As far as special agent Bailey Glazer is concerned, there’s no such thing as a good alpha. After witnessing her parents’ death at the hands of the beasts as a child, she’s dedicated her life to making sure no one else has to suffer the same fate. So, when her superiors come to her with an undercover mission to help bring down the newest Boundaryland, Bailey doesn’t hesitate.
He’s sworn to lay waste to everything she stands for.
Rowan’s chance at a real life was over before it began. Abducted, imprisoned, and tortured by beta forces at a young age, all he’s ever craved is revenge. Now it looks like fate has delivered his dearest wish—a beta spy. She thinks she’s the one in control, but now that she’s in his hands, Rowan has other plans.
Once there were boundaries…but now that their chains are broken, these alphas refuse to be contained.
Rowan is the eighth book in The Unchained Omegaverse, a hot new ABO romance series featuring knotting, heats, and possession. Wear gloves, cause this sh*t is hot.
Ever since she was little, Callie Rhodes' imagination has been landing her in trouble. From daydreaming about far off worlds in class, to escaping into the made up stories of her mind in the meeting room, she's been creating tales to take her away from the real world for as long as she can remember. Now she lives among the tall trees of Northern California, and has found a way to make a living off her fantasies.

Rowan de Callie Rhodes serie The Unchained Omegaverse libro 8
Argumento:
I like this series, but in all honesty, Rowan and Bailey are not my favorite couple. Their story is probably my least favorite because I didn't really care for Bailey's personality and I never really felt like I got to know Rowan. I was more interested in Hunter and Courtney tbh.
🖤 “It's okay, love. I’ve got you. You're okay now. I'm here.” ~~~ Bailey is a skilled FBI operative and knows how to take care of herself. She is one fierce, brave and strong woman. But from a young age, she’s been taught that alphas are cruel, insane and uncontrollable. Being filled with so much hate towards all alphakind who walk the earth, she accepts an undercover job to help get rid of them for good. But nothing is what it seems…
Rowan is one huge, growly and dangerous male. Even more, he’s fiercely protective, strong, possessive and loyal. But he hates betas for everything that happened to him and his fellow alphas in the Basement. So, he’s willing to do anything in his power to keep everyone in the Ozark Boundarylands safe.
I enjoyed everything that happened between Bailey and Rowan. When her undercover mission takes an unexpected turn, Bailey ends up in the hands of a ruthless alpha. From the moment they met, their attraction was strong but, filled with so much hate and distrust, neither of them was willing to act upon it. Nevertheless, I loved the time they spent together, constantly trying to get under each other’s skin and trying to figure out the other person. So, when secrets finally got revealed, all bets were off. Rowan and Bailey were perfect for each other and when they couldn’t resist the need for one another anymore, the passionate moments they shared were so hot!
In addition, the storyline was great. Hoss is back and she’s more evil than ever. And the ACD is getting closer and closer to the Boundarylands. Even more, I loved Courtney and Hunter and I hope we get to read their story soon.
Overall, the story is another great addition to the series! It’s filled with danger, action, suspense, secrets, twists, violence, hot romance and awesome characters.
Eh, somethings just went too fast to be believable. Could have been better on developing the character’s and their relationship. More on her family (what was left of it). More time on her relationship with Hoss before she went on her first mission. More time spent with developing her renewed relationship with Courtney. All around, there needed to be more of a story.
In the end, it was rushed and felt as if it was a just hurried through to get to the end. Also quite a few typos that should have an editor fired or in need of retaining one for future books.
Bailey and Rowan was a quick read with the usual twist. I am wondering what is next because the ACD keeps getting closer and closer to infiltrating the boundary lands so I wonder what the end results will be for the Alphas. I enjoyed this story wish she wasn’t so new to the FBI that she did actually have more information and experience to offer the alphas.
Wonder what is up with Courtney and Hunter’s story and I guess we’ll also see about Kane.
This was really good. I couldn’t put it down once I started. Bailey an FBI agent believed the lies she was told until she met Courtney and the Alpha Rowan. Hoss is back in the picture and she is pure evil. There were a few misuse with names and details but this was still a truly enjoyable read. Thought maybe Courtney and Hunter story would be next but onward to Kane’s story.
It's been a while since I read a book in this series but I am happy to see they're as good as I remembered. There were a few incorrect name or missed words but not enough to turn me off of this book or the series but the author could use a "good beta" reader [anyone who has read the series from the beginning will be groaning at the joke].
I'm always looking forward to the next book in a series I enjoy but I really can't wait for Hunter & Courtney's book!
I’ve read all of the 15 Boundaryland series & the 8 Unchained books to date and I found Rowan to be the least entertaining. The plot was as good as expected but it seemed to lack the sexual intensity of the other books, it felt like it was rushing to get to the end. I’m waiting for the next in the series “Zane” and the others to follow.
This one was not as good as some of the others; Bailey came around WAY too easily and honestly, I didn't really like her anyway. It felt like some weird brainwashing both ways, I'm not impressed with this addition to the series. Rowan was decent, if not a little predatory in his thoughts.
The overall ark in the series Regarding government conspiracy is so fascinating. I am enjoying all of these books and including this 1. The romance is always fiery and steamy.
A true enemies to lovers and the banter is fun. I liked the characters and the plot. All the stories are very spicy and different. All of them have a unique story that keeps me coming back.
This was a good book. Although I found it a little strange that with all the dedication she put into her training towards law enforcement, she didn’t think to look up her parents’ case herself. But I guess everyone has blind spots for family.
There has to a book in a series that you don’t gel with and this was the book for me. Whilst reading I just didn’t feel the chemistry between Rowan and Bailey so wasn’t totally invested in their story. They weren’t bad characters, but they weren’t my fav either.
Okay this one was cheesy, different from the others but probably my least favorite. I feel like Bailey completely dismisses his own trauma and is self absorbed also the end felt rushed
This was a very pleasant book with a little bit of steam. I wouldn't mind twice as much steam. Like all the Alpha's Rowan has his own issues to work through. But is a good solid Alpha.
