalie, the single mom who is a decade older than Cam and just happens to be his boss. The flirty banter and sizzling connection between these main characters made their story even more engrossing. Yes, their relationship was complicated, more so with all the secrets that were being kept, but I couldn't help but root for them because they seemed to truly belong together. Giving this third in a series five stars is a no-brainer.
They are both chefs - she is boss and 10 yo than him. They meet at a cricket cooking class - she throws up. They hit it off right away - drinks and kisses. He is a virgin and doesn’t tell her. She has a crazy ex boyfriend who tried to kill her. She also has a 4 yo daughter. He finds out about the psycho and is able to save her when he kidnaps her. They are a cute couple- she just says what is on her mind. Hea with him proposing on rooftop- meanwhile she also has a ring. - epilogue- 2 more baby girls

Oh my gosh! What an adorable story. I don’t know if it was that the main character is a man who has struggled to lose his virginity, that both of the main characters are chefs or little four-year-old Chrissy, who is obsessed with dinosaurs and getting a kitten, but all of these things together made for such a delightful book. There is quite a bit of drama and danger near the end that I wasn’t expecting but it definitely pulled all of the characters together which I loved. This book is part of a series but can definitely be enjoyed as a standalone, there is just overlap of the characters that you meet.
Seduced is the 3rd in a 4 book series built around 4 childhood friends (3 women and a man) who grew up in N. J. now in their early twenties sharing an apartment in New York City. Evie and Harlowe the first two in the series to find love are graduate students. Jesse is a video game designer and sometimes hacker working impossibly long hours to prove her worth to her employer in a male dominated industry. Cameron the subject of this book is a culinary school graduate who works as the sous chef at a Michelin 2 star rated restaurant. Somehow despite being healthy, intelligent and attractive twenty-somethings these four friends made it into their twenties still holding on to their V-Cards. As the series title suggests each book is about one of the four finding their forever love and losing their virginity. All of them to date (leaving only Jesse) may have been virgins at the start of the series but they’re certainly not blushing innocent virgins having done everything orally and manually when it comes to sex other than have actual penetrative sex. Once they have cashed in their V-Card at least Evie and Harlowe are hardly shy in sharing their new found joy in sex. Cam is of course too much of a gentleman to share what he and Beth are enjoying between the sheets among other places. Cameron had been in a 5 year relationship with his high school sweetheart through college. Because she had promised her family she’d save herself until marriage, while they’d done everything short of having actual sex they had never crossed that line. Cameron loved and respected her enough to wait for their wedding night. That is until he came to her dorm room unexpectedly one day to discover his supposed virgin girlfriend in bed with two guys. After some failed attempts at revenge fucks Cameron realizes that he really doesn’t want to fuck just any woman. He want’s the one. Or at least someone who might be the one. He meets Beth at a cooking class and they immediately click and go out for drinks. They make plans to see each other again the next week despite Beth’s reservations about their 10 year age difference. Beth had run away from a very abusive ex, the father of her 4 year old daughter to start over again in N.Y.C. She’s not looking for Mr. Right so much as she’s hoping to find Mr. Right Now to scratch a lingering itch having been celibate for several months. Despite their age difference she finds Cam extremely attractive nicknaming him “The Cutest Boy in the World”. Not knowing he’s a virgin she’s thinking he can be the perfect guy to end her non-self-induced orgasm drought. Cameron thinks in Beth he may have found the one. Until the next morning when they both discover she’s the new owner of the restaurant Cam works at and she’s instituted a hard, “no fraternization between employees” policy because she doesn’t want relationship drama at work interfering with her drive to make her restaurant one of the best in the City. After a brief attempt at holding on to her no fraternization policy her attraction to Cameron becomes too much and she breaks her own rules. After a wonderful evening together Cameron takes Beth back to his apartment where despite being a virgin he provides her with several orgasms and loses his virginity. When Beth overhears his roommates talking the next morning about whether Cam is still a virgin Beth is shocked to discover she is the one to have deflowered this incredibly handsome and charming 24 year old. But after he explains how that came to be and given his 5 star performance in the bedroom she quickly gets over her shock and continues to spend time with him. Cam is not only a terrific boyfriend but he also becomes a terrific pseudo-father figure to her daughter. Beth keeps worrying that like her daughter’s father sooner or later Cam will show his true colors and not be as perfect as he appears. But after weeks of working and pretty much living together her fears are assuaged. Unfortunately her ex who somehow got an early release from his prison sentence and violated his parole shows up to threaten Cam’s and Beth’s happy future. Decent story. Plenty of likable characters. Lots of steam sex scenes.
“He’s kind, patient and sweet, but strong, confident, and sexy as hell at the same time. Basically, he’s the kind of unicorn man I wasn’t sure existed in real life.”
Seduced: A V-Card Diaries Novel by Lili Valente is a single mom, age gap, dating the boss romance. After saving his V-card for wedding night as requested by his fiancé, Cameron walks in on her in bed with two men. Now he finds himself as a 24-year-old virgin living with his best friends in the city and working as a chef. He has watched two of his best friends find the loves of their lives and he wants that for himself. But he figures that since he has held onto his V-card for so long that he shouldn’t give it away to just anyone. One night, he meets his dream woman in a cooking class, and he can’t wait to see where their relationship goes. One problem though… she turns out to be his boss and the new owner of the restaurant where he works.
The last several years have turned Natalie’s life upside down, and not in the good way. She is looking for a new start for herself and her 4-year-old daughter, so she puts her dreams on the line, moves across the country, and buys a restaurant. Will NYC be the start of everything she is looking for, or will she discover more? Enter Cameron, an absolutely sweet and swoony guy that is determined to win Natalie’s heart. Will Natalie allow him in her heart and her daughter’s life, or will she keep it locked up? Can Cameron prove to Natalie that he will keep his promises and always put her and her daughter first? Will Natalie be the woman that Cameron is searching for, and will he finally rid himself of his pesky V-card?
This book is narrated by Amanda Ronconi and Jason Clarke. We are fairly new to listening to Amanda, and we really enjoyed her performance. Jason is amazing as ever, portraying Cameron perfectly as the lovable hero he is.
Seduced can be read as a stand-alone, but it is the third book in the V-card Diaries series. We recommend reading the series in order, so you can fully appreciate the characters and their growth. The first two books are Evie and Harlow’s happily ever afters. The fourth book will be Jessica’s story. As always, we cannot wait for the next installment. We just adore Lili’s books. She has a way of captivating us from the very beginning and taking us on a journey filled with lovable characters, a bit of drama and a lot of laughs.
“…she’s the brightest part of my day-of my life, thus far- and that loving her is all I want to do today, tomorrow, and for as long as she’ll have me.”
I loved loved Cameron and Natalie (and Crissy’s story). Natalie is 34, a chef, a recent transplant to the New York city, and a single mother. Cameron is a sous chef, a 24 year old virgin and determined to find the perfect woman to lose his virginity to and find his forever with. When they meet at an unfortunate insect cooking class Cam thinks he may have found the one. Until the next morning when Natalie turns out to be his new boss who has a no fraternization policy. But the chemistry and the draw between them is too much to ignore fate and not to continue the swoony journey to their HEA. The book has a little bit of everything - sweet moments, steamy scenes, strong friendships, laughs, painful pasts, light danger, and all the heart squeezing love. Experiencing the journey of Cameron and Natalie as they fall in love and work through their individual issues, especially Natalie, gave me all the feels - you will laugh, cry, swoon, grind your teeth, cheer, get a little anxious, and happy sigh. This story includes three dimensional characters who grow, witty dialogue, and an engaging storyline with light angst. And Chrissy was a wonderful and integral addition to the story rather than a flimsy story prop. She’s simply the best T Rex. This is a standalone story and can be enjoyed without reading the other books in the series but do yourself a favor and read them. They’re all fantastic. I am excited to read what happens for Jess, the final virgin roommate. I willingly reviewed an early copy of this book.
“I’ve never experienced anything like last night. The moment I laid eyes on her, I couldn’t look away. There was just this instant connection, this intense…excited feeling. Like I’d finally found the person I’ve been waiting for.” 🍜 Review: Seduced by Lili Valente. A V-Card Diaries series, book 3. 🍳 Hands down my favorite book from this series. And that means a lot, because the first two books were great and I had a lot of fun reading them. There’s plenty of tropes surrounding this story: reverse age-gap, the guy (Cameron) is the virgin one, office romance, single mom, add to all that lento of steam, funny banters and even a little suspense and action, it was a winner for me.
Cameron never thought that the woman he met the day before is his new boss. Natalie is the new owner of the restaurant he’s a chef and the surprise of the reveal goes both ways. She never thought that the guy she’s attracted to is now her employee. With her luck, things can only go downhill.
I loved how he never gave up on her, even when she threw plenty of curveballs at his direction. The bond he formed with Crissy, her daughter, was adorable and I had lots of fun with the her and Natalie joining his group of friends.
Natalie’s past story has plenty of drama, so I was super glad that Lili didn’t add unnecessary aspects to their relationship, even when he revealed she was his first. Both of them worked on their issues with maturity and grew so strong together.
I can’t wait to read the last story of this great series. I highly recommend all of the books in it.
Every single thing about this book was adorable and swoony. I wasn’t sure how a male virgin, reverse age gap would work but this was perfection. I literally smiled the entire time.
Cameron is the only male friend in the virgin friend group this series is focused on. He was saving himself for marriage because of his long-time girlfriend’s wishes. But, as we remember from the other books, she broke those wishes with someone else. Cameron is a sweetheart, unproblematic, and the fact that Natalie and her best friend call him “the Cutest Boy in the World” is the sweetest.
He goes to a tasting event where he meets a woman who gets sick and he takes care of her before getting to know her in a bar after the event. It’s an instant connection that can’t be stopped— even when they try to ignore it because she’s the new owner of the restaurant he works at.
The biggest surprise? Who knew my man was such a dirty talker! He may be a virgin, but you can tell his oozes confidence. The first time between him and Natalie was five alarm spicy!
Natalie was great. She has drama surrounding her and her adorable daughter that I won’t spoil but she’s amazing. Everything I hoped for in someone for Cameron! They’re perfect together. Their ending and epilogue were my favorite to date.
I’m DESPERATELY waiting for the final book. The teaser was out of this world.
I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
“Seduced” is a steamy and heartfelt laugh out loud rom-com that I could not put down. It’s the third book “V Card Diaries” series and I absolutely loved Cameron and Natalie.
Cameron has met the woman who he thinks could be the one. They have an instant connection over cocktails after a cooking class gone wrong. But to both of their surprises, Natalie is Cameron’s new boss at the restaurant he recently got promoted at. Natalie has a strict no fraternizing policy and Cameron respectfully follows her rules. But the two have an attraction that neither can deny.
I loved these two together! Cameron was a favorite of mine from the first two books and I’m so happy to finally get his story. It’s rare to have a book where the male main character is still carrying his V card but his story absolutely did him justice. Cameron is caring, genuine, and overall a great guy. There’s no way anyone would be able to resist him. Natalie was equally amazing. Being head chef, owner and a single mom kicking you know what and taking names. I’m so glad this was a reverse age gap, those are my favorite.
Jason Clarke and Amanda Ronconi did an amazing job bringing Cameron and Natalie’s story to life. Jason brought all of Cameron’s swooninest qualities out and Amanda did great as Natalie. You can never go wrong listening to anything narrated by Jason and I’m looking forward to listening to more by Amanda.
“If it weren’t for crickets, we might never have fallen in love.”
Seduced was light, flirty fun with a smidge of suspense. When Cam meets Nat in a cooking class, they are form an instant connection, but the next day, Cam finds out that Nat is his new boss. Will they be able to resist their attraction or will the heat be too hot in the kitchen?
“The moment I laid eyes on her, I couldn’t look away. There was just this instant connection, this intense…excited feeling. Like I’d finally found the person I’ve been waiting for.”
Cam was such a sweetheart. His protectiveness and huge heart made him so swoony. I loved how he was so sweet with Nat’s daughter. I loved Nat, too. She had survived a painful past and was looking to her future. She was unsure of becoming involved with a younger man, but she found herself unable to resist Cam’s charms.
“When the universe gifts you with a once-in-a-lifetime connection, don’t take it for granted.”
Cam and Nat were so adorable and were absolutely made for each other. Their flirty banter was so much fun and their intense chemistry was electric. I loved how they were (mostly) open and honest with one another and easy their relationship was. Full of heat, unexpected danger, and so much heart, Seduced is absolutely delightful. I can’t wait for the last book in this series.
Loving the third book in the Virgin Diaries series by Lili Valente. Seduced was such a sweet, flirty, sexy, and charming book. Cam’s story was so intriguing, this was my first book where the hero was a virgin. Cam’s the whole package, he’s dreamy, hot, kind, loyal, knows how to cook but he still has his pesky v card and not by choice. Once he meets Natalie at a cooking class sparks fly. Their attraction is undeniable and instant. Turns out she is his new boss and owner of the restaurant he works at. They have such great chemistry, but Natalie is reluctant to blurt the lines at work with her new head chef. She also has her reservation because she is 10 years older and a single mom. This story will captivate you from start to finish. You will fall in love with every character and especially Crissy, Natalie’s adorable daughter. This story will make you laugh, swoon and feel a bit anxious with the undertone of suspense. As always, Jason Clarke and Lili Valente do an amazing job bringing Cam and Natalie to life. Jason Clarke’s child voice was so cute, definitely sounded like Crissy. I can’t wait to find out what happens next with Jess, the last virgin of the group.
Seriously, this trope is so overdone, but I was really intrigued by Cameron and couldn’t resist his story. He dated a girl for five years, and he may not have done *it*, but he knows … things. And then he snags an older woman? Yes, please, with all the sugar on top! This boy must be sprinkled with unicorn dust!
They say nice guys finish last, and Cam makes sure that's true, at least when it comes to his woman. But this nice guy wins the girl and her four-year-old daughter, gets the great job with an awesome boss, has the admiration and respect if his colleagues and friends, and saves the ones he loves from danger. I'd say that's gold metal performance stuff right there.
This story was so amazing, it practically reads itself. I’m pretty vested in these four childhood friends finding love, but Cam's story is extra special with a side of suspense to make it even more exciting. He’s the perfect guy in every way, especially when his latent alpha shows up, and watching him and Natalie both fall hard and fast made my romantic heart blissfully happy. Whether or not you’re a V card trope lover, you won’t want to miss this delightful, phenomenal romance full of humor, heat and heart!
Having read Scored and Screwed i couldn't wait for more! As soon as i found out about this book i added it to my TBR list right that second. I picked it up and got right back into the V Card Diaries world! I so enjoyed this story!
I was so glad that Cameron was getting his very own book!
Cameron and Natalie's journey captured my attention right from the start! From their unforgettable first meeting, i couldn't wait to see how everything would play out for these two!
I really liked getting to see how these two would tackle working together as well as their feelings. Cameron got into my heart and made me blush / fall! Natalie was such an awesome character and i adored her bond with her daughter! The chemistry between Cameron and Natalie was so great! I felt many things with these two all throughout!
I was so glad to be back in the V Card Diaries world! I enjoyed what the other characters brought to the story!
With Seduced, Ms.Valente has created a great read that you won't want to turn away from! Her books are always so entertaining! I can't wait for Jess's book! 💜
*I volunteered to read and review a copy of this book from the author*
Seduced is the third book in the V Card Diaries series by Lili Valente. I am loving this series so much! Lili is giving us such fun characters with so much heart and they are making me swoon and laugh out loud. Oh Cameron, I knew I was going to freaking love you! You might be young, but you have your life together. You know what you want to do with your life, you know how to treat a woman and you know how to be a great friend. And you are sexy and fun and smart. Natalie is a business owner, chef and mother. She wasn’t expecting to meet a young, charming man who she connected with. And then when he turns out to work for her, she can’t go there. But really, she can and she does! I love that she is older and he’s the virgin. And just because he is, doesn’t mean he doesn’t know how to please her. I loved watching their love grow and how mature they are. I loved the way Cam is with Crissy, her daughter (swoon). I just loved everything about it. It made me laugh, cry, get hot and bothered and just smile. Everything I want from a romance!
Seduced is the 3rd book in Lili Valente's V Card Diaries series. What an awesome series it is. Cameron is the sweet, kind, sexy, and talented sous chef. Oh and he is a virgin. Yes, you read it right, a 24-year-old virgin. Natalie is a 34-year-old chef new to New York and a mother. She has taken a leap of faith and is now also the new owner of the restaurant that Cameron works at. What a surprise for Cameron and Natalie when she walks into the restaurant to introduce herself to her staff but to lock eyes with the "cutest boy in the world" she met just hours before. Oh Boy! Can you say COMPLICATED! There is no denying the chemistry from the start that Cameron and Natalie share. As much as Natalie tried to stop that connection, in the end, she just couldn't. Cameron is just too charming. Although they each have their secrets, in the end, their struggle is what makes them so strong. This book was filled with steamy scenes, dirty talk, flirty banter, suspense, and humor. A little bit of this and a little bit of that made it JUST RIGHT! Perfection Lili Valente, perfection.
Who would have thought that Cameron would still have his V-card at the ripe age of 24? He is gorgeous and built like a sex God. He is also a chef at a restaurant in New York that was just purchased by a female chef who is known as being a hard ass.
So the night before the new owner is to arrive, Cameron goes out for a drink and meets a cute little firecracker of a lady and all he can do is stare. Her name is Natalie and they just hit it off from the moment they met.
The next day Cameron heads to work and is shocked to find that the new owner is none other than Natalie. She also states that there will be no dating between crew members. Now Cameron has to make her see that they belong together, even when he finds out she's a mom of a precocious little girl.
Good heavens do things get hot and heavy fast! Little Crissy stole my heart! The roommates are all over this story too and their friendship is very important here.
This is a must read story!! Check it out today! Enjoy
I’ve enjoyed this 3rd installment in the series and while Seduced is a part of series, it can be read as a standalone. Cameron has been looking for the “one” ever since he’s been betrayed by his fiancée. He is up and coming chef, and when he takes a culinary class on how to prepare worms, he meets Natalie and they have an instant connection. Little does he know that, when they plan a date for later in the week, she is the new owner of the restaurant he works at. Natalie, a single Mom, has escaped a troubled past and her demons might just catch up with her in her new surroundings. I loved this age gap story - it was refreshing for the hero to be the younger one in the relationship. The witty banter, the sweet and sassy Daughter of the heroine, Cameron’s roommates that we’ve met before as well as Natalie’s best friend, all provided a fantastic story line! Add the steam and swoon factor and we have a winner!!! I recommend Seduced to all romcom enthusiasts.
Cameron is a 24 year old virgin, a chef and lives with his female childhood friends. He's dated and even had a long-term relationship, but never gave up the card!
Cam thinks all that may change soon after the gorgeous woman he made out with last night. She was older than him, but something about her was so special! He found out the next day at work, just how special. She is his new boss!
Natalie is an executive chef who is meeting her new staff today. Of course, after her night last night with Mr. Hottie, he had to turn up as her sous chef!!
These two had so much chemistry, that their age difference didn't matter in the least! They were perfect together! He was not only smart, handsome and could cook, he was wonderful with her daughter Chrissy! I loved this story so much and couldn't put it down until I was done! A great story with wonderful characters! This is one of those stories that I will go back and read again!
Cam is a unicorn! He's kind, smart, sexy, and oh so loving. Natalie is fun, smart, beautiful, and a great mom to Crissy! They have an instant connection and a HEA that they deserve!
I love how these two meet! It's unique and hilarious!! I'm a sucker for instant connection/love and their story is one of my favorites. Cameron loves big even after he was hurt in the past and doesn't let that stop him from finding love. He's still a virgin and is afraid to tell Natalie because that conversation hadn't gone well in the past. She also has a secret but it's way bigger than Cam's. That secret comes back to mess with their happiness.
These two are absolutely perfect together! Cam is protective and sweet. Natalie is funny and Crissy is adorable. They make such a cute family!! I love their friend group and that we get to see them again in this book! Can't wait for Jess!!
4.5 Stars This is the third book in the series and it's Cameron's turn to lose his V card. Oh my gosh this book is everything. Cameron and Natalie are so cute together. They can give you cavities with all their sweetness. You know Cameron has staying power after his first meeting with Natalie. Then Cameron with little Chrissy will melt your heart. Cameron has ovary exploding, make you swoon moments through out the whole book. Cameron is going to make you fall in love with him. This a reverse age gap romance with an older woman younger man. It's a beautiful story with plenty of heart and feels. This book also had me at single mom romance. Learning Natalie's back story she so deserves a HEA. I couldn't have asked anyone better than Cameron to come into her life. I just gobbled up this book. Trust me Cameron and Natalie are going to have up until the wee hours reading their story. The epilogue is the cherry on top of this book sundae. A must read!!
Book three in the V-Card series was super adorable! Cameron held onto his virginity because his girlfriend wanted to wait until marriage, until he finds her in bed with two guys one night. Now he’s determined to lose his v-card, but he wants it to be with someone worth it. He never imagined he’d meet the woman of his dreams vomiting over chocolate crickets. Then she turns out to be his boss. But he’s determined to show Natalie he’s more than just a pretty face.
Reasons I Recommend:
1) Adorable. Low angst, protective boyfriend over single mom
2) Instant chemistry, a bit rushed, but guaranteed HEA and
I didn't expect this book to have layers. The previous two books have been easy-to-read, fun and fast books and while this book was the same, it had an extra layer added with some heavy subjects to it, which made it more emotional and more of a rollercoaster. Even though I did not expect it to happen at all, I was pleasantly surprised to read it. I think it was written beautifully and although in my opinion it does need a trigger warning for the heavy subject, the subject itself wasn't detailed so much the book was all about that. It still was a great read, a fast and easy read and I enjoyed myself while reading. I absolutely loved the characters and can't wait anymore for the last book in the series.
I'm actually not an age gap romance fan, but keep finding books that handle that theme so well but the plot quickly reels me in and I end up loving the story. This one DEFINITELY fits that category. You can't help but love Cam, the ultimate nice guy. He and Natalie have chemistry that is instantaneous and potent. You very quickly recognize that she is the perfect match for him. Her four-year-old daughter is adorable and the bond that develops between her and Cam is believable. The camaraderie between Cam and his roommates is warm and realistic, and makes for a solid, dependable support group. There is some drama involved due to a third party (I won't say who, to avoid a spoiler) but the HEA is ultimately achieved.
Cam and Natalie's story was adorable. I loved how they met, it was an amazing (non) meet-cute that was original and fun.
Their story felt so natural, they respected each others fears, there wasn't any major miscommunication, and they worked out all their issues like adults, which is always a pleasant suprise in a book.
Cam and Natalie have a natural chemistry between them that sets up their relationship so well. Their boss/employee storyline was well-written and super enjoyable with the things they got up to throughout the story!
I'm loving this series and don't want it to end with Jess's book!
Cam gets his story told and I loved it! I forget the age of this band of friends/roommates, because they are a much more mature and put together than I think many people imagine 24-ish year olds to be. And this meet-cute…definitely unique and one I’ll remember for a long time. Pairing Cam with an older woman might have been risky if Lili Valente hadn’t brought to life the fun, sweet and very charming Natalie. She was just too cute for words. And her spunky daughter Chrissy was a welcome addition to their story, rather than just spoken about and not often seen. This sexy, funny series, which was already one of my favorites, got even better when Cam met Nat.
Seduced is book 3 in Lily Valente’s fantastic V card diaries series. Cam and Natalie are such an amazing couple, and when you add in her little girl, Crissy, Ms. Valente has delivered an entertainingly sweet and sexy romance. Although Cam and Nat fall for each other quickly, the connection they share is evident with the turn of each page. Their amazing chemistry leaps from the pages chapter after chapter. Ms. Valente has also given us a bit of suspense as well which rounded out this perfect romance beautifully. I am really enjoying the stories of this group of friends. I look forward to the next installment which Ms. Valente has given us a little sneak peek of here as well.
Reverse age gap - totally my jam!! And Cameron - oh how scrumptious! And Natalie - loved her! And Crissy - loved her even more!! You go girl and stomp out all the vampires!!
This book was witty, fun banter, embarrassing situations, and some real world situations. Secrets are kept and revealed in not the best of ways, but it is obvious that these two are real and meant for each other.
Loved the restaurant and cooking themes and the ten-year age gap was on point!!
Absolutely great read and this has been an entertaining series and a great set-up for the last virgin!
I voluntarily requested and read an advance reader copy.
