House of Berserkers: The Complete Series

Rate this book
As a female berserker, I’ve long ago accepted that I can’t shift. That barbaric side of my people is reserved for the males only.

So no one is more surprised than me when I go berserk, kill a dangerous man, and find myself in a frightening situation.

Far from my family and friends, a strange ally from my past stands as my protector, even though he has secrets of his own. And when a handsome mutant is drawn to me, and a dragon shifter names me as his mate, I’ve got more than my hands full.

Except, apparently, fate has a sense of humor because life only gets more complicated when a terrifying man claims that I will be his bride, whether I want to be or not. This psycho has named himself king of the berserkers, and he’s determined to make me his queen.

I have three sexy men at my side, a power within me I don’t understand, and a war to stop. It’s an easy choice, really, to take this all on, because if I lose… I lose everything.

HOUSE OF BERSERKERS is the complete House of Berserkers series including the books Untamed, Unknown, and Unstable. This is a collection of steamy reverse harem novels with a strong heroine and three protective alpha heroes. It doesn’t have any cheating and does end with a happily ever after.

House of Berserkers is the complete series of three books - Untamed, Unknown and Unstable.

Untamed - Book 1
On a night out with her friends Berserker Kiera (FMC) ends up killing some high up Vampires. Which leaves her with two options being killed herself and being forced to enrol at The Wicked Reform School. A so called school for reforming Supernaturals. Kiera being the only female Berserker there is problematic in itself but she is also the focus of the male population there too. Emory - Another Berserker and someone Kiera doesnt know if she can trust, Drake - an arrogant Dragon & Adam - a shy, untrusting mutant. 3 guys bringing plenty of their own complications.

Unknown - Book 2
The plot twists and turns in this book made my head spin Kiera (FMC) finds herself at the mercy of sadistic and cruel Maxen. The lengths that man went through in this book to not only terrorize Kiera but try to break her in order to get her to marry him was jaw dropping. I found myself praying that Kiera would deal with him. He was just bloody awful! I just finished reading this book and my head is chock full of unanswered questions.

Unstable - Book 3
A brilliant ending and all the loose ends were tied up perfectly. Lots of fast-paced action, tension, steamy sexy times, a new male complication and a few tears at the end. It was a great end to a great series

It was a brilliant trilogy of books with great characters that i genuinely loved

House of Berserkers, a complete series by Lacey Carter Andersen was absolutely amazing!!! I loved having all three stories packed into one collection as it made for the perfect weekend read full of spicy steam, endless action and tons of twists and turns along the way. This may be my LCA favorites of all times! The storyline was powerful and flowed beautifully throughout the entire series, the dynamic characters will draw you right in and hold you captive right from the start and the non stop action, betrayals and secrets will keep you enthralled from the very beginning! If you’ve read any of Lacey’s other fabulous collections then you MUST read this one as they all tie together!

Kiera, our fearless and and strong FMC, is a force to be reckoned with—and even more so after the discovery that she’s actually a rare and prophesied female berserker when one night out on the town turns deadly, and Kiera’s life is forever changed and she’s sent away…with someone from her past. But lucky for her she’s not alone for long as she encounters a few other sexy men along the way to help her with her journey—and to keep her safe from the evil warlord berserker “king” Maxen. A man crazy insane and hellbent to take Kiera as his wife.

What soon follows is an intense ride of emotions and action as bonds are formed, trusts are questioned and betrayals lurk around every corner. What is Kiera willing to do to protect those she loves? Anything. I love the hints at past characters and new alike and loved how the entire story played out—though there are a few unanswered questions I’m dying to know!!! Is there another dragon or was Drake mistaken?!? What’s the secret of Adam’s past?!? And what about dear sweet Lucy—let’s just say I need more!

Overall if you’re a fan of steamy paranormal RH romances that have tons of action, intrigue, mystery and a variety of hot alpha men and supernatural beings such as Berserkers, mutants, shifters, witches and warlocks then this is the collection for you! I can’t wait for Asha and the Enforcers story!

This series was my introductions to beserkers and I absolutely loved it! This series is full of action and plenty of twists and turns that keep you going until the end. I absolutely loved the life that Lacey brought to this book and hot Kiera is very sure in what is right and wrong.

Book 1:

I am dying after that ending and I cannot wait to find out what happens next. The men in this book have their own story to tell and I hope to find out more about them in the next book. Kiera has to figure out who she can really trust and she does have some strong feelings. There were plenty of moments that I just wanted to smack the men because of their stupid moments and other times that they were sweet that made me want to forgive them. The Wicked Reform School is not a peachy keen place and has it own rules so be prepared for anything to happen.

Book 2:

I absolutely loved that book two brought us back to where we left off at. Kiera is not backing down in this one and is determined to make it back to her family. She was able to break out of the Wicked Reform School only to land in yet another prison with King Maxen. Kiera learns more about herself in this book and she really puts her heart on the line. I felt myself breaking along with her in this book but she has to keep a straight face on so Maxen cannot use any of her weaknesses against her. We are left with another killer cliffhanger that absolutley kills you! This is definitely a must read and be prepared for it to not be an easy road! It is worth it to find out how their story progresses and I am dying for the next book in the series!

Book 3:

It seems like a race against time in this book while Kiera and her men are fighting with everything they have. They have to learn to trust but one wrong move could mean the end for them all. Kiera is a bada** in her own and I loved seeing her growth throughout this series! This book just took you for a ride emotionally that left you head reeling at times. The series was wrapped up but it also opened the door for another adventure.

Excited to see this fantastic series together in one collection! I have never read a book about a species known as Berserkers, so when I read the description of the House of Beserkers series, I was hooked! Such an incredibly unique story! Kiera is a fantastic MFC to follow. She's powerful and interesting, and I loved seeing this world through her eyes. And her men Adam, Drake, and Emory were just as fascinating bringing in all the action and steamy moments.

Untamed:
When Kiera's other half is brought forth, even though she did it to protect others, she was punished and sent to a reform school. School is a stretch because it is dangerous, and the teachers and students there are just as bad, but she does find friendship and strength, especially from three men: Adam, Drake, and Emory. I was completely entranced by this first book in the series!

Unknown:
I was so excited to delve back into this world of the House of Berserkers! Kiera is such an interesting heroine to follow. She is a Winter Berserker sent to a reform school in the first book. After meeting her three men, they had all hoped to escape, but they continue to be thrown many challenges. There are continued steamy moments, and I enjoyed seeing their relationship continue to grow. Unknown is a fantastic continuation of this addicting series!

Unstable:
Readers are back with Winter berserker Kiera and her men in Unstable! There were so many great moments throughout this series and a lot of questions answered in this final book. This was a whirlwind series and each book was more addicting than the last! I was sorry to see this series end, but wow, did Lacey Carter Andersen do a phenomenal job with the House of Berserkers series!

Even though House of Berserkers has come to an end, I cannot wait to read more stories from this ever growing world!

An amazing series that I loved so much. Here is my reviews for each of the books.

Untamed Review
Hot damn! This is an intense paranormal story that doesn’t hold back any punches. Berserkers, shifters, witches, warlocks, mutants and more. Keira is the main character. She can kick butt and look amazing doing it. She fears no one but has a heart of gold. When something bad happens her whole world will be turned upside down. But she never stops trying. She will find others along the way that may help her or hurt her. She won’t know who she can really trust. An amazing story that will leave you needing the next book now.

Unknown Review
This is an intense story and highly suggest reading it in order. Just when you think you figure something out everything gets turned around. The one constant is that Maxen is beyond insane and capable of cruelty you never heard of. Take crazy and multiply it by a thousand and you might get an idea of how bad this guy is. And Kiera has to marry this guy. What she is willing to do to protect others is beyond measure. She is one tough woman that can take down anyone. But Maxen is just too insane for her to handle. There are some dark moments with death and killing. So this isn’t for the faint at heart.

Unstable Review
Third and final book for the House of Berserkers but the world it is part of still has plenty of stories to come. Kiera has fought so hard to stop Maxen and his insanity. But danger and death seem to be attracted to her. Thankfully so are some protective men that would give their lives for her. Filled with action and danger.

Untamed:
Kiera is a rare female berserker, and after going berserk and killing, ends up in 'reform school', which is more like a prison. Kiera needs to complete tests and try to stay alive, so she can eventually graduate from this bizarre school. Also, due to how rare female berserkers are, she has caught the eye of a man wanting her to be his queen - something she really is not interested in.
I liked the characters in this story, about would love to read more about each of the main four. This ends on a cliffhanger, but that didn't bother me, I just want to find out what happens next!

Unknown:
Book 2 of this series has Kiera and her men trying to find a way to escape Maxen's control. He is extremely manipulative and is determined to have his Berserker wife, no matter who he hurts in the process.
I liked this story. A bit of an emotional one, but also frustrating in parts. You can really feel the struggles the characters are going through. And the ending? Leaves you wanting more!

Unstable:
Kiera and the men have had to overcome some huge obstacles, and this last book in the series was no different. An emotional rollercoaster as they each learn who they can trust while going through these difficult times.
I am not ready to say goodbye to these characters, I've come to really like them! A random bunch, but all so strong, especially when together. I've really enjoyed this series.

I have a soft spot in my heart for book collections. I'm a binge reader, and nothing is better than seeing "completed series", or "full set" emblazoned on a book. I've read several other books of Lacey's, and as before, this follows her standard paranormal recipe with shifters, demons, damaged characters, a few Berserkers, and a harem of men following a kickass heroine. I loved that Kiera was a Berserker. It's an uncommon character in a saturated paranormal world, and her skills as a normal human were amplified, but not completely transformed by her change. As a result, I had the impression of a strong woman who was built, not created by luck or innate paranormal sense, and that gave her character the fortitude and strength to pull off some the emotions and actions necessary to carry the story. I adored the relationship with her first 3 harem members, but the 4th I struggled to believe in. Our Berserker story plot is fairly straightforward, without too many twists. It reads cleanly, without any failures. Maxon is a villain that grabbed my attention. He is a Joffrey of Games of Thrones kind of evil, and I actually felt the desperation of Kiera and her men in their dealings with him. At the end, this was a good, easy read collection from Lacey, and perfect for simply relaxing and unwinding during a hot summer day.

I won’t read it again

This series was like watching a train wreck that you can’t get away from. Here’s a quick recap and my two cents.

Quick recap:

Kiera sees her best friend die and becomes a berserker. There’s a prophecy that says the next female berserker’s husband will become king of all the berserkers. So evil Maxen wants to capture her and force her to marry him.

My two cents:

I like a book that has a lot of action and keeps you engaged. I don’t mind violence to a degree. And sometimes characters need to go through trauma to become who they’re meant to be.

With all that said, there was too much violence and trauma in this book for me. Stories of how every single character was tortured in the past, plus the torture they received during the book was too much for me.

I also didn’t like how the ending was quite sudden. It almost ended on a cliffhanger if not for the epilogue. I cried for the last 5-10 mins of the book.

There are several sex scenes. No male on male scenes. I remember one scene with Kiera with two men.

Honestly, I won’t look for the other books and hope I don’t accidentally read them. If you like books that literally torture the main characters, then read this. If not, then stay far away!!

Started off pretty good then became repetitive, for being a rare female berserker, she was quite powerless. Her age showed earlier in the book her being 23 was adolescence for her race. MMC’s in the story we’re all tortured males, who were subjected to more torture. Emory was the most tortured and Keira was a complete cunt to him. Emory knew how to play the game , he was raised in that environment but Keria and her stupid Dragon kept pushing the boundary where Emory could not keep her safe….she constantly blames Emory for them being caught, but well guess he was suppose to take on everyone and die right there defending a weakened dragon and mutant or do what he did and try to get the healed up to fight anther day. By halfway through I was done with Keira and her half baked plans of escape…she’s a fucking berserker own that shit and gut him, quit expecting so sneak out the door shit like getting away will change the fact he will keep hunting you down. Only characters that were likable was Emory and Adam. Also pet peeve it list that Emory is stepbrothers with Maxim…however at beginning of Emory’s intro story Maxim and Emory have same father that makes the half siblings..nothing step about it.

Kiera is a female berserker who isnt supposed to be able to shift. Except she does and kills some dangerous vampires. Now she's being punished by being sent to a reform school where she learns she not only has an ally from her past there to protect her, but a dragon has named her as his mate and a mutant also seems to feel the same way. On top of that, a psychotic man naming himself the king of berserker has also decided to claim her, whether she likes it or not. Needless to say, Kiera's life is getting more and more interesting by the minute.

I did not read each individual book, but rather the set when it was released. For me, the series was interesting and had a fun concept that lead to some interesting scenes. I lived Kiera's character and her harem of men. Each one has a very different personality, but they are all alpha male determined to keep Kiera safe *swoon*.

The only thing I didn't care for was as I was reading through the series, you could tell when one book was over. The beginnings didn't flow with the ending of the last book, so it made reading the set less immersive.

House of Berserkers Complete Series

House of Berserkers is a fantastic series. I absolutely love the characters and the plot was so great. This series was high-action but also had its emotional moments. Filled with magic and danger, had a strong fmc, and hot, caring guys. I loved every single moment of it.

The series centers on Kiera a female berserker. Kiera has a spark of fire, she's independent, caring, strong, and defiant when it calls for it. She knows who she is and doesn't let anyone tell her otherwise. It also just so happens that she's the only female who can shift into her berserker form and there is a prophecy and a self-declared berserker king who is quite monstrous and wants her.

If you're looking for a fun and entertaining read centering on a unique supernatural then I suggest Lacey Carter Anderson's House of Berserker series.

An excellent paranormal reverse harem romance

Lacey Carter Andersen’s House of Berserkers is action packed and full of surprises. The main character has a strong sense of right and wrong while still being able to protect herself from the people trying to take away her right to choose how her life should go. This journey begins with Untamed and promises some hot guys and evil machinations to deal with. Unknown brings heartache and sorrow into the lives of the characters at various points in the book. Unstable ended this series on a high note and sets the reader up for the next step in this ongoing story that began with Elizabeth in Wraith Captive and is set to continue with Asha in Shifter Crimes.

I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

The House of Beserkers box set includes all three books from the series "Untamed" , "Unknown", and "Unstable".

This series is set in the Wicked Reform School universe (which is a MultiAuthor series)

I have to admit, I never read any of the individual books from this series (or any of the Wicked Reform School universe). However, I have heard MANY great things about this book. When I had the opportunity to read it, I knew I had to jump right on this. I was definitely not disappointed! (To be fair, I'm NEVER disappointed in Lacey Carter Anderson's books). It was so easy to read and follow. I couldn't put it down! It's completely action packed, has scorching hot, possessive alphas, fantastic world building, and a kickass FMC. I think the best part (well, in any story) is the major character development and glow up of these characters. Well worth the read!

The only thing better than finding a new great series by a fantastic author is...getting the whole collection / series in one spot! I mean really - I love when I get to the end I can just keep going - so pause just smooth flowing one to another reading! This is Andersen's House of Berserkers series - the complete series which includes: Untamed, Unknown, and Unstable. This is a reverse harem, paranormal romance series. Well written, captivating and oh so satisfying! Our lead female character is Kiera and she is bad @$$. Love her strength, wit and sass! Lots of action with twists to keep you turning page after page. A great series!

This book was given to me for free at my request and I voluntarily provided this review.

LOVE IT!!! Honestly I could read it again right now - Kiera is just that awesome. She is so strong even in her vulnerable moments. Adam is probably one of my top 3 book boyfriends and I have read A LOT of books. Drake is *chef's kiss* and Emory is meh lol. This series has it all - tragedy, betrayal, angst, action/adventure, unbeatable odds, and SPICE. The storyline always stays on a good pace and the author does a great job with painting a mental picture so the reader can really see her world.

**Spoiler Alert**

I felt there were some loose ends that weren't tied up. Like what happened with the best friend & will we ever find out who responded to Drake in his time of sorrow?

Oh my how LCA always draws you in! You know when you pick up one of hers that's what you're doing today!! And boy does this book deliver!! So much happens! This book really puts you through a rollercoaster of emotions!! From total despair to hope and happiness. So much pain and bloodshed. It has intrigue, fights, mystery, friendships, loyalties are tested, lots of different sups and of course some yummy times!! The story rushes along at a harrowing pace with new terror after another happening until you're not sure if you can stand it anymore but you also can't stop reading!! I was completely enthralled. I did not see all these events coming and was absolutely blown away by how this book unfolds. Absolutely loved it!!

I read these books on original release, and am happy to see the box set now available!

This is a trilogy which starts as part of the Wicked Reform School shared universe, then follows Kiera and her men, Emory, Drake and Adam, as they escape from the horrors of the school into the even worse clutches of Maxen, Emory's half brother.

The story is action packed, every time you think they've found a way out, something else comes up! There is also plenty of steam.

Kiera is a strong heroine, who knows what she wants, and her men are an interesting mix who suit her and complement each other.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series, and I love the subtle nods to several of the author's other books, too.

House of Berserkers is the complete series from beginning to end of Kiera's story. Things really start off interesting and shift from there into high gear. She's not prepared for what she's about to face, but she won't be alone in much of it as she finds her true place.
This series begins with Untamed and ends with Unstable. I'm not going to say that I loved every minute of these books because there were times when the heroine got on my nerves and then of course there were moments when one of the guys insisted on trying my patience to the max, but it's a good series to check out if you love strong heroine's, HEA endings, steamy scenes, and tons of drama with sexy men.
4.5 out of 5 stars for the entire series.

This book did NOT at all follow the path I expected it to. My absolute favorite parts of this book were the VERY strong FMC and dearly beloved Adam - what a sweet cinnamon roll of a character! Keira, our FMC, is a "stick to her guns" kind of woman and I think watching her remain consistent in that is one of the best parts of the book. I actually really liked the way the base story evolved over the three books. I think I would've liked to see a bit more of the spicy stuff between characters and see some of the problems get resolved in the series, instead of being assumed to resolve. I absolutely LOVE the way the base story ended in the third book. Finally...get yourself a cat like Princess. THAT IS ALL. Kudos to the author for making such a great book!

I fell in love with this series as soon as I finished book one. I'm soo glad this series was made as a box set because as soon as I finished book one I was ready for book two!

This book has it all seriously! Keira is one of my favorite FMC's and I really love that she holds strong to her beliefs. The men are just AMAZING and I definitely have a soft spot for Adam! This series has action, turmoil, angst, romance and most of all twists and turns. Although, I will say that I felt like some questions were left unanswered. I mainly fell in love that it featured a shifter I haven't come across too often in the paranormal world but one that I wish we definitely saw more of.

I'd give it a shot if you're looking for something different and love strong FMC's.

Sooooo Good, This series is set in a Multi Author set of books all set around the wicked reform school and to be fair intially it wasnt a instant one click or go to read as I couldn't picture a female Beserker being sexy but Lacey has portrayed our Heroine so well.
I love the fact that all her men are damaged/broken in some way but as a team they find peace and become whole - or at least that's what you think.
There are some real shockers along the way plus twists and turns with plenty of heat and sizzle, along with a heartbreaking moment or two - definateley worth a read and its so bingable!

This is such an amazing fantasy reverse harem collection! I love a lot of books by Lacey and this one is no exception. It is well written and the action is good. After killing a highranking vamp by accident Kiera needs to make a choice and chooses to go to the the wicked reform school. It is a school where they reform supernaturals. When Kiera arrives the male population takes notice. A male berserker and a dragon. The dragon she isn't so sure about as he is arrogant. Then there is a shy guy and he is a mutant. The guys bring enough complications of their own too and that is what makes this story epic in my opinion!

I love this book!!! I sat down and read straight through. By the end of the trilogy I was in tears because I was feeling all of the main characters. Talk about a happy ending!! Wow. Let me just say I love with Kiera. She kicks some major butt!!! She is a stronger woman that dosent need anyone to save her but she loves to have her men around for the ride. I felt so emotional involved in this book. I cried and laughed. It is sooo steamy. I had a book hang over. I can't wait to read a spin off of it. I highly recommend it.

This was my first RH with Beserkers and I loved it! A steamy, Paranormal RH with great characters and storyline. Book 1 is set in the Wicked Reform School, book 2 is much more a book full of world building and psychological warfare. A bigger world and lots more monsters. Book 3 is more a road trip book where you get more insight into the dynamics of the relationships and the threat of death hanging over them if they fail. This is a brilliant series and is still one of my faves. Great to be able to get it in a box set now.

Lacey keeps hitting it out of the park for me with her exciting stories and strong female lead characters. This reform school is kind of a prison slash academy type place, but here, everyone is trying to kill off the inmates/peers, including the teachers. So much danger, not much trust, and yet Keira manages to build a relationship with 3 incredibly different men. Each fill a corner of her heart and the romance is very steamy. Expect action, violence, suspense, twists and heat to sweep you away in this epic set :D

Loved this boxset and the books!! Such a page turner! The characters are awesome and the obstacles they face are a challenge. But they always seem to stick together and are for each other no matter what they face. Kiera is a strong character and her men are hot! All of them seem to work well together and there is nothing that will bring them down or apart. Boxsets are always great since you can read each book back to back and not have to wait for the next book...just the next story that will continue in the same setting. So definitely get this boxset...it is an edge of your seat thrill ride!

Absolutely loved this complete House of Berserkers box set by Lacey Carter Anderson. This entertaining box set had me glued to the page from start to finish. It has it all, the twists and turns, steam, mystery, the emotional rollercoaster ride, tension, it action packed, has magic, damaged characters, and surprising you don’t see coming. It has a good storyline with a twist of a female berserker and this author nailed it with writing the characters. I did still have a couple questions at the end of the story but overall it was a fantastic read. Highly recommend!!!

I love a strong female who kicks a$$ and gets the job done and Kiera is a berserker warrior who does just that without hesitating. This box set is perfect for a binge read and is filled with shifters, demons, mutants, hot and possessive alpha males in the harem, a psycho king, mystic spirits and so much more. It's action packed, steamy, thrilling and completely unputdownable. As part of the Wicked Reform School universe, it just makes me want to go back for more.
