Allen Rodol is unknowingly gathering a harem. He's already unwittingly gained the affections of Princess Lia Vestaria, Rose Valencia, and Student Council President Shii. I forgot the family name of the Student Council President, but that doesn't matter too much.

While Allen and Shii are on a date, Lia and Rose follow Allen to see what he's up to. He's being very suspicious, despite being as dense as a box of rocks when it comes to ladies. Lia is kidnapped by a member of the mysterious Black Organization, Zach the Immolator. Allen must harness the power of his Spirit Core to find Lia before it's too late.

Allen succeeds in doing so, but there are still a lot of secrets about Allen and the Time Hermit. The Chairwoman seems to know about it, but as of right now, it's all speculation on my part.

I have some assumptions about what the Black Organization people wanted from Lia, and it amounts to the Dragon King Fafnir. They probably want the power of those seven legendary beasts from the Mural they admired in the Art Museum.

I enjoyed the book. Thanks for reading my review, and see you next time.

What I enjoyed about the first book was seeing the protagonist's strange psychology that allowed him to endure the million-year button multiple times and the way his outlook on life interacted with the rest of the world. Without the button being present, this story has become less interesting.
