We begin Phase of Mate right where POH left off and immediately start the rollercoaster headed to HEA.

This installment is jam-packed with action, suspense, and all the intense emotions, including heartbreak. There’s also redemption and finally smex. And not just any smex. I’m talking about the sweet, yet panty-melting kind that only happens after an epic build-up like we’ve experienced in the Phase Mountain Pack series.

I have loved this trilogy so much more than I ever expected. That’s a result of the perfect balance of world building and well-paced character growth. Halle and Theo have come so far, both personally and as mates. Halle has leaned into her role as alpha and has accepted the power and responsibility that comes with it. Seeing her transition from Mona’s sister to a self-assured, strong leader was gratifying. Likewise, Theo has matured from the angry shifter to an alpha the pack is proud to follow. The twists and turns they’ve had to endure strengthened their bond and ensured a love that will last through all their lifetimes.

The finale is here- and holy moly, Cora pulls out all the stops in this one. It’s action packed, it’s suspenseful, it’s epically romantic and jaw droppingly creative. Cora delivers a heartbreaking, heart-filling, and heart-pounding finale in Phase of Mate. The journey is most certainly not an easy one- but it beautifully goes full circle. Every piece, every moment, every word has led up to this dynamic and emotional conclusion. And like very epic journey, sacrifices will be made. But what a powerful and rewarding journey it is.

Oh, AND WE FINALLY GET TO GO TO BANGTOWN! Thank you goddess for this long awaited smut.

What I’ve loved most about this series is how character driven it is. The Phase Mountain trilogy is really more an allegorical everyman’s tale of identity and self-actualization…or in this case, everyoneWOman’s tale. Because Cora has so effortlessly built this world around its central character, our heroine Halle. It’s more existential than anything- though the romance, suspense, and magic do not disappoint. It’s a tale of a young girl figuring out how to be a woman in a complicated and ever changing world, a girl letting go of her own insecurities and prejudices to see things around her more clearly. A girl shucking the burdensome mantle of expectation and finding the courage to path her own pathway. A girl deciding to no longer be the secondary character in our own life, a girl being vulnerable enough to make mistakes and take risks, a girl finding out that she can be the hero in our own story. In Halle we see so much of ourselves, the insecurity, the growing pains, the fear, the doubts, the disorientation of figuring out where we fit in the world around us. In Halle we see that, even if we don’t yet know it, we are ALL extraordinary. We all have power and agency. Sure, it might not be the power of a supernatural goddess of the prowess of an alpha wolf, but that’s not Halle’s TRUE power. Halle’s true power is in her heart- her kindness, her courage, her imperfection, but most of all her LOVE. Her power is in finding her own pathway- her FATE- and in finding and embracing her truest self. The freedom of embracing yourself, and the courage to find yourself at all- that’s Halle’s power. A power we all share.

The action, the romance, the subversive commentary on society, the THEO are all perfection. This is the height of Cora’s creative artistry- the world building, the emotional moments, each plot element seamlessly weaving into a finale I did not expect, but somehow my heart needed. This definitely had me crying in places- prepare your hearts because no battle comes without loss- but despite the hardships, Cora leaves us with a lot of hope and love. What a beautiful and fulfilling finale- my heart is so full.

In this epic conclusion, Halle has faced some intense and trying times and this one will be her hardest journey yet. When her world came crashing down at the hands of President Astor, Halle finds herself alone trying to find her bearings and then she arrives at Alpha Camp on the run from those who want all shifters gone. Halle has had so many transformations, and this will be her biggest one, but can she finally accept her fate figure out her path so that she can save those she loves, or will she be doomed fail? This journey has been one that kept me on the edge wanting to Halle grow and become her epic self and finally see her and Theo become more. I loved the journey and some of the turns were heartbreaking, but the hope of more keeps a smile on your face.

Original review

This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Coralee June!

Phase of Mate is the third and final book in the Phase Mountain Pack series and continues the story of Halle and Theo.

Coralee June is such a talented author and when I finally got my hands of Phase of Mate I was so excited! After finishing Phate of Hate I was not happy lol, it ended with such a big cliffhanger and I had to anxiously wait for Phase of Mate. I’m so glad that Coralee June moved up the release date so I could read it sooner than planned. Phase of Hate was such an amazing book, and I loved Halle and Theo’s story!

Halle has been through so much in the Phase Mountain Pack series, and she really deserves a happy ending. I think she’s such a strong character and I loved that the books in this series aren’t only about the romance, but also about her personal growth journey, and that she is important. But don’t get me wrong, I also really enjoyed reading Halle and Theo’s moments together. I love them both!

Phase of Mate was another amazing book written by Coralee June. She can write every genre and she does it so flawlessly. I really loved getting to know Halle and Theo throughout the Phase Mountain Pack series, and I’m so happy that they finally got their happy ending. I loved loved loved the epilogue. If you’re looking for a good Fantasy Romance series, then I highly recommend Phase Mountain Pack series!

I was kind of happy that this book was so short because I’m not sure if I would have finished it otherwise. The writing didn’t improve with the repetitiveness and I found myself disconnected to the characters in a way I didn’t feel with the first two books. The ending seemed too easy…Halle leveled up again to become a goddess and boom she has all the powers to defeat the enemy now. Plus while we have an epilogue from five years in the future we don’t find out anything about how the world operates now with the prodigy bonds being broken. Overall I don’t regret the time I spent on the series, but it’s probably one I’ll forget quickly.

This book got me out of my book slump; it was a fun but also an emotional read. Halle was put to the test many time throughout the book but with all the love and support she has she is able to overcome. This was a fantastic conclusion to a wonderful series. Most of the characters ended up in a good place, one they are at peace with. I really enjoyed how different this series is from other fated mate stories, it just catches your attention from the first book. It is well written and has a great story line.

What an outstanding conclusion to the Phase Mountain Pack trilogy!

Buckle up because Phase of Mate starts right where Phase of Hate left us and let me just say CoraLee June takes us readers on one heck of a ride!

Halle and Theo’s final installment is everything I had hoped for. There was never a dull moment while reading! It's suspenseful, emotional, sexy and beautiful all packaged into one book!

And that epilogue left me with the biggest, cheesiest grin on my face and maybe a tear or two in my eyes! (I'm a sucker for happy endings!)

I have thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy and HIGHLY recommend it!

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

I fell in love with this trilogy during book one so I was more then eager to get my hands on this final installment. It was so worth the wait!!! We pick right back up where book two left off and the action/twists just never stop from there leading all the way to an epic finale that really does this story justice. A total must read trilogy for fans of fantasy/paranormal romance. I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.

This was absolutely the perfect ending to a great series! Coralee takes us on an emotional journey in this book and I was here for it in every way. Halle has been through so much and we really see what happens in this book coming but the unexpected ending was perfectly done and makes the struggles to get there so much more bitterly sweet. Another fantastic read by this author that you will not want to miss. I can’t wait to see what comes next.

I’m free of this series finally lmao.
The decisions the author made in “leveling up” Halle even more were just… unnecessary. The battle was over so quickly, which I knew would be the case when I got through 60% of it and it hadn’t happened yet, esp bc this book is short (but also thank everything for that bc I would’ve dnf-ed for sure if it had been any longer). The writing got so repetitive with how Halle described her damn empathy powers and how she’s an alpha and Theo’s an alpha and on and on and on. There’s no build-up to this battle, and the villain is so one dimensionally evil and power hungry that it hurts. I hated the villain but also found myself so annoyed at how stupidly evil the villain was (but also not smart). Everything was not fleshed out adequately, and it all felt so rushed, but at the same time I felt no emotional connection to Halle or any of the main characters so I also didn’t care… idk. Just not great overall, and I’m glad to be done.

FINALLY!!! If you’ve been reading this series than you know exactly what I’m talking about. All I have to say is it was 100% worth the wait! So freaking delicious!

I honestly don’t want to leave this world! Seriously I just want to live in it for a little while longer or you know forever?! I’m going to miss all of these characters & their incredible stories! This series is definitely one i’ll be rereading over & over again.

You won’t believe everything that happens in this final book, it is one seriously amazing & wild ride! That ending couldn’t have been more perfect! A fantastic conclusion to this trilogy!

Perciò, all’inizio ci sorbiamo . Viene ovvio aspettarsi che nella battaglia successiva sarà più sicura di sé o, almeno, riuscirà a contrastare il nemico così come l’è stato insegnato.
No.

Peccato. Davvero un peccato.

Phase of Mate is the thrilling conclusion to Halle and Theo’s story. It hits the ground running and the pace doesn’t let up. I really enjoyed reading how Halle and Theo dealt with all the changes in their lives. The characters’ reactions feel very real, which is something you can always count on Coralee June to do. After all of the turmoil Halle has had to go through, she is able to find acceptance and forgiveness. And not just for herself but for those around her as well. It was especially satisfying to see Halle and Theo become true partners. It made the slow burn so worth the wait!! And we finally get that steam we’ve all been dying for!
As to the conclusion of the curse and (EVIL) President Astor, I’m was a bit torn. On the one hand, you definitely get a big face off like I wanted (and needed!) And I love how Coralee doesn’t hold back! I think I was actually a little taken off guard but in a really good edge-of-your-seat way. On the other hand, I think I was expecting something more drawn out. It made me wonder if everything was wrapped up too quickly. However, the more I think about it, the more I realize those feelings are based on my own expectations. Because all in all, I loved the ending of the book. I loved that after everything went down, the story didn’t just end. We get to see how Halle and Theo are helping to build a whole new world. It’s refreshing to have a story end with a happily ever after that feels like it will grow on and on.
The lesson here? Get rid of your expectations and trust in Coralee June! She is going to take you on a wild ride and you won’t regret it!

Phase of Mate is the EPIC conclusion to CoraLee June’s Phase Mountain Pack Trilogy. This book is told in dual POV and cannot be read on its own.
Man.. CoraLee doesn’t play around.. this book comes out swinging and it just builds from there. I do have to say… FREAKING FINALLY!!! IYKYK and let me tell you Worth. The. Wait!! So hot, so passionate. I find it fitting that this trilogy has been slowly building and gaining steam just like the storm released in this book. Ugh! All the feels on this one! Gut wrenching, heartbreaking and just so good. Everything that has happened in this series has been building blocks to Halle’s greatness. How crazy to think that in book one she talked about always being in the shadows. CoraLee does not pull any punches with this book. Everything happens for a reason, but be prepared to ugly cry! I fell in love with so many characters and to see how their stories all come together and to see how everyone fits in to the plot.. just pure talent. I was not expecting some of the loss in this book and it made me emotional. The world building is amazing in this series - the attention to detail, how the politics works, everything is just so well written. This series is like nothing I’ve read before, and while I was happy to get some answers, I wasn’t ready for it to end. I hope we can revisit this world at some point. Halle and Theo have earned all the HEA’s and I would love to see some other character’s stories as well. Highly impressed with this book and the series as a whole. If you are looking for a PNR book with chemistry, amazing characters, fantastic plot and just all around awesomeness this is the trilogy for you! So good!

Phase of Mate is the final book in the gripping, shifter series from Coralee June. It held my attention from cover to cover with several new surprises, action, and all the emotional feels.

Halle has had quite the journey from the very beginning of this trilogy until the very end. She began a girl in the shadows, living under her sister's perfect shadow, but when her sister is murdered right before her eyes Halle's entire life changes, making her a prodigy, then a shifter, an alpha, a mate, and more. A life she never saw when she was living in the shadows, but one that with Theo by her side she would never give up.

In this final book, Halle steps into the all of the roles she has been amassing along the way and I know I couldn't be prouder of the woman she blossoms into. I know it seems like a strange sentence to say, but I love a strong woman character, especially one that has huge character growth and finds her true worth.

Phase of Mate culminates everything Halle has been through and it is also full trials and tribulations testing not only Halle, but also everyone close in her life. Theo is the perfect mate for her and I couldn't adore him more. Really everyone that is in Halle's life is slotted perfectly and I really love how the entire storyline comes together by the end. Where I didn't believe there could be anymore twists to this plot, Coralee had a few more to bestow and it added just the right spice to finish up this trilogy to perfection.

I was waiting so eagerly for the conclusion of Halle and Theo's shifter romance and oh wow, Coralee June brought big weapons from her writer arsenal. I simply couldn't put down Phase of Mate. The nail biting suspense and action packed twists were killing me. Halle and Theo's Mate bond is going to be tested hard here. And I love this epic couple with their raw feels and intense chemistry.

Halle has been pushed to a corner by the tyrant president Astor. She is the alpha queen but right now she feels powerless. Her loved ones and her Mate have been captured by the president for evil ideas after she severed the prodigy bonds all over the world. The president wants to control all shifters for her gain. Halle has to become stronger as the odds are stacked against her.

I love how this whole trilogy is centred on Halle. She is the power. She is the catalyst trying to change the world. She is the force to beat the evil and corrupt. She has Unlimited power yet she is humble and kind. Her magic isn't her biggest strength...it is her kind, compassionate, fair, loving and protective heart. She wants to save everyone. She is such a sweet soul but any kinds of unfair act or bad people fills her with rage and anger. She has her share of confusion and doubts and guilt and shame. She has been thrown into the rollercoaster and she was having difficulty to cope. And that's where Theo came in. This alpha man is the perfect example how a partner can be alpha yet perfectly supportive and understanding. He has been tortured and abused in captivity and almost broken down but oh my heart..when his soul came back at Halle's call. This story is where Halle fully accepted their mate bond and they connected at a much deeper level. This bond is magical and their hearts beat in sync. It was fantastical and swoony and heartaching. They had to fight a battle and lost a lot. But their connection brought hope and faith and finally a new beginning! The plot was full of twists and turns with darkness and lightness alternating and I was so lost in the page! What a epic journey from Coralee June.

Wow just wow , where do I even find the right words to express how absolutely phenomenal this series truly is . Well I’m not so sure there are any ( and I mean that in the best way possible) Cora Lees Phase Mountain Pack series is such a emotional rollercoaster- there were so many moments I was literally on the edge of my seat feeling like my heart was beating out of my chest . It grabs onto all your emotions and pulls at your heartstrings in ways you will absolutely not be able expecting) so I am typically not someone who reads supernatural rommces at all. But Cora Lee’s series well that is the most exception every single time ( pretty much any book written by her I will absolutely read . Dark , raw , gritty , steamy , romantic, tragic , suspenseful, intriguing, slow. Burn , twists and turns, wonderfully written characters that are so unique , so captivating and extremely multi layered , a storyline that will hook you so fast from start to finish , that will keep you up reading well into the early morning hours and will definitely leave you craving so much more . So settle in and grab on tight as Theo and Halles emotional rollercoaster of a love story is a ride like you’ve never experienced before . Unforgettable, unputdownable and quite simply a masterpiece

Phase Of Mate is the final piece of the trilogy and picks up where we left off in Phase of Hate which was a doozy of a cliffhanger! But OMG did this book give me everything I wanted.

Firstly let me start by saying CoraLee converted me! I had never read PNR until Phase Of Fate and what a book to start on! This trilogy has been an epic journey.

We have plenty of angst and twists that you won’t see coming and it’s so action packed it really did have me on the edge of my seat begging for more.

The mate bond between Halle and Theo was everything Halle didn’t realise she needed and yes, it was tested, but my god were these two made for each other - their chemistry is off-the-charts! But it’s also about how they compliment each other.

This book wasn’t just focused on the two major characters and I loved that the supporting characters were just as important as the leads.

Sometimes with a trilogy you can feel like the books have been dragged out, this was definitely NOT the case with these books, they were suspenseful right until the very end.

CoraLee I love you for bringing this into my life - you absolutely smashed it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“I don’t want to lead anyone. I don’t want to control anyone. I want to give the world a chance to find their own destiny.”

This is a review for both Phase of Hate (Phase Mountain Pack #2) and Phase of Mate (Phase Mountain Pack #3).

I honestly put this series down after book 1; I had come to expect a level of spice from Coralee June’s books and there was nothing in book one and barely one single scene in book 2. Needless to say, it took me a bit to get back into them.

But, when I focused solely on Haley’s story, I was interested. Phase of Hate was my favorite of the trilogy; you see Halle make a huge evolution in her character and the action of that book kept me hooked. Phase of Mate seemed slightly too fast for me. It’s relatively short (230 pages) and Halle gains so many new abilities as her character evolves for the third time. I wish there was more time spent on Halle learning her powers instead of her always winging it. But, the ending was *chef’s kiss* 👌🏻

This trilogy was definitely more of an epic adventure than I originally anticipated but I enjoyed it all the same.

This is the conclusion to the Phase Mountain Pack series and man did Cora absolutely blow my mind with this. This whole series has been a fresh take on the shifter trope and I love it. Every little detail is so intricate to the story that you don’t even realize it. Halle has been through so much in her short life and it isn’t over yet. We pick up right where the last one left off and it doesn’t stop. Even writing a PNR story Cora is able to interject what so many people feel and face on a day-to-day basis. While we aren’t fighting ourselves from turning into animals, the battle to accept one's true self is what it really is all about. The emotions that the characters feel are some that we can all relate to. That is one of the reasons that I absolutely get sucked into Cora’s stories. The twist and turns that these characters face will have you on an emotional roller coaster that you don’t ever want to stop. This entire series has been so well-written and consuming that I’m sad to see it over.

Absolutely fabulous. I have loved this trilogy from the first sentence, and this book is perfection. I love the paranormal take that the author puts forth, and her idea of how things are in this world she created. The characters continued to evolve and develop and you got to see new aspects of them all the way to the end. The magic is that this is such a character driven book, from the moment the series starts, it carries all the way through to this book.
This book sees the end, and boy is it grand. We see the end of the story, with no open questions, the author does an amazing job or wrapping up the series and making sure everything is tied up. There was tears, not going to lie, I was also enraged and wanted to throw my kindle at the wall, but you know if you don't feel strong emotions is the author even doing their job? This story is told in dual POV, and it is 100% worth a binge read.

Phase of Mate is book three by CoraLee June in the Phase Mountain Pack trilogy. It was everything I needed and more. I’m not usually a supernatural reader but I absolutely love every book I’ve read by CoraLee so I just had to have it!
It’s has everything from passionate love to heartbreaking sadness. From rebirth to death. From laughter to tears. The chemistry that spark btwn these two wolves is off the charts in either form they choose to be in during their moments of passion. They just live for one another and their pack. Human and shifter.
The way Haley’s mom was willing to sacrifice herself for Haley the thrive. Such an amazing mother. It was all so amazing. Words just can’t describe how it made me feel to read this epic ending to this wonderful trilogy. If you haven’t yet read books one and two… then don’t wait. It’s that good!!!!
I received a free advanced copy to read and review honestly.

interesting.

Very torn. 40% of the book i lost interest because the story line sounded familiar to Zodiac Aligned. (I read that one first). Hallie just annoyed me from book 2-3. Her unwillingness to get over herself and accept what she needed to do just irked me. For example, she was TOLD the signs of when she needed to shift. She experienced them all, and then tried to say it was allergy like symptoms??! To shifters who knew what to do their whole lives … yeah that wasn’t cute, entertaining, or smart. Theo…. I liked him but i felt he needed to be more dominate. The strongest alpha in history, while i admired his exercise in control, he too dropped the ball several occasions. The storyline was very interesting. I wish there was a bit more detail in the Edna’s mistakes, the Goddess’ choices with Hallie, maybe a snippet of past lives …. But it was an overall good series.

4.5 stars, and a great conclusion to a very interesting and intriguing story. So as not to spoil, I won’t be going into much detail. However, it can be said, that Halle and Theo have been through a lot so far in this series, and their trials are not easily overcome in this final book. There are so many elements to this story that are unique, not the least of which is the dynamic between prodigies and their shifter guardians, and the very volatile and starkly contrasting opinions on those dynamics. Loyalties are tested, hearts are broken, and alliances are forged as Halle tries to come to terms with her changing realities. She continues to battle through her challenges, despite her feelings of desperation and loss, and she has so much more to shoulder throughout the rest of this series. Also, the relationship between Halle and Theo solidifies and strengthens really well, and their resulting dynamic is pretty great. The conclusion is quite satisfying, and actually adds an unexpected, and very sweet surprise that I really loved. Overall, I enjoyed this entire trilogy, and I was really pleased with how the story played out through to the end.

That was one hell of an epic conclusion to this amazing story. It was packed with action, suspense, drama, twists and turns, and adrenaline inducing moments that had me riveted to my seat, biting my nails with anticipation and clutching my chest over the continual heart pounding moments throughout.

Halle is faced with some hard decision that may break her, but she is fierce and strong and will fight to save those she loves. This might be her hardest journey yet, but with Theo by her side hopefully they can get their happy ever after in the end.

Lots of raw emotions that had my heart aching, my jaw dropping and the tears flowing. It was dark, gritty, romantic and passion filled, and I could not get enough of it.

It was the perfect conclusion to this epic fantasy story.

A fantastic ending to a trilogy that should be on everyone's must read list!!

"I was labeled a hero by circumstance, but heroes were just people doing their best in impossible circumstances"

The final part of Halle and Theo's story and what a final it is, action packed from start to finish, an absolutely fantastic read.
Coralee weaves a storyline full of heartache and suspense that grips you page after page wrapping up the story in a perfect way, and yessss after the longest slow burn of slow burns they finally get down and dirty!!!!!!! 😈 woohoooo
I hope this is not the last we see of this author writing this type because she's a natural and I cant wait for more!

Halle's life has taken several unexpected turns. Once the spare sister, then a Prodigy and a shifter, now a _______. C'mon you didn't think I would give away any secrets, did you? What a story! The conclusion to Halle's story had a bit of everything. There's danger, suspense, love, loss, and a Happily Ever After. The final showdown takes place and it comes at a steep price. Not everyone sees the outcome. Halle and Theo finally get their moment and it is everything. But Halle is the star of this story. She finds her purpose, her strength, her love, and her destiny with the help of her friends, loves, and family. The story was solid but the execution felt a little rushed. Overall, however, it was entertaining and satisfying.

Phase of Mate was everything I wanted out of a finale. Halle is put to the test as she accepts who she is meant to be. I'm loving the emotional growth and the push toward a healthy mental space as well. Halle is tapping into her true depth of emotion, something I only wish I could do. She is forced to learn true control in order to properly wield the power that she has so that her pack will be safe. I pretty much had tears in my eyes for half the book but it hurt so good. Halle and Theo FINALLY claim each other and I am so here for it. Every little detail that went into this book made for a fantastic ending. I'm genuinely sad to see the end of Halle's journey!
