I’m going to be honest and say that I haven’t read anything from this author’s lineup of books but based on what I’ve read so far, she’s quickly becoming one of my musts read for smut books authors.
Salvatore aka Jonathan, they say he is crazy, public enemy number one he has killed others with a smile on his face……… But when it comes to her, he’s completely obsessed with her and he has been stalking her for as long as he can remember…….. even after all these years of not seeing her, He cannot get her out of his system. . …….. And Paxton seems to be the only one that can recognize the darkness within him.

When I got this arc I ate it uppp!!! I kid you not you know me and Stalkers. It's a fast novella and has that spicy!!
Jonathan/Sal has been stalking Paxton for about 2 years he's been in the shadows watching and waiting and doing what Stalkers do best hiding in her closet lol. As time goes by from getting a taste to stealing her undies. Now is the time he made a profile and going to let Pax catch him.
Paxton family are bounty hunters this is her first case and she's already messed up in wanting her charge. And when she messed up her first case she is bound and in the Mercy of Jon just like he planned it. He knows every dirty secert every type of kink/porn she watches. And she's his for one night.
We do have a Time-skip which idk if my math is wrong or the authors? But the ages are below. Paxton has been on the run and finally back home but has another case. She's being watched again and when she finds out who her case is, so many questions are asked and why Jon/Sal is here now. The sexual tension is high as they make there way back home so he can take care of the drama that caused them both pain.

I just loved this short story.
Salvatore aka Jonathan is a crazy and sweet psycho stalker.
He made me laugh a lot.
Paxton always feel him around.
It's a dark and funny story, very easy to be read.

The heroine: Paxton (a.k.a. Paxxie) - she has worked for her father and with her brothers as a bounty hunter in the bail bonds industry since she turned eighteen. Though on her first real job with them, something went wrong, and she was kidnapped by the man who had been stalking her for two years. She got pregnant and disappeared for thirteen years and stayed off his radar with the help of a boyfriend Derick who worked for the CIA and provided her with fake passports and paperwork. Now that her son is older, she didn’t want to be on the run anymore, so she is home in New Orleans.
The Heroes: Jonathon (a.k.a. Salvatore) - he is a hitman and a psychopath, without empathy. Since the first moment that Paxton accidentally bumped into him on the street, he has been obsessed with her and knew she was his. He would watch her sleep, touch her, lick her and he planned an elaborate game to catch her and have her. Though she ran and stayed hidden for thirteen years, now she is back, and he still wants her.
The Story: Paxton’s ex-boyfriend from the CIA blackmails into going after one of the best assassins in the world, known only as Padre. He wants her to kill the guy since the assassin killed his partner. She flies to Alaska and finds out that Padre, is Jonathon, the father of her son. Though it does take her way to long to figure that out, when all the signs were there.
The one thing I really hate in books is the unbelievable, and this one had some of that. Jonathon was an assassin and a proficient one, handsome and deadly, but we are supposed to believe that he was a virgin who saved himself for this girl he became obsessed with, and he waited and watched her for two years before he made himself known to her? I dislike it when the Hero is a virgin either way, but that was just a bit too much to be believed when he was so worldly in other ways.
Though I do love books where the Hero is a psychopath or sociopath, who has no emotions, but falls in love with one particular woman. He was definitely crazy in this one, though both the Hero and heroine liked things a bit deviant in bed, so though the trigger warnings said non-con or dub-con, the heroine really did like what he did to her, and she had been fantasizing about him before they ever got together.

Well this was just ridiculous! Completely OTT entertaining insta-love, stalking, hitman, both virgins, no-other-lovers-but-you, second chance romance. It wasn't perfect (why did she constantly fight him?), but it was good for what it was, brain candy. I needed more pages.

This was FILTHY and I was here for it. Paxton catches the attention of a dangerous man and he sets a plan in motion to completely consume her and own her. Sal (aka Jonathan) is ruthless and definitely a sociopath. Sal stalks and obsesses over her and after one night together, it takes 14 years for everything to come full circle and the two of them to come face to face again.
Lucky for Sal, Paxton is into the dirty and depraved things he loves and the two of them find that some people are just meant to be. Their dark souls complete each other.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It was HOT HOT HOT. Gah, it was hot. I took a star off because I am not a fan of flashbacks and time jumps. Overall, if you're into dark and dirty romances with a morally grey and unapologetic alpha male and a feisty and strong willed female, then I definitely recommend this.

Thirst was hot and steamy and I absolutely loved it!
Paxton is a young woman when this books starts and she has a stalker that she isn’t aware of. Jonathan watches her obsessively and creates a story that is consuming and intense.
I can’t say more because I don’t want spoilers but this story was captivating and kept me up till the wee hours of the morning. I could not put it down!

Can a psychopath stalker be cute?? 😍😍
Thirst is a short dark(ish) and steamy romance. I won't tell you anything about the story per se because that’s not my style.
But let's say this...
L.A Wayward with her story made it more than certain there's something wrong with me, because all I could think reading about this psycopath stalker was: "oh my gosh, he is so cute 😍"
Cute in a creepy/dangerous/hot/crazy way,
but still cute 😂😍🥵
No matter his stalker tendencies and lethal skills, Jonathan is protective and loyal, and that's something i really loved about him!
And can we talk a minute about Paxton??
A freaking badass 🤩
Together they just work, and I loved their chemestry 💥💥💥
They made me sweat a looooot 🔥🥵
I enjoyed side characters too, even if they didn't have a lot of space, especially Iggy and Vasily 😂😍

I'm honestly disappointed by what I read. The dark themes were nice but the execution was a little bit clumsy. The plot in general felt all over the place with the time jumps, pacing, flashbacks, inconsistencies and yes, the overload of smut. The story was literally drowned in smut and I had to skim through it near the end because I found it all repetitive and truly endless.
From what I understood at the start, Paxton is a 18 years old girl who was trained by her parents to become a bounty hunter, like every member of her family. Jonathan aka Salvatore is a mercenary and is obsessed by Paxton after running into her one time. Since that first encounter, he stalks her and does things to her when she's sleeping (cause she is a heavy sleeper, she doesn't wake up). One day, Paxton is on her first hunting mission who happens to be Jonathan, but she is the one who gets caught and he does all the things he's been wanting to do to her before he has to leave on a mission somewhere I forgot. Time jump thirteen years later, Paxton has a twelve year old son who is the result of that single night with Jonathan. Everything is good until she gets a mission to find and kill a dangerous guy named Salvatore... [Honestly, there is more back and forth with the flashbacks and time jumps but I think it was the simplest way for me to summarize it.]
I couldn't tell exactly what Paxton wanted. She seemed to want the father of her son to be around but also didn't. She didn't want to be attracted to Salvatore and to like what he did to her but she could never resist him. I don't even have much to say about her, she just seemed angry and indecisive the whole time.
As for Salvatore, I liked his dark side; his stalking, his obession but only at the start when it was weird and creepy...The more I read, I just started to find him a bit boring because we didn't get to know much about him. Every interaction with him was literally just smut and dirty talking.
With the low character development and nearly non existent bonding, I just didn't care about Paxton and Salvatore's relationship. When they finally reunited, it was weird because they acted like they'd known each other for a while, which technically, they did meet thirteen years ago, but only ONCE, which was just lust and dark fantasies. Nothing else. Thirteen years later, their interactions strangely reminded me of one of those second chance romance but without the actual romance. Second chance lust or something.

I believe that consent was not established before that first scene (where he does things to her while she's asleep) and because of that I consider it as rape which I am definitely not okay with and does not sit right with me.

At long last, I finally found the time to write this review.
I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone, so I’ll keep this short and sweet.
My little, dark heart loves a good stalker romance/erotica book and this was no exception. It’s dark, it’s gritty, it’s spicy/steamy, it’s twisted in the best possible way. I’d say it’s even heartwarming. Yes, Jonathan, the MMC, is a psychotic, pychopathic, murderous, filthy-mouthed stalker, but the relationship between him and Paxton warmed my heart.
And Paxton. God, I loved her. She’s strong, she’s fierce, she has a backbone, she doesn’t take shit from anyone, she protects those she loves. I fell in love with her just as much as my man Jonathan.
Lovers of dark romance, especially lovers of stalker romance, need to read this. L.A. Wayward’s writing always captivates me and sucks me into whatever story she has written. She and her books deserve all the love and recognition in the world.

This is book three, and all three have been vastly different! Especially this one! And while that trigger warning may be necessary for most, I definitely saw it as a checklist of reasons to dive right in! And dive in I did! This is a buffet of dark and dirty. Jonathan is a walking red flag. We meet him hiding in a closet. In Paxton’s closet. There’s some jumping back and forth in time as we learn more about Jonathan and Paxton. Which I loved! I had gleeful giggles as this unraveled, and I don’t know what that says about me. Jonathan is possessive and protective. And then we get the surprise of a lifetime: he’s a secret softy! Just don’t tell anyone! He never hesitates to take care of her; stops at nothing to show her that. All the drama hit at once. I was in such a smutty fog when it kicked in, I couldn’t keep up!

I was given this book as an advanced copy to give a honest review. This book fed my soul because I crave stalker books. She literally hit this one out of the park and it satisfied my taste.
We have Elise who is simply a badass with a backbone. Talk about a fantasy.. Hey we all have them. This girl set out to prove she wasnt weak and boy did she. She works in a mans world but was far from backing down.
Jonathan was a psycho but oh did I crave him. He was an assassin who took what he wanted and didnt back down. He set his sights on her and never went elsewhere. This man hid under her bed!
I wont say much more other than I need more of this.

Depois de ler “Ranger Danger” fiquei com imensa curiosidade em ler mais livros desta autora. E “Thirst” definitivamente superou as expetativas.
Antes de mais, quero avisar que este livro é um “dark romance”, deve ser lido por pessoas maiores de 18 anos e que contém gatilhos.
Para quem gosta de livros com plot, este não é o ideal. Embora tenha mais do que em “Ranger Danger”, continua a ser um livro muito spicy e com pouca história.
Adorei a personalidade da Paxton e a ligação dela com o filho mas também com os irmãos e os pais. Confesso que ao início estava receosa sobre como as coisas se iriam desenrolar com o Jonathan, mas logo adorei a química entre os dois.
Adorei o Salvatore, sem dúvida uma ótima personagem masculina. O típico bad boy, com um passado negro e cicatrizes por sarar.
O livro tem os seguintes tropes: age gap (diferença de idades), stalker, e bounty hunter/ assassin.

This book was such a good time. This book was a ride to read but one I wouldn’t have changed for anyone, I just enjoyed it so much. This book was just so thrilling and fun to read and I really enjoyed the reading experience.
I absolutely loved how this book put us in Jonathan’s head while he was stalking Paxton and how we could see how and when he stalked her, that was just so much fun to read about for me.
I really loved the dynamic between them. I loved how Jonathan was obsessed with Paxton and ready to do anything to get with her. And Paxton was rightfully creeped out by it, but also kind of into it and I really loved that.
I loved how obsessive and possesive this book was, that just really worked for me.

If you like stalkers, then this one may be for you! Thirst is a fun quick read. Personally, I would push it more toward Erotica than Romance, but there are definitely hints of both.
Jonathan/Salvatore is 🔥🔥🔥, and the steam in this book is through the roof. Although there is more spice than story, I very much enjoyed the story that was there, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quick spicy read.

I'm convinced, this is a dark romance but don't get excited this is one of the most poorly written ever.
The problem is not the dark elements that's may be a relief however the plot is so wacky I couldn't enjoy.

I enjoyed L.A’s style of writing for this book. The way this storytime jumps from past to present it helps keep the mystery of how everything will end alive. It paints a great picture of how these two interact with one another past and present. Paxton is unaware that she has a stalker until he makes himself known. He literally set up a trap to catch her so he could have his way with her and he could finally tell her that she is his and only his. She wants nothing to do with him, but even she can't ignore the chemistry between them. These two are meant for each other; they help each other become the best versions of themselves. Whenever they’re together it is full of spice. Their relationship is not unconventional, but man does this stalker know how to show his woman how much she means to him. I loved getting to go on this emotional journey with these characters witnessing their growth. There is so much more I could say but I don’t want to spoil any of the mysteries this story holds. Definitely worth the read. I can’t get enough of L.A’s books and I will continue to read them because I’m always left wanting more or I am totally obsessed with all the surprising twists and turns of her writing.

I went in completely blind with this one and it was my first read of L.A. I really enjoyed it, I think I must be on a massive stalker binge at the moment and it lived soooo much up to the hype I’d built in my head.
Johnathon has my heart in a fucking vice, from the very first scene. He’s dangerous yet so intriguing. The commitment to Paxton throughout makes me want to cry, he really does love her. The way Paxton’s strength shines through shows her growth from the beginning. She’s someone I could aspire to be, she fights for what she loves.
Guyssss the shipping container scene is SMOKIN’ I can’t say anymore but god I loved that scene, and the fact there are flashbacks back to that scene just really made my day. The spice is top tier in this book. 🥵

Sal is over the top in every way - intense, obsessive, possessive, goal oriented and anything to do with Paxton. As much as I liked that about him, it is not for everyone.
The Hero is so messed up and I was totally here for it. This was a very satisfying crazy OTT stalker read. It was so hot.
Holy smokes now this was one heck of a stalker romance. Phew it was hot, steamy and absolutely intense. Not to mention darkly swoon-worthy. Sal aka Jonathan gets bumped into one night and that’s all it takes to become addictively obsessed with Paxton and begins stalking her and playing with her.
