Kovalivker’s compositions breathe sincerity.
It is in that word, “sincerity” where one has to look for the key to his literature; his verse is a substantial verse, which does not involve precious adjectives but seeks to manifest itself in the clearest, most eloquent and vigorous way possible “so that everyone understands me” as he says.
To the word “sincerity” we should add another: “fervor”, meaning the desire to communicate, to build bridges from words to speak through his heart to the heart of others.
