The Holiday family is back, crazier than ever in this special, Valentine's Day story!

Cupid hits a few roadblocks on the way to Sam and Noel's hearts after their whirlwind Christmas romance. N*pplegate 2016, a stray stripper and a regrettable mix-up with narcotics are just the tips of the arrow when it comes to shooting these two with happily ever after. Nothing seeing a grown man wearing an adult diaper and wings can't fix...hopefully.

Cupid Has a Heart-On is book two in The Holidays series by Tara Sivec. If you read book one in this series, The Stocking Was Hung, then you have some idea of what to expect with this one. Continuous hilarious chaos in the Holiday household.

 :

When we last left Sam and Noel, their future looked bright. But Noel is still job hunting. She has submitted her resume everywhere she possibly could but no nibbles at all. She is having doubts about Sam’s fake Christmas Eve marriage proposal. Was it real? He was pretending to be someone else at the time. She is still wearing the ring but she just has that little bit of doubt. Even though he is constantly asking her to move in with him, she doesn’t want to without a job and without the reassurance that they really are engaged.

Valentine's Day Table:

So, how does she remedy this? By talking to him of course. But, she is living with her parents. And not a minute goes by without some craziness. Every time she gets close to “the talk” something gets in the way.

sexy on the washing machine:

We meet a few new additions to the crazy characters that are in Noel and Sam’s world. We meet her best friend, Scheva and Sam’s best friend and fellow marine, Alex. There might also be a stray stripper along the way that Bev brings home.

Sam and Noel manage to get themselves into plenty of crazy situations as Valentine’s Day approaches. Sam is desperate to convince Noel to move in and is worried he is losing her.

I love that Tara Sivec threw in a little cross over in this one with her Chocolate Lovers series, which I haven’t read but plan to! So that means that this book contains plenty of references to sex toys, add in a stripper pole, a mix up of medication, and so much more.

Dancer:

You should read book one before this one to really appreciate all the hilarity. And it seems there is the promise of more of Sam and Noel’s journey to look forward to. I can’t wait.

"You make me want to wear my heart on my sleeve, Noel."

Another fantastically funny read in Tara Sivec's The Holidays series. This is the second book in the series, but if you haven't read A Stocking Was Hung then you must read it first. After the Christmas holiday fiasco, the Holiday family is now faced with more pandemonium as Valentines Day approaches.

"We really need to establish a safe word when we speak."
"Your father's safe word is donuts. But it's always so confusing. I never know if he wants me to stop spanking him or if he's just hungry."
"DONUTS! DONUTS! DONUTS!"

As always Noel's family doesn't have a filter when sharing information. Even though Sam proposed to her at Christmas, she's doubting whether it was real or not. Because of these doubts, she is still living with her parents. Every time she goes to talk to him about it something insane always happens like nipple piercings, a job interview on "X" and pole dancing to name a few.

"Your mother is getting the hang of looking like someone having a stoke in the middle of an awkward pole dance and everyone feels too bad to make her stop."

This book will have you laughing out loud just like the first book. While reading this I couldn't help but think thar this series would make a great movie if we added the wedding to it. I'm really hoping we get a book about the wedding filled with all of the crazy mishaps that could and will take place. *fingers crossed*

Words cannot even express how awesome this book was! I laughed so hard, and so often, I think I broke something! *lol*

Do not pass go! Do not collect 200 dollars! JUST READ THIS BOOK! I can't wait to see what is coming next..I'll just leave you with the following diddy!

"Your father's safe word is donuts", she muses. "But it's always so confusing. I never know if he wants me to stop spanking him or if he's just hungry."

Now, that's some funny shit right there! I laughed out loud quite a few times and enjoyed this better than the first one. This family is hilarious. But, Sam has my heart. I absolutely love him! Can't wait to see what's in store for the wedding.

Next book about Sam and Noel. Great story and totally funny! Usually I don't like books continuing thee story of the first set of main characters, but this one was a riot. Tara brought in the ladies from Chocolate Lovers series (Liz and Claire). We also meet Sam's best friend Alex and Noel's best friend and Noel's best friend Sheva If there is another book I'm hoping it is about Sam and Noel's wedding and also more about Alex and Sheva!

This book makes me want to re-read the Chocolate Lovers & Chocoholics series again!

I loved this! This was hilarious and there better be another one! The only complaint I had was the addition of the stripper- I'm super picky so instead of making me laugh it made me uncomfortable. Also, if Sam had any interaction with the stripper I would have taken away stars. It's bad enough that his friend Alex manhandled her breasts and created drama with his gal. Aside from that this story was a wonderful treat!

I'm so in love with Sam and Noel and all her crazy family! I don't think I've ever laughed so hard reading a book! I really hope their story continues with the wedding planning. If any of Tara Sivec's other books are like this one, she is going to become one of my new favorite authors!

I love reading about Noel's extremely crazy family. I can't imagine ever having such an insane relatives. But overall I laughed a lot. Aunt Bobby was pretty awesome.

My review:

This was such a super cute book. After reading the last novella/installment, I knew I would love to read more about this couple and family.

This book picked up right where the other left off. We get more funny scenes with Noel's crazy ass family. We also meet her good friend and also the hero's good friend. There is a side romance that is completely SAFE and super cute as well.

I did giggle while reading this and like I said, I can't wait to read more :D

There are no words. Just give me a moment to refresh myself.

Now that my stomach's stopped cramping because of the non-stop laughter, I shall continue.

You know what's worse than parents catching you doing it? It is you catching them doing it.

Poor Noel and Sam. Gosh the poor, tortured souls! XD
Plus Noel's transgender aunt and her sexual deviancy and her various escapades.

I doubt there's anyone out there right now, who can come up with such insanely ridiculous and hilarious characters and situations. Of course, the sexy-times are pretty hot too, but the comedy and the characters are the best part of the book.

Most of the time I wanted to yell "Just talk to each other dammit!!!" Everyone in this book don't know how to communicate. Except Scheva. She might be best character in the book. Noel was a little off in this book. It wasn't like the first. But it was funny and nice so I gave 3.5 stars!

There was Seduction and Snacks! Since I reaaaally love Claire and Liz, I love seeing them in this book too. All the book thing was awesome. And I noted the books. I hope I can read them too.

FYI, Noel's mother is soooo not funny. Didn't laugh at all.

This is my style of comedy and I love reading these after I have been reading some really heavy books. I gave it 5* because in it's category of crude comedy it deserves it :). If your after a light read that has you laughing all the way through and falling in love with the craziest family out then give this series a read you will not be sorry.

I could not stop laughing! I love the holiday series and can’t wait to read the rest of the books in the series. I feel bad for Noel and Sam - they just couldn’t catch a break but Aunt Bobbie and Bev are hilarious! If you need a good laugh you have to pick up this series!

First off, if you need to have a good laugh and want a whack-a-doodle of a book, then I highly recommend that you read Cupid has a Heart-On by Tara Sivec. To be honest, I have always found Meghan Quinn's books hilarious but OMFG - this was like a whole new level. I was laughing so hard from page #1. This book was pure and utter craziness, and you just can't help laughing at the antics of all these characters. I have to say Grandma Mazur and Stephanie Plum's family have nothing on The Holidays. If it wasn't one thing, then it was another, and there is no pausing in the laughter either as every page has you in stitches. In Book #2 Noel and Sam are moving from fake engagement to a real relationship, but with this family sex and crazy is part of their everyday vocabulary. From Aunt Bobbie who is a woman now to the Sex Parties to Noel's crazy sex-fuelled parents and then, of course, I went Awh when Sam's secret was discovered haha. If you are single this Valentine's Day and needing something like a crazy book to cheer you up and make you feel less lonely, then check out Cupid has a Heart-On and trust me, readers after reading this book if you thought your family put the fun in dysfunctional - think again.

This one was much like the first book, filled with misunderstandings and lots of eye rolling moments you can't help but laugh at. Noel's family is definitely crazy! Her parents overshare and have no boundaries. It was fun to see Sam's friend give him advice on what to do with Noel. Good thing he listened to him.

3 "God help us all." Stars

Sam and Noel's story continues in another installment of Tara Sivec's signature comedic romance style. Cupid Has a Heart-On is fast, funny, and light. It will make you laugh out loud from beginning to end. I'm glad we get to follow this sweet couple and their zany family through the holidays.

Genre: Romantic Comedy

I am making it my mission to read this entire series this weekend. Frankly, I need a good laugh as school is starting in 2 days and I am not looking forward to all the shenanigans that go with it. This series is definitely helping!!!

In Cupid Has a Heart-On, readers will be reacquainted with Sam and Noel- but this time, during Valentines day! Underneath the humor, readers will feel the insecurities that both Sam and Noel have in terms of the proposal that happened during Christmas (was it a REAL proposal?) and moving in together. Despite these insecurities though, the love that exudes from the two comes off as magical, the sex is downright dirty (if you can get through the blue balls), and the humor is laugh out loud funny! I love this family, their crazy antics, and the things they do.

Readers can expect:
- A job interview that doesn't go exactly as planned when Noel is accidentally given ecstasy instead of a Xanax (Edward Cullen paper, accidentally undressing and dancing on the interviewers desk)
- A stripper named Pinky who happens to spend a few nights with the Holiday family making things a teensy bit uncomfortable
- Aunt Bobby (need I say more?)

and so. much. more

If you love romantic comedies, you HAVE to read the Holidays series by Tara Sivec. It's hilarious, but also a quick and easy read that will entertain you from page 1 to the very end.
