If book one had me stressed… book two had me in a CHOKEHOLD. 😮‍💨 Journee and Jonas? Whew love is cute until it’s life or death! The secrets were deeper, the betrayals were messier, and everybody had blood or guilt on their hands. 😩💥

Jonas really had me questioning if loyalty even exists in the streets or in love. One second he’s “I got you forever,” the next he’s moving like a walking contradict. And let’s talk about Journee. My good sis was fighting for her life AND her heart, okay?! She wanted peace, but kept getting chaos.

This was an emotional warfare, they turned up the heat . Jahquel and Treasure had made me screaming at my Kindle all over again.

Love won

How dare Journee parents think it was ok to treat her the way they did. Her brother was going to kill Jonas and that was ok with them. It was her brother fault she got shot and he left her for dead, so he was forgiven but she was disown. Nia got on my last nerve, knew she was just waiting her turn. She knew he still loved Journee and their relationship would never work. Po did right to me by not telling Mariya about Riya sometimes your partner doesn’t need to know stuff that will only hurt them. Man Lex was ride or die for real. I’m glad love won in the end for all of them.

I just started from the beginning of the series reading a few and this series was definitely a 10 and worth 5 stars, how could you not like the book. The amount of stress this book put me through was insane. I’m so glad Jonas and Journee worked it out. I wanted them together real bad. So bad that for the 1st time I had to read a snippet of the epilogue to make sure Journee and Jonas worked out, my nerves were that bad 😂😂😂. So loving Jah’s books and can’t to get through her catalog.

Finessing The Plug

I really liked this series. I knew I couldn't trust Nia. She was dirty. I loved all the couples especially Jonas and Journee. Their chemistry was off the charts. It was hard for them to hide their feelings. I also loved how Journee still treated Jaycee as her own. Definitely a page turner from these authors.

Finally

I finally got my HEA. Whew, that Nia was a whole mess! It was nice to see the three primary couples grow and evolve into positive relationships. I can rest easy knowing through it all love prevails.
