Awesome read. These books aren't very long - this one was 224 pages....but there is a lot of action and suspense packed into those 224 pages.

Another thrilling addition to this action-packed series! I loved getting to know Tucker in the previous books, and was excited to read his story. I really like this fun group of friends, and this whole series has made me appreciate the group of guys more and more with each new book, this one's no exception there! I loved seeing the guys once again banding together to help out a friend in need. Having the ladies and wives from some of the previous stories and seeing them interact with each other was a fun treat as well!

I also felt like this was one of the more complex mysteries and it kept me guessing, which I loved! It was a nice surprise getting to see how the story slowly unfolded (well, it's a fast paced read, but the mystery unfolds a clue at a time, and they are more interwoven in ways that we didn't see quite as much in earlier books.) This, plus the deepening feelings between the main characters, and their struggle to maintain a professional relationship and balance that while trying to hold on to their growing friendship in the midst of chaos? Yes, this is a fun story!

It wasn't my favorite over all, and there were a few places where the pacing lagged a bit, which allows readers to catch their breath a minute before more action kicks in, but it made the story feel a little slower at times, and a couple of the scenes came off almost like filler content. Which is fine, and I get that sometimes it's needed, but these are fast paced reads and on the shorter side, so it doesn't work as well here...At least, I found them unnecessary.

I would have liked to get to know some of the characters more or at least had some meaningful event, something the characters could actually enjoy together maybe? Instead, most of these scenes seemed to be them traveling between point A and B, and not really overly helpful, they are short and there were only a couple though, so it didn't affect the story too much either way.

We've met Tucker in the previous stories, the army ranger who stands by his friends to help them protect their loved ones. When he interrupts an attacker trying to kill Leah, he discovers that she's been trying to find the sister of his army friend who died. They've been friends, but working together on the case brings them closer. She's also waiting on her results to determine whether she's officially in remission from her cancer. They both have to decide whether moving forward together is something they want, despite their pasts and the uncertainties of the future - while trying to survive attacks from an unknown assailant, who may be closer than they think.

This is another page turner in the series. Getting to know this group of friends and the foundation of their faith in navigating hard times has been encouraging. Recommend this series for those who enjoy Christian suspense.

Another Great Addition to an Awesome Series

I've really enjoyed Lynn Shannon's clean, inspirational, suspense romances. This series has been a particularly favorite since the heroes are wounded warriors. This author offers a unique perspective, depth, and style which is lacking in many other books in this genre.
In this story, I liked that the heroine was also a warrior in her own way. The variety of the characters is nice. The author is consistent in keeping those characters to the personalities built in their own stories. The technical side of the writing is pretty good, too.
If you love inspirational suspense romance, then I recommend this book. Just one more note...this series contains stand alone stories. You could read them out of order and still not ruin anything.

Just great:
This was another great addition to what has already been a fabulous series. It's the 4th book in the Triumph Over Adversity series but could still be enjoyed as a standalone. It was fast paced and kept me on my toes, however I liked that there was also an emotional depth to it. I also enjoyed the Christian message that came across as authentic without being preachy.
I loved Leah and Tucker and thought they made a perfect couple. You could really feel the connection and mutual trust and adoration between them. Once again I really enjoyed the strong friendship bonds that existed between this group and how they truly cared for one another.

4.5 stars.

I enjoyed the flow of this series and it held my interest throughout as I tried to work out who was good and what was really going on. I enjoyed the strong relationships in this, the openness they had, the way they encouraged and supported one another and shared their faith. I really liked Tucker and Leah, seeing them take their time to be friends, to work through their individual struggles and to build a foundation for a strong and lasting relationship was lovely to see. I am enjoying their series and look forward to reading the next one.

This Read Gives Hope

One think I’ve enjoyed in all of Lynn Shannon’s Triumph series is hope. Flaws, crisis of faith, adversity. But always hope.
Tucker’s transition from military to civilian life mirrors the true difficulties our veterans face. But a community offers options. The group of men who support one another from combat to small town living is a must for soldiers. Leah’s pursuit of her vanishing friend gives hope that someone has our back.
Each book is standalone. I e read them all in sequence. The author does an excellent job of making each narrative different as well as the suspense.
Looking forward to the next installment!

Loved it!

Strategic Plan is the fourth book in the series, and I loved it just as much as the others. The pacing was fast, the plot was interesting, keeping me turning pages as fast as I could, and the romance was swoony. Sigh. So good. Leah was fearless and determined to find her missing friend, while Tucker was steady as a rock, wanting to help Leah and protect her. Another fantastic book by Lynn Shannon!

I have enjoyed how the stories in this series intertwine yet they stand alone. Leah keeps looking for her friend who has disappeared for 18 months. When Tucker comes into town. He saves Leah from being killed and then starts helping her find Kaylee, his friend William's twin sister. As Tucker continually saves Leah's life after many attempts to harm her, they work together to find Kaylee. Many good twists and turns that are easy to follow yet maintain the suspense to the end.

Twist and turns, unanswered questions, a missing person, and a group of former military men willing to,do whatever it takes to keep Leah safe and help track down whoever was trying to kill her. I was hooked from the first page and look forward to reading the next book in the series. Each book can be read as a stand-alone, but I’m enjoying reading them in order and watching the various relationships develop.

ONE OF MY NEW FAVORITE AUTHORS!

Each book is as good, if not better than the last. Great story line. Relatable characters. Edge of your seat suspense. This book gives you all the feels! A sweet romance while keeping the scenes clean. Each book gives honor to God as the characters proudly profess their faith while gently encouraging others to grow in their own walk with God. Lynn Shannon does not disappoint!

Brilliant

This had the lot - excitement, intrigue, mystery, danger, romance and faith. Tucker and Leah are thrown together after Leah is attacked and romance blooms amidst the danger. Well written with rounded and complex characters and the storyline keeps you engaged from start to finish. Another brilliant read from Ms. Shannon.

I enjoyed how the story flowed and kept me guessing what will happen next. It has a Christian element but does not preach to the reader. While searching for a missing friend, they build a friendship that eventually turns to more. It is a great addition to an already great series.

Leah and Tucker balance each other out and while you love Leah's determination adding in Tucker being the grounding force makes them the perfect match. This is a great read with a story that has you turning the page needing to know what will happen next and if everyone will get a HEA.

Another great book by Lynn Shannon

I’ve been a fan of Lynn Shannon since I read my first book by her. This series is good and book 4 Strategic Plan is a great read. Romance, suspense, mystery all rolled into a plot that keeps you guessing as to who exactly is the bad guy right up to the end. Not to mention characters that you cheer for and can relate to. Well done!

Not as suspenseful as the others…

Having read the previous Triumph over Adversity books I was ready for another suspenseful read but…yes, I liked the characters Tucker and Leah but their story was seemingly lacking the intrigue that the other books had. Still a nice, clean read - thanks Lynn Shannon.

This was a fast paced story. Leah is searching for her friend Kaylee who has disappeared and is attacked. Tucker interrupts the attack on Leah and discovers that her friend is the twin sister of his fallen comrade William. As the attacks escalate, Tucker and his friends protect Leah while searching for Kaylee.
The story line was riveting with the right balance of suspense, action, and romance.

Friends don't give up on friends

Leah knew that Kaylee hadn't left of her own free will. After being rescued by Tucker , who was also looking for Kaylee, they joined forces to find her. Little did they know that they both would be rescued as well. Intrigue and mystery keeps you so spellbound, you can't turn the pages fast enough.

Strategic Plan

Leah is determined to find her friend Kaylee, Tucker was Katie's twin William's best friend and was with him when he died. They pair up to find Kaylee and protect Leah against her attacker, falling in love during this time. With help from the guys they find and rescue Kaylee. Lots of twists and turns, murder and mayhem. Great story, love this author.

I liked the characters. I loved the way their faith was so much a normal part of their lives. I don't like (and she does this in other books too) how there is a cut scene at the most pivotal part of the book. They're in the most danger...end chapter. Then the next chapter they're safe and someone shows up to give a rundown of what happened. Just my opinion, but I'd rather stay in the action.

Really enjoying this set of books - love how the stories get intertwined with the characters. Reading through the 'who done it' mystery and the hard times of struggling with their faith is encouraging. Recommend this series for those who enjoy Christian suspense. Love clean reads with men stepping up to protect and serve.

Leah and Tuckrr

Well written and so hard to put down! Each book in this series has heart pounding action and characters I love. Their lives have trouble but they have integrity, compassion and courage. The twisting plot kept me in suspense until the end, which came too soon!
