Secrets of the Louvre

Rate this book
A historical mystery. The characters of this book are fictional, but the story is based on historical events and real people. Some of these people are infamous, well documented criminals who lived during World War II.

When former CIA agent Antone La Rue wakes up in a Parisian hospital after a car accident, he doesn’t know how he got there or who he was before…or why someone tried to kill him. As he starts putting together the pieces of his past with the help of his faithful nurse, Alana, he crosses paths with her grandfather, the gifted Jewish master-art restorer Hans Muller.

This historical novel was simply written and easy to follow by this first time author. The historical facts connected to this story was fascinating. However the story intertwined with this timeframe was very hokey. Especially Chris’ relationship with Alana. I kept rolling eyes. But overall enjoyable.
